Simply the best Indian food in pensacola.

The food was just incredibly underwhelming. The tikka masala was just flat taste wise.

Very very good food! Absolutely loved it! But „medium“ spicy is still very hot :)

Don't go here. Ordered chicken biryani, paratha and butter chicken. These basic dishes came out completely different. Biryani was plain rice with 4 pieces of boneless chicken! Paratha was a noon covered with butter and butter chicken was the wrong color. I've never had a restaurant mess up these 2 dishes before. Over priced, small portions, wrong food.

I had a terrible experience at Indian Grill with two friends. The menu showed an 18% gratuity, and when I asked about it, the staff said it was because many people don't tip. This seemed off since the rule should apply only to larger groups, and it felt like a way to force a tip. The service was abysmal. After a long wait, I asked for lemon and onions, which I was told would incur an extra charge. I agreed, but the items only arrived after we finished our meal. With only three tables occupied, it’s unacceptable that the service was so disorganized. The food was equally disappointing. The goat rogan josh was okay, but the Madras chicken was sweet and not at all spicy, despite being described as South Indian spicy. The chili chicken was the worst—bright red, flavorless, and unappetizing. This was by far the worst Indian restaurant I’ve been to in the US in 13 years of traveling through various states. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Service was polite and to the point. Atmosphere was quiet and more low-key, so if you prefer to eat with music and loud vibes this may not be the place for you. With that being said, if you came for the good food (as you should,) this place was so good for the family. We got samosas, chicken korma, butter chicken, and chicken Tikka masala with naan and all of it was so delicious. I'd also recommend the medium spice for the dishes; it packed quite a bit of heat but not enough to take way from the meal! I will absolutely eat here again and I don't have any complaints.

The food was so delicious, this is second time we come in three days. We ordered chicken masala, tandoori chicken, lamb chops, garlic and butter bread and mango lasse juice. All were so delicious, people are very friendly and smily. Will go again on my next trip . Allah willing. In sha Allah.

Was a definite blessing to come by this place. Food was outstanding as was the service. Was fairly empty upon arrival but had a steady flow of take out orders. Have to say my only complaint was that the amount of food received for the amount of money spent was not exactly worthwhile. Definitely a bi-monthly type of place just because of that. Spent about $60 (including a 15% after a mando %18 gratuity) for a solid one servings worth of food each for two people, with one appetizer and 2 drinks. Staff were VERY friendly though!

DO NOT EAT HERE. Ate here on my birthday, ordered the vegetable samosas. Next morning I had SEVERE food poisoning, which actually resulted in admitting me in the hospital. Call this establishment about the food safety issue: was hung up on, didn’t speak English at all, and when I called hours later to speak to a manager they said they don’t have one. They didn’t care about this food safety issue whatsoever. BE AWARE!!!!

Went inside to order takeout on my birthday, order hot chicken masala and other stuff. NONE WERE SPICY. Also ordered Bombay aloo, no Bombay aloo found. They did charge us for it tho. 1/10 food, service, and everything. Honestly not worth it unless you want to waste your money and tell people you eat Indian food.

Never seems busy but I would be bummed if they ever closed. Food is fantastic. Favorite entrees are lamb jalfrezi or lamb chops. All naan bread choices are delicious. All chef’s specials are gourmet worthy. I have eaten Indian in NYC, DC, and London but didn’t taste any dishes more memorable. They don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own wine. There’s no high end ambience here, just great food at reasonable prices.

Visiting pensacola for the 1st time. I love Indian food so when I saw this online I was excited. It's about 15 walking distance from the hotel I was staying in. I called and placed my order. They told me 10 to 15 minutes. I got there, the order was not even placed. Totally overpriced. I got the WORST Biryani I've ever seen in my ENTIRE life. Simply just plain white rice and 3 pieces of dry white meat. Disgusting.

20 dollars for less than 6 pieces of goat pieces in the curry. It didn't cook properly. Chicken 65 is drenched in tomato sauce, this isn't an Indian grill don't expect Indian spices. Very little portion for everything. One person could easily eat 2 goat curries and garlic naan, but because of the portion, they would still be hungry. Biriyani is the worst ever, doesn't even look like and taste like Biriyani. Overpriced. Not worth at all don't get. Horrible Bathrooms, smelled horrible and took a long walk to get there. The server wouldn't let us alone as he kept on asking us over and over if we wanted more, no privacy.

