Odd but fun little roadside shop. LOTS of rocks, crystals, jewelry and non-traditional home decor. Large selection outside of pottery and landscape decor. It's different than anyplace I've been, especially in this area. Will definitely stop by again next time around.

Made a quick stop and I will say that it was well worth it!!!

One of the highlights from our trip!! Such a great place with something for everyone to enjoy! Everyone there was AMAZING and so accommodating to our huge family of all ages including the dog!!! The prices were very fair for everything and a 10% discount if you pay in cash. We will be coming back and recommend it to everyone! Just incase you were wondering...you can pick between a small bucket with polished gems, "rough"/unpolished gems, or fossils. A large bucket will get you "rough"/unpolished gems or polished ones. You can even pick your bucket!

What a great value! I was unsure of buying the buckets of minerals, but it was so fun for the kids! They had a blast sifting through and finding treasure. My nephew bought a geode, and when it was opened it wasn't a huge hollow in the middle. The owner let him do one more, which he liked much better. I talked with the owner for a bit, and I think he truly loves showing the kids as great a time as possible. He even threw in some freebies just to see the smiles on their faces. Honestly, I was blown away.

For the purpose of mining the stones and the gift shop with all unique cute goodies , then the beautiful pots and decor. It's a great place to visit of you're looking for something random to do thats fun.

This place is so interesting and super fun! We went for my son's birthday and the owner was such a nice man, he made my little boy's birthday special with a special gem just for him. It is so fun and the amount that you get for the money is worth it! 10/10 recommend!! Great for adults too :)

This place is fantastic! So many beautiful crystals, incense sticks, and a huge selection of colorful yard ornaments and bird baths and plant pots. Such a wonderful place — can spend at least an hour here roaming around all the fun things they have inside and outside

We went for my birthday mainly for the gem mining experience but getting there JUST WOW!! They have an amazing selection of minerals at good prices!! Everyone was super nice and eager to answer questions. Will 100% visit again 🖤

I took my great Neice and her best friend. They shared the big bucket. I mined the basic bucket. We were constantly surprised by the quantity and size of the polished gemstones and crystals! Steve helped the girls pick out perfect geodes and later gifted my Neice one for her birthday!! We even got some starfruit to take home. There are so many fun things to look at on this property!!! We are making this an annual event!! Thanks to Steve and his staff!

Oddball curio pottery store off US 27 in Highlands County, Florida. We've stopped off there many a time, and my wife often leaves with something for the outside patio area 🙂

Great shop and awesome ‘mining’ experience! We got the large bucket of natural/rough gemstones and were amazed with our finds! I’ve found gemstone mining to be a popular tourist attraction in many places but this was on another level! Highly recommend

This has been my go-to shop for spiritual and metaphysical items for years now. It is a family owned business, and they are always so nice and ready to help if you have any questions. The prices are very fair and reasonable as well! I’m so glad to have this store in our local community. Can’t wait to try the gem mining one day!

This store has a little bit for everyone. the pottery looks like most of it's from Mexico. So very nice and there is a wide variety of items. we just wish we had a bigger vehicle to put some of it in.

Had such a great time, that as we were pulling out to leave, we decided to go back in and do it again.

We decided to check this place out as a surprise for my son's birthday. He's paraplegic and I messaged ahead to see if they had accessible area. They were very quick to respond. We had an amazing time. My husband and myself shared a large bucket of raw stones and our son had his own 2.5 gal bucket. Within 15 minutes we were finding amazing gem stones. The owner also gave my son a fossil bag for his birthday. Steve was so very kind. He was identifying gems and fossils for us. My son even found 3 big arrow heads. I highly recommend this place for family outing, day date or just to relax. The gift shop is full of so many awesome things and the prices are incredible. We are sure to go many many more times!!!!!

Steve represented this place perfectly. Kind generous to the 🎈 Birthday girl and mom. Educated the girls on geos was very welcoming . Worth the 2 and half hour trip! Prices were under what metro areas are asking for most items. Mining Bags- polished and raw were well worth their price for sure 😄 Thankyou L.M.A. for making our Sunday a beautiful one we will remember to only get crystals from you!

This is my forever go to place for my incense and to mine crystals and gemstones. I love going here, they're the only ones who carry the scents I need in stick and backflow incense.

I’m the area visiting my dad and saw this place on our way to dinner. The giant Bigfoot drew me in. I had to stop. By far the largest selection of Mexican Talavera pottery I’ve ever seen. So many unique and colorful metal sculptures made in Mexico. Prices are reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’m regretting flying down. If I had drove, my car would be full of beautiful stuff. The indoor shop has sooo many stones and crystals. I did find an awesome cat I can fit safely in my suitcase, so I didn’t leave empty handed.

