One of my favorite places in town, wish they were on door dash!

My mom and I come here every time we're going back to Jacksonville from Gainesville. This is the best place to stop in Starke for food. My mom loves the shrimp in garlic sauce and I really enjoy the tofu in garlic sauce or General Tso's tofu or the tofu in brown sauce. All of it is delicious! And the portions are very generous! Just a side - they get pretty busy during their lunch and dinner time hours because all of the locals call in takeout so calling your food in ahead or be willing to wait during peak times is ideal. I always choose to eat inside the restaurant so it's always worth the wait. This place is family owned and I love to support local. The owners are really nice and the flavors of the food are exceptional. Everything is made to order, fresh, and reasonably priced with generous portions. Again, if you're in the area do not miss out on this little gem located in a strip mall in the center of town. Absolutely recommend this place!

Everything is heavenly except the egg rolls. Don't get the egg rolls.

The food here is SO GOOD! Its my goto place! Employees are always friendly and food is hot and delicious! You cant go wrong with anything from the menu, but I must say the teriyaki chicken on a stick is my personal favorite!

Delicious, hefty served plates. It's our go to takeout at least once a week. 😊 Everyone I know that loves it goes frequently.

Egg roll was old and chewy. Had a large house fried rice, none of the vegetables were cooked all the way, chicken is boiled and tasteless the shrimp was bagged shrimp and tasteless. How does a Chinese takeout Place run out of wonton soup? I always thought they had a special faucet that came from China that just put out wonton soup.

Got food poisoning from eating here

Dirty and messy inside. Crab rangoon was only cream cheese inside, no crab no nothing. Egg rolls only have only cabbage no other veggies and are very skimpy. Sweet and sour chicken was okay but they need to change their oil because they were brown. Won't be back!

If you looking for a Chinese food in Stark, don’t eat here the place looked filthy!!!! And I saw one of the cook dip, their bare hands into the food without wearing a glove how disgusting. Their food tastes nasty( I got sick from eating here)

Terrible customer service. Took shrimp fried rice back and said no flavor. The manager said add soy sauce. Worst ever. Save your money. Go somewhere else. Food sucks. I do better at home. Rice isn't even fried. They throw shrimp over yellow rice. Pathetic. I'm calling my bank to reverse money from this rip-off.

Service is very spotty here. They do not know how to adjust orders and customer service got aggressive with us when we let them know the order was incorrect. They made us feel like the error was our fault and really did not have a solution to correct the order. Things happen but when we pay our money for our food it's not unreasonable to think it should be made how we requested. Now we are packing our food up to take it back and get the money back because no agreement could be reached.

Honestly, I tried to give it a go.. Some of their meals aren’t bad, like the chicken and veggie or beef and broccoli. Their rice is not your typical friend rice and the noodles are like spaghetti noodles, not lo mein or chow mein noodles. The real kicker tho that inspired this review was their “beef fried rice”. Don’t even bother. I had to fix it for my son cause it’s pretty pathetic. Before and after posted.

Stopped and ran in when we up to North. I would say this is worst Chinese food in my life. Smell disgusting when you walked in. Everything is greasy. Fried rice was not cooked, rice still raw. Broccoli was raw. Baby corn was brown. Chow mei fun taste so funny, like plastic. Food no taste. Only thing you can taste is salty.

Carry out only. The food is very good and the portions are huge!

The service was terrible the staff acted like they were so depressed, no decent greeting or smile told us it would be 45 minutes to an hour so when we waited and finally got our food it was cold so eventually it had been done for awhile. I hope the owner see this and has a talk with the staff. Cause I won’t be going there again!!

Decent for area. Place was a little cluttered and dirty but mostly takeout anyways so not bad. Food had a weird aftertaste like their oil was bad. Do not get their noodles. Rangoon was decent.

We have always had great food and great service from here. Order whatever your favorite dish is and they will make it right.

DO NOT ASK. WHAT REGION OF CHINA ARE THEY FROM. Check your Fried Rice or make it like the Mother Land aka original.

Chicken fried rice was actually small amount of bland chicken with yellow rice. Not fried rice; this place has gone down hill.

Love the Vegetable Mei Fun, I always ask for extra veggies. This is a perfect meal with leftovers for the next day.

Best Chinese in Bradford County. Well, the only Chinese food in the county. It's been in starke for almost 20 years and stays busy. Great prices, plenty of options, they actually have the PuPu platter (even though the last one I got, the ribs were literally burnt to crisp. Only happened one time in 20 years). One of the best and most consistent restaurants in the starke area. If you are craving Chinese takeout, don't miss this spot. Hidden in the tractor supply lot, it usually looks closed, but just walk in. Certified hood classic.

How do you screw up sweet and sour chicken!? Well this place knows how. Burnt chicken, nasty rice and NO sweet sauce. Instead was given packets of duck sauce in the bag. It gets the Made in China seal of approval.

Overpriced and they don't care how they prepare the food, this place needs to be out of business.

