They only accept cash. I'm not sure why but it's 2024 and I don't carry cash anymore. It was the Caladium festival so I thought it would be busy. Maybe staff up heavy on special weekends. We won't come back.

After two weeks in Florida we had tried all sorts for breakfast but the food was the best by far from all places visited. We had a protein breakfast, corned beef and one french toast. No over greasy food, quick and extremely friendly service and a wonderful all round experience. Highly recommend stopping by, the town is lovely and tucked away, restaurant was full of locals eating and enjoying the atmosphere. Give it a go!

Husband and I came here for breakfast while staying in Lake Placid. Service is fast and friendly. They take cash ONLY! Have eaten here a few times. Eggs taste fresh but sausage, bacon and other breakfast foods don't taste freshly cooked. Probably why breakfast comes out so quick! Husband said his sausage patty was cold. My links were hot but any juices had dried up. If you want a decent breakfast fast it is fine. Will be the only time we return now.

At the entrance you walk into a small cafe-like area, with bar seating and small cafe tables. The man behind the bar said hi and told me to sit anywhere. I sat in the main dining room for quite awhile, they weren't all that busy, but nobody brought me a menu or asked what I wanted to drink. There was lots of seating but the openness created a cavernous atmosphere with sounds bouncing off the walls, very loud! So after nearly 10 minutes of waiting I got up and went back to the reception area to get a menu and moved over to the cafe area. I was pleasantly surprised at the diner style variety of dishes, but the prices were not designed for hard working locals, they were about 20% - 25% higher than everywhere else comparable and obviously designed for our winter travelers. Still nobody came by to offer me a drink or to take my order, so I took the hint and left.

We were delighted to find such a beautiful restaurant that servers breakfast. Food was very good and our waitress was friendly and helpful. We will go back for sure.

I liked it. I've been spoiled by the portions over at Oscar's but they seem to have an issue with being open during their posted hours which is very frustrating however I was very please with the food and most importantly the service. As with most places in this area the people are just very pleasant. There was no shortage of kindness and pleasant people here. You can feel a presence of God or some overwhelming feeling of comfort in places like this. I can't put my finger on it but it's real and i love it. The portion was not Oscar's but still plenty for 10 bucks. It was hot and came out fast. Cash only.. I'll be back.

My wife has celiac disease. First thing the waitress said was "I don't know anything abt gluten". She was not helpful nor kind. This changed the pleasant atmosphere for us. Prices were good and food was hot and prompt.

Awful!!! I called and asked and gave info about my insurance. Made appointment when I got there the lady said we don't know if we take your insurance so you need to call them. I already told them my information and they said it was ok I explained I also had Medicaid secondary she didn't even bother and said that's only for primary I said no been to specialist before which I used it. They have no clue about insurance and I am just warning how rude the lady was and how they don't care to help. We went in and it was very busy but turned out it was just a table of 15 waiting on a table. My wife and I have been there several times over the years and never disappointed. The atmosphere is clean, fresh, large, and inviting. The wait staff is seasoned, competent, and personable.
