Village inn on 9 mile road has the best cook it's really sad there closing I have had the opportunity to try other Village inn food an sadly to say it was nasty I am going to really miss the good food on 9 mile road Village inn need to know where the cook is going would like to follow makes a mean grown-up grill cheese an fried green tomatoes and aww just so much more they cook so good at that location only

8-28-2022 - one of the best breakfast places you can go to on north side of Pensacola. Consistently good food! Today we visit and they were busy. Our waiter Jamleum, was on it with great service. Whomever was in the kitchen was knocking out great food quickly! Check out pic from today! Wow! First time visiting on of these Village Inn’s. I’ve seen them in passing and they never really popped out as attracting the eye. Outside decor I’d guess. Service was great (Emma thank you) prices are excellent. 6-10-2022: another very good breakfast you can always count on! Food served nice and hot. I got the Country Music omelette with hash browns. 2-6-2022: breakfast time! Perfect country skillet and they know how to do eggs medium. Thank you for a great breakfast. 4-24-22 - breakfast before the days start! Always good service (that you Damon) and excellent portions and taste!

Twice in the last 3 weeks. The food has been a very good value/ price ratio. Ever person we interacted with during our two breakfasts were extremely nice and well groomed.

Friendly clean and fast. Not amazing food but good food

The HVAC system is not working properly, very warm, high humidity, musty odor, and mold growth all over the ceiling tiles. We will not be back until it is addressed.

They gave me burt black pancakes and cold eggs to go. It was honestly horrible with very nice hosts

Cute homey place. Wish I would have had the pie! Had the Reuben. Looked like a train wreck and not a lot of meat but tasted delicious! My side was mashed and brown gravy. Very tasty, as well.

We hadn't been here in quite a while, but decided to stop in. I have to say I was super impressed with the avocado toast with the everything bagel seasoning, and if you add the crab omg, you're going to be shocked! For $2 more you get some of the best crabmeat in town, I kid you not. The avocados were perfect. Service was great and the food came quickly. Eggs benedict were spot on. Everything was very fresh and delicious. I didn't even have room for their awesome pie. *Sadness.

We enjoyed ourselves and the food was great! The lady that served us was very kind and attentive.

Hit or miss. Close to house so we keep going back. Had a few great meals and a few 'nobody cares about your food' slapped together messes. Bring a jacket, crazy cold.

Love Village Inn. Always have. Especially when you go, and realize it's Free Pie Day!

Have ate there before w/ no issues. However this time I stood @ the entrance for @ 2 or 3 minutes, nobody greeted or tried to seat me . I sat myself and after a few minutes the waitress asked if anyone had taken my order forgotten me anything to drink. I told her what I wanted , she disappeared came back a few minutes later w/ a bunch of tickets for the group @ the other table. I sat there and waited & waited and still did not get any service. So I left , won't visit there again.

We come here often. The food is tasty and the service is excellent. Love the Fried Green Tomatoes Benedict

Food was good, but room temperature. It was freezing in there. By the time you take your second bite, everything on your plate is cold. Booths were a little grimy. Someone needs to get into the cracks and clean the window ledges. Some of the drop ceiling needs to be replaced. Prices are a tad too high. Family of 3 bill totaled $50 before the tip. Too many servers. They were all just standing around.

JJ is an awesome server and food is excellent here.

My wife wanted a turkey dinner, she saw on the website it was on the menu, but it was not. I ordered the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, and had two different kinds of gravy which was odd. We were the only two there but had to go back to the kitchen to find our waitress so we could pay and leave

So we arrived at the Resturant 30 minutes before closing and we’re told they had a very limited menu and then overheard the manager say “this is rediculous ” then stormed off into the kitchen so we decided to take our business elsewhere

Don't get me wrong their food is good, but apparently when "they are slammed" the owner tells them to take the phone off the hook!! I called for over an hour thinking it'll eventually go through until I finally go up there. There are more empty tables than filled, so I guess they are keeping the phone off the hook all day. The owner just lost a valuable customer!

Came in for breakfast for the first time in years & everything was DELISH!!!! Our sweet server Annaliese took the best care of us, with excellent recommendations on the crepes & pancakes. Everything was fast, accurate & staff was very efficient. Will definitely return, sooner than later this time.

Stop for a quick bit for breakfast at 9:30 am. Got seated but the server never came back waited 10 mins. Then left wirhout eating. There only 4 tables that had of dinners, not busy.

Clayton is a wonderful waiter and has an amazing sense of humor 😁 He brought out our food with haste and was very quick and witty :) I’ll be coming again!

Our waiter was very good, and helpful. It was obvious when our meals arrived, the cook was using too high a grill temperature, leaving the dark brown edges and the deep-fried color signified overused, dirty oil. I have learned a lesson.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Every time I go I ask for Corinne and she always goes out of her way to provide the best service.

I took my mom to Village Inn on a girls’ day before shopping and we were very happy with our experience. Our server, Corinne, is amazing, has a wonderful personality and is very attentive. We didn’t have to ask for anything really. We will definitely be back to see her as soon as possible.

We met family here over the weekend & we were all pleasantly surprised with the great food (they know how to cook an omelette & pancakes), prices, cleanliness, friendliness & superior service by Brooklyn!She truly went above and beyond for our family! We will be back & will be requesting Brooklyn for our waitress. You can have good food but if your waitress is terrible it definitely can ruin your meal!
