What a great memorable experience to share with my mother. Travis and Jacoby were absolutely phenomenal and the lobster rangoons were to die for. I will say, it's chilly and you need to bring something for your arms. Overall a very good time, food was amazing and service was top-tier. I look forward to going back.

Wonderful place to celebrate a special event! Coupons available for a free appetizer, some really good shrimp. I had the grouper, my wife had stuffed shrimp. Very tasty and a super view. Attentive staff. Nice place to dine.

Such a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. First of all : hostess was absolutely RUDE, I had a drink in my hand ( about to be done it it from a previous activity that we had on the beach) and the hostess repeatedly claimed that I need to get rid of it in order to be seated.. ok.. no big deal, dumped the drink away and got seated outside, the hostess lady threw the menus on the table and walked away with some kind of attitude... As locals, we have been coming in here at least 5 times a year, and most of the times the food was good. But last 2 times we had dinner was soooo bad. We got Grouper with shrimp and the shrimp was overcooked and had a metallic taste, disgusting... Service was good. But the food was not worthy at all for what we paid. Now, We don't mind paying extra or whatever but when food is not cooked up to the standards, I really don't understand what's the point in going to a restaurant where they claim to be great! I do understand that it's a busy season and things like this might be happening, but they should have a personel that checks the Meals before sending them out not just focusing on making it a Bussines! At this point we are not even sure if we will ever go back after our dine there. Too sad

Everything was great! Food was delicious and freshly prepared. Chris made things easier by having knowledge about the menu, owners, and past owners as it relates to the Louisiana Connection. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time there.

It was the worst food I have ever eaten in Destin during my stay. The fish was overcooked, tasteless, the breading was soggy. There were four of us and no one liked their dish. I would not recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food.

The location is great. The restaurants very pretty but our server was overbearing and quite rude. It would have been great if we were allowed to order something without his opinion on what we should get. And exactly what type of restaurant with the word Louisiana in the name does not have red beans and rice. Also the coffee's better at the gas station and the chicken and grits. You really had to look for the grits because you get so much cream sauce, You don't know what you're eating.

Insanely good........i got a filet mignon topped with lobster and a garlic butter sauce....so so good. i am not exaggerating when i say the steak melts in your mouth. it was cooked to perfection. service was outstanding. the views of the water were outstanding. the food to die for.

For over 6 years I have come to here while I vacation at Miramar Beach just 15 or so minutes away from the Lagniappe restaurant. I am real stickler for good and quality food, and I have never had a bad experience at Louisiana Lagniappe! The atmosphere and scenery with the marina is great, and you can choose to sit inside or outside. Our server, Chris, was great and clearly has a passion for good food and gave us great suggestions, especially considering a gluten allergy in our party of 4. The other servers were also extremely attentive in refilling drinks and clearing plates. The menu is very well rounded with a variety of simple yet delicious combinations of seafood, sides, and sauces. All of our food came out in a timely manner and we didn't wait nearly as much as alot of other places. The Crab Cakes and Rangoon appetizers were 100% worth it and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Snapper Destin dish for the main course which also hit it out of the park as usual. The Key Lime pie is a must, with a decadant tartness and strong key lime flavor. If you're willing to spend a little more for a delicious meal with great service and atmosphere, visit this place, it will not fail to impress.

Little more upscale. You're going to pay $40 plus a plate. The food was fabulous. Waiter was kind and funny.

The food here was beyond delicious. The absolute best gumbo I have ever had. I also had the yellowfin tuna topped with crab meat and hollandaise sauce along with a twice baked potato. This was the first time I've ever had yellowfin tuna but it was the most delicious thing I think I've ever tried!! The atmosphere had a nice calm and relaxing ambience with very polite and knowledgeable staff. I'm sorry but I forgot to take pictures of the food

This has been a staple of a restaurant for our family for many years when we come down to Destin. Their sautéed crab claws and hush puppies are the best start to the meal. We were faithful to the "special" that they always have on the menu for years but ventured out to try different dishes. It's always the same when it comes to service which is wonderful!

We ate at some great places when we visited Destin, but this place was hands down the best. Reasonable prices for the portions, atmosphere was very luxurious and food was out of this world. Wait list wasn’t bad for a Saturday evening- they have a spacious bar to order drinks at. Bar staff did great as well. Filet mignon was out of this world and cooked perfectly

Deliah food and great service. It was so nice - because you could go in casual or dressy, and get the same respect 🥰. My husband had a sleeveless shirt, some people had baseball caps on.. while others were very dressed up. The steak was tender! And they were so patient with the teens in our group - who mis ordered a "medium" steak, and was too pink for them and quickly took it back to cook it more.