The waiter was not rude or anything , just not very welcoming. Food was a little bland. I asked for water, I thought they would bring me a glass of water but they gave me a plastic-bottled water , dripping from a condensation, haha. They charged $1.95 - so weird! They do not give you a receipt of breakdown first before you pay, which is also just weird and sketchy. Overall , I will not come back.

Carryout is great, I got the vindaloo before, careful it's hot 🔥.

I have been dining in US for 20 years but never have I been charged 15% tip included in price. Tip is what given if you like the service. I thought that was pure evil.

We ordered naan and mutton curry both are good , we ordered chicken biryani which was the worst biryani I have ate , they used frozen chicken and it smelling bad and and we threw away the whole biryani , total waste of money

I loved how gently the food was prepared, the cook made sure to keep it neutral but flavourful so that the customers can add salt or spice themselves. Great when visiting with kids, mine ate everything. First visit and very impressed by delicately cooked vegetables and meat items to go. Very nice staff, very clean place. Recommend.

I have to write it... Worst Aloo Paratha. I would not be wrong if I say aloo paratha without aloo. I don't know why they are selling mixed dal in the name of dal makhani. NO TASTE AT ALL. Veg raita just had curd and cucumber, no tomatoes or onions.. I will give them 0 and I wish I would have spent my money somewhere else

Indian Grill is absolutely amazing! If you find that you need abnormally large portions to satisfy yourself, then this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for authentic Indian food then you haave found your place! The lamb masala was OUTSTANDING! The portion sizes are excellent and the prices are well worth it. The customer service was phenomenal and while I may have struggled a little with my hearing, the wait staff made sure I understood everything!

The food here is delicious and the staff are always SO friendly! By far, this is my households’ favorite place to go for food. The food is always hot and fresh, with the portion sizes big enough to get at least 2 meals from.

Horrible food, place and service. We ordered a sizzler and they smoked up the whole place with chilli, everyone in the restaurant was coughing for over 15 min. All of the other food we ordered was also not good at all, not cooked properly, not enough flavor.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while!! I got the lamb special with garlic stuffed naan. It was perfection! The lamb was incredibly tender, the spice was just enough and the red curry sauce was dreamy!! I can’t wait to bring my husband here! If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Service was a major disappointment after the food. Rude workers. Everything looked rushed, yet the service was delayed. The staffs looked unprepared. Taste was kinda basic, nothing special. The portion size was really small. Overall it was a bummer :(

The food could use an option of spiciness. Also, they could take more time to grind out their spices because I found some big chunks of spices in my chicken dish that were nowhere near ground out. Also, the customer service could use some improving. Maybe reading the full order and adding spiciness to the dish as a customer requested could go a long way. On dishes listed on the menu and online adding what dishes have tree nuts or peanuts helps

I visited this place after reading the Google reviews. In my opinion, I don't recommend it. The prices are extremely high compared to the quality and taste of the food. A simple yellow rice costs $9 and the chicken lacks flavor, only tasting of chili. The lamb biryani was very disappointing, with no aroma and no appetite to eat it.

A few things. I found this place randomly and wanted to try it out while I was there. My first impression was that it's very quiet, and we were given a table right away. Seating was quick which was great. My friend and I had planned on getting something to share for lunch since we were about to go home and we were hungry but neither of us felt like we could eat a whole meal. Should be fine, right? I order a water cause I had been walking around. They do not tell you that the water is served from a plastic bottle into a wine glass, and yes, you pay for refills. I just wish I knew that before ordering. I asked the waiter if he reccomended anything, to which he replied everything and walked away. Which is fine I guess but he didn't answer any questions. the waiter pushed us to get two things and was very rude when we mentioned we want to share and wouldn't let us order one thing. I was also told the food would be spicy. But it was not. I would like to add that every time I asked a question (asking what he reccomends personally, about the refills, sharing, a Togo box) I was mostly ignored. Though, I think there was a language barrier. The food was OKAY I wouldn't pay that price again or come back. It was extreemly uncomfortable the whole time. WARNING: This place is pricy for what you get. Water isn't refillable, bottled water only no soda on tap. One Naan bread is about $4

To say that the service was subpar would be an understatement, The wait staff was rather rude at several different points. The food was ok, but a bottle of water being $2+ was a little excessive and for the price I was a little let down by the amount of food served. Personally, I will not be returning again. I hope the wait staff had a better day afterwards.

Food is great. Prices are a little high. They bring bottled water rather than tap water and charge several dollars, so be clear on what you order. I tried several dishes and everything was delicious.

