I get in and wait like 10 min for order and the business was slow only me on line and they see me and they don’t even ask me for nothing At the end nobody take my order. I don’t understand what’s happening there or they are really lazy or they are blind

Awesome place! Food is delicious! This is my lunch go-to during the week. I work in the villages and drive a truck with a trailer. There is room to park on the curb nearby.

First time here. The atmosphere was cute and clean. The lady taking our order, Alexis or Alexa, is the main reason we won’t be returning. She was very snippy, rushed us, didn’t even let us finish our sentences and just rude. Before we even got our food me and my fiancé immediately said after we sat down “she just ruined our mood”. I get it, we all have bad days. But this just wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. She gave us a kid cup with out a lid, we assumed they would be by the fountain drinks, and we had to go back up to the front just to ask for a lid. Maybe if the encounter wasn’t so bad at first the kids lid wouldn’t matter. Really disappointed in the customer service.

I been to this BBQ place numerous times. Last night I ordered a pound of brisket. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY the WORST brisket. Over cooked dry and hard. Couldn't believe the poor quality. Usually the food is pretty good. But not this time. I threw the food away it was! So bad. Recommend you check your bag before you leave the restaurant.

Just went in there to get a menu. I did talk to some folks that had just been served, and it looked delicious. They highly recommended it.

Drove in from florida just to grab lunch and was most impressed, friendly staff and outstanding BBQ. Finished the leftovers that night as well. Will definitely be making a return visit!

Service was good. But for the food, nothing stood out good, not great.

After overhearing a few people rave about this place, I decided to check it out for a late lunch. They recommended the onion rings and pulled pork. And said they have the best banana pudding in the area. So at the advice of strangers, I ordered exactly that. The sweet tea was the best part. First of all my pulled pork sandwich had the largest slab of hard gristle right in the middle. After removing this inedible portion, my sandwich was rather small in portion. The meat itself was pretty good after you smother it with a mixture of the few sauces they have. The onion rings, I couldn't eat but one and a half. I don't care for the batter that they use. Not their fault, probably many people like it. Onto the fake banana pudding. This pudding was straight from a jar or can. There's nothing homemade about it, and I never found any actual banana at all, just flavoring. The cookies were at least real. The sweet tea however was great. Not like sun tea, but good enough for a bulk batch of blended sweet iced tea. The service was great though. Everyone seemed to be very helpful and friendly. Not good enough though that I'll be returning. The place had quite a few visitors during this time, so it does seem to be a hit with the locals. Maybe I'm just spoiled. Once you find great barbecue, most don't even stack up.

Everyone seemed a little off. The cornbread was overcooked and hard. When I asked for another piece since mine was hard. The server just said the cornbread is cooked together, and all of it looks the same...sorry. I'll go back and hopefully it'll be better.

I revisited Willie Jewell's and spoke with Jessica, the manager, concerning a previous order. She is absolutely amazing. Thank you Jessica, and her Mom, for making things right and providing excellent customer service. You went above and beyond to show your commitment to customer satisfaction. My initial mistake was not speaking with you from the start in order to give you a chance to make things right. Thank you again. The food is great and the atmosphere is perfect for dining in.

Food is OK. Stick to the brisket or burger. Ribs are below average. I'm taking my business elsewhere I don't like being charged more for using my credit card. Either go cash only, or take a card and cash.

I meant to write something, then didn't. The staff was super, and the food was beyond what we were expecting. Our children are very picky and loved everything.

Food was delicious! It came out amazing fast and hot! The platter and sandwich meals came with plenty of food for the money. Great Value! My husband even commented on how good the bun was. Multiple choices of sauces to satisfy whatever your style is.

Just had dinner at Willie’s. Not the usual. My meal was fine but my wife’s not so much. My wife likes their fries and was disappointed this trip. They weren’t the same. And her pork sandwich had little meat and of that most was fat. Not the usual. When a gal came by I let her know and her response was, “well we haven’t changed anything”. End of conversation. Several minutes later when picking up our plates, she passed by another table and asked “everything ok here?” What if something wasn’t ok? “If momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.” Momma ain’t happy. And I told the gal that my wife was disappointed and that didn’t seem to matter.

