The apps were good, I recommend the fried pickles, they were great. I had the Nashville hot wings and honestly I had better, but they aren't bad. They just don't taste like true Nashville Hot (little secret this style should come with pickles). However, I went to school in Nashville so it's not a fair comparison. If this was the first time tasting Nashville hot, I would have given them a strong 4. Service was amazing, atmosphere was great old style diner, and prices were very reasonable.

2024 update: the nachos now suck. Mostly lettuce and very little chicken. I wish I had a picture of what they used to be. Service was very good still. The atmosphere is awesome, the service was great. The nacho's were super loaded and awesome, like seriously i can't stop thinking about going back and getting them again. The banging shrimp taco's I had were also awesome. The best experience at a restaurant we had on vacation for sure.

The shrimp tacos I ate were absolutely amazing and my wife and sons loved the macaroni and cheese burgers. We normally only visit places to eat once while we vacation in an attempt to try multiple new places but the food there was so good we had to double back a second day.

No questioning how good my wings were. I asked the server if the restaurant had celery and carrot sticks. She told me yes and would go get me some. I had twelve wings and by the time I had 6 left she came back with my celery and carrot sticks. She told me she forgot. My sister also needed more jalapeño ranch but it was really difficult to get our server’s attention. The restaurant wasn’t that busy at the time so she had no excuse to be so slow, no offense. I would have given a five star review if service was better. She was nice although I wish service was better.

Buffalo chicken sliders are fire and the waitresses got dump trucks

This place had great food good service just felt very cramped to many tables

I am glad that I saved my pulled pork sliders to eat at home because the pieces of meat needed to be shredded. Bonus: My husband and I got 12 sliders' worth of meat out of the 6 that we paid for! The atmosphere is fun and festive, and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. I was impressed that the music was not overbearing (my head is very sensitive).

Wings are AMAZING 👏. Hot, crispy, and juicy wings. Drinks were well mixed, and service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

This place is a joke. There are very limited eating options in this area I guess is the only reason it's still open. If you like to drink, party and sit up someone's butt the entire time stuffed into a tiny restaurant and overpay for tiny portions of bar food, then it may be for you. We went there looking for dinner one night. We opted to eat outside because inside was tiny and crowded I'm a bigger guy and no way was I fitting in those booths inside. The tables outside are horrendous too. They are bulky and the bar chairs are so tall it's a tight fit against the bottom of the table i couldn't even sit with my legs under the table and the metal chairs were very uncomfortable. The portions were small. The food was just bar food and it was stupid expensive for what it was. I paid $15 for 3 little pork sliders the cheapest thing on the menu. I wouldn't even have considered it to be an appetizer they were so small.  We left and went to eat somewhere else after eating here because we were still hungry. My wife doesn't even eat much and she didn't get full either. Ridiculous. The parking situation is screwed. They have a tiny parking lot that adjoins the bar next door (which in of itself is insane.) Even in the off season. We literally had to park around back where the staff parks and this was like 8:30pm. The entire time there was a table across from us with 4 people, one was this really loud drunk Navy chick who was way too old to be acting the way she was. This is the type customer this place attracts, apparently. I went there for food not to drink and act a fool, I guess if that's your thing go for it. Inside there are booths crammed on top of each other and the smell is too strong to stand being in there for a minute. Never again for me. Seems like a tourist trap for people that just want stale beer and fried food.

Great spot for a burger! Personally, I love the Philly Cheesesteak and that is typically my go to! However, my husband loves their 50/50 burger! It’s 50% ground beef and 50% pulled pork. 100% Delicious!! Also highly recommend the fried pickles. So good! Everyone is always very friendly and we always enjoy ourselves!

Good food, but if you get seated outside good luck getting service. I had to go around to other tables to get ketchup and other condiments. To get drunk refills I had to go inside and walk past 2 servers that were just standing there talking and go up to the bar tender, he was surprised that I had to get my own refills but made sure I got what we needed.

Lemme preface this with the fact I love to eat here. I waited 40 minutes for a couple appetizers. Simply put, just do not order to-go food from the hostesses unless you enjoy cold, mushy pickles.. order it from the bar. Otherwise you can't go wrong here. I guess its expecting a lot for a 16 year old to multitask.

My husband and I are new in town and decided to try out this place for dinner tonight. So glad we did! Staff was friendly, food was delicious (I had a guac burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had shrimp tacos with fried green beans), and it’s was a nice, laidback environment. The owner/manager was extremely kind to us, and he was super welcoming of us bringing in our 1 year old. We’ll definitely be making this place a regular trip!

