Personal hometown breakfast cafe.. Food is amazing and the atmosphere draws you to an era of New York style baseball eatery at its finest... Breakfast menu is for any age, while the lunch menu allows you reflect on the days when everything you ordered was always a great choice... No disappointment just good Ole southern hospitality... Family Owned and Family strong.... I personally recommend this Cafe to try....

New favorite breakfast place in town. We typically go to IHOP, but have been searching for a mom and pops again in Lake Placid, and found this little gem.

Great food and atmosphere. Other than the bathroom ceiling, everything was perfect! Service was excellent. My coffee was fresh and always refilled.

Have been there several times and the food and service is always great. Their home made bagels are amazing. A local family owned small business that deserves to be supported. Their prices are extremely reasonable. My personal hope is eventually they are able to secure a bigger space with more tables. They fill up quickly during season. Keep the great work!

Quaint town for a stop to have breakfast or lunch. Waitress is very friendly and food is good.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere even though it's small was great. I've been there 2 times and each time the young lady that works. There is very. Is it an unobservant as to what the customer wants? She doesn't listen when you give your order. You have to keep repeating it. And she never comes back for coffee and she sits at the counter. And plays with the phone. So I think you need a new wachris.The gentleman that was there.I gave Him a tip that was supposed to be Hers because he really took care of us.And I appreciate that.So the food is excellent.The atmosphere's excellent, but you need help with that server.Other than that I hope to see you expand and we'll be back

Excellent food, great management, great menu items

My daughter and I had a few minutes to spare this morning. So we decided on this little gem! Service was fast and great! Our server was attentive, fast, and was pleasant. The food was cooked to perfection! My only complaint is for myself for not coming in sooner! We will definitely be back! You can’t beat the price either. I love when restaurants are reasonable, and Home Run is all that and more.

Small, homey and friendly. The food is great and the price is reasonable. Great desserts! Open 6 am to 2 pm every day, and you can order breakfast or lunch at all times. Bagels are made here daily!

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast. The pancakes and eggs were delicious and cooked perfectly. The home fries had a delicious seasoning.....If you're in the area don't hesitate to eat here.

I ordered a steak breakfast sandwich on a grilled everything bagel. It was fabulous. We will definitely be going back to this little gem. Can't wait to try other items on their menu.

Just went to have breakfast for the first time. A blonde waitress first words was “ it’s going to be a while”. Not good morning , how many! Then while we stood and waited, a guy waiter said “ it’s going to be a good half hour, no I’m serious. So we will never be back. Maybe a little help, say good Morning, how many. Just want you to know it could be up to a half hour. Be nice and smile. It is a small town…. Word travels.

“Triple D” worthy breakfast! We highly recommend the Home Run (biscuits and gravy) and the RBI ( Omelet style eggs with your choice of meat, veggies and cheese. Served with perfectly seasoned home fries.) You will not be disappointed!

Everything we go to this restaurant the food is better. So far, the best place in Highlands County for breakfast. I would love to try lunch but so full from this morning I won't eat til dinner. Great desserts and fresh bagels.

My first time, awsome ! Eggs were perfectly cooked, bacon was not burnt to a crisp like most do it was like a fine piece of meat justlike it should be. And the girl that waited on us was awsome and nice. That was one of theee fiinnnest breakfasts I've ever had.

I really enjoyed my 1st visit and will definitely go back. I went for breakfast, the omlet was very good but their fried potatoes were a home run for me!! The restaurant is clean, and the staff are friendly. They made sure to check on us to make sure we had all we needed.

Absolutely amazing place to sit with the family and have a great meal. The service and staff are phenomenal. They go above and beyond to make sure everything it perfect. Food is made fresh to eat and the DESSERTS!! Absolutely delicious. Cannolis, Cupcakes, Rolled Ice Cream, etc. what else can you ask for. 10/10 recommended. Stopped here Monday with our eleven year old grandson. We were all impressed with our wonderful sandwiches, we had the burger, Ruben and ribeye sandwich and they were delicious as were the French fries. As we were leaving our server brought our grandson a toasted bagel to go because she had heard him mention a bagel. My grandson was so impressed with her kindness! Thank you for teaching this young man a great lesson.

Small family run. Excellent servers. Food was average but you know it's fresh because you see them cooking it. Don't go if if the owners Mother comes in behind you. We were waiting for a table just like her and she told us which table she would be taking and was seated before us. Everyone was otherwise friendly and working hard. I had a burger that was cooked right but average in taste. Husband tried the rolled ice cream for dessert, YUM