Still the best restaurant in Destin! Sooo good!! Everything about the place makes it a special experience. From the location to the atmosphere, the service, even the valet parking. It is a long-established restaurant with a Louisiana inspired menu, with a staff that has been together for a long time. We have had Jake as our server every time we have dinned there, and he is the kindest most professional server in town. It cost a little more to dine there but is well worth it!! We visit this place on every trip to Destin. Thanks for the great experience AGAIN!! It is a must if you are in town.

How In the world does this place have a 4.7 review. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone....The service was lousy and the food is mediocre at best...Had a horrible experience and never will I go there again.

First time here, and it was AMAZING!!!

Been going here for years. Service and food are always excellent. A couple of times, we pulled our boat up, went in, and ate. We Always have a great time!

Our waitress, Kelsey, was top notch! She was so attentive! They have people coming around refilling drinks constantly, your cup is never even close to empty before its refilled. The twice baked potatoes, steak, fettuccine, and stuffed mushrooms were PHENOMENAL!! The atmosphere is great even being inside, not outside on the deck. It was beautiful & classy! Our 1.5 year old was constantly throwing food on the floor & one waitress kept reassuring me that I don't have to pick up after her, that they will & to enjoy my dinner! It was such a relief lol. Will definitely go back next year!

We always love to have dinner here when in Destin. Since they don't accept reservations, we always arrive early to get the seating we want, relax and enjoy the evening watching the sunset.

Food was subpar, shrimp were undercooked and two RATS ran across the floor as we were eating…waiter saw them a stomped his foot at them

Kind of overpriced. $50 for a 7 oz. Piece of redfish with a half of a potato that was baked twice? I'm forgetting the $0.19 of iceberg lettuce that they delivered as a salad. This shouldn't be more than $30. Decent food but for the price you should be getting twice as much.

Was a beautiful date night for my me and my husband, exceeded our expectations! Lobster rangoons were the best we have ever had; filled to the seams with flavor and stuffing. I had the shrimp and grits, and as a shrimp and grits connoisseur, I can say that theirs rivaled with the best of them. My husband had the filet Oscar, which was comparable to any of the best steak houses we have ever been too and “the best steak in all of Florida,” for him. Our waiter, Joel, was incredibly kind and made sure our wine was topped and we were happy! He even took the time to take a photo for us with the sunset as the backdrop… I must say skills were stunning! We will be back for years to come.

We had a wonderful dinner, to start the waiter was great his name was Joel and he was very attentive and knowledgeable and very thought full of what we liked food wise. So with his recommendations we loved what we ate they were spot on with what we wanted. They brought a candle lit key lime pie for my girlfriend’s birthday. The overall experience is something you should when you come to Destin.

Our recent visit to Louisiana Lagniappe began on a positive note, with both our bartender and server displaying friendliness and professionalism. However, the evening took a regrettable turn due to a misunderstanding. While chatting with the bartender, I noticed some olives in a to-go container on the bar. I asked for some, and my husband inquired if we could take them to our table and pay for them. The bartender agreed and added them to our bill—or so we thought. Unfortunately, this wasn't communicated to the manager, Dani, who later approached our table and caused a scene. She raised her voice and called us names, including "What a weirdo, who does that?" Despite our attempts to explain the situation, she seemed determined to remove us from the restaurant. Her behavior appeared biased and discriminatory, as if she assumed we couldn't afford to eat there, given that we were a party of four seated at a larger table during a busy time with no reservation options. It seemed she was trying to get a larger party seated from the beginning. Dani's unprofessional conduct escalated as she processed our ticket before we received our meal and forced us to leave with continued insults. In the heat of the moment and amid the confusion, we left with some unpleasant words exchanged. Despite paying in full for the items we WERE served, we were not allowed to take our appetizers or any items with us. When we called to discuss Dani's behavior with the staff that night, they apologized and mentioned that she tends to create an unpleasant work environment for everyone. However, when I raised this issue with the owner via email, he refused to take responsibility and blamed us entirely for the incident. I've never been treated so poorly in my life, and this entire experience was truly disgusting and distasteful.

Everything was good, but not worth the price. They try to be an upscale restaurant, but they do some things that keep it from being worth the price. Here are a few. They asked us to pass plates and glasses back and forth along the table. They serve salad dressing in plastic cups with plastic lids like carry out. They served a frozen virgin cocktail in a plastic to go cup. The food is good but not great. I'm glad we went, but we would not go back. There is better seafood at a much better price. The hushpuppies are really good.

Tony is the best server that I have ever had. Everything we had was EXCEPTIONAL and then finished the night off with a Millionaire's Coffee ☕️

You just can't beat this place. Atmosphere, service and food are just amazing. There were 5 us there in vacation and everyone loved what they got. We visit this place every year when we come to destin!

