Perfect food perfect price friendly people

Glenda Jeans is my favorite place to eat breakfast or lunch in Lake Placid, FL. The food is always good and fresh. The portions are large. It's a local family ran diner. You are treated like a friend from the moment you walk in the door. If you're in the area stop in for a meal or just some ice cream. Also the desserts are made fresh daily.

Stop here on a road trip. Food is bland, no flavor. Potatos had a weird texture. Service was meh. Prices not great

It was our first time here and we absolutely loved everything. The staff were welcoming and checked in on us often. The food we ordered was perfectly cooked and tasty. They also had an ice cream station and their own homemade cinnamon buns. We are not big sweet people but I will definitely bring my grandkids in for that. We look forward to going back and trying breakfast.

Wonderful little hometown diner! Apparently, it's popular with the locals and visitors to the area as well. We were lucky to have used Google to learn about it. Our waitress was great. When there was a slight delay in our food prep, she apologized and kept checking on us. (They had a rush, and customers were VERY willing to stand and wait for a table to become available). Food was delicious, fresh, hot, and homemade. Next time we go, I want to try one of their cinnamon rolls...they look amazing! Due to the minor delay in getting our meal, our server discounted our bill...which earned her a larger tip. She was great!

This used to be one of our favorite places to ear but the last couple times we've been there the food has been mediocre at best & the usual friendly service has gone dramatically downhill.

My favorite restaurant in town! Food is always yummy and the fries are so crispy! Seating is limited because the place is small but we have luckily never had to wait. Also has a few outside tables. Only downside - they are only open for part of the day. I would LOVE for them to have dinner hours too.

👍 all around for Glenda Jeans. Clean, cute, and kitschy interior and patio. Several specials each day. The Eggs Benedict are to die for with homemade hollandaise sauce. I highly recommend. The stellar service is what did it for me. We frequent lots of diners and Glenda’s is now at the top of my list.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Have to try their waffles. They put cinnamon in them and they are the best waffles you will ever eat. Only problem here are the prices. Makes it tough when you are retired and on a budget.

Great burgers and chicken. Special offer on burgers Wednesday lunchtimes good value. Friendly service in a small cafe style place. Clean restroom. Couldn't ask for more.

We love this place but rarely go bc their prices have went above what we want to pay. We can eat elsewhere cheaper and same quality food. Still a great clean friendly place
