We got a 17.00$ hamburger that I’ve had better at McDonald’s. Please . We noticed every table, all 3 had ordered the fried chicken.?guess we made a mistake. My wife loved it

Lunch for two with just ice tea to drink came to $50 with tip. I had The Villages Grown Salad. It was 4 cucumber slices, 4 cherry tomatoes, watermelon radish sticks and lettuce for $16.95. No cooking of anything and it was more than my husband's meal. There was no protein, no cheese, not nuts, nothing extra. If you wanted to add protein that started at $6.00 driving up the salad cost to $22.95. My husband had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries it cost $15.95. The cost of the salad seems way over priced compared to a sandwich and fries that had to be cooked. Even the price of the sandwich and fries seems high. You could get it at other places for around $12. It's ashame because the restaurant was almost empty. It is one of the few options at this end of The Villages. We would go more often if the prices weren't so high for what you get. A lunch menu would be nice as well. But we probably won't be returning. Hard to afford a $50 lunch very often. It's cheaper and better to eat at one of the country clubs or even the higher end restaurants at the squares.

Indoor service is as expected. Outdoor service can be slow at times. Drinks are good.

Great food and service Jaxson and Hannah at the bar were amazing. Would highly recommend the Shepard pie on Wednesday is a real Shepard pie with lamb and was fantastic.

We enjoy Mcgradys for their happy hour and eat dinner their 50%of the time. Tonight we had the Happy hour Wings. They were bloody and rubbery. They apologized and refunded half of the price. That is an insult to regulars. Very disappointed with today's Management.

Another great visit. Michelle the bartender and server as well did a fantastic job making sure everyone was taken care of despite how busy she was. Kudos to Michelle 👍

The Fish and Chips use to be on an entrée plate. It is now in a french fry appitizer basket, which is hard to eat out of.

I wanted to address an incident that occurred last night at your Sawgrass location. Unfortunately, I had a verbal confrontation with another patron in the women's restroom and your waitress Tori was a witness. After exiting the handicap stall, I was met by two women, one who approached my daughter and I stating "For your information, handicap bathrooms are only for handicap people!" I was shocked and horrified, as my daughter is IN FACT disabled. I immediately defended myself saying "Thank you so much for that information but my daughter is 5yrs old and nonverbal autistic. I spent the last 20mins changing her diaper on the floor in that stall, so please think before you speak next time." I immediately walked out visibly upset and your beautiful waitress Tori followed me, apologizing and thanking me for keeping my composure. She reassured me that those women were not an accurate reflection on the establishment. Tori was so kind and made us all cry. My family and I are very grateful for Tori's professionalism. Thanks again!

Food wasn't bad nor the service what was horrible was the annoying flies couldn't eat peaceful will not go back

Beautiful decorated; loved the atmosphere.

The staff was polite, and friendly. The food prep was fantastic. You go for the ambiance though. It definitely makes you feel like you are somewhere else. It was a tad pricey but, worth the experience.

Mom’s first time here- won’t be her last! Food was great, our server Angie was the best :). We arrived earlier then what we reserved, and they were very accommodating. We sat inside, behind the bar at a high top- which is 1/2 inside and 1/2 outside. We enjoyed the music. But for Mom, the music coupled with loud talking was “too loud.” Next time she comes with us, we’ll request inside away from the open bar.

Great server. Food not so good: fish and chips had cold chips and soggy fish. The place was so terribly loud.

Have eaten there twice. Food: small portions and just average to go with being overpriced. Happy hour Beer and Wine only. Hard liquor overpriced. Doesn't offer any deals like the golf course restaurants and squares. Very little ambiance. A few of the male bartenders are very unfriendly, rude, don't smile or converse with patrons. Also disrespectful to senior citizens who help pay their salaries. I have seen other reviews which agree with this assessment and have talked to other people who have same complaints about the way they were treated by the bartenders Seem more like bouncers than bartenders. Very disappointed.

Really wish they have a small kid menu other than that it's a great place to go with all of the family

Have been so disappointed with McGradys this winter. Service is hit or miss. Food has mostly been a miss. Gave them another try now that things are settling down. Nope! Sat at the bar, bartender was in a horrible mood. Ordered an app that was delivered by kitchen staff. When we asked for plates, forks, napkins we were told that our bartender would take care of it. Yeah, right! He was in no hurry and our food was even colder by the time he set us up. Not re-upping my mug club in the fall! So disappointed 😔

We took a group of 24 here on Saturday night before Easter Sunday. We were given a room to ourselves. Even though they were busy, and Sawgrass Grove was busy, we had great service at McGrady‘s. It’s impossible for me to list what 24 people had to eat, but I can say all plates were empty when we finished. My only complaint and most of our party, was that the music is piped into the room. The music from the band playing in Sawgrass Grove. So it made it a challenge to have conversation at some points. However, when I mentioned that to the manager at the end, he told me it didn’t have to be piped in. Evidently they can turn it off. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. We had made a reservation. And we did get to our tables at the time of our reservation.

