Clean space, well priced tasty beers. Good family atmosphere too. August 2024 update. Their kitchen has a smaller menu, but the food is awesome! Had the wings and truffle tots and was not disappointed.

This is my favorite brewery in South Jax. Amazing beer! Always brewing something different, keeping us regulars on our toes. Family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You need to visit them.

We hosted our wedding party of 100 people here with the taproom buyout and it was absolutely PERFECT. The staff made the entire night so much better. Everyone was talking about how wonderful they were and on top of everything. They helped us set up the room, kept everyones drinks flowing all night and genuinely went above and beyond the whole night. Also, the space was perfect for 100 people + a live band and open space to dance by the "stage". If you are thinking about hosting a party here, DO IT. (I will upload pictures once we get them back from the photographer) THANK YOU LEGACY AND STAFF!!!

Great beer variety and welcoming of all people.

Only a three. The good: beer was ok not the best but not the worst. Was given attitude ignored by the bartender and talked about and snickers from her and her friends at a table behind us. So picked on dirty bar only able to try one beer because of slow service. Haven't been back since idk if I will.

I had 2 flights & Beer Mac & Cheese ($33 before taxes & tip), amazing collection of beers. Disorder was delicious Hazy beer, also Caspers Pale Ale with Chili. I'm definitely going back to try the darker beers, I was at the bar so the service was good but I saw a huge line in the rush hour but a older gentleman helped out the beer tender, so expect some waiting for your next beer if you have a table. Staff is very friendly and the room behind has a couch seems very cozy.

This is my wife and I’s favorite brewery in Jacksonville. The beer is outstanding! The atmosphere and bar staff are wonderful. Family friendly, and clear when the events that they host are for adults. Shout out to bartender Noah, he’s really good at his job, laid back, very knowledgeable about the menu and just a genuinely nice guy. If you are in the area you have to swing by.

Good beer, nice patio to sit with little kids, you can get food from the Mexican that is beside the brewery or sushi form the redtaurant in the corner.

Cannot say enough good things about the amazing team at Legacy Ale Works! We hosted our engagement party in their private event space and it was perfect. The space comfortably fit our group of 30 people and everyone had a great time! They were extremely accommodating and fulfilled our every need. They were very organized, well-prepared for our event, and even had extra dessert displays they let us use! Pricing was very reasonable and provided a good value for what we got. They have a great selection of beer. We liked every beer we tried. Would HIGHLY recommend Legacy for a casual brewery day or for hosting a private event - you won’t regret it!

On the Jax Brewery Trail. This is an unexpected highlight. My first time, after visitng 50 or so craft breweries around the counry, every one of a flight were excellent. This flight was five. Usually only two of the four, at the most, are actually good. We did select based on a rating ap, but all the beers were way above the average craft brewery taste. Will definetly go back and recommend to others. Kudos to the beer mastyers and owner.

Amazing brewery, each beer I tried had developed and rich flavors, they are obviously masters of their craft ❤️ Their German beers were especially good, better even than some German imports!

Came here after receiving a gift card for the joint. Their hours are posted for today 3pm-8pm. It's almost 5pm and no one is at the restaurant no sign or anything saying they won't be open.

They do beer right! From the brew to the pour. The staff is personable and attentive, the atmosphere is fresh and friendly. The new restaurant menu is great too!

I hosted a networking event for about 60 people and everything went great! Our attendees raved on the beer, service, and overall atmosphere. We will be booking this venue again!

One of my favorite breweries. The beer is always good abd they have a lot of options. The venue is relaxed and there are various places to sit depending on whether you want a more lively or serene experience.

Solid place. Beer is great and large variety as well. Had live music to boot. Will visit again when in town.

We reserved the new place and it was amazing. Great space for an event, food Options were great and tasted amazing. I suggest the Buffalo dip or the bread with garlic butter. Great for large parties, work events or socials.

Stopped by for a few pints, really quick service and quality beers

My fiancé and I hosted our engagement party and it could not have gone any better. From the feel being cozy and exactly how we envisioned it (rustic, nature-y, dim ambiance) to the food being fresh and delicious: my fiancé and myself along with our guests were so happy and impressed. He is also a N/A drinker so having great options for him and other guests that don't drink or were dry this month was such a plus. We can't wait to book the room again in the future! We had a work event here and everything from the food, drinks and staff were amazing and helped our function go off without a hitch! Their private event room was the perfect spot for our party. Highly recommend!

Fabulous place to sit and enjoy fantastic craft beers and wonderful wines! Sit at the bar, table or enjoy the great Florida fall weather! Comfortable, pleasant atmosphere with attentive staff. Legacy is the whole package for a relaxing afternoon or eve!

Good food good music good atmosphere what else can you ask for in a afternoon. German nachos and pretzel bites were great.

Great beers and great atmosphere! Some breweries are a little to high energy…Legacy is perfect vibes! We brought our 4 month old puppy on our most recent visit and had a great time. We love socializing our girl and she had an amazing time being the greeter. Carrie was great as usual and Rosa even let our pup give her kisses. I visit Legacy 2-3 times a month but allowing my dog will for sure increase my visits Thank you!

Great beer and cool hangout. We have been coming here for a couple of years now. They always have unique beers that I have not seen anywhere else.

We stopped in to try this brewery. A friendly barmaid was working and answered all our questions as the selection was impressive, and we ordered a couple of flights. All the beers were good or very good. One was exceptional, the Czech Pilsner. We then ordered a few more and enjoyed our visit, because we liked the beers and our barmaid made us feel so welcome there.

In Jax for a weekend and decided to hit some other breweries in the area (not Intuition) and this one did not disappoint! We had two flights and everything we tasted was solid. I especially liked the Czech pilsner. It surprised me because I am not usually a pils person. Loved that we could order food from Casa Maria; had chips, salsa, and cheese dip - all great. Cool location and atmosphere. Will return!

Great staff (customer service) and beer selection. Love our craft breweries in Jacksonville. I haven't picked a favorite beer yet, but I'm working on it. I think I was first introduced to Legacy at PorchFest in Springfield. Today, they partnered with Wild West 31 BBQ team for brisket, ribs and beer with proceeds benefitting firefighter family charities.

A delicious variety of beer. Loved the Mexican lager, tripel, and wit. The bartender Kerri was super friendly and helpful. I love that you can order Mexican food from next door. Will definitely be back!

Meh. I thought I read that they served their own food. The food was from Casa Maria. I would have to say that 80% of Mexican restaurants are at least decent - this one happens to fall into the 20% category. The beers we had were nothing special but we didn't get a good sampling so I would give them the benefit off of the reviews that they might have some good beers.
