My son and I had a delicious lunch together. We enjoyed soup with chicken salad and a patty melt. Tea was a delight. Atmosphere was purple and pretty. All the tables decorated beautifully. We were told pick a table.

It shouldn't take 2 hours to get your lunch when you have reservations. The food was unremarkable and the service was terrible. They couldn't handle a full restaurant. Hire people you can depend on!

Quality fresh food in a lovely “Tearoom” atmosphere! Good portions. Everything was delicious! Worth the price for sure for the quality of food!

The best service in town! Went on 2/27 for a lunch with a friend and what an amazing meal we had! Our server was so attentive and explained the menu and teas so well. We felt like we were at a 5 star resort as the service was impeccable! We had their signature tea which was so yummy. We ordered the tea tray definitely a must have experience! Can’t wait to go back! -10/10!!!

I just want to say how much we enjoyed this Tea Room! It is very unique with a great atmosphere! The food was all excellent !! Our service was great also! If you havent tried it, you are missing out!!

We had a large gathering for a birthday party. I was impressed with the lovely dining room and the food was excellent! The owner came out to check on us and we enjoyed speaking with her. They are trying to branch out to Friday and Saturday evenings meals. Well worth your time to try a meal here.

We had an amazing time! This, he was absolutely delicious as well as the sandwiches and desserts. They had hats for us to wear during our tea experience! The experience was amazing. The atmosphere was gorgeous, and the service was impeccable!!

Another wonderful evening at the Purple Iris Tea Room and what a real treat open Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-8 pm and even includes live music. What a real treat for Lake Placid!!!

What a great place. The food was so good! We had the special, the Monte Cristo, it came with a cup of soup and salad. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the different teas. Don't leave without having a piece of homemade cheesecake.

What a pleasant afternoon. My daughter had come over from West Palm Beach and asked me if we could go and grab a bite to eat here in Lake Placid. I informed her that most of the places were closed because it was almost 2 PM but I had heard of the new tea room in town and asked her if she would like to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. There were just a few customers inside as they were closing at 3 PM and we were treated to a wonderful lunch. The staff was just incredible and friendly and very informative, as well as engaging. I ordered the special which was a shrimp pasta that came with a broccoli and cheddar cheese soup as well as a nice side salad. My daughter ordered the tea tray assortment and we both opted for a fresh hot pot of tea. The tea was shared and was absolutely delicious, while all of the food was wonderful. We had such a nice afternoon as it rained outside and beat down on the metal roof. we were also treated to a harpist who occasionally picked up his violin and gave us some wonderful songs. He engaged us as well and we had another delightful conversation. Dessert was a homemade cheesecake that was nice and creamy. Very yummy and topped with blueberries. Pricing was in line with a typical tea room, which is a little bit higher than a normal lunch, but this was well worth it for the experience. I hardly recommend this for anyone looking for a nice change of pace in the town of Lake Placid. #stevensleavin

Wonderful experience. The food and service were exceptional.

Took my mom for a late lunch. We were able to be seated right away. They recommended the purple Iris tea and we both agreed it was delightful. Sweet but not too sweet. Had the chicken salad sandwich which came on a croissant so yummy and creamy! We ended with a strawberry cheesecake that was out of this world!!! You can tell everything is made fresh and with love. Highly recommend for your next girls outting!

There were five of us in a group. We had wonderful service and food. Will be returning for another afternoon tea.

Brought my wife there for 35th anniversary luncheon. Outstanding service, wonderful food, and terrific ambiance. Met the owner, Faye, and she too was a delight. We intend to be there on a regular basis.

This was the first time I visited here and my granddaughter and I had an awesome time! The atmosphere is fantastic. The food was very good and the tea was phenomenal. What a great time we had for a lunch date. I had the chicken salad sandwich on croissant and my granddaughter had the turkey sandwich both were delicious. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family!

I called 10 days about making reservations for the day before Mother’s Day, and was told they only took reservations for parties of five or more and to just come in that day. We went down there at noon. They were fully booked, but the gracious hostess and proprietor found us a table and we enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day tea. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend this tea room.
