So good! We were passing through and decided to stop based on the reviews. SO GOOD!!!!! Our group ordered burgers and chicken tenders and i got the chicken taco salad! It was amazing!!! The fries were perfect too. Sadly we missed out on the desserts. Next time though!

Love the food when the owners are there.

Food is terrible, I can't even write how my last meal was because it makes me want to throw up. Grease, butter all the wrong things to taste in your first bite. It was not fun. Tried it again for some ice cream on a rainy day. The ice cream was melting faster than I could eat it and I think it was old and it just wasn't that great.

Get the yak burger and thank me later. Shakes are great! Cheese tots are my favorite and if you want a unique salad give jaks a try

Superb burger. The place was hopping, but service was still quick and friendly.

Our food was out in minutes and they seemed fairly busy. The staff (mostly looked like teens!) were very friendly and professional. Our lunch and shakes were delicious, no complaints! Facility was super clean, easy parking, inside and outside seating, playground for kids - will definitely come back on our way through town!

We were just driving through to Jackson and stopped here because it was convenient. Inside was a great place to eat, service was crazy fast and the place was very clean. Good selection. We liked it so much that we stopped by again when we came back through on our way home

Great fries and shake. The fish traded good but was soooo greasy. We just made a not so good choice. We've always enjoyed going there and will continue to do so. The service was great and so friendly.

This place was so good we ordered two different types of fries and they were so good I recommend the sweet potato fries with the fry sauce. They had a mini golf course and a playground right next to outside seating. They had dairy free popsicles that they make and it was so good. The bathrooms were so clean. The service was great and because we had a medium size group on person came out as we were ordering so when we sat down we waited about two minutes. They had death by chocolate and my family said it was good. This place is amazing and I would so recommend it.

Stop by, and you will not be disappointed. Great food and service. No line, no waiting and the service was great. Check out the Putt Putt course too. Nice way to settle the belly after a delicious lunch. I wish they were in our state. Thanks for an amazing lunch!

Fun place to eat with lots of choices, to hamburgers, to practically anything you can make with ice cream.

Got the burger melt through the drive through. Could be better. My favorite part was the red onion…. Other than that it was nothing to write home about. I would recommend a more seasoned patty and to use sour dough bread instead of rye bread. Ended up eating it with sauce and bbq sauce because it was otherwise pretty bland.

We always go through the drive-thru. The staff is always very nice, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is superb!

We went there looking for hamburgers and man were we surprised at the choices. Now we have to go back many times as the chicken sandwich and the mushroom hamburger we absolutely delicious! We had home made onion rings and you could tell that they were fresh. Way to go Jacz!

This place is a great little local hole in the wall. I recommend ordering your shake when you order your food, because they are thick and it will give it time to loosen up. I highly recommend the cheese fries. They're the best in Wyoming! Oh, and they have a cute little playground for the kids to burn off some energy.

Passing through town & decided to stop. I got the loaded bacon cheese fries & they were good. I just expected different cheese other than melted shredded cheese but the flavors were good. They even use real strips of bacon! My partner got the hot wings which weren’t hot & you had to dip your wings in sauce instead of it being on the wings. We recommend getting a specialty burger when going here!

One of the best eateries we have gone to. Food was great and fresh, service was amazing and quicker than a fast food restaurant. The young folks working here do an impressive job. This was a random stop on our way back to Yellowstone. If we are ever in the area again we will make a point to grab a meal here!

I have heard so many great things about JACZ, I had to taste for myself! I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries and my husband ordered the jalepeno burger and fries. The burgers are thick and flavored! The service was quick even though we were in a long line and the drive thru was packed! We topped it off with a fruity blue shake which I cannot stop thinking about! Definitely a favorite place for us and we will be back when we're in town again!

Best burger Ive ever had. The employees are wonderful as well. If youre ever in the Star Valley area, give it a visit!

The food is always excellent and the staff is outstanding

If you are visiting Star Valley Wyoming, this is an absolute favorite of the locals. Star Valley is fortunate to have 2 great Drive-in Burger restaurants. Jacz is a true Valley Branded eating experience. Service is phenomenal, and the young people that work here are exceptionally welcoming. The owners are very hands-on, including Grandma Ivie. Don't miss an opportunity to try some of their newest handmade Ice Cream.

Burgers are to die for and very satisfying. Milk shakes and fruit drinks are excellent. Everything is better then Red Baron in Afton. Do recomend you to call your order in ahead and then go pick it up or whatever your situation may be.

Surprisingly good! Most people were there for ice-cream, but we were there for dinner. I had shrimp basket and chicken salad. The salad was amazing. I'm still thinking of it now that I am home. I got a half size, and didn't realize it was going to be the whole garden. Although it didn't note it, the salad had guacamole, tomatoes, onions, green and red peppers, banana peppers, and cucumbers. Loved it. The service was great as well. Everyone was super friendly.

We love eating here! The portions are big and everything always tastes delicious. There is almost always a line, but the staff works quick and hard to get food out. It's definitely worth the wait time.

Excellent drive in, good for lunch or light dinner. Some outside seating available. Nice choice of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, baskets, ice cream and shakes. My fish "burger" was served fast and hot. Prices very fare for the area. Look for a 2 story red building set back from the road with a pink "Friy Sauce" tanker in the front yard. Signs not that visible especially if heading south from Etna. Plenty of parking. Drive up available, not posted as such on right side of building. I will be going back again.

There aren't a lot of food options in the area and we were hungry as we were passing through, so we had low expectations, but WOW. This place is awesome. Fast service, delicious food, and great shakes. The prices are fair for great food, good portions. Worth every penny.