The place was probably at 50% capacity. Asked for a booth, the person acted like we were asking for the world. They needed to get glasses, silverware & napkins. Service, the lady was nice and did a good job. Food, I had the Cajan Chicken Sandwich. Absolutely the smallest chicken breast I have ever seen. Served is a hamburger bun and the breast could not even cover the bread. Taste was ok. My wife had the Grill Corned Beef Sandwich. She enjoyed it. She stole a few fries from me since the side dish of fries was very small. People we were with had some kind of beef sandwich. He said the beef was very tough and would never order it again. The place, surrounds were nice. Looked like a fun bar. But I'm not sure we will be back. Maybe I'll surprise myself.

Pricing for food quality and quantity was Extremely Poor! The Villages has Many better dining options.....

Good happy hour beer prices and the place looks nice. The service wasn't bad but the happy hour food prices and portion size is a joke. 3 little mushrooms per order of Ruben Mushroom and they were very bland and boring. Waitess said the wings on HH only have 3 per order.....for $7, nope.

Food was good to poor depending on what you got. Seating was awful. Not a place for a conversation. Philly steak sandwich was loaded with gristle. The place needs completion. If it had any it would go out of business real fast.

Went to try this Scottish Pub on a recent Friday night with my wife and her parents. Made reservations through Google because the system on the restaurant web page was a little confusing because it appeared to give me confirmation for another restaurant in the ownership group… Arrived at the restaurant at our scheduled reservation time and were seated immediately in the bar area, which we were ok with, but it is a little loud. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our server Tayna was super friendly and very attentive to our needs. I enjoyed a pint of their Scottish Ale. I had the fish and chips, and my white had the salad and added chicken. She commented that it was the best salad she has had in a long time. Her parents both ordered the Ruben sandwich…their only comment was that they are used to “shaved” corn been, but they both enjoyed their sandwich. The fish and chips were good. We will definitely return to try some of the other menu items. The large soft pretzel looked very good and will be on my list for next time.

The Cullen's chowder is gf and very good. Everything we ordered was good. I'd go back!

Just what you would expect for a good Irish Pub. The Scotch eggs were excellent.

I don't know what to say... This place is just absolutely awesome! The food is something you would want someone to say at your last rights and the drinks are delicious! Had Nicole made an espresso martini that was just fabulous! The corn beef sandwich is something you will dream about even after you wake up... Damn was it tasty! Come here because you will definitely not be disappointed. FYI, the way they pour Guinness is just spectacular!

Scottish restaurant that's not big on serving Scottish food...same as going to an Italian restaurant and serving no Italian food...make it make sense.

Finally, a place in the villages who know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness! I'm a sucker for a good pint of Guinness and finding one outside of Ireland is hard enough. I'm glad that I can find one in this area! The food is fantastic as well!

There were four of us and we had lunch on the terrace on Sunday. 2x fish and chips, 1x mussels and 1x Indian curry chicken.....all absolutely delicious 😋 and recommended. On Saturday evening we only ordered beers 🍻 and wine 🍷 with an appetizer 👍 to accompany the live music

Had the ribeye. It was overcooked but the staff took it off the bill without any issue. Great service. Everyone else’s meals were great.

Megan was absolutely stellar. We’re here visiting family; between the food and the service she gave us, we cannot say enough good things about our experience. 10’s across the board.

Salmon was baked to perfection. Yum. Bangers and mash was great as always. And don't forget the sticky pudding.. Excellent food, excellent service, cushy chairs. Ahhh...nice and relaxing.

Andrea and Max were "AWESOME"! Andrea the hostess, was great when members of our party were late due to a flat tire, and she held our table and took the time to explain the menu and provided great recommendations before we were even seated. Max, our waitress, was fast on our beverages and attentive to our needs. Our group had salads, the Sheppard's pie, and the chicken curry. All were outstanding. The brownie and the sticky toffee pudding were both incredible. I am taking my family here - great atmosphere and service.

Had a fantastic lunch at McGrady's Pub! Not only was the food great, but Andrea welcomed us with her top picks from the menu and our server, Max, was top notch! If you are looking for an amazing dessert, order the Toffee Pudding! I will definitely be back and bring my family.

Had to ask for the hostess to send the server over. I asked for a savignon blanc. I got a Chardonnay. Ended up going to the bar to get the correct drink. Very disappointing first visit.

