Best Cuban cafe in town. Great food and friendly staff.

This place was so amazing!! The guava pastry was my absolute favorite! Probably better than some of the ones I had in Miami! The lady working there was super nice! 10/10 recommend 🩵

Sitting on their back porch right now in gorgeous weather eating their delicious Pan Con Lechón. The girl working the counter was so sweet and made great recommendations. Food is fantastic, hubs loved the coffee and the fried plantains are delicious!

Beautiful little hidden gem with a gorgeous outdoor area too. The people who work here are the nicest people!! They were helpful and you could tell that they love their jobs. They even gave us suggestions on other things to do in the area, gave my boyfriend a sticker to add to his water bottle and let us sample their lentil soup (which was delicious!) I wish I had taken photos of the food - we tried several different things and all were top notch…. A croqueta sandwich, which was so unique, and some really yummy maduro plantain balls stuffed with cheese. Rico!! We will be back when in the area - loved the ambiance here and the employees and the food, so an overall 5 star rating!!

Hola is super friendly and we have always enjoyed their food and coffees. We are local and have loved Hola for many years. It’s a must try!

The best Cuban I’ve ever tried!

I lived in Miami for 8 years and missed this level of love put into Cuban food. Everything was fresh and wonderful. They packaged every pastelito with care. Can't wait to eat them throughout the day since I bought so many. :) Thank you so much, Hola!

I absolutely love Hola Cuban! The staff are great. Very friendly and I especially love that Emily remembers my order whenever I stop in! Best coffees on the island, and their Cuban sandwich is top notch! Dog friendly patio is a huge plus too.

Wish there were an option for 6 stars. We eat at Hola any chance we get and never get tired of it. The cheese pastelitos omggggg, empanadas, iced cafe con leche with sugar. 💖💖💖

We always go to Hola when we're in town. My favorites are the cheese pastelito, ham croquettas, chicken and beef empanadas, and the cafe con leche (iced). The Cuban and medianoche are also delicious!

Food was splentastic!!!!!!!! Fairly priced and I had a bottled coke along with my meal. Loved it.

Hola has a variety of delicious Cuban foods, from Empanadas to the best Cuban sandwich I've ever eaten. The owners have made it a very welcoming spot for food, drinks, conversation. I especially like the large patio.

AMAZING!!!! Please, do not pass up this gem! We found them on our very last day..literally- we are heading to the airport after our lunch here. While I am upset I didn’t find them sooner, I’m thrilled we found them nonetheless! I work in New York, where there is no shortage of amazing, flavorful, foods but I will say, Hola Cuban Cafe is right up there for both my husband and I. I had the Mojo Pork Completa- generous portions of roasted shredded pork that literally melts in your mouth chock full of flavor. My husband, the Pan con Lechon pressed sandwich which he nearly finished. It was so good, we hope to take it on the plane! Finishing our meal with the Dulce de Leche Empanadas, Happy and Full!

I loved the service and attention from the entire staff. The food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the area where they are located. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island.

This is a gem of an eatery. The atmosphere was conducive to a great dining experience. The Cuban sandwich was the "Real Deal!" We found it to be true to the authenticity of a genuine Cuban sandwich. The availability of a Hatuey Malta beverage was a perfect match for the sandwich.The staff was friendly, and the outdoor seating was superb. We were so impressed that we visited twice during our brief stay.

The owner of this reasturant is awsome. We had cubin sandwiches and WOW they were good. We will be back for another cabin sandwich.

I can’t say enough good things about this amazing cafe! When we go to Fernandina, we eat here basically every day. It’s our favorite restaurant, so we’re always excited to go there if we’re in town! The papas rellenas are the absolute best! They’re bite sized and just perfection, as is everything here! The staff is so friendly and it’s a great spot for grabbing something to go or sitting in the cute courtyard!

During my vacation in Fernandina Beach I visited this place where you can have an exquisite Cuban coffee, some sweet AND savory delicacies And the best thing is that they speak Spanish 😉

We stopped to have two croquettes to hold us over for dinner, and we took them to the charm g outside patio. They were the worst we’ve ever had, tasted like they had been sitting there for days. PS We’re Cuban!

We stopped by this quaint Cuban Cafe after a boat tour on Ameila River Cruises and we had the Cuban sandwich, one on Cuban bread and one one sweet bread. Both were absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try something different!!

Love this place! We stopped in on our way through town and we are so glad we did. The food was so good and flavorful. Kids got the Cuban sandwiches, we got the media noche. The bread was crispy and delicious. We got yuca fries, tostones, maduros.. all were delicious and fresh! To wrap it up we got cafe con leche, super strong and delicious and you can’t leave with out trying a pastelito, guava and cheese please 💕the service was also unmatched. Helpful, friendly, make this a must stop when you hit Amelia island 🙌🏽

Delicious authentic Cuban food! Reasonably priced and filling.