I had the 1921 burger tasted great my wife had the bbq chicken she loved it .we will definitely be back again .prices were also good.great experience

Been here twice..bbq is excellent. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Place is clean. Service is quick. Can’t wait to go back again.

The food isn't flavorful and food wasn't hot at all . They only have one none soda/caffeine drink available. And i don't like the sauces aren't ready to use. Place is clean, but I won't be going back.

Since I was alone I set up at the bar this was in the afternoon. Helpful, delightful and their customers were enjoying good conversation with the staff :-)

We went to try new barbecue place down south in the Villages. We spent over $40 for pulled pork and half rack of ribs. Did I mention it was self serve. Food was average. I can go to other places and get better barbecue and get waited on. That is just my opinion. Try it yourself, but take plenty of money!

First time here, will definitely be back! Tried brisket, ribs, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. All were the best ever!! Highly recommend!!!! Retuned today January 6 for on line order pickup. My husband's meal was perfect. Mine was missing cheese, lettuce, tomato. Paid for corn fritters as my side with my burger, I got a plain burger with fried pickles as the side. 😢 Sad

Family of 4 stopped...we all had something different. I had 2 piece dark chicken w collard greens...delicious. father in law had a smoked sausage w green beans and baked beans. He loved it. Son had ribs and fries...he says it smacked. Husband had beef with green beans and loved it w the mustard sauce. Beer was nice and cold. Would go again.

Food was delicious. We just moved to the Villages and are trying lots of places. We will definitely get food here again.

One of our favorite BBQ places in The Villages. We frequent this restaurant about once a week.

This BBQ place is great. I recommend the half rack of ribs with Hickory Heaven sauce. The baked beans and mac n' cheese, complemented the ribs well. The staff were notably helpful and patient, adding to the experience. Cleanliness was a priority too, with neat bathrooms and a well-maintained dining area. Highly recommend for a top-notch dining experience.

I've been visiting The Villages for 20+ years, this is by far the best BBQ in the area. Had a pulled pork sandwich with sausage on top, it was enough to feed 4 people. Their Sweet Sauce is A+++. I love this place and will be here every visit.

Not the best, had a sandwich and its qas definitely processed turkey. Didn't expect that from a so called barbeque place. Just not for me.

We have struggled to find a BBQ place that we really like. Willie’s is the best we’ve had since we moved to the Villages. The brisket and ribs are amazing. Ice selection of sauces too. Give them a try.

I can't believe I've been right around the corner from this gem for so long and just now got to experience them! The food filled me up, I felt actually satisfied for hours after eatting here for lunch I ended up skipping dinner. The sweet tea was on point! The service was perfect - I called in and was struggling to order and the man I spoke with was so nice and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend! The brisket is AMAZING! The Arrow office ordered for lunch and all the staff was happy with what we ordered. Support to this local family owned and operated business!

The food is good and all of their sides r homemade and the potato salad is so delicious but I think they need to come down on their prices for their ribs cus a full rack of ribs r $36 and half rack is $19 but other than than, the food is good.

Wow! Our first visit to a Willie Jewell's and we were very impressed. The menu offers a great variety of items. Once we placed our order we grabbed our beverages and sat down. Our dinners were brought out within minutes! The smoked turkey salad was absolutely delish, as was the ribs and Brunswick stew. The garlic toast was baked to perfection! Service was quick, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Loved the atmosphere, it was very relaxing.

*Updated Visit* Kind of more of the same. Brisket was much better, ribs fair tasteless except for the bbq sauce you need to dip it in. The brunswick stew the same flavor lots of pepper no taste, service ok. Nothing special but for a local bite to eat it's ok. Taste more like commercial bbq not the real thing like the Oakwood! But I will continue to support hometown restaurants I believe it's important to! Next time, I will try a hamburger! Will the 3rd time be the charm or a thumbs down stay tuned to find out. PS My wife's pulled pork had a lighter fluid taste that gave us both heartburn. Liked the atmosphere and the service was very friendly and accommodating! The food a mixed bag. My wife's brisket portion excellent, however the brisket included a lot of uneatable fat. Kind of nasty. What my wife ate was delicious! They gave her crackers in a package that were crushed to crumbs, pretty gross. What they call Brunswick stew was more like the canned stew minus meat from a grocery store not at all what I would call your typical Brunswick stew. Very watery. My salad with 3 meats was delicious and a generous portion. I wouldn't go out of my way to try it but I wouldn't avoid it. A mixed bbq bag at best. Also the fella playing music this weekend did not know the words to the songs he was singing kind of embarrassing. I think this place can do better with a little better supervision and quality control.

