Very nice people and very delicious food

The Cuban and Miami sandwiches were delicious, as was the flan and guava & cheese dessert empanada.. Great little local restaurant. Definitely coming back to try some more.

First time eating here for lunch. Excellent food and exceptional customer service. I encourage you to stop in for a nice authentic Cuban meal. A wonderful gem in downtown Bartow!

Stopped in for a cuban cortadita. Was extremely happy with the result!! Only negative is my own...that I was not there to eat. Staff were friendly and man o man the delicious smells!!!

All I can say is that I’m stuffed. I was surprised at the taste of the black beans and rice. I was scared to get them at first but when I tasted them, OMG!! The flavor awakened my pallets with flavor. Service was great and the music was peaceful. A lot of food for the little bit of money. The pic is of the food that I’m taking home. I’m stuffed

We were introduced to Havana Delights by a friend, and let Mr tell you the food was awesome. More than the food, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had the best cuban coffee (black) than I had in years. We will definitely go back

Had the Elena Ruth sandwich and it was so good. Sweet and savory and delicious. Sliced turkey breast, cream cheese and strawberry preserves served as a hot sandwich with potato sticks sprinkled on top. Deviled crab was also good but couldn’t even finish it after devouring my sandwich. My husband had the Cuban and loved it, he also ate both potato balls we ordered. Will be back

What a wonderful and unexpected find on our road trip! Authentic Cuban food and is was truly delicious. The owners go above and beyond to ensure your visit is a positive one. The sandwiches were hearty, the cafe con leche was made with steaming hit milk and the darkest of coffees- just what we needed to continue our trip. And to top it off, Cuban music was playing in the background, bringing back childhood memories. We'll definitely go back! .

We were there at lunch time and there was only 2 women working there butt off. They needed help we had to wait a little bit but when we got out food it wasn't bad.

Havana Delights, oh, what a delight! Stopped for lunch passing through town. I usually get Cuban food in South Florida, and I have to say the food and service here are excellent. They were able to answer my questions and make suggestions. I opted for the Cuban, but I'm definitely considering the Midnight next time. Also, I got 2 croquettes just to try. They were fried to a perfect crisp with good flavor and the right amount of salt (They have a croquette sandwich. Maybe I should get that next time). I also got a side of tostones (green plantain) and maduros (sweet plantain) because, well, I love them both. The green plantains were hot, crisp and salted just right. I recommend asking for a side of Mojo to dip the green plantain. The sweet plantain were just like I expected. With so much food, there was, of course, leftovers. The remaining half of the sandwich was still delicious, cold, several hours later.

Very nice. Personable. Great food. Sometimes they're a little busy. Even when busy, they are still attentive and friendly.

Had lunch here a few weeks ago. Had the Chicken Breast. It came with grilled onions. It also came with yellow rice and black beans. Ordered Stuffed Potato on the side. Also ordered The Cuban sandwich for later. Everything was great. Not expensive.

My brother decided to take me out to lunch in Bartow and we both like Cuban's and saw your restaurant and we had lunch. I had the black beans and yellow rice with shrimp. Now I'm a fan of black beans and yellow rice. My brother loved his Cuban to go after he had grilled chicken. We will be back.

Delightful little Cuban restaurant where the friendly service and atmosphere are as important as the food.

First visit was disappointing. The Cuban was pretty good but small as compared to most. Black beans and yellow rice were dry.

The food was delicious. The chef (and owner) delivered my meal and said if it was too spicy he would prepare it again. He did! It was delicious! I ordered the shrimp and fish and my husband ordered the shredded pork. Both were delicious. The serving/cooking team made us feel very welcome (like family). I would recommend this restaurant!

My husband and I ventured and found this lil hidden gem. I felt like I was eating at my mom's house. I had a delicious palomilla steak, white rice and black beans with a side of tostones and salad. My husband had the Miami sandwich (Cuban with chorizo sausage). Both meals were sooooo delicious and savory. Ended the meal with a steaming cortadito. Our waitress was soooooo sweet and attentive. Excellent experience!

Another delicious meal here My husband and I both had Spanish bean soup and he had to picadillo with rice and beans and I had the Miami Cuban. Everything is always so good here never had a bad meal. The food is delicious. The hospitality is 10 stars all across the board. can’t say enough good things about This restaurant

I’ve been coming here for years. The food is always good and the owners are always kind! I no longer live in the area but every time I come to visit my hometown I try to come here as well. It’s my favorite restaurant in the county.

Every visit takes me back in time remembering the good food I enjoy while in Cuba!

My uncle and I go there all the time for their cuban sandwiches, deviled crabs, cuban coffee. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly.

Stopped by and ordered a Palomilla Steak with Rice and Beans and my wife ordered grilled Chicken with Rice and Beans avout 5pm Monday. It took a while to get the food and that is why I am unsure why the food was cold. How can my Palomilla Steak be cold after waiting. The roce and beans was cold and I don’t k ow why someone took the initiative to place the beans on top of the rice we prefer in the side but no one asks. I think this was old rice and old beans someone just warmed it in the micro and did not give it enough time. The server was pleasant. I don’t know why they would let a homeless person in the place and have him be loud he made some ladies uncomfortable on the table next to us. I was also uncomfortable since when I sit at a place to eat I want it be pleasant. Where was the bread. How can a cuban place not provide bread with garlic with the meal. So with the homeless person, the cold food and no bread its a 1. I don’t think I can convince my wife to ever come back.

