Authentic Mexican tacos. Best in Pensacola

Love the food but I was overly charged $43 for 3 burritos that cost $9 if ordered online. Will be disputing the charge and showing my bank the over charge.

Fantastic tacos. Decent carne selection. Grabbed an Adobada, Pastor, Carnitas and Campechanos. Each taco comes on one homemade tortilla that is a mix of corn and a touch of flour. Really good fresh off the grill. Favorite was the Pastor. Campechanos and Carnitas were close seconds with asada being the least exciting. Pastor was very flavorful and dripping deliciousness. The carnitas has some good chicharron pieces mixed in, chunky and good flavor. Campechanos is what I would get if you like asada, the added chorizo really gives it a good taste. Their salsa is really good. And they have a salsa bar with other sauces. Gonna say, this is my favorite taqueria in Pensacola. El Asador is good, but this place is great.

The chicken tamales were excellent, the homemade salsa as well.

This is one of 2 best places for Authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos are spot on, a greatly missed main staple for me since leaving AZ. They speak mostly Spanish (which is refreshing). It is a food cart with an outdoor semi permanent covered picknick area. So, it is more of a picnic cook- out atmosphere, it is clean however if you're more accustomed to a bleach scrubbed enclosed restaurant? You maybe discourage. It would be your loss. Happy eating!

Delicious Mexican food, such as gorditas, pozole beef broth on Saturdays and Menudo on Sundays

The guy that took our order was nice, and I really wanted to love the food but it was hardly ok, I’m pretty sure the beans served had gone bad, my husbands rice was not fully cooked and I wasn’t to fond of the topping ingredients half way covered and exposed to open air and bugs. The food we did eat was ok.

Fantastic food and ambiance! Fresh, delicious cerviche, seafood and juices like hibiscus juice all set on the backdrop of amazing reggaeton. Couldn't have been better, only regret was that I couldn't try everything!

Absolutely delicious! I had the birria tacos with barbacoa meat and my husband had the steak burrito, both of us had the side of yellow rice. So good. We’re looking forward to going back!

Delicious! The only thing I was sad about, was I ordered 2 asada and 1 Al pastor tacos and they all looked and tasted like asada. Not sure if it was a mistake in the order or if their Al pastor has the same seasoning. The asada was yummy tho! Their tortillas also taste homemade, not sure if they are. Will definitely come here again!

Food tastes good, but overpriced. $12 for 3 flautas and a tiny salad, make it 6 and then it will be worth. Also flies on food, no bueno !

I used the drive-through. I have eaten here before, and it has gone downhill. The majority of our food was very bland. We were not allowed to change out corn tortillas for flour. The best part of our meal was the refried beans, now they were good!

My new favorite place. Food is authentic, great variety. The toppings bar is phenomenal. The tacos and burritos are great but they also have so much more; fried yuca, soup, birria and empanadas.

Real mexican food no tourist tacos here these are real real hot peppers grilled not pickled i think one of the better tacos in town check them out

I just had a chicken burrito at the Pensacola Habitat for Humanity Food Truck Festival. Amazing! I will definitely be coming to the actual restaurant soon.

Why charge me 1.75 for toppings that I can get at the stand. I told her I had no pico or lettuce. She said it’s cabbage. & that I can add that and the pico from the stand. $8 for two small tacos? El Asador would NEVER 2 taco supremes for $6!

Tried this spot for the first time, today. We got the carne asada burrito, and let me tell you it was FANTASTIC. Really loved the food and it turned out that I worked with the owner’s daughter 8 years ago! I’ve actually had food cooked by this family before, and the menu here definitely represents that “made with love” taste that I remember. It was wonderful to reconnect, I’m glad we decided to stop by randomly!

Delicious, and very authentic Mexican food! It's got a kick to it, but that's how it should be! It's basically a food truck with a covered seating area. Very casual atmosphere, super fast and friendly service.

This is the place to come to for AUTHENIC Mexican food in Pensacola. Hands down the best I've tried thus far! Everything is made from scratch and served with a smile. The portions are generous and not to mention ¡muy deliciouso!

Went over there, they got the wrong order had to go back and they wouldn't replace it. Wasted about an hour total, feel totally disrespected. Have ordered food there multiple times without issue, I feel betrayed as a loyal customer

Tasty and savory authentic Mexican food. I got they're tamales and my friend got a burrito. They're garnish/sauce bar they have by the cashier has a kool selection of what you want on your food. They have a big bowl of they're salsa and it's very good. Everything they have has delicious flavor and it's very filling. But you can spend a lot here if you're not careful. They're prices aren't very clear, but as long as you have $20 for yourself and are just looking for a meal, you'll be satisfied for sure.

Although at first glance it appears to be a makeshift shack, once entered, the space transports you to a friendly Mexican coastal village. The food was all delicious and the staff nice and professional.

I've had better around town, but granted I went later in the night (they're FAR from being "bad" comparatively) My only complaint: meat was tasting dry/stale, I really don't think you should have to chew biting through a taco.... ordered about an hour before advertised closing time, but my wait time was that of something being made fresh.. maybe the cook was tired? Idk. (Will revise my comment if i go back again at a time when dry/overcooked food has no excuse)... until then they're a "second best"

Me and my girlfriend love this place. The tortillas are homemade and are absolutely perfect. The salsa’s are super good and have very nice heat to them. Super authentic Mexican food made and served by friendly faces. There are a few other good spots in town but in my opinion this place is easily the best.

The food here may be some of the best in Pensacola and the surrounding areas. The depth of flavor in their food, and sauces is absolutely mind blowing. We have definitely found our new place for lunch!

Was craving tacos and this place was opened on Sunday! Cute, little spot off of Pensacola Blvd next to Walmart. I got the tostadas, gorditas, and tripe soup! Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Also, the waitress was so nice and helpful in deciding what to order. If you are in the area, give it a try!!

Wonderful little cabaña of delicious, genuine Mexican food. We ordered a couple of tacos, chicken tinga, and tostadas also, which I couldn't get enough of! I am looking forward to going back for Pozole, which is served Saturdays only. 😀 We recommend this awesome little joint... AAAAAAA+

The food was okay but the wait was long and the prices too high for what you're getting. If I was rating solely on taste I might go back but taking everything else into consideration I'll be sticking to Taqueria El Asador, a much tastier and cheaper option.

Just moved down here and they had Pretty Good tacos like home made. Fresh and came out in a quick time. Better than the tacos they serve at the restaurants. They had a good selection of meats and drinks.

Nice taco stand with picnic tables, if you stay to eat there. I had chicken tacos and barbacoa empanadas. If I lived in Pensacola, I would eat here often. I'll be back.