Great Barbecue for good prices.

We want to like it because it's really close to our house, but the food wan't hot the last 3 times we were there.

This little place tucked away in a corner next to a Publix really surprised me. We ordered the ribs,pulled pork, brisket and smoked sausage. All the meats were so moist and tender. The brisket was my favorite. It was so juicy and tender, the best I've had so far. They have a sauce bar where you help yourself to a choice of what ever BBQ sauces you want which is awesome. But IMO, the meats we ordered didn't need any sauce. They were that good. The meats were all seasoned well. The fried corn nuggets were very good. The Cole slaw definitely needed a lot more flavor. I love Cole slaw but I didn't enjoy theirs. The garlic toast had way too much butter that the toast was soggy . Small things to work on. Other than that, we will definitely be back again.

Stopped thru to the Tesla superchargers located in Brunswick GA and immediately smelled the goodness coming from Willie Jewells old school bbq. We ventured in to hog heaven. I ordered the Slawpty Pig with slaw and some of the best okra around. There are 4 different sauces available to compliment your meal. The staff were so friendly and you could tell they have lots of regulars that they know by first name. While enjoying our food we were admiring the other menu items and the back staff asked if we would like a complimentary taste of ribs. Of course we could not say no! Let me tell you these ribs were seasoned perfectly and were juicy, tender and literally we pulled them right off the bone with no resistance. We are a good 7hrs away but we wil be back to this lil Jewell!

We ate here our first night at the Villages. They have good barbcue and good service. We enjoyed it. I highly recommend eating there!

We tried this place for the first time tonight. So glad we did. The decor is great, people are super friendly. The meats were all good. Ribs are HUGE. The corn nuggets are so good. They let you get then as a side for $1 extra. The grape lemonade is so different and good because it's not too sweet. Hubby loved PBR on tap! The only thing that wasn't good is the corn bread. Not terrible tasting but the consistency of a kitchen sponge. We will definately be back!

We super enjoyed the pulled pork platter with two sides. Service was excellent and our meal very delicious and very reasonable for what we got. Very friendly, helpful staff. We are taking enough home for another meal. Wish we lived closer to come often.

OMG….hands down the best bbq I’ve ever had! Potato salad was delicious! The guy at the front counter was very friendly and even came to check on us while we ate! Thank you! I should have taken a picture before I demolished it!

First time dining here. Had a great time and will be back for sure. Everything was clean, servers were friendly, food was very enjoyable. (except the corn bread. all at the table said the same. not a fan) Good portion sizes. Thanks for the memorable experience.

If you ever want to experience great BBQ, try Willie Jewels!! I had the Barnyard Burger topped with pulled pork...added my choice of sauces. It was excellent! They have sweet and unsweet tea and a bar inside with draft beers. Definitely will revisit next vacation.

Service was excellent. Folks were friendly and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Food portions with the exception of the corn fritters were huge. Wife’s pulled pork was gigantic. I had a turkey/sausage sandwich. Both were excellent. Coleslaw was a full container. Took the picture afterwards. That was a full order of corn fritters though. .53 cents a fritter and they forgot the blue cheese. They did taste excellent though and still rate it 5. We will be back.

Pretty good barbecue although the fried pickles were too salty to eat. The barbecue sauces are excellent. The restaurant was very clean and service was efficient. A great place to enjoy your favorite sporting events. This restaurant has a great history, which is posted near the entrance. Would have rated this restaurant with a 5 if our meal would have been served warm or hot (the meat was cool to the touch). Looking forward to a future visit,
