Worse food ever! They're from Guatemala trying to sell you "mexican food". The "owner" jonathan is the most disrespectful person, you need to be more humble . Remember the costumer is the one who gives you what you have! THE COSTUMER MONEY!!!

We are very disappointed how we were treated by your employees tonight. We eat here all the time we called 45 mins ahead to place a Togo order. they hung up on me 3 times tonight. The lady was super rude.we are very disappointed as this is our favorite place. We will no longer be customers. Then I sent a message on Facebook and it was blocked. What a horrible way to treat your customers. We are very disappointed in how your employees treated us tonight. We eat here all the time we call 45 minutes in advance to place an order in Togo. The flaunts were so overcooked and dry. I had the same thing about a month ago and they were so good I decided to try again. This I also decided to get a burrito which was not that good. The only good thing was the mango slush I had.

Wow. Best authentic Mexican restaurant ever. I've been everywhere and have eaten at so many Mexican restaurants. This beats them all. Not to mention the staff was super friendly 😎

Best darn chilaquiles ever. Great customer service, and family oriented. It absolutely warmed my heart seeing one of the gals sons, run up to give her a hug. I absolutely love seeing strong family values. When you walk in it's got a great large atmosphere, the building shotguns to wide open space so you're not feeling cramped. The air conditioning is amazing. I Bobtailed in my tractor, though I probably could have had my trailer attached, and found parking to be extremely easy. It was easy to get back on the road once I got my order. I had the chilaquiles with chile verde. It was so flavorful I haven't had Mexican food like that and a very long time. Definitely saving this spot for the next time I'm in Pensacola.

I asked for a spicy pollo dish. She said “we serve spices on the side”. I said ok give me your most popular pollo dish with extra spice. She said “ok will take 20 min. to fry chicken “. Ok. 20 minutes later dish served, no spices, I ask may I have spicy sauce? “ oh sorry we have none. Will take 30 minutes to make.

We had the birria tacos and menudo. As you can see from the pictures there were no leftovers. I am bias to my mom’s menudo and haven’t had any come close yet…. Until today! If I could leave 10 stars I would. This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious!!

Two years later, and I'm still coming back. I absolutely love this place. I go here probably three or four times a week. The food is always top notch, and it is probably the freshest and most delicious Latin food in Pensacola. I have had almost everything on the menu that my diet will allow, and I have never been disappointed with the food. The owners are tremendously sweet people. You can tell that they genuinely care about what they do. And it definitely shows in the quality of their product. This Torta is absolutely spectacular. Update: New Favorite menu item, Tacos de Birria! I will get pictures next time I go back.

The food was so amazing, I ordered for my 3 children and myself. Very reasonably priced for the quality you receive. This establishment is extremely clean and well kept, and the staff was so sweet, kind and patient as it was my first visit there. We will be back and I will be sure to share my experience and recommend to others. This place is truly underrated and one of Pensacola’s many hidden gems. ☺️🥰

I’ve gone to this place even before they moved from the food truck . I decided to come back just for the food 2 years later and it’s still just as good and I love eating here almost ever other day . But you should probably check your food before you take it home. Sadly I didn’t check this time and I came home with very dry hard meat couldn’t even chew it , it was dry yet the gortita itself was soggy . Hopefully they Are more mindful next time about what they are serving because their food is very delicious.

Absurdity is the level of flavor on the Berrian tacos here. Stopped in because I wanted more fresh lunch and this is some of the best Mexican food I've had in Florida! So yummy!

My roommate brought me to La Casita for the first time today, and it was a fantastic experience! As a pescatarian, I was pleasantly surprised when the owner kindly offered to make shrimp tacos for me, even though they weren't on the menu. We also indulged in some flan and tres leches, both bursting with flavor! I'm grateful for the introduction to this gem of a restaurant and will definitely be returning for more!

First time here. I ordered garnachas and tacos de birria. The menues all said $10 for the garnachas, but was charged $13. More than a 33% upcharge for nothing different? When I showed the nice young ladies the error, and showed the venues, not just one but all, she said the prices were changed. Did not offer an adjustment. I would be careful ordering here. Know what your paying for before you order.

Really good quality for price! Loved the street tacos. My friend got nachos and it was enough for 2 people. I tried to help her. They were delicious. A little bit of a sweet taste that I'm not sure about. But overall good food, place looks clean. I'll be back.

Love the food here. They do have an issue monitoring the online orders as they come in so anticipate waiting 10 minutes for your food no matter how far in advance you order. Worth the wait!

After dining at La Casita, I must say the food exceeded my expectations!! Opting for the Guisado de Res, I was delighted by its tenderness and generous portion size, offering great value for money. I left feeling fully satisfied, with enough leftovers to enjoy later. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the restaurant maintained a clean and inviting atmosphere throughout my visit :) If you're in Pensacola, you should definitely try them out!!

