They charged me, even though my brother picked up our tab. But it wasn't much. The bartender was amazing, hopefully she got it as a tip. Yes, My brother tipped as well.

Military discount. Many IPAs on tap. Mahi sandwich very tasty, thick but a bit slight. Bartender very friendly!

Definitely check prices before ordering so you don't get blindsided by the bill. Just 2 drinks apiece for the two of us came to almost $65 after tip, and there was so little alcohol in their mixed drinks that it wasn't even detectable.

So many wonderful local craft options and the staff was incredible! We came back after having lunch and I wasn’t drinking at that point and Randie gave me a whole cup full of pickles and olives at my request. We had a great time and will return!

Randie is the best. If you're in Madeira don't leave without coming to Mad Pub. You'll love it!

If you want a place with great service, great cigars, and great bartenders than look no further. If you don’t know the right cigar to pic out the staff will have a good suggestion to fit your tastes perfectly. If you don’t know what drink to get, bartender’s like Shannon will offer you the best cocktails and liquor known to man. And if you don’t know where to stop on a hot day to enjoy yourself, The Mad Pub is the place to do it.

WATCH YOUR WALLET AND PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL. My wife and I were on vacation near the end of January and we set up a tab for drinks. When I went to cash out, the tall, younger blondish bartender with a beard, wearing a backwards baseball hat, put on a big show about how he accidentally charged a woman's drink to my tab. After a 10 minute dramatic, academy award winning act on the phone, he told me it was taken care of and my account would be reimbursed "in a day or two." Never happened. We thought we'd never be back, but we were wrong. We have returned twice now, ensuring the same Loser waits on us, then we tip him a quarter. So far, he's actually saved us about $15 by not tipping him. We hope he stays here forever! Looking forward to our next visit!

Bunch of bar tenders not paying attention to customer, get off your phone. and the $8 for a vodka soda (well) is outrageous not to mention she didn’t hardly put any vodka in. When questioned nothing but a smart a$s reply.

He is not sitting in an office like most he is visible and out with his staff making sure everything is perfect which you don’t find much anymore. Mad pub is one of the best places at John’s Pass. The smoked old fashion here Is absolutely amazing. Shannon will always make the next one better than the last. I highly recommend getting it with chocolate bitters.

We had an amazing experience at MAD PUB. We like craft cocktails and were wanting some specialty Gin drinks. The Bartender AJ made us some of the best cocktails we’ve had. AJ’s experience and mastery in craft cocktails is something you’ll want to check out at this place, so many great drinks, great vibe, and impeccable customer service makes this place an easy stop if you’re at John’s Pass.

This a great bar! The manager, Randie, was awesome. Just call ahead if you want a game on TV and a seat at the bar. The bar tenders are wonderful, treating you like you belong here. Not just a "customer". Great welcoming atmosphere and best of all you can enjoy a cigar with a nice coctkail or cold one!!

I've been here many times through several bartenders. I have to say, Shannon, is by far the best one I've experienced. I'm a bartender by trade. She suggests drinks, makes you feel comfortable, and takes pride in the drinks she makes. She makes unique suggestions and we buy them!! And they are DELICIOUS. She is a gem and I'd come back over and over just to see her!!!

Manager was an absolute piece of you know what. Lied to me and wasted my time on more than one occasion. Staff is great and I feel bad for them having to work under such bad management. Would not recommend.

Fun little bar in John’s Pass right next to Cuban Paradise. It’s fun to get a cigar and a Bloody Mary, sit outside and people watch. Most of the tourists hate the smoke. By the way, they have by far the BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had.

AJ & Kyle, are great. They are very personal and really customer oriented. The place has love music and if you would like to take a walk is about few steps to the beach. Good for a happy hour or a chillaxing night.

I didn’t eat anything so I could not rate the food….but the service was super! I was out and about shopping for a few last minute Christmas gifts and stopped in for a couple cocktails!!! Our bartender was Jacob and he was delightful, just a well rounded nice young man that made our visit so enjoyable! So nice to share a positive review today to give credit to the younger generation! They have over 60 beers and they let you sample before you order! I chose the local beer Beach Blonde Ale. Very pleasant to the taste. Cool atmosphere of a real American pub. And they also have a cocktail "White Ukrainian" with Ukrainian vodka on the menu! It's so nice and cool. My husband and I will come here again.

Best Mad Beach bar! AJ and Kyle were awesome bartenders. My boyfriend and I came here every night on our trip and both of them made us awesome drinks and had great attitudes. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The service was outstanding. We are big bourbon, scotch, Manhattan and old fashioned fans. I am a sucker for a good old fashioned. It is hard to find an old fashioned with a presentation and mix like this. It was an educated and detailed mixing presentation and show. It was absolute awesome. The drink matched the presentation. That had their own special black label single barrel knob creek that was out of this world. They do not use basic Maraccino Cherries . Then smoked it in tobacco Leaf lines box and gave them to us in the smoked box. It is rare to find a drink experience e like this. It is a new favorite drink spot for me now. Well done Travis, AJ and Randle. 5 stars from me all day!!!

Tremendous bar with extensive, diverse craft beer offerings. Not only do they have the largest draft beer assortment in the area, but experienced bartenders craft exquisite cocktails. I highly recommend the smoked old fashion - perfection! The bar manager Randle ensures that patrons enjoy a wonderful experience that makes vacation a one-of-a-kind experience. Bartender Kailynn is an absolute joy, and will put a smile on your face. I'd recommend this as the most welcoming bar on the Gulf in the Tampa area.

A regular stop for us, the Mad Pub always comes through with any drink you can think of... You have to try their Piña Colada with a floater. Randie L and the gang are all outstanding bartenders and run a tight ship. Hopefully we will be back sooner than later.

This bar is the most expensive bar on Madeira Beach. Highly recommend Bamboo Tiki Bar or anywhere else. BTW if you're local they absolutely hate you coming in.

Kyle was our latest bartender. I believe hes a manager? He seemed to be training a new hire. He juggled training and serving a full bar like a pro. Each time I finished a drink he was quick to grab the next. We will be back just for Kyle!

Behind the bar, Kyle made me the best blueberry mojito I’ve ever had. And Nicole was so sweet and fun. Great spot. Wish I was local so I could frequent this great spot!

If you want Mad Beach Brewery go upstairs! Mad pub is awful! Cigars everywhere! Couldn't breathe one breath of fresh air - even on the street. Tried to go as far away as possible, but someone sidled up next to us and lit up. Ugh! Terrible!
