We had lunch there yesterday. We ordered the lunch portion of eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. The meals came with a salad and garlic knots. Our meals were very good and reasonably priced. We had a server named Amber who we thought did an outstanding job! She kept our drinks filled, checked on us from time to time, and was very pleasant. I gave atmosphere 4 stars only because it’s a casual restaurant, not fancy.

Nice place to catch lunch- fast service and reasonably priced food.

My wife and I heard about Roberto’s and looked forward to dining there. Checked menu, hours on line, etc, and all looked good. Got there at 4:45 today (Sunday); web times and door posted times are 4:00-8:00 on Sunday. We checked before we drove 20 minutes. Wasted the drive. Closed. Won’t be a next time.

This place gets busy, but worth it 👌

Very yummy food with a homemade family taste and at home atmosphere. I do think my portion size was a bit small. I had broccoli in with my Alfredo sauce with chicken and there was a small amount of broccoli added so I would've liked a bit more broccoli. But overall great food and very nice staff.

Pizza and service was good, other food not so good, don’t know what they make their meatballs with, but it was gross! Dry like cardboard! 🤢

Took over 15 minutes for someone to just take our drink order, the wrong food was made by the kitchen and the food had no taste. Very Disappointed

Had a nice meal, great service, and nice atmosphere. My husband had the chicken parm, and I had the mussels pasta ( can't remember the name) I would probably not order it again. It was N.Z. green mussels and PEI mussels as well. They were rather large and chewy. The flavors were great, though. The chicken parm was a huge portion, and he liked it. Will definitely go back.

Catered a Birthday yesterday & ordered sausage, green peppers & onions, Chicken parm & Antipasto salad. The food was delivered timely, well packaged & plentiful as well. The sausage was perfectly cooked, tender & juicy, chicken parm perfectly prepared & very flavorful & the antipasto salad was so fresh & tasty you would think it was just picked. Delivery was right on time & perfectly handled. This was beyond a good experience, it was a perfect experience. Roberto, thanks for making the party a huge success. Your food is the best!

The server was really nice. I will describe the food I had here in this way, Olive Garden is way better. And I don't like Olive Garden at all. If the cooks would taste the food they're making, they would be embarrassed of the final product. But my guess is that they don't dare. If I ever have the stomach to go back, I will give the pizza a try.

Delicious pizza and garlic rolls

Very disappointed in the food. Veal tough to cut, and Fettuccine Alfeddo was swimming in a sea of cream. Not authentic Italian cuisine by any stretch!

First time I went the pizza was amazing. Second time I went. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and my friend ordered the lasagna. Well they sent me the eggplant Parmesan and the waitress as well. I put it down as eggplant. I said well I wanted chicken Parmesan so they made it and I got it. The chicken in the Parmesan was so thin. It was like a slice of lunchmeat and the breading was burnt. It was greasy And I had to wait while my friend was eating their food I was not offered to discount I was not offered to drink. I felt ripped off the waitress said she was sorry but she really wasn’t. I think she told them that I change my mind, but she’s the one that didn’t take the order right I feel like it was a big waste of money. Looking forward to a nice lunch that day and it turned out the opposite. I won’t be back.

This has been our go to Italian restaurant as the entrees are exceptional. However, we tried the pizza last week and it was subpar. We ordered the vegetarian pizza. The crust was burnt and tough. The pizza sauce was bland and the veggies looked and tasted like they had not been cooked. First time we've been disappointed in Robertos.

Can't call them to oder pick up. Re-directs you to Grubhub but the menu is different. We gave up and ordered from Piesanos...easy to order. Ya make it this difficult to order...you loose our businesses.

excellent service. Excellent original Italian food and very nice place. It's the best it's the best in the area.

The only saving grace was that our waitress did a decent job. The pizza is not fresh, I seriously think it’s frozen dough. The salad is just cut up lettuce from a bag no doubt. Red sauce tastes very much like from the can, not the jar….the can. The biggest issue was honestly the pizza. The dough was tasteless, the mushrooms were from a can and it tasted extremely similar to when I’ve been forced to grab a slice at a gas station in a pinch. Also…nearly half hour wait even with a reservation, very little waiting space, no-one offering maybe a drink even if water while numerous parties waited past reservation times (simple things a business can do to make up for their mistakes of over booking customers) No bueno. I cannot in good conscience recommend your establishment nor patronize it myself.