Have eaten here several times. There’s really nothing on the menu that blows your socks off to where you have to return to get the dish again. The chicken curry is good, but dry. Too much rice vs the chicken curry. Husband has ordered in past fish & chips but portion is small. Tonight we ordered shepherd’s pie for husband and I ordered the mussel appetizer. Came with a tiny piece of bread to where I had to order more for $5.55. Both dishes were very salty, and I love salt! Water here tasted like swamp water, so get server to get your water out of soda machine - much better. The only dishes we would rate as above average are the beef barley soup, which they rarely serve as soup of the day; and sticky toffee pudding has been consistently good. Server was accommodating and friendly, but never offered drink refills.

Great stop for lunch and good conversation. All of the food was top notch, as well as, the service and cocktails!

When I say these folks out here are magical, friendly, and lit lit lit!! They made my sampling a breeze literally !! This was the best sampling I have ever done!!! Thank you McGradys Pub and all you staff !!! Just superior all across the board!! So go check out McGradys Pubs !!

Darn it. I really wanted to like this close-by eatery. I watched it under construction and had high hopes. Alas, my hopes were dashed. My fish and chips were good. ( I had a salad instead of chips) But the portions were too small. I ate my dinner in 3 minutes, including my skimpy salad. Wife reports her buttermilk popcorn chicken were too few, and too small. She doesn't like dark meat and some were. Her salad was also about a fist size. The meals here are expensive. I expected more for the premium price. Our server was great. My beer was tall and frosty. We enjoyed listening to the adjacent Sawgrass Grove music stage. But, we are X-ing out McGrady's from our list of approved places to eat.

Fish and chips was tasty. Staff was excellent.

We just had salads so nothing fancy about the dinner. Band was playing just outside so really nice. Happy hour for the beers

Our social club had their first event here and it was a hit! We had 32+ people attend and the management was well prepared for us. They had excellent servers take care of us who were attentive & efficient. The atmosphere was perfect for the event from the the lighting to the location. The food & drinks were delicious & their was something for everyone! If you are going to have an event, talk to the management (John or M.C), and have it here! You’ll be happy you did!

From the moment we sat down inside the cool interior of this excellently decorated pub to the moment the food arrived we were enchanted. So let's first talk about the decor and seating in the main dining room. It was excellent, somewhat reminiscent of an British country pub, with lots of wood paneling, comfortable chairs and tables and not a television in sight. Additionally they have a nice selection of craft beers on draft. A very pleasant Irish lady called Max served us and did a great job. Then the food came and the bubble burst. Our appetizer Pretzel was a nice presentation but unfortunately it was slightly overcooked and had lost the bronze sheen. The best thing about the Grove Burger that followed the pretzel for me was the Ayrshire bacon, the chuck brisket was quite tasteless and the bun was a pathetic disaster. My wife's was told the fish was haddock in the fish and chips, but after eating it wished she hadn't ordered haddock. Fish and chips should be cod and chips. Additionally the chips were reconstituted frozen potato. Why o why can't restaurants that pass themselves off as better quality cut their own "chips" from real potatoes like a real British fish and chip shop. Fortunately the Stick Toffee pudding and ice cream we shared for desert was delicious. The total for our lunch before tip was $85.95,

The food, atmosphere and service were great! Except...a true Scotch egg has a runny yolk. I was looking forward to that. But it was still tasty. The shepherds pie was a treat! Also, the reuben on brioche was yummy (a little more sauce next time). The fish and chips was good but had a little bit too much batter for me. Overall, an enjoyable experience! I'll be back

Really nice variety on the menu. Had the fish and chips and that dish was excellent. Husband had the curry chicken and that was very tasty, too.

Wonderful restaurant! Great food and service. Had the fish & chips which were excellent. Don't normally have dessert but tried the Sticky Toffee Pudding at the recommendation of my server Max. Best dessert ever! Max was so nice and really appreciate her advice. Will definitely be back.

McGrady's Pub is at Sawgrass Rec Center in the Villages. We liked it so much we ate there three times in one week! It's great! BTW, the area in the picture is where we played Boozy Bingo our last night there. What a hoot! I highly recommend McGrady's pub and the Villages!

Our first visit to McGrady's. Nancy was our server, she did an excellent job! Food was delicious! Beautiful building.

Everything is OK here, but just that. For an Irish pub they seem to have an identity crisis serving dishes that are decidedly non-Irish - it's just a bit odd. Pretzel bites are excellent though and fish and chips are pretty good to.

The menu didn't appeal to me. Felt like a fine dining restaurant when you walk in and then you see "mushy peas" on the menu and a ton of sandwich options. Just not my forte when I'm eating out. Also there were women holding babies at the bar which was kind of weird. I would not allow infants or small children at a bar.

The Ruben Sandwhich on Pumpernickel is Excellent.

Gina was soo amazing! It was our first time there and she was the best bartender. Thank you so much for making our experience so great. We will be back!