We finally made it here after hearing rave reviews from friends, and we couldn't wait to experience it for ourselves. Meeting up with friends for dinner added to the excitement. The food? Absolutely perfect! Each bite was a burst of flavors that left us speechless. The staff were not just great but went above and beyond, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was perfect, setting the stage for a memorable evening. My choice, the blackened redfish, was nothing short of spectacular! It was a culinary adventure on a plate, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Now, about the wait... Even though our friends arrived early, we still had to wait after arriving. But hey, that's a testament to how popular this place is, right? The only hiccup might be the location. We spent a good 20-30 minutes in line for valet parking, but luck was on our side as we managed to snag a parking spot. If I were the owner, dealing with such high demand would indeed be a nice problem to tackle. Despite the wait, we left already planning our next visit. This place is worth every minute spent in anticipation, and we can't wait to come back for more culinary delights!

We went for dinner. They were busy, but there was no wait for the 2 of us. The view from our seats was nice. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious!

Underwhelmed given the price-point. Service is among (if not THE) best we've had in Destin over the six years we've visited. We had a party of three, and ordered the Bayou Grouper, Grouper Meunière, kids chicken tenders, and two drinks. The check was $140. While there was nothing egregiously wrong with the meal, there were several things throughout the meal we found disappointing. Complimentary hushpuppies were lacking flavor. The salad (included with entrees) was pre-mixed and wilted - as if it'd been sitting in dressing a while. Grouper fillets were breaded and were either not drained or cooked at too low a temp - arrived at the table with a mushy breading, which the flavor didn't make up for. Twice baked potato and the regular baked potato were ok, however the potato skin wasn't oiled or salted. I might excuse some of these mis-steps at a lower price-point restaurant, however for the cost per plate here, we will not be returning.

After trying several restaurants, this is still by far the best one. Hands down.

Went there yesterday with my family and decided i should probably warn everyone about this place. Everything is $30-$50 a plate and tastes worse than if my 5 year old niece made it at home. The old geezer in charge of seating people was rude too. We should’ve left immediately 😅 avoid

Being in Destin Florida a big tourist town, you have to expect high prices. Belinda our waitress was absolutely amazing and very friendly. Waiting on a table of 10 with 6 kids, she was very patient! Also the gentleman who continually filled our water glasses never had to be asked, he was right there filling immediately!

I'm a Florida local but a Louisiana native. I've always wanted to try Louisiana Lagniappe for years. I ordered a cup of corn & crab bisque as an appetizer and fettuccine alfredo as the entree with a side of house salad & cheese grits. The bisque had clumps of flour and was more like a chowder & dumplings. The cheese grits had ZERO flavor. The house salad was bland and the shrimp & tasso fettuccine had a strong shrimp smell as if it wasn't fresh. My friend had the twin tail lobster that was pretty good and flavorful and the stuffed mushrooms were mediocre. The water had a strong metallic taste and I can tell it wasn't filtered. For $142.00 I would say the hushpuppies were the best I've ever had. Taylor was our server and Mason kept our glasses full. They did amazing but we will not be going back. Highly disappointed. Smh.

I forgot to take the picture of the main course bc we were sooo hungry but the food was amazing the service was great it was kind a slow but it is understandable bc our waitress was taking care of almost 10 tables outside. I choose the ribeye and my bf choose the Bayou Grouper. Both were so tasty! BBQ shrimp is a must try omg so yummyy😋 hush puppies with butter on top with the black pepper 🤤 I definitely will be back!

This is my favorite place to eat any where around here. Food and service are amazing. The view is beautiful and anything on the menu is first class especially the blackened red snapper.

Possibly the family's favorite place all week. The price is a bit higher than most places but The bang for the buck here is the highest because the food, atmosphere, and service is exceptional. It reminds me of the experience you used to get before service everywhere went to pot. The twice baked potato sides were incredible. Everything was as good as it looks.

My boyfriend and I ate here on the last day of our trip and had Aaron as our server. Aaron recommended the "fish in a bag" and the Bayou Grouper and both were absolutely amazing choices! This was the best meal of the entire trip only to be completely topped by my boyfriend proposing on the dock at sunset with Aaron recording the entire thing and making it special! I can't thank you enough for how special the night was!

Aaron was a great waiter. He was hilarious and added to the great atmosphere. I had “fish in a bag” which was red snapper topped with a crab stuffing. We come to Destin 2-3 times a year and this is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We had tuna, red snapper and corn and crab bisque. Everything was flavorful and yummy!! The twice baked potato was delicious. The only con was our server. She wasn’t very knowledgeable or friendly.

The food is good but pricey. The service was excellent. For 2 meals plus tip it was over $130.