OK, I'm a sucker for dishes I have never eaten before. Not only had I never eaten a shuco, I had never even heard of it. Once I saw the sign inside the restaurant promoting shucos as a 'Guatemalan sandwich, I had to have one to round out my cultural education. Turns out it is a Guatemalan hot dog, split and grilled until charred and smoky. Some type of fermented cabbage tops the hot dog, along with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and guacamole. Weird as it sounds, it works. I also noticed Filipino food on the menu, along with a selection of tacos. The restaurant is clean and well-lit. Order at the counter, and the food is brought out when ready. Service was fast and friendly.

What an original & authentic restaurant!! It's near A&E on New Warrington near Vannoy Tire's!!! I got Taco 🌮 Burrias for $14 & got 4 tacos loaded with shredded beef inside!! a side of Au Juice, green sauce & hot sauce! I also got a side of Lumpia to go that was SO FULL of inside's they beat Ruby Gin's on Old Corry!!! The register clerk suggested the Taco Burrisa(?) for $14 & it was DELICIOUS!! I WILL be back & try something new plus Pancit so get ready for another review!! Wish I'd taken more pictures... I will NEXT time. I may be old but I know good food when I eat it. Try out this new "Latin America & Phillipino food restaurant.... they will NOT disappoint.

Was in Pensacola for 7 days. Ate lunch here three of those days. So good. I got the carne Asada fries, chicken tacos, carne asada gorditas, tres leches, and the FRESH pineapple juice. 🍍 Highly recommend anything because everything was delicious

I had a steak burrito and it's easily the best I've ever had. Even the tortilla was delicious and soft enough that I could bite through it with recently adjusted braces. Definitely going back!

Back in Pensacola for a short stint and was convinced to go here. So glad I did! The food was amazing; absolutely grandma quality. You can tell that there is a lot of pride taken in the place. One very cool thing I noticed that didn't have anything to do with food- pretty sure I saw english classes being advertised (in spanish) to help the community out. Very much a well grounded restaurant serving great food. I'm going to have to try the Filipino side of the menu out next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVED the food. So authentic! And the charming, rustic, but very clean setting made the evening even more fun! Oh, and you absolutely have to try the house-made horchata. You can't find stuff this good anywhere unless you make it yourself! I'd have pics of food if I could have exercised a bit more self control upon seeing my yummy gorditas!

Used to come all the time since they were off saufley, last few times has been terrible. Very greedy with the sauce and my food never has a good portion of meat anymore. Got 4 chicken tacos, chicken burrito supreme and chicken quesadilla Supreme this time and has barely any meat and only 4 sauces.

It is a true La Casita as a true American and a true Floridian. I was immensely grateful for this excellent establishment especially is center place location in the plaza. Very good food priced to enjoy and very real and represented their heritage in the food. Thank you for a truly rewarding and enjoyable experience. Jesu' Christo ti ama.

First of all...the owner Jonathan is a great person. At his restaurant you feel comfortable and welcome. The ground beef and smashed black beam tacos are wonderful! The chicken quesadilla is probably my favorite dish...although the ground beef quesadilla is a close second. The melon drink has the amazing cantaloupe flavor you can't get enough of! Give them a try...you won't be disappointed!😋

Tried the food truck at the foodie festival in Crestview looked promising I’m a huge birria fan growing up in San Diego Ca definitely has made me spoiled for real authentic birria , the food was okay good portions but definitely not authentic birria the meat if definitely not chuck roast it was ver very thin and no flavor :/

Started strong. First 13 orders was best food AND service I've ever had. The last 5 in a row have been a totally different experience. Not great. Started SO strong but now between the communication problems (that did not obtain to begin with) and the huge shift in food taste and quality, I'm bummed. I wish I could go back in time to when it was just the truck outside. Or when the restaurant side first opened up. Just the most amazing food you've ever had. Now.... It's ok.

This is a hidden gem. I had 3 pork taco supremes & a pineapple drink. They cook the pork with pineapple, a natural tenderizer, & they were terrific. The service was very quick. The building could use a little work, but I know I'm going back.

I work nearby, so I eat there at least once a week. Never had a bad meal. Everyone three is so nice too!

They just finished the restaurant, and it is super clean, and the hostess always smiles and is really nice. It has quickly became our go-to Mexican Restaurant!!

Very delicious food. I ordered the Pancit and lumpia, gringa( quesadillas), and the burrito with ground beef but I recommend to others to try the chicken option instead. Overall will definitely visit this spot again and recommend ordering through their website to save time.

We actually got food from the food truck in front of this restaurant. It was good, but the entire place is very dirty and run down looking. I just hope that the kitchen was clean...

Best birra tacos in Pensacola and the lumpia is great as well!

Took the wife there before going fabric shopping next door at a&e. We both had birria plates, which came with hot homemade tortillas, the consume, red onion and cilantro, 2 sauces rice, and black beans. Probably the best tacos I've had in 10 years. We will be back. It's worth the wait.