If you are from New England, NY, NJ, Chicago- don’t eat here You won’t even recognize it as anything you have ever had If from anywhere else in the country- you might like it because you have never had Italian cooking Great waitresses and service

Antipasto salad was terrific! Garlic knots were tasty! Veal Parmesan was tough...sorry! Service was excellent even outside!

Everything was really great. Kim was super attentive and polite to myself and all the tables surrounding me . Had the Chicken Marsala and side salad and portions were plentiful and delicious . Will return again for sure.

Had a reservation @6. Got there at 5:55 & waited till 6:45 before we got seated!! Beware making a reservation doesn't seem to matter much.

Came here as a big group for lunch and we had a great experience. I ordered the baked spaghetti.. it was absolutely delicious!

We waited for one hour and 40 minutes for our pizza ! Arrived at 4:20 pm and didn't get our pizza until after 6 pm. While the waitress was phenomenal, she apologized perfusly, the manager was so blatantly rude when we asked why others that came in 30 minutes AFTER us received their pizza ? Also, Roberto came over to our table and gave the internet as an excuse. Was also very rude. On on top of it all, the crust was burnt and black !!!! Never will return ! Never

Recently, my husband and I visited The Villages to see friends whom we've missed since moving to the Dallas area 3 years ago. I planned a surprise birthday party for him while there and wanted it catered by a restaurant I knew I could count on for quality food. We're very familiar with the restaurants in The Villages as we lived there for 8 years. He was a pleasure to work with while planning this remotely. He sent me texts with pictures of the food he suggested and wanted to ensure that I was happy with the selections. We decided to have heavy appetizers such as seafood stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, Italian Rice Balls, Italian Trio ( fried ravioli, zuchinni fries, and marinara) Charcuterie Board, Bruschetta, and Stromboli. He also reassured me that there would be enough food for everyone, and he was "spot on" about what to order - all finger foods and had it delivered on time! I wouldn't hesitate to call on Roberto again and highly recommend him to anyone who enjoys good Italian food!

Came to this place by recommendations of some neighbors. Food smell great once you enter the place, that stop there. They put us on a dirty booth that still had the check and napkins from previous patrons. They set us a garlic bread knots that was ok. Bread is better in any other restaurant. Plates dirty, one was chipped. We had two acceptable bottles of Italian wines ( 3.9 ), but they were both slightly corked. ( they don’t know what was that.) Italian weeding soup with no taste, watered, small quantity, and no tiny beef meatballs? My Penne Pasta with meat sauce and meatballs, did not have meat sauce for more that the waitress try to convince me. It was a marinara sauce which she agreed later it was. They brought me what they say is a side of bolognese sauce, which for me was like a beef stew with large chunks of beef and large vegetables. Tasted as beef stew. The meatballs were ok. Judge by the pic. My wife, a direct Italian descendant order a pizza which was ok, no better than most places around, but with a fairly good crust. Got to give them that. On summary not a good experience.

Food was absolutely delicious. That's all I have to say.

This is a great restaurant. If you want a real authentic Italian food this is definitely the place!! Highly recommend. You will be glad you did!

Always good food and service at Roberto's. We enjoy eating outside and their lunch specials are a bargain.

Food was not good at all. We got a pizza and three dishes and not a single thing was good. Bland and tasteless. Service was ok, kinda felt like we were a bother anytime we needed to ask for something. Plenty of better places around. Won’t be returning here.

My first visit. Just walking in with scents from the kitchen telling me I was in for a treat. Amazing mid-price wine selection. We had calamari appetizer, 2 types of salad, homemade rolls, pizza, grouper, dessert & espresso. Each item was carefully prepared with tasty fresh ingredients. Kim provided our table with exceptional service but the entire wait staff seemed to provide friendly capable service. We cannot wait to go back!

Get the garlic knots!!! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, and the speed of delivery to our room. We asked for lime for our Coronas, and they provided gorgeous lime wedges. We also asked for red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese, and they provided generous amounts. We are very happy that we stayed in and ordered delivery from Roberto's! They made a dreary weather weekend visit a lot more enjoyable. Thank you!

We went tonight. The place was packed with multiple to-go orders waiting too. We were seated quickly. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing. The calamari was large and very fresh. All the meals were excellent and very large portions. I had the ossobuco which was tender and flavorful. My wife had the grouper which was very good on risolli. My father's chicken dish was really tasty and my mother loved her vegetarian pizza. The desserts were great too. We shared canolli and spumoni that were amazing. ... especially for the prices. We highly recommend Roberto's!

