First Time Visiting Huey Magoos And It Was Awesome...!!!

It's a chicken fast food place, tried it , maybe again

went into huey magoos and got there buy one get one meal and the lady Tyra who took care of my order was super friendly and nice they had great customer service worth the review!

This is the best chicken and hand cut fries! Their hand cut chips and spicy seasoning are delicious.

I entered the lobby today and there was no one behind the counter. I could see in the back. One young man was chatting with someone I couldn't see while chewing his nails. Another young man was walking around in the kitchen texting. I yelled to the back 3 times to try to get service only to be ignored. I took my business elsewhere.

Have heard good things about Huey Magoo's. First visit, won't be the last. Like the options on the tenders. Don't see grilled often. They are very good. The breaded ones are equally as good. Sauces are also very flavorful and portions are spot on. Service was fast and friendly. Good job!

I gave a 5 star because the staff was very polite, friendly, and had a welcoming feeling. The only issue I have is that everything didn't come in the meal..like the drink...of course I want something to drink... I'm eating breaded chicken and toast. Oh and if you just want one extra BBQ sauce they charge you 60 cents...not including tax. That's the kind of stuff you see being done at McDonald's....but they charge only a flat 30 cents.

Best grilled chicken sandwich I've had in a long time from a restaurant!! Cooked to perfection! I had mine topped with he sweet heat sauce which never disappoints. If you're hungry and you're driving by, I highly recommend swinging in to get a bite to eat. There chicken tenders are phenomenal as well.

Very good chicken, small slaw, crinkle fries. Bogo made it a great deal.

We dined at the Wildwood Huey Magoos, there was a small mixup and a delay on our order. The staff, mostly a younger group, went out of their way to apologize. They quickly got our order together, and walked it out to us. They even gave us discount coupons. We have had similar situations at OTHER restaurants lately, without an apology or I'm sorry. So great job to the Magoos gang! Thank you

i work right next to this amazing place! the manager knows how to take care of the customers! 5 stars for her. i love to eat here a lot! and the staff is really nice and understanding! 5 stars for the staff. thank you for feeding me Magoos! i will be back ASAP!!!!

Chicken is consistent awesome. People are the same awesome. I've never been inside. And the only reason this is not 5 stars is, can not use large bills to purchase.

The tenders were excellent. The service was a little slow especially considering they were not very busy.

We are faithful Magoo customers. I have always enjoyed the grilled options as they offer a healthier alternative to other fast food chains. The customer service has, at times, been a concern to me. Most of the time it’s great. A few times I have had employees talk back, or not show the courtesy that is common with other chains. I came close to bringing this to managements attention, but decided to let it go. Tonight, I cannot ignore: My girls, and I stopped in after a long day at the beach. We were tired and just wanted to grab a meal for us, and 2 other family members at home. I ordered 3-5 piece meals. I stated that I wanted 2 of the meals hand-breaded, and the other meal with the grilled chicken. After parking our car for 10 minutes, we got our food and left. Upon arriving home, the order was not correct. I called the store and made them aware of this. They said they would correct it but we would need to bring one of the meals to PROVE that we got the wrong chicken. REALLY?! The only PROOF needed was that my husband put his dinner aside to go 15 minutes out of his way to get the correct chicken. When he arrived they gave him the correct chicken but required him to give the incorrect chicken back to the store. There was no apology for his inconvenience. Super-poor service! My husband returned home and sat down to have his dinner which was no-longer fresh or warm. I am extremely disappointed in the service that we received tonight, enough to reconsider whether my family, and I want to continue to support your chain. This restaurant is in Wildwood, Florida.

Every time before always good service and food. Last two times not so much. Large red cream soda has been half full the past two times at this location. I know the workforce is lacking but come on man.

The food is good, but the customer service is the worst I have experienced in so long. Went through the drive-thru today, and the lady was so rude and seemed upset that I was even there. Her last name is Corbin. The management needs to do some customer service training. I would not recommend coming here there are plenty of good chicken places that will give you good customer service

Went in for early lunch. Service was ok. Good food

Poor customer service. Front counter person was abrupt and hard to understand. NO water working in the bathrooms. Staff was aware of the situation. Didn’t seem concerned.