This is the worse experience I've ever had at a so called Chinese restaurant.... We ordered black peppered chicken last week, and it was delicious. We ordered the same thing this week with no consistency...... We called the restaurant to let them know we didn't get black pepper chicken, but general tso chicken.... With them telling us to bring it back... With a response of, "You get what you get!!!" I am disappointed, and it's ok... We will not be patronizing you all again.....

Been eating at this place since they opened in starke 20+ yrs ago. Always been my go to place for Chinese, I understand that sometimes they might just have a off day and food might not be perfect, never had anything that would make me stop eating here but I spent almost 40 dollars sat night and the pork fried rice literally had 1 pice of pork and 1 piece of onion.. hopefully it was just a fluke..

The only downside of the place is it's the only one that is in the area so you don't get much choice but what thay have and no delivery.

The cashier was nice but the food was extremely disappointing. I always order pepper stake in every Chinese restaurant I go and this one was the worst. Also, the "pork fried rice" was just yellow rice. First and last time I come to this place.

I would give this place a zero if I could I'm new to town and have a big family ordered 3 different types of lo mein, orange chicken and chicken fried rice pot stickers egg rolls and grab ragoons none of it was edible it tasted like everything was pre-made and then boiled no seasoning or flavor the orange chicken tasted like tomato soup the noodles where going bad tasted of moldy vegetables the crab ragoons had no crab and it was just horrible spent over 80 dollars to be unedible we had to throw out almost all of it

Horrible food. Nothing Chinese or fried about it. Ordered chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice received boiled yellow rice with boiled chicken pieces on top. Same with the shrimp. See photos. Awful

Decent Chinese given the location. Definitely not up to par with the ny/northeast Chinese joints, but for Florida it's good!

I ordered a plate with scallops and got one.. I called and the mom told me scallops are high and it was big lol.. it wasn't big btw she didn't offer me a refund or more scallops she just kept saying that they price of scallops are high.. so I told her maybe they should take them off the menu if they can't offer them and hung up.. it's really sad cause I did like going there

It was an okay meal. I ate it lol. Rice wasn't anything to write home about, no veggies in it. Blah. Our order was missing items. I was told 20 minutes for pick-up but when I got there I still had to wait another 20 minutes

Nothing like hotwok. Fried rice is plain. Rangoon's don't even come with free sweet and sour sauce.

Worst customer service ever! So Abigail, here's your review you looked so forward to reading. She was so rude, after placing my order for 6 people, I asked her to repeat the order back to me to make sure I had it right, her response was " you're the one who placed it, why should I repeat it back" then we get there to pay the $91 bill and ask to speak to the manager and she refuses to let us talk to anyone, claims that she's in charge. I will NEVER go back here again!!

I don't want to sail under false colors, but I did not eat at this restaurant. I went into a barber shop next door to the restaurant. I did get a good haircut !!! The aroma from the restaurant was enough to make me want to eat there, though. Locals in Starke tell me that it is a good place to eat. Sorry not to be able to provide you with any helpful information. Maybe next time I'm in Starke. (I'm posting 5 stars since I can't post comments without first giving them a star. 5 stars won't hurt their feelings, I hope.)

Over priced for the fatty meat you get. I drive OTR and have had Chinese from all over the country and thus is the worst I've ever had. It's take out and I had to ask for a fork which was unwrapped. I really wish I had read the reviews before I ordered as I now agree with the bad reviews. If you read this before you order from here PLEASE stay away and go to the wing shop next door or the IHOP across the street, it's what I wish I had done.

Really do ur home work on this place , I found that they have fail many health inspections and have had to close multiple times due to rat droppings in the rice . This is all public record .

Where's Mongolian beef ever no flavor no taste yeah it's taste and it's just the meat was like slimy like snails and mostly onions it really the worst one I ever had

Good quality Asian at a reasonable price. Understaffed last visit but worth it. Recommend them.

Only Chinese take out in starke

The food is really good . And the staff are super nice we drive 30min to go there and it is definitely worth it .we just found this place and we go there once a week . I would definitely recommend to give it a try .

Best and only Chinese place in town

My household loves the food from LinGui Chinese.

They are ALWAYS friendly, great food (never had a poor quality meal), and fast. They also are not overpriced.

We are vacationing from Massachusetts and we have not yet had Chinese food. Heard it is very difficult to find a good Chinese restaurant in Florida. We just visited the store the woman that met us at the counter was extremely friendly and very nice the food was ready and pretty much met up to our expectations it was very very good. Only difference was the fried rice was yellow but still tasted OK. I would say it meets comparison to our homestyle Chinese some items were even better. I would definitely go back here again if I was not traveling. Again no wait and very courteous service thank you. 😊

They're hot and sour soup is so so good. I get an entire court of it every time I go there. The girl at the front is super sweet and they are always accommodating. They will make anything you want as long as you asked. Best Chinese food in Starke or Gainesville. (Other than sushi)