I LOVE this restaurant but I hate that they use Grubhub. I ordered a pizza that I usually love! The grubhub driver sent me a pic of the delivery clearly showing the box being carried at an angle causing all of the topping to slide to and get stuck on the side of the box. My wife picked off the mushrooms to eat but I threw the pizza away. Again Robertos Ristorante is awesome and I will go there tomorrow to personally pick up another pizza. But i will never again use grubhub. Unfortunately i cant post a google review on them

Calzone was the best you can get in Florida by far great food

Was a bit apprehensive going. For some reason I thought it was a more upscale place than we normally go to. Maybe because of the prices or the fact that their most common patrons are well off retirees. At any rate we gave it a shot. Loved the atmosphere. Very NY/PA deli which I liked. The bar area was cool with color changing lights. Food was pricey. Not used to sandwiches being $10 and being served with nothing, not even a pickle spear. The Ham & Cheese sandwich didn't say it had vinaigrette (very watery, next to no flavor) lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Neither did the server say that/ask if that was all ok. Not the norm in any restaurant to not have it mentioned at all. Not cool when people have allergies. Also wasn't asked if I wanted it hot or cold. The menu did not say sandwiches were hot. Server did come back after 5 minutes and immediately noticed something wasn't right & corrected it. Cold sandwich without that stuff was better but the bread just wasn't good. She kept up on drinks which is huge for us. The Stromboli was a hit with my husband. The dough lacked something for me personally but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Calamari is tough the rest of the food I had was just ok nothing special

Wintering lunch their pizzas are great the pastas mostly are great but there was a few that I wasn't too thrilled with otherwise I'd come back knowing which entrees I like

The chocolate covered shell ice cream ball is goog the green one is not mint it's pistachio ice cream that shock me the pasta is good the sub is good my dad didn't like it all well more ice cream for me he is a picky eater

We went to celebrate the restaurants fourth anniversary. We have ordered pizzas from there and decided to eat in. The food was very good and our server was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going again

Absolutely delicious!!!! Despite the place being packed the service was outstanding. Only tried the pizza so far. Can't wait to try the entrees next time. Be sure to make reservations.

This was our first time eating at Roberto's and I have to say that we've added this restaurant to the top of the list of our favorites. We were a party of 8 and our server was amazing, from keeping our drinks refilled to the accuracy of all our orders. Our food came promptly and every dish was delicious, in addition to being very generous portions. We will surely go back to Roberto's next time we are in the area.

Good Italian restaurant. Expect to wait. It was packed at 5:00!! It was packed out with waiting line when we left at 6:00. Had a room full of "Villagers" nice to see them all getting along, moving from table to table to talk with each other. Even sang "Happy Birthday" to nice lady when the wait staff brought out a small dessert with a candle.

Fast service. Great waitress. Food awful 😞. Shrimp Scampi no flavor.We we're a group of 8. And nobody cared for the food.

Some of the most amazing food I have had come from Roberto's. There has not been a dish I have not liked...will definitely keep coming back...

The food and service was fantastic. We just happened to stop by on our way through town and was really impressed.

I left my belongings there & they would hold it & I was told to puck up next day well I did & they claimed they didn't have my belongings I know I left it on table as we took photos & they were on table when we left right after photo taken never got my item that belonged to me

Party of 7 enjoyed the experience and the food. Meatballs were good but needed a little more seasoning.

Classic old world Italian cuisine at its finest.

Service was slow to get food or drinks. We had deluxe pizza, it was good. Only beer and wine. Pricing was OK. Before we were done, the server gave us the check, then checked multiple times before we were even done to cash out... to turn table is my guess.

Dinner portion was small and food was just Luke warm.

Salad and appetizer were good. Sauce was awful. Watery and flavorless. Meatballs were mediocre. Staff is overwhelmed for sure! I’m sure if you order a take out pizza you’re all good!!!

Great atmosphere with friendly wait staff, great experience overall

Eaten here a few times now. Food is always fresh and delicious. It is also very reasonably priced- especially nowadays when everyone is charging an arm and a leg, Roberto's is still providing excellent food at an affordable price. The picture with the post was of my last meal. I got the deep dish pizza with broccoli (I'm weird and like broccoli with red sauce on pizza). It was really good. My only complaint is that they are not closer to my house!