Old school plastic styrofoam cups give this an authentic 80s vibe! If you're like me and have not seen a white styrofoam cup in 20 years, you are in for a treat. Straight from cheap gas stations and church potlucks, you'll get a chance to try this legendary, single time use, straight to the landfill take away cup!

We had a great lunch out on the porch. Longish wait for food , but food tasted wonderful.

This is a nice quaint Cuban restaurant. Limited seating but there is also outside seating as well. Servers were friendly and helpful. We had the Cuban sandwich. It was outstanding. The pork was moist, flavorful with perfect seasonings. And the sandwich is huge, enough to share. Also tried the Yuca Fries. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Great place to grab authentic Cuban food.

Haven't been able to stay for food yet, but the espresso is excellent. Emily up front is exceedingly friendly and helpful. The food has always looked exceptional and I can't wait to stop in for lunch some day soon. Indoor dining is a very quaint spot and the patio is picturesque.

Incredible Cuban food! The sweet plantain fritters were unreal, we also really enjoyed the pan de lechón and beef empanadas. The coconut water was so good we got some more cans to go. Highly recommend!

We came to Ferdendina Florida to a place called Hola Cuban cafe. We had the Cuban sandwich, ham croquettes, and yuca fries with a sauce. Everything was excellent, I felt like I was back in Cuba when I was a kid. If you want some authentic Cuban come to Hola’s, you won’t regret it.

Is the good good? YES. I’d it worth waiting 45 min for a Cuban sandwich? Depends on how much you value your time. They need more staff!

Best coffee I've ever had. Cuban was amazing!

Anyone visiting Amelia Island should look this place up. My pastry was delicious and the Cuban coffee was an experience.

First time eating Cuban sandwich (tavern ham, slow roasted pork, swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard on Cuban bread), and I am now a believer. The sandwich was made with love. Tried the Papa Rellena - mashed potato balls stuffed with beef filling. Nice addition to the Cuban sandwich. The only reason why I rated a 4 was due to the pork empanada. I'm not a fan. Way too much vinegar and pickle taste, which overpowered the pork. They also offered a ham, egg, and cheese, which is most likely better. I 100% recommend this Cuban restaurant. Next time, I want to try the Cuban coffee and pastries. Give them a try!

Truly loving everything about this coastal cafe. Service and atmosphere leads you to a great experience no matter what you order. The coffee is strong but a delight over ice on a hot and humid day.

Nothing like a good Cuban coffee near by. Our visit to this little place was amazing, the service was super cozy and even the owner stopped by to say hi and ask about the service. Coffee was delicious, the beef empanada were super tasty too, and the vibe was just right.

A must visit restaurant! Definitely the Best Beef Empanada I have ever tried. Coming all the way from Miami, this little place surprised me how delicious and authentic everything was. Probably the best Cuban sandwiches I have tried. The sandwiches were just perfect, not falling apart and so tasty! Crockettes, Empanadas, Yuca, Sweet plantains and colada! Everything was made with love! Staff - Greeted us with a smile! Food runner brought the food with a smile! Little things, but they really matter! Muchas Gracias!

A visit to Fernandina Beach is not complete without a stop at Hola Cuban Cafe! Empanadas (with dynamite mojo sauce), pastelitos, papa rellanas...and of course some Cuban coffee. Everything about this place is awesome: the food, the smiling faces, and the cozy atmosphere.

Great spot for a quick lunch and snack. Espresso was exceptional. Would definitely come back again. The Cuban sandwich, Cuban grilled cheese, and beef croquettes were particularly good. The beef empanada wasn't my favorite, but it was a matter of personal taste and wasn't a reflection of the quality.

Our only disappointment was there were no breakfast sandwiches with eggs available at 9AM. We enjoyed our Cuban sandwhich. The bread was delicious and filling. Bonus: got to eat the rest the following. It would be nice to have condiments available. Hot sauce, mustard, maybe some sort of traditional sauce

This is a counter service model - order at the counter and she makes your coffee and gathers your food right there. There's no server or any other interaction while you enjoy the food/drink on the patio. When we arrived there was a small line, but I can see how this place can get a line out the door pretty easily. All that said, she was fast and friendly. We recommend the pork empanada and Cuban coffee. The patio is a beautiful and relaxing place to chill while you sip your morning wakeup juice. We had a wonderful breakfast here this morning! Great food and a nice courtyard to sit. I don’t think I’ve ever had fresh guava and it was very nice. I’ve heard good things about the lunch here, too! Update 2022: Ate here twice on this trip and again everything was great. We tried a sampling of all the breakfast pastries and everything was a hit. Also had an Iron Beer that hit the spot.
