I've loved this place for years. I went in today for a to-go meal. The lady who worked at the front counter was extremely rude and rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a container for sauce. Most of the warmers were empty and there was few options that looked fresh. The chicken was very dry and had been sitting out for hours by the looks of it.

Food was a little below avgerave, but the staff made up for it they where quick and nice.

Great selection of Chinese and American foods. It is kept well stocked and portions for take out are Big. Never have been disappointed by any of the options I have tried.

Food was ok, but didn't make up for it how bad the place was kept. A 8 year-old told us to sit wherever we wanted but all the tables had used dishes on them. The floors were a mess.

15.00 buffet a little bit expensive ok food lots of onions

I did delete my previous review but decided to put it back on here because the owner saw the person that was with me several times and confronted her regarding my previous review and was very rude. She had nothing to do with this. In fact the owner should have confronted me instead of the person I previously ate lunch there with. The food is ok but an excessive amount of onions, more onions then meat, and the potatoes are always saturated in oil. They are bad about picking up the dirty dishes from the tables and the bathrooms are solely in need of some attention. Hopefully the owner, which is the lady behind the counter, treats her customers better and with more respect, otherwise she'll be losing more customers.

This buffet has delicious food that's always warm and fresh, they have wonderful friendly staff as well. The restaurant is clean and the seating is comfortable. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Small buffet warm food, left my stomach feeling less than stellar but I didn't end up with food poisoning. Maybe it was less than fresh but warm idk 🤷‍♀️ Changing table is ridiculously high in the bathroom or wasn't easy to use and it's placed where it blocks someone from getting on and out of the stall

Pretty sketch. Place run down and dirty. Much of the food was barely room temperature. Thankfully, we didn't get sick.

Not too bad a place. Physically, the place is Def. Worn out, so if that bothers you, then go elsewhere. Food was pretty solid. The cashier seemed as though they were no more than 12 y/o, so pretty sure this is a family run business who have their children work there.

Don’t let the outside deceive you, all food was hot, service was outstanding and friendly.

It's a great goto place if you can't really decide what you want. They do an awesome job of keeping everything stocked.

We got there late so we weren't expecting much. It was 8:40 . The staff was extremely friendly and they asked if we wanted anything fresh put on the buffet. The food all had good flavor. The carpet in there look way past overdue to need replaced.

Always love this food. Crab ragoon cakes are the absolute best

Place is falling apart, bathrooms filthy with no hot water to wash hands, and the food was one step below mediocre. Buffet selections were not kept hot enough. The hostess was pleasant and that did not make up for the rest.

If you want to sit in a place with dirty tables and cold food, this is the place for you. The lady at the front desk was on her phone the whole time and there were dishes on over the tables and overpiling in the buffet area. It's disgusting, dirty, and not worth the price at all. Anywhere in nebraska city is better than here. I would rather eat caseys pizza than go here again.

To be honest I expected a whole lot better so I ordered shrimp fried rice 5 chicken wings and crab ragoons .the fried rice was ok but it kinda tasted on the burnt side. I had plenty rice but like 5 shrimp. The chicken wings were not good the only thing I liked was the crab ragoons. I won't go there again or reccomend it

Watch you're receipt they charge me almost 20$ more than it Saud on the receipt

Totally disgusted over charged noticed on my debit card receipt before we even left parking owner is rude not willing to help her daughter had a horrible attitude not the first time sleeve had trouble thought we Seoul’s give it another try and was wrong!!

This was an okay Chinese buffet. Not the cleanest place with sticky floors, dirty carpet, ripped chairs, and ripped booths, but the food was decent. Some of it was cold but there was at least a good selection and some things to go back for seconds on. The prices were reasonable and the option to carry out off the buffet was a good way to get some quick Chinese food for home.

We were hungry and we'd gone to Luigi's, but it wasn't open, then we stopped at The Warming Kitchen and they were closing down. So at 5:40 in the evening, we went for Chinese. The food wasn't very warm. We heated it in the microwave in the restaurant. The beef and mushrooms was mostly mushrooms. I don't think I got any beef. We should've gone to Valentino's if it's anything like the Valentino's we've been to before.

