Hands down the best BBQ in cobb county for sure. I mean the the staff is excellent and they greet you with a sample of deliciousness as you walk in the door...I live in Dallas,ga and somehow I've made the trip to Herbs 3 times this week. My Go To meal is the Rib tips ,greens and mac & cheese and thats Highly recommend. Oh and the sauce is made in house.

The ribs are falling off the bones lol seasoned well. Chicken could use a lil seasoning under the skin greens are good bake beans are ok and the potato salad was good. Our first time there we were able to sample the ribs they have other stuff on the menu but I ordered the chicken dinner. 13.99 they are a little skimpy on the veggies. The service was ok seemed a lil impatient they have a couple of bar tables with stools around the wall but no where to just go in with your family or friends to sit and dine in.

This place amazing. It's delicious and local. Not overrated and the prices to die for. The staff were nice and the owner is there to meet you at the door. The cook amazing, and when I tell you they let me sample alot even when I told them nomore and I made a purchase. Definitely coming back 💯💯

Our first time there. Everyone was very professional very courteous and full of smiles. Great ribs and everything, great collard greens ,great baked beans. Even with all the greatness of the evening the best part was the 99 food score.. That says a lot. This place is a great asset to the community. I highly recommend

It was better when the business was under the tent on austell road....now the meat sits for however long.. until it sell.....imo...also, the food warm semi warm....what happened to good hot food?...and,the sauce was much spicier than I remember...I was VERY disappointed

Harry on professional how you guys operate on 4th of July I come and I see a customer leaving out you locked the door 2 customers come up which is me and a lady and you let the lady in with her husband that came up after me and when I knocked at the door you ignored me I will never trust and believe return to your establishment again that is crazy

Hands down the best ribs in town. Scale back on the crushed red pepper flakes. Lil spicy for the kiddos.

This the only go-to place for ribs. Herb's serves the best ribs and each time you walk in the door you're offered a sample. I left GA in 2021, however, I return twice a year, every year just for the ribs. I will not return home without ribs. Whenever I purchase for myself, I always purchase a slab for a family member/friend as a treat. Once they taste the ribs, the next question is when are you going back to ATL? The taste, tenderness and quality of the meat hasn't failed me yet. Driving the 4 1/2 hours to pick up ribs from Herb's Rib Shack is worth the time and gas! I always purchase 2 slabs for our home because I will freeze some of the ribs for later. Yes, I have several eating places that I go to, but Herb's Rib Shack is my only place for slabs of ribs.

Stumbled across this place and got the rib plate with Mac and cheese and green beans. Upon first walking in, i was offered free samples of the ribs but i was already sold. The meat falls off the bone, the Mac and cheese was seasoned and creamy and the green beans had a smoke flavor with shredded pork. The service was immaculate and the cashier up front let me the know the price of EVERYTHING before i even made a purchase. Food came out nice and fast and was hot and they even gave us free chicken just because why not. Overall experience was an 11/10 and it seems like it’s family owned. Go support a local business. Will be coming back. I don’t even write reviews…

Terrible! I asked for Mac and I received potato salad. I don’t eat mayo and I really had a taste for the Mac and beans combo. The baked beans tasted like pork and beans with hot dogs added. My ribs were not tender. These reviews must be from friends because this is certainly not it. I will not order again.

I always order the rib tips. Never miss! Ypu know it"s good when it just come off the bone. Don't need BBQ sauce. So seasoned good! We had family from put of town, they wanted BBQ! We went to new location it's nice. More room outside eating area with music. Service was good also.

When I tell you this BBQ is the best I've had in a long time. No SAUCE needed! The flavor is unmatched! The customer service is great and there is hardly any wait time for your order (unlike some places that have you waiting a long time). The Rib tips are immaculate, and they give you a free sample when you walk in. A+++. I have found my go to spot. No need to try any other!

When u do ribs RIGHT, NO SAUCE NEEDED!!! And....let me say, NO SAUCE WAS NEEDED 🚫 💯💯💯 The sides....ummmm, took 1 star away from the green beans and baked beans. They were OK. I just prefer a different taste, so don't take my review of those sides to much to heart. I will oder again or go by!! 😋

So far the best BBQ I have had in Georgia. I have only been to two places so far.A spicy rib that's tender and the potato salad is to die for. Bake beans thumps down but again I have been told that Georgia people like the Campbell's pork n beans taste.

