Lakeland's best kept secret. This restaurant is located in the old pizza hut building on South Florida Avenue. My son who lives in St. Petersburg told me about it and I'm so glad he did. It has the best food with large portions and cooked fresh the variety of sauces are all delicious. The restaurant is clean and the prices are fair for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend the beef sautéed it's absolutely delicious.

Nothing happens with the food, they should have a real Peruvian cook for the price that selling is really a disappointment. They should stop adding so much salt to the food to give it flavor, they make Peruvian food bad. I understand that sometimes you can't get all the ingredients, but you can do something, at least prepare a good chili with rocoto, not a chili with salty vinegar, yellow chili, you can also get a variety of Peruvian products at the Super Choice store.

Never had a bad experience until today. Was disappointed in the my meal. I got the #2 1/4 chicken with sides. Sides were fine but my chicken tasted like it went cold and was reheated again and it was so dry that the wing part was not even edible cause it was dried up and hard. Also ordered 2 soda cans and both drinks were hot. Super disappointed because food is always so good there, don’t know when I’ll be returning because of this.

Food TASTED good, but then I spent the next 2 days with SEVERE FOOD POISONING. It is hard for me to recommend due to that reason.

Overall great food! I missed this place from south florida and now it's in lakeland. Great 1/2 chicken meal super moist and savory. Churrasco is skirt steak and it's fire!! Must try for my fellow lakelanders!! Great tasting food!!

The food and service was so good. The owner made sure that food was good if I had any complaints to feel free to let him know. I never had that kind of service. Alot of times I'm afraid to say my concerns to anyone in a restaurant because of back lash. I feel comfortable to say something here. I will be returning I felt very welcome.

This Peruvian food place has a good variety of food items on their menu. We had chicken soup and aguadito soup, both had a good amount of chicken and good enough to repeat the visit. The burrito bowl and Lomo saltado were also very good. The food amount may be more than the average person can handle. They also have a salsa bar with a variety of good tasting salsas with different levels of heat. The ceviche is pretty decent. We visited La Granja for the first time in Orlando some months ago, this is our second visit to La Granja but in Lakeland.

Customer service needs improvement and some food was decent but ceviche was horrible fish and seafood was not cut into pieces, fish and calamari was raw. Not pleased at all my husband didn’t enjoy his food as a Peruvian you know how your ceviche is and that was not good. Also spicy fish was not spicy at all. I don’t plan to go again

Customer service has to be improved right away or they will lose all business. Seems like favoritism towards their own. My first 2 visits was fine, food decent. This last visit was an immediate "never going to return". Rice undercooked and super salty as were the sauces. The cashier tried to get me to pay for "the special" when all I asked for was a side of rice. Absolutely not. The staff may have changed because they were very pleasant a few months ago, now they offer no apologies for their mistakes or lack of knowledge of the menu. It took the cashier about 10 minutes to ring me up, she didn't know the pricing of a side of rice. Wow. I watched as she, "the manager" and the chef talked about me. Guess they didn't know that I know Spanish. Great job smh.

Very good flavor and large portion sizes for the price. I had the grilled pork special, which came with sweet plantains, rice, and black beans. The pork was excellent. They have a sauce bar of 6 or so options with varying flavors, all worth trying. We will definitely be back!

The peru food is good and the side of food for two person i love you have to try excelent food and the place look clean and new

Food was overcooked and rubbery. Ordering at the counter needed some better customer interaction and a smile. The music was too loud in the seated area. The entrance door was broken and did not auto close. The facility overall was clean but still did not feel welcoming.

Good food, I had the steak and rice and beans. Eat in ,take out or delivered your choice. Cute inside

First time visiting this place, the rice and beans were delicious. The only issues I had was the leg quarters too dry for me

If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady who took our order had a nasty attitude the whole time for no reason. Just for that I won’t be back.

This place is absolutely OUTSTANDING! All the staff were very professional & very polite! Service was excellent, nothing to complain about. Wife ate here once, excellent experience. Brought home food another time & the food was absolutely delicious. Today was my 1st time actually eating at the restaurant with my Wife & eating food from here the 3rd time, & it's never disappointing. The food is seasoned so well that one dosen't have to use any sauces. But the sauces are outstanding & a lot of variety! Wife is Spanish & we eat a lot of Spanish foods, so we know good Spanish cuisine. Wife & I will keep coming back! This is from a 100% gringo. I read all the reviews & I have to give mine considering the bad reviews I read. I don't know what happened to the individuals who wrote the bad reviews? Maybe staff members from the surrounding competition?