No dogs allowed - even on the patio. Our animal is more behaved than most of their employees. We aren’t talking a pit bull, we have a lap dog that you wouldn’t even know is there. Allowed my husband to sit, then made us wait 10 minutes to come say they wouldn’t serve us.

While most people have said it over and over. Johnny Hustons is good. You should try it Yeah, Yeah. We've been here a year. We have a child that is anaphylatic to eggs, eggs alone and baked in egg. So it's hard for us to eat local cause for some reason these places that have "home made food" can't ever tell me if their food is safe. No one ever knows what's in it... We risked it and went today after the lunch crowd to be safe so it wouldn't be busy. Service was great. They were extremely accommodating to my need to ask questions about kid menu items to make sure they were safe. Our waitress even double checked and put us at ease. Food was pretty dang good too. And we didn't even try the burger yet. ***edit*** Years later and still coming. I love this place. I actually forgot the above review. Divorced and this is now BF and I go regularly for date night. Fridays can be busy. But always worth it. Get the sweet potato fries. You will not be disappointed. I love the JH chips too. Remind me of house chips from northern restaurants. Love them. I always try to get something different. BF swears by the Cuban sandwich. Everything is great. And I sent people here and I work on Pensacola Beach.

My son and I stopped here after a Dr appt. In Pcola. I had known about this place but never ate there until today. It was so nice to have good service, really good tasting food and a price point was respectable. It was home run. My son got the 50/50 burger and he even insisted I try it Lol. It was very good. I ordered the Chicken wrap with fried Green beans. Oh, it was so good. Nicely stuffed with all the ingredients listed on the menu. I could have eaten 100 of those fried green beans! Good job JH and Thank you for putting out good food! Nothing worse than to go out and spend money on food that is just OK. Not here! It was delicious and I’ll be spreading the word!

We dined in and got takeout food. This place does not disappoint. You have to have the fried green beans! There are lots for choices on the menu. Everything was great. Service was great!!!!

First time here..what a gem you have here..I'm all about eating in places that are local. This place was buzzing..Everyone there was hopping busy and very friendly. We ordered and the server was very helpful with me on making a decision..the bang bang shrimp tacos and the shrimp salad both were incredible..we both still can't believe we have never been here..teo very happy customers and will be back soon..thanks to your great staff..

This of an awesome place to get a wide variety of American style food. I’m not a local but I’m becoming a regular.

Fried fish was a light brown color and mushy, not white and flaky. Onion rings were chewy and not crisp.

Seating is comfortable and spacious. Service was great and the fries were amazing. Compared to other restaurants in the area the price was lower and the food was better.

This is a great lively pub. The burger was delicious, salad was fresh and crisp but most of all endless French fries were the best.

Turtle was a very friendly bartender. All of the staff goes out of their way to take care of your needs. Besides running out of meatballs?!? The evening went very well. New menu changes are very welcome sight.

Sign on door as you walk in says best burgers in Navarre, and I have to agree, it was one of my best burgers I've had, and we were on vacation from Michigan. Service was excellent, plenty of food , atmosphere is sporty which was great for us. We would definitely go back if we travel there again.

On a referral we tried Johnny Huston’s and we are so glad we did. Their Original Bub was delicious, along with their tater tots. I loved the cherry limeade cocktail, it’s dangerously good! Can’t wait to try some more items, this is a must stop! Thank you Shelby for taking great care of us!

Food was outstanding, had a large family and literally everyone was going on about how phenomenal the food was! One of if not best burger I've ever had! Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is standard sports pub. Price was not cheap, but fair for the area. Highly recommend!

Karli M was my server. She rarely checked on me & even though I was dining alone, never spoke to me in a welcoming or friendly manner. It was so bad that I began asking myself if I had done something wrong!!!! Good food but the service was absolutely nonexistent. I was having a rough day too & really could’ve used some kindness.

Went here for lunch with my team. The weather was beautiful. So, we sat outside. The service was lacking a little. The young lady brought the wrong soda and didn't come back to check on us after our food was brought. Otherwise, everything was delicious! I really like the wings, but any menu item is pretty good.

It was great, Bartender Turtle was best he was attentive to everyone. Home made cut chips are best we ever had.

Shrimp tacos were awesome! Service was top notch. For craft beer people, you gotta try the 30A blonde lager!