Stopped on way back to Omaha. Food was good, and numerous items to choose from. Reasonably priced. 1 complaint; There was a teenager taking care of cash register. She seemed more interested in her tablet than taking care of customers. No "thank you" either after transaction or when I was leaving.

Empty when we went in at 1 p.m. on a Tuesday; one person there when we walked out. Even though my friend tipped when we prepaid, the staff person totally ignored us and talked on the phone the entire time we were there. Food was fresh enough but old-fashioned, sticky, too-sweet, too-bland. I won't go again.

Lots of choices... Fresh and delicious

The Coco Shrimp was really good. Overall the food was delicious. The staff is quiet. The dishes and silverware were clean, important to check for buffets. The price was $25 for my 11 year old and I which seems high. The interior could use some TLC and new carpet. A lot of Seafood on this buffet, and it was all very good. Quite a bit of seating and not too crowded.

There are definitely times when the buffet food is best. I usually try to get there between 3-5 after that, there is a wait for the food to be prepared and refilled. I have never ordered an entree before but the buffet selection is pretty good and everything tastes great.

This buffet was a little more pricey than typical but it included many shrimp dishes that were all delicious. Being a buffet, there wasn't much "service" needed or expected but staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a bad experience the last time I went so was worried about going. But the food quality was great. Service was ok not above and beyond but pretty standard had to wait a while for crab ragoo but it was amazing.

My friends and I had trouble finding good restaurants in Nebraska City. The Hong Kong Buffet served well one night. The price was economical and the buffet had a lot of items, including some authentic dishes. i think just about anyone could create a pleasant meal there.

This place was extremely good. It's parking lot wasn't the best but, over all it was a good experience.

This place was so much better than I anticipated. I'm extremely pleased that me and my students decided to visit.

Note there is a Chinese restaurant directly across the street from this, it looks very run down, compared to the outward appearance of the Hong Kong. This didn't matter, even upon going inside and looking before we decided to eat the buffet looked hot and fresh and it was fairly clean. Then we got our food, it was shear disappointment from three on out. Crab Rangoon very undercooked, pepper chicken soggy, general tsaos chicken taste rubbery, sesame chicken was a little better, the seafood stuff was a little scary one item which should of been sweet tasted like warm mayonnaise. More than one time I spat food into a napkin it was that bad. We tried multiple items thinking surely we would find something that wasn't to bad it came down to chicken on a stick, it was edible. Most items had no taste or didn't not taste good at all. We paid $12 a person left there and went and grabbed a burger at Runza. if you are looking for Chinese in SE Nebraska don't' stop in Falls City, Auburn, or Nebraska city, I have had them all just keep driving until you hit Bellvue it is your best bet.

This is a Family Style Restaurant. It is Prepay and they Do accept Credit Cards. The Food Was Rotated often during my Stay. Beverage Glass is given to you when you Pay for Buffet. I believe it was around $11.50 for All you can Eat and Drink. .

The buffet has many good choices. A little pricey for Nebraska City, but understandable. If you are dieting, you will find something on this buffet and if you are not, you hit the jackpot.

The food was very good, but wasn't hot which frightened me just a bit. Customer service was not very good. It was a little cold in the restaurant. I very much enjoyed the lo mein and sweet and sour chicken. They know how to do Chinese for sure.

We love the food here and the owners are very nice, but recently we took guests who refused to eat here because the dining room carpet was so filthy, and the front appearance (litter against the front of the building, dirty entrance and remnants of what used to be outdoor carpet.) They said if it was that bad in customer areas they wondered what the kitchen was like. A little care and upkeep could make a big difference in this place and in the number of customers they have.

Was going to try the Mexican place with great reviews, but it was way packed, so drove down the road and saw this place. "Hong Kong Chinese Buffet" Super nice people running the place! Wide selection of chinese and american food. Hand dipped ice cream, much nicer than the soft serve so many of these places have. A couple of my dishes could have been much warmer, but the flavor was very good.

The people running the place are super sweet, and so willing to help. It is very clean and the restrooms are nice. The buffet has a wide selection of food and can make something's that you request. super flexible with bigger parties.