Tried for the first time tonight. Staff was very friendly and they gave me 10% off for no reason which I thought was very nice. Very clean inside. Mango Lassi was delicious. I ordered chicken Tikka masala medium spicy but unfortunately it just had ZERO flavor and zero spice. I love Indian food but I probably won't even eat the leftovers. 🥺 I got my order to go and it was packed and wrapped very well,including the drink.

Our sever Sam was so great and attentive. The food was absolutely exquisite!! So flavorful, and great portions! We had appetizers, entree, and dessert and couldn't have been more happier with the food.

The food here was pretty good, although it lacked a little salt. The atmosphere and ambiance was not very good, with bad light and a very industrial vibe. I liked some of the pictures they had on the walls. The servers were also very friendly. The rice tasted good and had just enough salt in them. I would recommend to come here if you want good food.

Very very slow service from the start. Got a table for two and we were in and out in two hours and they weren’t even busy. If the service was better, I’d probably consider coming back!

Note: There is an old picture with a buffet that was likely from previous management. There is no buffet here at all. They triggered me, so it was a quick visit. I asked for water, and they brought out $2 bottled water. No. You know that I meant free tap water. Please, either clarify which type I want or tell me upfront that the only option is bottled. I am frugal and an extra 4 bucks (my wife and I) means a lot to me. With that, I was immediately in a bad mood. I nearly just left a $5 on the table (2 waters+change for tax) and left, but my wife asked if we could stay. I can't say no to her (cuz she's amazing and deserves every good thing)... but I can request we only get an app, so that is what we did. A stunning picture of a lamb kebab looked promising. In the picture, there were 4 skewers of ground and shaped lamb, as long as the dinner plate they were on. Sounds good! ...Nope. It looked like 2 skewers worth that were slid off the skewer and then cut in half to make it look like 4 (I even saw the cut). Also, the color was yellowish instead of the rich brown in the picture. The taste was barely okay; dry and little flavor, which is sad because I love lamb. They brought out 3 different sauces to drizzle on, but none of them did much for it. It was disappointing. With that, I was done and not curious about anything else on their menu. We paid and left. ...I might try it again and come with the knowledge I gained, but I doubt it. I went somewhere else to satisfy my Inidan food craving, and it's not something I crave often.

Really authentic Indian food. Pick your spice level and they cook to order. Portions are ample. Service is impeccable. We've been twice. Definitely added to our monthly restaurant rotation.

Best Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant in the south. I am very picky about the quality, cleanliness and service when it comes to restaurants. This one satisfies me in every aspects.

Ordered Butter chicken through Uber Eats and was surprised to find out that the $20 dish did not come with rice or Naan bread. I ordered a side of rice at $4, and the container it came in was so small. The cost of this dish was not reasonable for the amount of food served. The flavor was certainly lacking. They claim to be authentic Indian, but this is nothing more than chicken in coconut milk with yellow food coloring. It is extremely bland and disappointing. I would never order from this restaurant again. Wouldn’t recommend, 0/10!!

It was my third time in that restaurant. I am in love with India food, and this place deserve a great review cause the food was so so authentic Indian food. I enjoyed it much. I love everything that is made in India. I have clothes, accessories, items in my house that were made in India. Every place that I have been in USA, I alway look for Indian food. I love the culture, their clothes , accessories, Women dress beautifully. There is something about this country and culture that enamore me.❤

Great place to find original Indian flavors . We enjoyed paneer tikka , mix veg and Naan . They all taste awesome . Service was also quick comparatively to other Indian restaurants I have been.

This place is awesome! We tried their garlic naan, lamb seehk, butter chicken and jalfrizi chicken. The chicken was soft and flavorful and the naan was crispy, chewy and soft. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back soon :)

I did not like the food. I ordered biriyani and what they gave me looked like biriyani but was not biriyani. They did not use basmati rice or long grain rice which is important for biriyani. The people were good though

4.1 stars??? No way!!! This place is 5 STARS hands down!!! I am a vegetarian so I can’t speak for the meat entrees, but I love every single dish I’ve tried here. Seriously some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had in my life. The mango drink, the garlic cheese naan, the appetizers, every single veggie entree and even basic veggie rice….all amazing. I’ve started cooking Indian dishes at home because their food was THAT GOOD!!! I’m grateful for Indian Grill food!

This is one of the worst places to eat Biriyani. I mean, the Quantity they provide for $20 is not sufficient. We 3 people ordered Goat Biriyani and they came with a half plate, which cost at most $10. This is just like stealing money from the customer's pocket. This owner has no idea of other Desi restaurants in the USA. Please visit other stores before running your own business. If there is a negative star option in the Google review, I will hit that negative review. I do not recommend going there.