This is the place to eat in Star Valley. Had a double cheeseburger. The Pattie’s are 1/3 pound and really juicy. Highly recommend stopping here!

Really great hamburger and sandwich place with ginormous milkshakes and burgers. Traveling thru on our RV or would definitely eat here..alot. They even have Yak burgers. Prices are really reasonable.

Food is okay but the problem here is that the tips you give don’t go to the staff they go to the owner.

Huge menu which worried me at first, but I'm happy to report the worry was for nothing. It would be a shame to go out to eat anywhere else in town. Not from around here, but the food was fantastic, place was spotless, people were courteous and fast, and I felt very welcomed here. Definitely would recommend

This place is a gem! My family stopped here for lunch after a wedding. They were friendly, reserved tables for us (a group of 19). The service was faster than basically anywhere else I have ever eaten. As for quality of food, my husband, and my son could go on and on about the cheeseburgers they had. We enjoyed some milkshakes as well. The environment was clean and fun. If we are ever nearby, we will absolutely visit again.

The only place to get a real true shake! Made with real ice cream and real strawberries... My strawberry shake is a thick and delicious bit of heaven! JACZ is family owned and operated. They know you by name and always have a hug for you. Ask for "Amy's Special" and you will not be disappointed!

I ate there 3 nights in a row while I was in the area doing work to our lot. Tremendously friendly!!! Service was very quick, prices are fair and the food was excellent for a drive-in burger joint! They even had "huckleberry" ice cream. I'll be back soon.

The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the loaded fries are amazing! Our bellies were happily full after eating here. We will definitely return to this gem anytime we're in the valley on travel. Also, the speed of service blew my mind!

JACZ Drive-In has a very large menu and is very reasonably priced for what you get. Everything is Great and Fresh! Eat in or take out, you will love it!

This place is amazing!!! The burgers and shakes are great! I got the Buffalo bacon blue cheese burger and hubby got the bacon cheeseburger. Very good!!! You can dine in or They have a drive thru as well but it’s always a long line out to the road. They pump through the lines very fast though. No longer than a 5-10 min wait either way. BEWARE!! We’re from Idaho falls and we used google maps to get there. We were headed south from Alpine and it told us it was on the left. Wrong! It was on the right it’s a red building look for the pink water tank painted “fry sauce” on the side. Worth the trip I will definitely be coming back when we do our scenic drives.

Due to covid we didnt get to eat in, the onion rings could have been crisper, kinda soggy. The pulled pork is amazing. The huckleberry ice cream was delicious!!!

An $8.00 double bacon cheeseburger with two inch-thick patties where a busy day group order took about 5 minutes. A rare gem that truly makes a traditional American hamburger.

Not impressed as others. Burgers were bland and bacon on burger....one piece was cooked the rest was nearly raw. Had good fries though

Great food! Friendly service! I highly recommend a stop at JACZ Drive-in if you are in the area. My family took a two hour detour just to stop at JACZ. The food is always fresh and tasty. The service is always friendly. The Malibu Chicken is particularly good, as is the Blue Bacon Burger. My kids love the chicken strips and the Mixed Berry shake is awesome.

Never had a bad experience here. It's their last week of the season being open and we are taking advantage. The owner even came out and gave my 2-year-old a free ice cream cone! I LOVE the loaded sweet pork fries. So much food and they are EXTREMELY FAST.

Great place to eat a burger and get a shake

It’s hit or miss. We’ve eaten there 4 times while staying in Star Valley for the summer. The first time was absolutely amazing, both food and service. I was so impressed, I recommended it to quite a few people. Unfortunately, the three times since then have not been nearly as good. Our fries have either been old or burned. They’ve messed up at least one of our burgers each time. The drive through window isn’t always open, but doesn’t seem to state that anywhere except on the window itself, so you don’t know until you pull up to it. Starting about 30 minutes before they close, the entire staff starts to look out on the dining room, visibly annoyed that people are still coming through the door, ordering food, and spending too much money for something that is only cooked correctly half the time. We’ve gone back because we know it’s family owned and mostly run by teenagers. The food IS good, as long as it’s right. I do hope they fix some of the consistency issues before next summer because it has the potential to be a destination restaurant. The last time we were there, the kid helping us didn’t seem to know anything about the menu or how to pack a Togo order. The new location is great and they have great fry sauce, as long as the fries are hot and cooked properly.

Best burger in Star Valley. In the Jackson area if we’re being honest. So happy they reopened and their new location is much easier for me to get to and family friendly. Bacon cheeseburger is great and their specialty fries are a definite plus. The place has been very busy since they reopened so if you’re going in on the weekend (Fri, Sat) expect a line to order and to wait a bit for your food. Drive through window is hit and miss so we generally call in our orders ahead of time - wish they would come up with a “pick up” line - since coming in and then waiting in a line to pick up your take out called in order usually results in it being a bit “cool” by the time you get it home. That’s a small gripe for a generally great locally owned burger place!

I am a High School Business Teacher. One of the classes I teach is Entrepreneurship and love taking my kids out into the community to learn from real life. This past week we took a field trip to Jacz Drive-In where the owner and staff made us lunch and talked to the kids about opening and running a restaurant. It was so great. The food was fantastic and their willingness to mentor and discuss with my class is greatly appreciated. I would recommend the Philly Cheese Sandwich! Delicious :)

Burgers looked and tasted precooked. Blue cheese looked and tasted prossessed. So much better when we ate there 2 years ago.