Without a doubt this place has tasty food, I ordered a churrasco it was the best, the staff was very attentive to the order.. I recommend it 🤩

Can’t believe Lakeland opened one! This place NEVER disappoints. Food is to die for! Clean inside and great service. There is nothing on the menu that tastes bad.

I really like the food but the cashier needs better skills around customer service (the one with the blonde/white extensions). Everytime I call and they dont answer or leave me on hold and when my son goes to order the food ... its her behind the counter doing nothing and only one person eating. Plus her attitude is always grumpy compared to other employees even including the manager who are all very friendly.

It was super good!!! It’s you wanting to try Peruvian food this place is the place you want to go.

Grear authentic Peruvian food, sauces, and desserts. Beer coming next week.

Excelente lugar muy higiénico muy amables y buena comida. Lo único que puedo recomendarle es que le bajen un poquito a la sal. La sopa de pollo la hacen muy subida de sal.

Cashier not paying attention. So the service was lacking. Employees eating in front of customers and drinking soda. I asked for extra sauces and I wasn't even ask which one that I would like. The Employee with the black apron in the back has more sense of urgency and work ethic than the rest.

Fajitas excellent flavor. Only food ordered (this is NOT a Mexican restaurant. The rest of menu was very unfamiliar to me - that's why Fajitas were ordered - but fantastic flavor.

Passed by this place many of times and finally decided to try it, and I’m upset I waited too long to visit it, this place is simply amazing, I ordered the beef suarteed. It was delicious and didn’t even need the sauces. When I tried the sauces I couldn’t figure out which one was my favorite because they were all good!!! Great portion of food aswell! Great service from the moment I walked in, the wait was not long at all. Will definitely be visiting this location again.

Food was amazing fried seafood , ceviche wow , Chaufa Rice . Amazing! Everything was wow definitely recommend! So happy to find this restaurant!

Seasoning was hit and miss. The toppings available kind of correct that but not totally. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Definitely a little loud when it starts to get busy and the music was a little loud. Average per person is a little skewed. Wanted to try a few different things so the total price jumped. Once you dial it in and find what you do and don't like you can easily get the price down. Overall a solid place. I'll be back to try more stuff.

This is not at all like the other La Granja locations I have been to. Food doesn’t really have seasoning and the staff is not very friendly.

An extraordinarily delicious dinner! Three of us tried a variety of chicken and steak dinners. Each was full of flavor, and the sauces that are offered add to the already immense deliciousness. How good was it? We ordered two additional dinners to go for tomorrow night. Natalia the cashier was especially helpful in guiding novices through ordering in a warm, patient way. The casual atmosphere includes many families with children, so bring yours. Do not miss this Lakeland asset; it is Peruvian cooking at it's best.

The chicken was delicious! The black beans were very bland. Needed sofrito or seasoning. But I will be back!

So glad it finally open!! The chicken was amazing!! Had chicken, fried plantains rice and beans, all very flavorful! For dessert had the alfajores, so delish!! I will definitely be coming back. I was told by other customers the ceviche and huancaina were awesome!!

Well a busy place with friendly people. And the food WOW! I had the Ceviche Mixto. Perfect blend of taste. The fish was limey a spicy just right! The white fish was excellent. New flavors for me I've found my new favorite food place. Can't wait to try more

I’m so happy we finally got a place like this in lakeland we moved here from Miami and would eat at the location over there all the time! the beans we’re perfectly seasoned and the chicken tasted amazing I will definitely keep coming back !

Great food quick service and good prices it may be a franchise but consistency is great I have visited other locations in the past I had el pesacado a lo macho and it’s great very happy to have the new place to eat here locally in lakeland been twice this weekend great over all experience can’t recommend it enough

Opened today. Black beans and chicken needed seasoning, lacking flavor but, there’s toppings and sauces to choose from to add to your food. Personally I prefer to taste food as it’s prepared and served. Will come back to try other dishes, it’s fair.