It’s good delicious Indian food

We had a family meal here last night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our food was so delicious. My 2 year old great nephew couldn’t get enough of the butter chicken. We were even treated to some desserts on the house. Definitely will have my repeat business when I am in town.

Food was top notch, specially shrimp Biryany, shrimp jalfreizi, sheikh kabab. Chef made it so flavorful. Owner was present and service was great. Will visit again.

Great food! Found this place from a friend's recommendation. It's small and in a somewhat odd location, but it's amazing. My wife & I are definitely going to be frequenting this place.

I have not eaten at an Indian restaurant before but I have had Indian curry before. The chicken Tikka was delicious, ordered it hot and would say it's a good level of spice enough to feel the heat but not induce the need to drink copious amounts of water. The pricing is nice as well 16 dollars for a curry with rice (during lunch while dining in) and garlic naan was 4 dollars a dollar per section I would really recommend eating the curry with the naan rather than just the rice the flavors really carried though better. Atmosphere was nice and clean, I would say it is a bit echoey in there makes it a bit harder to understand people but it was a great experience and the staff were nice. Overall the dining area was clean, the food was delicious and the staff were nice as well. As a person who hasn't had a lot of experience with Indian food I would come again. Also the buffet doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Poorly managed restaurant, Manager does not know what is published in online Menu. Ordered vegetable biryani but in online option it shows only Biryani Rice which itself was very confusing but as it was coming with green logo ordered it but when I was confirming my order they said it is just Biryani Rice which was merely turmeric rice.They said you ordered like this but when I showed them online there is no option to customize (like veg, chicken etc.) they started to blame online management company but no rescue for customer.Later I made new order of Dal Makhani to have those rice but it was also worst with chana dal in it.Fully confused management and no taste in food.

Service and atmosphere is good, a few items were also good (tandoori roti, dhal tadka and white rice, I observed tandoori chicken is fast moving). However, very bad experience with rice items. They are selling fried rice in the name of biriyani and it was too oily. I doubt it's 2nd quality used OIL.We ordered Chicken biriyani, Mutton biriyani (I felt mutton pieces tastes good) and mushroom rice. Rice and Pieces quantity were too less, won't be sufficient for one person also and it's costly as well, not at all worthy. When I call them and conveyed my concern, they are acting as if they are listening to us, but they just want us to pay and move on as if they are giving it for free. No value for money. Improve the quality and quantity, you will definitely have a good business.

I enjoyed the food, but not the service and atmosphere. The host said we could sit anywhere, but not the large tables. If they had been expecting large groups of people, then okay, but no large groups of people arrived to use any of the six large tables. Also not impressed with the paper table coverings. Not a bad place, but not a place I would go to again. Maybe best for takeout.

Great place, great food, great for catering, nice owners. Only thing i can say is use chicken thighs instead of breast. Breast is sometimes a little chewy. Will be back for the next family bday party

The best and cleanest indian food in the usa

You’ll miss this authentic Indian restaurant if you’re just driving by! The vegetable samosas are fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered the chicken tikka masala and I ordered the chicken korma. We both had a garlic naan. The food was amazing. I did not expect the formal dinner vibe given the location right off the the N Davis Hwy, but it was good. Staff are friendly, food was exceptional and fast. I don’t know how we had leftovers but it was still amazing for lunch the next day! Definitely coming back!!!

I’ve been a regular for a while now, and I always get the masala but the last couple times seems like the flavor is different for the worse. The rice container used to be full now it is not. The cheese nan is not even melted. Food is still ok but for the price you be excepting more

I have Been here a couple times and it’s by far my favorite restaurant in Pensacola. The customer service is perfect and the food is beyond delicious. It’s the most authentic Indian food you can get around here. I never leave reviews so me doing this has to say something. Highly suggest!

Naan is amazing. Chicken Tika Masala had too much paprika and not enough Turmeric.

I recently ordered takeout from Indian Grill, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. Not only did they serve delicious halal food, but the speed of their service was truly remarkable. From the moment I placed my order to the moment I picked it up, the efficiency was impressive. They had my order ready in no time, and I couldn’t believe how fast the service was without compromising on the quality of the food.

Great food, great customer service! It’s very quiet though, it needs some good Indian vibe music. Best Indian food ever and the flavor is delicious. I got the tandoori chicken with naan bread. I also got a mango lassi and it was not too sweet just the right balance. The dipping sauces were exquisite.

I had the Vegetable Karahi. Excellent food and service! Very helpful and friendly staff. Indian food is my favorite and this restaurant will be sure to please.