My favorite restaurant!!! The scallops are the best you can get! But unfortunately they don’t have the Grouper Kevin Anymore!!! My family is very sad because that’s one of the only reasons they went there. 😔

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant while we were in Destin. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was amazing and the food was even better! We tried the grouper Pontchartrain which was sautéed grouper topped with a huge fried soft shell crab, their tournodes of beef and the Mardi gras shrimp. Everything was so good and the service and views were top notch. The absolute best night out I've ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The go-to upscale seafood restaurant in Destin. Top quality service and dining experience. We started off with the lobster rangoon and crab cakes, which were delicious, and, for our entrees, we had the blackened redfish, crab-stuffed jumbo shrimp, halibut, and seafood platter . We enjoyed Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Lava Cake, and Creme Brule for dessert. We highly recommend Louisiana Lagniappe.

The meuniere grouper and the grouper pecan were delicious as well as the crab lump salad and crab cakes.

This was amazing!!! 😍😍 Our last day at Destin, and we had a lovely time. The dishes were ginormous and we had to split the dishes between us. Even then we weren't able to finish. Joel, our server, gave us an enjoyable experience and constantly made us laugh. We had the stuffed mushrooms, vegetarian fettuccine, and crescent City fettuccine. 5/5 for everything!

Fantastic seafood restaurant! My wife tried one of the grouper dishes while I stuck with Louisiana fare with gumbo and crawfish jambalaya. The dishes were some of the best or the best we ever had! You can taste the freshness of the seafood. If we are back in the area, we will definitely dine here! Very competent old school service as well.

An utter joke. From the overpriced, mediocre-at-best food, to the horrible service and management, don't waste your time. The most overrated place in all of Destin.

Excellent service, excellent everything 10/10

This restaurant has always been my favorite and has always provided outstanding food with great service. Unfortunately, it has changed. My family went to the restaurant on 5/28/24 and had a disappointing experience. Our service was okay but the food was poor. Two of our party ordered blackened redfish and it came out room temperature because it spent too much time under the warmer so the fish was dry and the crab meat was dry. Our table was located right under an A/C vent that dripping water onto our table. This restaurant has always set a high bar which is why this experience was disappointing. I will not return because the cost is too high for a poor experience.

A staple of Destin, FL. Louisiana Lagniappe has been around a bit and the food has not suffered. The filet mignon was perfect and the service was supreme!!! Catered for an older generation, but great food for everyone.

Best Waterside Fine Dining in Destin.

Mother’s Day 2024 I had been wanting to try this place, so I cancelled my reservation at 30A Cafe. The food was pretty good except that bland salad. Lettuce, oil 1 tomatoes 1 pepper 1 olive? I are 2 or 3 bites and pushed it away. The service was extremely slow. I’m used to the server, taking your drink order, coming back, taking your appetizer order, and while you are eating your appetizer coming and checking on you so that he can get your dinner order going. We were done with our appetizers 30 minutes before he came back and took our dinner order. He never came back to refill my daughter’s drink, or to even ask did she want something else to drink. My husband and I watched two other tables get there after us and get served before us. We arrived when they opened around 430, and did not receive our dinner until an hour later. By the time we got our dinner, I was irritated and I really just wanted to leave. I had the redfish topped with crab and lobster, which was really yummy as was the baked potato. My husband had the jambalaya which was tasty, and a lot of food, but it could have used more seasoning and spice. All in all I don’t know if I will come back, because we spent almost $300 and the service was just not up to par.

Second year we’ve come here and it’s still amazing. The food is excellent and there’s a ton to choose from. The wait staff is professional and prompt. The hush puppies are really tasty and a great way to start. Expect the best when you come here!

Friends, do yourself a favor and make this a must do for dinner. Have yourself a seat outside overlooking the water. Enjoy a signature cocktail, a cup of corn and crab chowder, and some scallops to start. Don’t forget to order the Blackened Redfish…10/10. Save room for dessert, the key lime pie is worth it.

Our server Tony was hands down the best server we’ve had in our one week in Destin. Maybe ever! He had amazing recommendations, kept our drinks full, talked to us about everything! Food was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Sit on the patio and ask for Tony! You won’t be disappointed!!!

The food was really good, the server was great... and the view was nice... but the hosts seemed disinterested in being there, and the hushpuppies aren't as good as the other location The pictures of my food are the Red Snapper special and the filet Oscar.. My recommendations listed are based on what I liked better, at the other location... However my wife commented that the filet was "so perfect" At the end our meal, she tried one of those espresso martini drinks you see on tv. .. really liked it... I tried a sip. It tasted like a grown fellers YooHoo! It was definitely a bougie price tag, to a down home cooking vibe. Lava cakes ain't no better than Domino's. Granted, I wouldn't need to go back to this location, but my wife said, "this was the absolute perfect date night I needed. "... so looks like we will be going back.
