Whit's is Amazing and has a paw friendly menu. Has menu for someone who only wants a tiny amount to those who would like a lot...YUMMY!!

Do not come here if you have an addictive personality as you will be back, a lot. I love Whit’s. I buy ice cream sandwiches in bulk! Their soft custard is delectable and their staff is always so kind. This is THE SPOT for your ice cream wants!!

Delicious custard. Even if you're not into the flavor of the day, they always have vanilla and chocolate. I had a hot fudge sundae with vanilla and chocolate today and it was so good! My grand nephew had a scoop of cookie monster (I think) and he loved it. He goes all the time. I visit Jax about once a year and take the kids as a treat.

So good! Dangerously delicious in fact. Their ice cream cakes are awesome for birthdays!

Flavors are fantastic. I do wish there were fewer emulsifiers and more “clean” ingredients but it’s the best in the area.

Awesome frozen custard. The menu is a little intimidating since there are so many options. They have daily and weekly flavors so don’t skip those. They have take home pints and quarts that are delicious also.

Good custard. The service was a little lacking, but it was probably due to the cashier being new.

Every location of Whit's Custard provides a variety of options. This is one of the bigger locations I have been to. Everyone was welcoming, and we were served quickly despite the long line.

First timers! Our Daughter gave us a gift certificate, so we recently tried this place. It was so yummy! Better than most other ice cream establishments that we have visited. Prices were also reasonable. We will most definitely be back! Actually I can’t wait! 😊

I love this location. It’s pretty far out of our way and we definitely have closer locations to us than mandarin. But, if you ever go in when Leiko, Patrick, and Drew are working, you will understand why we drive an extra 10 miles to go here. These three will blow you away with how friendly they are, how clean they keep the store, their amazing customer service skills, and their ability to keep our over dramatic toddler laughing. As a parent, I can only hope that my kids grow up to be as hard working and caring as Leiko and Drew. I can honestly say, this location could have the worst ice cream and we would still come here just for these three amazing employees. Thankfully, they actually have the best ice cream in all of Jacksonville and Saint Augustine.

The frozen treat was just alright. . . maybe I would have liked it better if the two kids running the register would have paid more attention to me and my family instead of talking amongst themselves. Either way it left a bad taste in my mouth and I wont give Whit's another chance to insult me.

Fathers Day treats, suggested by my son. Custard made fresh every three hours and lots of flavors to explore. Variety of cones, shakes and cakes. Lots of to go flavors as well. Indoor outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. Custard was delicious. Wonderfully creamy and less calories than ice cream. Definitely stop in and treat the family.

This place is sooo good, their custard is really fresh and mixed with almonds and snickers very refreshing.

The employees are all so positive, upbeat, friendly and nice! The frozen custard is amazing and a huge draw but having such happy service puts the experience over the top!

This is the custard of the gods! Old Henry George, fluffernutter, key lime pie.... I've never had anything bad here. You also have to try the black cow It is so good. I'm on a diet right now but October 1st it will be time to visit this creamery of the gods!

Saturday 3pm Stopped in for an afternoon ice cream. Got the brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie was too sweet and I guess too hot because the ice cream melted very quickly. Will come again and try something else. #VickieTravelz

I'm updating my review, from a past experience. The owner noted my prior visit and offered a gift card as a compensation to return for a true Whit's Frozen Custard experience.

Love their fresh daily flavors.

Top quality frozen custard with dog friendly patio seating. I tend to get the Whitser, which is similar to a Blizzard (like a milkshake without the milk). Bring your dog and get them a Doggie Sundae, which is ice cream with a milk bone on top. They have a freezer with lots of choices if you prefer to have specialty ice cream at home. I prefer to go out for a treat, which keeps the waistline in check. They are open late to satisfy those nighttime cravings anyway!

I've been by there but I've never had the custard there. There used to be a peterbrooke chocolate place there. Peter broke chocolate used to give coupons and teal deals which were offered to season ticket holders of the jaguars. I went in there once to use one of their coupons which was $25 off and they purchased over $26. And they just happened to have a box of chocolates for $27. I went in there to buy that box of chocolates and the people behind the counter could not concede what the coupon was for I went back and forth with them a lot of times and they tried to give me that garbage chocolate covered popcorn. I got so upset I actually bought what they gave me went back home figured out what was going on called them back and they gave me attitude. So I said I'm sowing a seed I hope this will get back to you. Guess what it did Peter broke is no longer there. This is about 4 or 5 years ago and it kind of looks like it's happening with all peterbrooke chocolates. I'm wondering how long they're going to stick around,. Are they publicly traded? I'm tempted to short them even though I've never shorted a stock in my life. I'm willing to go off that sewing the seed thing and put God's word to the test. Seems to be working so far.

Delicious! Our first visit and the staff was friendly, informative and helpful. Our custards were wonderful- vanilla for my husband and their special: chocolate with Fisher swirls and malt for me.

Best Ice Cream I have ever tasted! No exaggeration! Their ice cream is super soft, smooth and creamy! Maybe because it’s a custard ice cream? Whatever the reason, I love it! They also offer daily special flavors but my favorites are vanilla, chocolate and pistachio. Two scoops are not enough for one person, believe me, you would want more! 5 stars for this amazing ice cream place!

They have all your expected flavors and toppings. And every day they have a different special that is a cool, creative flavor. My wife checks online to see what that daily special is. I think she finds out on Facebook. This place is totally worth a visit.

I will try ALL THE FLAVORS. Best nearby option to me for ice cream FOR SURE. Also love that I don't have to sit there and decide between tooooo many delicious flavors. It's like they know what I need. Give me one option and call it a day. Then I get another one to take home with me in a pint/quart. Fantasmic.

Good ice cream but limited flavors. Only have vanilla, chocolate, and flavor of the day. Lots of toppings and things you can make. Quality of ice cream was good though.

Each visit my wife will try the flavor of the day. I just head straight to the freezer display and graph a quart of Raspberry chocolate chip custard. Nice place to take the family for a treat.

Hands down the best ice cream we have had in Florida since we moved here. The buckeye (peanut butter) was the flavor of the day and it was awesome. So rich and creamy. The vanilla custard was great too!

Whit's standard vanilla and chocolate are simply out of this world yummy - much better than froyo or ice cream. Then they create daily new flavors to tantalize the tastebuds...but their cakes....OMG... You have not lived (or died and gone to heaven) until you've had a Whit's ice cream cake!

I absolutely love the custard here. However, the trash cans are often not emptied and are overflowing. The tables and bathrooms are often sticky and uncleaned. The employees here are too busy looking at their phones and texting to clean.

I went at almost closing time and was apologetic because I knew they closed shortly. But a wonderful young man working there named Sam repeatedly told me not to apologize and was grinning the entire time while he made our shakes. He had great customer service. I work in the coffee industry and know how it was be annoying at times when people come in right at close but Sam’s attitude was flawless. I also love the custard.

Great Custard! Since we left the land of Andy’s in Texas Whit’s has been a great place instead! The vanilla custard is our favorite and $8 for an entire quart of custard to go. The cookie dough was delicious.

No better frozen treats in Mandarin! You can’t go wrong with the classic vanilla or chocolate. The special flavor of the day is always interesting. I miss the Armada flavor!

I know this is a popular place, so I completely lucked out by going midday. No line, no crowd, no wait! My server was great - she offered a taste of the flavor of the day (Sea Salt Caramel), and then helped me pick out a flavor. I got Beach Madness, and although I have no idea how peanut butter is "beachy", it was delicious. It's a little overpriced to me... that's why I only have it 4 stars. But hey - it's dessert, right? Don't overthink it.