Chicken fingers were good not great. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich. To be honest I thought while looking at the menu that it looked like a full piece. The sandwich was made with the chicken fingers. Also, a total mess.

We walked in and there was no one for awhile, when she did come to the counter she did say hi, fu or nothing just a look of what are doung here and get tf out was rude threw the whole transaction, was afternoon beginning of the week, will never come back because of her.

As i walked in to grab my mothers DoorDash order, i very politely let the young man Brody know that i was missing a drink, to which he very rudely grabbed the receipt and said that’s not what it says. I pulled out my phone and showed him the DoorDash order which showed 2 drinks and he still felt the need to argue that it was not on the receipt.

Visited on 12/20/2023 and did not have a positive experience. I contacted the location through the online form and spoke to a manager who was dismissive of my concerns. I brought to her attention the food was not as fresh as it had been previously. I also brought to her attention that an employee was sleeping with their head down in the dining room. She reiterated several times that they’re “family owned” as if that’s a satisfactory explanation for my less than positive experience. Needless to say I was not satisfied with this follow up response to my issues and won’t be returning after having previous positive experiences prior to this. Unfortunate.

Super surprised today with our meal at Huey Magoo's! Chicken was tender,fries were crinkle cut and delicious, cooked perfectly. The chicken salad was also top notch...this is a must try!

Good food, quick service. The place is freezing. Every person left the restaurant and sat at the tables outside. Bring a jacket.

Got a 3 tender meal and couldn't chew the tenders bcz of how dry they were. Took one bite and the tender was chewy and just stuck in my teeth. Had to get floss because it was so bad. Threw the whole meal away. Do not recommend going there.

Had a online order , paid for and everything and order was only supposed to take 10mins , and once order was done time was given saying complete! Arrived to the restaurant and waited 15mins for someone to even say anything to my husband, lady told him to get his food if it was there for pick up which is was not . He continued to wait another 10-15mins and ended up having to show proof of order which the lady ended up saying we never placed because they didn't get it . Mind you we showed proof that the order was received and completed , and that the order was charged to our bank account . She then proceeded to say that they would have to prepare the order but it would take awhile , after asking more questions and questioning the situation , so we waited 30mins for our order to actually be made . Order was originally supposed to be done at 7:52pm we did not recieve our order until almost 9pm , the lady who my husband dealt with wasn't rude but again nobody ever apologized for all the inconvenience we dealt with ! For the first time dining at this location wasnt a very good first experience 😩 all in all food was pretty good and fresh

I love the chicken there and I really miss working there

The chicken tenders here are out of this world. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The flavors were mouthwatering, and the dipping sauces were a delightful bonus. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

Completely unimpressed. Overhyped. Overpriced. The chicken honestly was pretty bland. The 5 sauce options are meh. The best thing by far was the Watermelon tea. The atmosphere is severely lacking. It's too industrial and very noisy. I didn't even think to take photos.

Jess, Charlie & Chew are the best! Great service and made sure everything was perfect. I love eating here and the food is always fresh! Will continue to come back regularly!

I work across the street at a care center and always need to find a yummy place for lunch. It’s always clean and staff are super friendly at this location. Jess and Charlie are very kind and quick, it’s nice when you are on a time restriction.

First time trying Huey Magoo’s and our family enjoyed it. You can get the tenders breaded, grilled or sauced. They also have wraps and salads. The staff was friendly and offered us an extra plate so we could share some food between our party. Store doesn’t have much seating inside, but do have a drive through or online order pickup inside.

Maya and Emily are two of the best workers here they are so welcoming and nice and made me feel at home they got my food read on time fresh and hot. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place those two ladies definitely made my night!

I loved the location in Lady Lake when it opened and was so excited once we got one by my work. To be fair, the first time we ate at this location when it opened our food was not up to standards that I’ve had before with Huey Magoos. BUT since the last two months, everything makes me believe otherwise. The quality of the food you’re getting is fresh- hence the prices, also this may be the reason it does take a while for your food to come out (even in the drive thru), so please be patient. You can definitely tell the difference between fresh and frozen. On top of everything, the manager at this location is super generous! Not once did she give me a free coupon, but also hooked my friend up with a nice treat for her birthday. Definitely give this place a shot.

Food was great, but it was freezing inside! Probably around 65 degrees.