I’ve ordered their food twice, once was takeout and the other was delivery by Sauce which is the delivery company Havana uses. The food has always been great. Sauce delivery not so much.

We had some great Cuban food, the people were very friendly and helpful, great local business.

Wow!!! I used to live in Key West many years ago and my favorite food became Cuban food. My mom moved to Winterhaven and I came to visit, needing Cuban food. Omg, this Rooa Vieja and Palomilla Steak with Yellow Rice and Beans was amazing. Don’t get me started on the Fried Plantains and Yucca!! There will no visiting my mom without a trips to Havana Delights Cafe!!

The taste, freshness, flavor- AMAZING!

This is the second time I’ve been here, but I can’t give an honest rating for the food, because each time, everyone else in my party has gotten their food and I’ve been left waiting for a basic Cuban sandwich for more than 15 minutes longer than the rest. The people are pleasant, but I have no idea why the flagship item takes LONGER than more complicated dishes. The atmosphere is great, but it’s hard to enjoy it when everyone else is chowing down and the space on the table in front of me is empty. I’m not sure what’s happened the two times I’ve visited, but I doubt I’ll be returning.

The Rice and Beans are so delicious, hard to find authentic Cuban food like this please, various options to choose from, definitely worth it.

This place is absolutely amazing. The owner was our server. She was very welcoming. Walked me through the menu. This was my first time trying cuban food. Everything we ate was fresh and full of flavor.

My husband and I just stopped in on our way through town. I love Cuban food and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! Delicious flavors. The shredded beef was awesome. The ladies working were so sweet and made us feel like an extended part of their family. Wish we lived in town so we could eat here more often!

I love this place. We have been eating here for years. Comfort food for sure. Service is always amazing, makes you feel like family 😊 We got the deviled crab, beef empanada, stuffed potatoes, The Miami Cuban, and a Homemade Croquette. Everything was delicious, but I definitely recommend the stuffed potatoes and the empanadas.

The Miami Cuban sandwich made me taste colors and see sounds. My sons response was that S**t was good! and that place does it right! I cant Scobey doo this place enough.

This is a must if you are in the area. Can't say enough about the service. After a rough travel experience getting to Florida. These ladies and their food made it feel like home. The atmosphere was very cool and cozy. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Nice little shops around there as well.

It’s so rare to see 5 stars across the board but this place earned it. Their service is top notch and I honestly cannot remember the last time I had someone be so attentive and friendly and just genuinely appreciate of customers. They really do live up to treating you like family as the sign says. And the food is SO good! Like homemade by grandma good. Can’t wait to go back!

This is probably the best tasting food and customer service I've ever had. The food was full of flavor and the owners were so personable. We live an hour and a half away but will go out of our way to come back here.

Cute little place in downtown Bartow. The people there are super nice, especially the older lady. Feels less like a restaurant and more like your best friend's mom cooking for you. I got the Chicken Salteado (pictured right), and my partner got the Ropa Veja (pictured left) and a chicken empanada. Super flavorful, the beef and chicken were so tender. I had to substitute vegetables for rice due to medical issues, and it's really nice to have a place treat it like food instead of an afterthought. Also, the cortadito makes life feel a lot better

Small mom and pop shop. Had the steak sandwich on cuban bread with everything on it and added a homemade vinaigrette dressing to it. Unfortunately I couldn't get to eat it for an hour or so but it being room temperature it was excellent. Great flavor and again only got to eat half of it at the time. Tried saving it for later (dinner) and apparently my son liked it enough that he ate my dinner. 😂 Lol If you like Guava, you have to get their guava cheese empanada!!! It's homemade and outside is covered in cinnamon.... YUM!!! I've been wanting to visit her many times but I've always been by when it's closed. This place is a must try for lunch. From the second you walk in you know your going to get some good food. The walls are decorated with cool stuff, the place is clean, and the atmosphere promises a good time. We came during a slow time and were taking care of immediately. The waiter was super friendly and cool. He cracked jokes and made great recommendations for food. The steak sandwich was amazing, the Yuka … not so much! Anyways, I plan on coming back!

We were looking for something different to try and went to Havana Delights Cafe & Catering in Bartow. I had the cuban with ana beef empanada, son had the midnight and empanada, hubby had the thin top sirloin. I have to say that's the best Cuban I've had. The bread was authentic and very flavorful. The steak was a huge serving with vegetables. Definitely will go back.

Found this place a year ago. Loved it so much we made a special trip out here on this year's Florida trip. Shredded beef was outstanding!

Came for a quick bite to eat. Great staff, great food and even though I gave the atmosphere 4 stars (a bit like an old diner feel), the people working there make everything 5 stars

I love love love this place I used to eat Cuban food all the time when I was a kid and it tastes exactly like it anytime I have to come in there and pick up an order for work they always give me a little something to snack on or they'll let me order something for free the owners are amazing I hope they stay there for a very long time because they don't make people who care about their customers the way they do anymore

Want good food that will wake up your taste buds? This is the place and not far off Hwy 17 on Main St downtown Bartow. We parked on the street. Hubby had Senor Sausage Sandwich aka chorizo! Bread was so fresh and chorizo was so flavorful. I had a Cuban. Version of tuna salad with cilantro, onion, tomato on Cuban bread - delicious!!! Highly recommend- everyone was so kind and helpful. Please give it a try.