Service was prompt and courteous. The food looks great and tasted awesome! Surprisingly, the pancit and lumpia are in competition, if not better, than the nearby Filipino restaurants! The Birria tacos are a must! It's only a little awkward to order from a food truck and take it inside the restaurant lol

Visited their food truck as an Art Vendor at Art In The Park in Foley AL and it was fabulous! I was really hungry and it hit the spot. Super friendly as well. Now I will visit the resturaunt! 😉

Awesome taco stand along with lumpia

The lumpia was good. The tacos not so much. It's pretty pricey. We spent $36 on 6 tacos and lumpia. No drinks. Be prepared to wait a few minutes on your order.

Some times the tacos are great, other times not so much. It's like they heat up the shells and are very good. But I don't know if they get in a hurry or just don't think it's important to heat the shells but not good. It makes a big difference.

Worst tacos I have ever had. Overpriced, Americanized, and not worth it at all. Salsas, meat, and tortillas were extremely bland. Their pastor tacos were oddly sweet and the chicken tacos just greasy. Positive reviews listed are pretty misleading…..

Amazing!!! First of all… I’m vegan and they made me the best black bean tacos ever.. with Onion & cilantro… yummy!! Asked for their spiciest hot sauce and they have me a green and red that were so delicious and flavorful. My husband had the chicken burrito with some spicy sauce on side and devoured it. So pleased. People were so accommodating (especially with a picky vegan) and food was amazing. We’ll be looking for them now. I’m excited to find a place that has a delicious vegan option and for my husband too who eats it all. Delicious food. Delicious sauce. My favorite food truck in area!!!!!

My friend, cheeco, has been hyping up this place for a long time to me about how it's the best Mexican joint in the city. So eventually me and him go there and I get they're tacos de birria and a burrito. My friend got a quesadilla and a torta. They're spicy sauce and they're green sauce are good. They're fruit smoothies are pretty good too. The food was good as well. Me and him share our food a bit and my favorite thing out of the 4 were the tacos. The tacos were cheesy and the meat was flavorful. The other 3 things were good too but the tacos knocked it out of the park

Went there today, wished I hadn't!! Had the steak fajitas, my boyfriend had the chicken and fries. The menu is in Spanish, he didn't know what he ordered. Steak fajitas was strips of steak, onions and some peppers but had NO seasoning AT ALL on it! The rice was Uncle Ben's chicken pilaf and the black beans tasted ruined and soured, the small round tortillas were rubbery and wet, they were gross!. No salsa, no sour cream, no pico, no flavor. My boyfriends fried chicken was good with frozen crinkle fries. It was so bland! Only had coke, diet coke and sprite in CANS for $2 each, what a rip off!! We got cake too, plain vanilla cake with whip cream on top that had melted some in the bottom in a puddle. Took one bite without the soggy bottom part and pushed it away. The 'indoor' seating....when I walked in the door it smelled STRONGLY of moth balls!! I thought I was mistaken and it was from remodeling and some kind of stain, paint, etc. IT WASN'T!! In the bathroom on the back of the toilet in a decorative small wooden crate was a twist up air freshener and on each side was a net bag of MOTH BALLS!!!!!!!!!! 2 bags of MOTH BALLS in the bathroom!! No wonder I had a horrible headache!! I don't know what kind of bug problem they have but they need to call an exterminator instead of the strong smell of MOTH BALLS making their customers sick! How ghetto!!!!! After I left the bathroom I went outside for fresh air. I didn't feel good after we left, my stomach felt weird with growing nausea. When we got home I took some medicine and went to bed. Do yourself a favor and NEVER eat here!! Or go in the MOTH BALL room to eat!!! Fumes from moth balls are toxic!!! "According to the National Pesticide Information Center (NPIC), the chemicals use in mothballs can be toxic to humans and pets and as people are exposed to these chemicals that are released as toxic fumes in the air space of the home. Mothballs slowly turn from solids to toxic vapor. When you smell mothballs, you are inhaling the insecticide." Call an exterminator!! GROSS GROSS GROSS PLACE!! And I STILL have a bad headache 13 hours later!!

Gorditas were the best I’ve had! 🤤 I always get their burrito because it is also great, but the Gorditas top everything for sure!

THE best tacos in all pensacola. If you dont like spicy they have (supreme tacos) not spicy and have sour cream and lettuce. The agua frescas are good. And also the tres lechces cake for dessert is amazing. 9/10

Got two burritos and an order of nachos. Burritos were good and nachos were ok, but not worth the cost.

These are the best tacos I've had in Pensacola so far. I will be going again. I think their Horchata could be a little better but that's alright. Ive gone several more times and gotten Carnita Tacos, Carne Asada tacos, and Barbacoa Tacos. I highly recommend all three but my favourite is their Carnita Tacos They also have an off menu item they will make for you. They made me a California Burrito and it was really amazing and filling. As another review said before their burritos are a lot smaller compared to Cali and they are in the same price range. But sometimes you have to make it work in Florida.