Nice selection and variety of gifts, gems and trinkets. Kids had a blast mining and left with more than a dozen keepsakes. Great people that take the time to really talk with you.

This was an unusual experience and I was skeptical but we ended up having a really good time! My friend and I got the small ruby/emerald and the large rough gems ,I think, and we split them. I wish I’d thought to keep my finds in separate bags as I can’t tell what’s what now but we both came away with quite the haul. Miss Brittany was very knowledgeable and patient. (Mind the tip jar). I would definitely recommend and I’m sure it would be a good day trip for kids. We had fun and will be back for sure.

It was super fun to prospect for gems and crystals. I opened 2 geos and got blue lace crystal and the other was quartz. They have a wonderful store filled with all types of stuff ! You should it out. You won't be disappointed.

We loved it we got two of three rough cut buckets and found tones of goos stones and a great peice of laborderight I go back took use about two hore to do our buckets also found sharkteeth

Grandkids came down granddaughter is interested in crystals this was the place! They enjoyed the sluice even my son and daughter in law got in on the action finding sharks teeth. Place looks like a tourist spot but well worth the visit! And did I mention their inventory on the inside of the store very nice!!

This turned out to be one of the most fun things I’ve done with my kids- even better than we expected! There are so many jewels and stones to find- pretty much with every scoop, so the kids never got bored or frustrated. We found polished stones, and also some uncut rubies and emeralds. The staff was so helpful and friendly and helped us identify our gems with a black light after we were finished. They have a great gift shop as well, full of unique gifts and jewelry. It was a long drive from us but 100% worth it and we will definitely go back again soon.

Mixed feelings. It was a fun experience but we bought the large bucket ($55- rough stones) we were told we would get 2-3 bags of stones...we got 1 bag, I don't know if it was just a bad batch as I would think the buckets are all similarly prepared. We also purchased a small bucket ($30) of polished gems, similar issue ( got about 1/2 bag..the equivalent of 2 of those velvet bags you fill up at souvenir shops). We drove 2.5 hours so I won't be making that trip again but it's a cute little shop and staff was friendly enough. I just didn't feel like I got good value for my money.

My money was wasted here. Got home, chime found broken. Not driving back for return. Had things that appeared to be wrapped up for the kids in Baby Shark giftwrapping, only to have kids cry when they found a rock with some sticky goo on it in the car, and then I went back and said "what is this?" And got the "what's the matter with it?" Looks.4.95x2 no return offered. Used books sold at bookstore sticker price. Also checkout problem using card. Wife said machine wasn't even plugged in, she would know. These people want only your money, buyer's beware

This place is an awesome and amazing adventure. Wonderful experience, friendly staff and the atmosphere is mystical and so relaxing. Took my mom for her 75th birthday and she loved it...fossils, beautiful gemstones, arrowheads, just awesome

Took a day trip here with my family. First time going and it was awesome loved the store and going through the buckets of rocks .. will definitely be going here again.

Very fun experience, my wife loves gemstones and the like, so I wanted to search for gemstones with her. We did the $55 large bucket, and she said that if we were to have bought the gemstones separately, it would have been a lot more.

Oh where do I begin...we drove 1 1/2 hours from Naples not to be disappointed!! I wish this place was closer but my bank account is ok with the long distance relationship 😂 Steve and his daughter Brittney were the most hospitable hosts. We mined for Gems. You would not believe the amount of gems we received both rough and polished (tumbled) and you can even take a bucket home with you. The shop has so many stones and crystals along with decor of all kinds. Lawn decor and all types of Mexican Pottery. If you have any type of love for gemstones or Mexican Pottery of any kind this place is so worth the trip. Thank you to Steve and his Family for such a wonderful birthday celebration!!! We will see you soon!!

We enjoyed a lot. This store has a lot of stuff at good price and someone you can not find in other similar stores. The staff speaks two languages, that it is a big help.

Lost Mines of Atlantis is a magical place. My family took a trip there today and got to mine our own gemstones and it was such an awesome experience! The employees all were so kind, knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. I highly recommend this place especially if you're a gemstone lover, I've never seen such great prices and such quality pieces, can't wait to go back!

Great place to take your kids or grandchildren

I drove 2 1/2 hours to get there last Sunday with my 15 yr old daughter and her friend who are very much into crystals and everything . We had a great time. Bought many buckets, both polished and rough. While we were there the owner was opening a geode and he let my daughter's friend help which was exciting. They got such a variety of gems and grystals.. the owners were super friendly and generous. I would definitely recommend the trip.