I don't know where to begin with Mr Herb's Rib shack. The food was the best barbecue I've had since I've relocated to Georgia in May. I'm a person who loves flavor. The flavor at this place is amazing. We ordered the full rack of ribs with rib tips and a chicken plate. As I walked in, Mr Herb was outside relaxing, watching his massive grill cook. You can see the smoke upon arrival and smell the flavor. Mr Herb greeted every customer and thanked them for coming. When I walked in, I was greeted by the staff, and one of them members came and gave me a sample without me even asking. They had me at the sample. It was so Damn good. It was a rib tip. FYI, the barbecue has a little spice to it. For desert, I got sweet potato pie 🥧 and my brother got peach cobbler. They were both delicious like my mom makes. This place was amazing and I will be back very soon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to this establishment. You won't regret it. My food was hot and I only waited about 6 minutes for my food. Amazing, flavorful experience and great customer service. I spent $75.00 with Tip. We ordered the full rack of ribs with rib tips for $35, a chicken plate with 2 sides, $14, sweet potato pie, $8, peach cobbler, and $8.

It was difficult giving this restaurant four stars because when you pull up the smokers outside are very intriguing. The indoor atmosphere doesn't really have anywhere for you to sit down so you have to grab the food and go. And the reason that I scored a three-star on the food is I realize the name says rib shack but I figured with all those smokers there would be turkey or chicken breast slices.

There's a lot that I could say about Herb's Rib Shack..... And I'm going to say it ALL! There's a level of professionalism that Mr. Herb exudes to his customers that shows he's extremely proud of his business. The attention to detail that he gives to his food is top tier. While you're waiting for your food, he provides a free sample of rib sips to the customers in line. And let's not forget the staff! Friendly, courteous, kind and they always greet you with a smile. I highly recommend Herb's Rib Shack for any occasion! You won't regret it!

I'm a long way from home and Mr. Herbs BBQ takes me back home everytime I get a plate. This is some real authentic BBQ if I say so myself. Reminds me of my dad on the grill.

The ribs were on point, some of the best ribs that I had in a while. The sides were very good as well. The only thing that could of been improved is the chicken, it was not as juicy as I would of hoped but not bad nonetheless.

It's not as good as it was when they opened the first year... they have been going down since....

I absolutely love the barbecue ribs! You can smell the aroma from blocks away! The staff is very nice.

Free samples. This is a hidden gem. The food has a southern vibe. Really tasty. I stop in every Sunday before the church crowd. Can be a bit pricey but the food is great.

The service and the food is really good here. The restaurant itself is small, but it has a few tables and chairs if you want to eat there. We got our food to go. The ribs were very tender and spicy, but good spicy, not unbearable. The collard greens and mac n cheese were good as well. My only complaint is they didn't have (or I didn't see any) any to go sauce cups. They had bottles of sauce on a table to put sauce on your ribs, but I would have preferred to put the sauce in a sauce cup instead of directly on the ribs.

Herbs Rib Shack is a very good spot to hit up if you looking for some good BBQ. I venture over here like twice a week. I would HIGHLY recommend this spot to EVERYONE. I tell my neighbors and co workers all the time.

Wow, this was our first time at Herb's and it was a pleasant experience. We ordered the full slab ribs since they were out of the pulled pork. The ribs were juicy, well done and full of meat. The BBQ sauce was unique and that was the taste enhancer. It's worth a try and you will not be disappointed.

Was passing by and had to stop and give them a try. The ribs are AMAZING!! They really don’t even need sauce. The green beans were ok, I’ll try more sides next time.

Best ribs!! We drive over an hour to get Herb's Ribs!

The ribs at this place are truly outstanding and will undoubtedly keep you coming back for more. One fantastic aspect is that they offer free samples. Whether you opt for the half slab or the rib plate, the portions are generously satisfying. One suggestion I have is to consider adding brisket to their menu, as I believe it would be a fantastic addition. The only drawback is that they are only open from Thursdays to Sundays; otherwise, I would definitely be there more often.

Great food, I mean it’s truly amazing how good it is. BUT THERE IS A WOMEN THERE WITH DREADS EXTREMELY RUDE THERE. She is usually in the back from what I seen today , & Out of All my times here I’ve never seen her. I’ve always been able to call in. & I’ve even spoken with the owner directly who took my order and we exchanged greats words. He’s an awesome guy, But today really put a bad taste in my mouth. With the service provided. I wasn’t even given a free sample. Which I didn’t notice until. I realize that’s a staple at this place they ALWAYS give samples. But I called the lady out and she felt the need treat me rude. Just an opinion, still great food.. not so great service as of now.
