My favorite Publix! Great Staff!!!! The stocking boys' staff are so polite, helpful, and hard working! GO PUBLIX! Fish market deli staff is great, too!!! Very conversational!

Busy busy place. Well worth the time.

I heard from a couple people that the subs at Publix are awesome. So decided to do subs for dinner during a recent stay in Lake Placid. People, spare yourselves. The chicken tenders weren't ready, and damn near every sun they had to slice more meat or cheese. The vegetables didn't look any more fresh than Subway. The price wasn't nothing spectacular. Overall, was a disappointment.

Love buy 1 get 1 and multi purchase specials.Just moved from Hawaii where limitations on produce and one store shopping very rare.The prices in Lake Placid store are More than Hawaii on select everyday items .Parking for Handicap limited also.We will explore other shopping venues for best fit for us.

Great place to shop! I made a mistake the other day when placing an online order for 5 subs and forgot to send the order through. I dealt with Patrick, and he was very sympathetic and understood that I was in a rush. He quickly made all 5 subs. They were delicious! When I told him that my mother-in-law had celiac disease, he offered to make a gluten-free wrap just for her. He went the extra mile to wipe the surface and use a new knife. His kind disposition and above-and-beyond service were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this store. The bakery department is worth checking out, too. They have the best birthday cakes in town, hands-down!

Employees are friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well-kept. The Deli could use a bit more speed to their step. Customer Service is helpful, and the supervisors working the front are always smiling and thanking you for shopping here. You will feel at home here!

Beware Publix shoppers in the lake placid florida Publix I get bananas 2 bundles, 3 times a week. I buy the greenest ones I can find. For the last 2 months half of them are rotten in the middle . Even the ones that aren't ripe yet. I know other shoppers at this Publix are experiencing the same thing. I dont know what's wrong.. but the big boss needs to fix it. Don't believe me. Buy some bananas

Love it! The delivery service is incredible to far areas, as we are around 23 miles (Lorida) from them and I didn't need to buy a lot of stuff for the service. They do charge a small charge to be fay but it is not to much either. They have few things I been looking at walmart for long time like the goldin Blu, eggs chocolate waffle, cheese ragu sauce, items are not available at walmart and with the best quality. I will use this service again.

Publix is my favorite grocery store. Always clean and well stocked. Delicious items in the bakery, deli, with readymade food you can grab and go if in a hurry. Publix carries the widest variety of foods of any chain I've been in. And don't get me started about a sub from the deli. Pub subs are the absolute best subs of everywhere! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Publix is always my first choice.

Customer service has gone way down. Some cashiers don’t say hello or thank you. A supervisor by the name of Angie, when I told her this, she said she didn’t want to hear complaints about her cashier and walked away. Many new front end people cashiers come and go. I was told that the new hires get more money when hired then some of the employees that have been there for several years.The old Publix was 100% better maybe if Publix treated the employees well, the employees will treat the customers well, the old employees at Publix treat you with respect and thank you for shopping. But the new ones don’t care whether you shop there or not. shopping is no longer a pleasure at Publix. I really wish that Aldi‘s would come into Lake Placid.

Great selections and friendly staff. They don’t do as much around holidays as the south Sebring location does but that’s probably because we are a smaller town. Still my fav location!

Worst customer service and entitled cashiers I have ever encountered in my 77 years . Yes I have experience. I worked retail sales for 23 years. Maybe Publix should consider training their help properly. This was the second time I had a problem with them not honoring sale prices.

Its nice, they have a separate building that has a decent selection of liquor, clean and the people are always friendly.

They have a great deli but the wait for subs is a drag so not worth for me to spend extra money to come here. Very nice people work here

Stopped in to get a sub and there must have been 5 flys hanging out on the loafs of bread. I would install some kind of door that opens and closes to keep them out.

As always, Publix is on point. I travel all across the country on a daily basis (truck driver) and I feel Publix is the best chain in the US. Highlands is my local store, and I have never had a less than pleasant & professional experience.

This store for the most times is always stocked up with what you go shopping for. This store is Kept clean and well managed, love the Deli Delicious sandwiches and more. Good prices and selections in the produce department, meats are very fresh with a wide selection to choose from. Go shopping at this Publix store and experience the experience for your self. No changes, more of the same for what we have come to expect. I like the fresh fish sold and more. It is a Publix. Like any other Publix around the USA. They have firewood and food and some adult beverages.

I work for Tropical Harbor Estates and we had an event and choose Publix catering for our food! Heather at the Deli was exceptional, she handled all communications and she was a pleasure to deal with and her trays were fresh and beautiful. The bakery was polite as they assisted us with a change at the last minute on our part they were top notch and the cakes were delicious! Then the seafood dept Jeffery was on point and on time with his shrimp platters and boy oh boy were they a big hit with our crowd! We will absolutely order from Publix again. Thank you again

Very disappointed lately with the quality of their subs, twice now I've ordered a chicken tender sub for pick up and they are putting less and less chicken less and less toppings this time quarter of my sandwich didn't have chicken. February 29th 2024 picture I'm about to attach Publix do better Who puts cheese on a hot tub on top of the hot meat drenched in so much sauce that the bread fell apart and I have to eat this with a fork do better Publix

I was in town for a spartan race. I always shop at publix and this one was great. I bought a mini cast iron skillet to use in my room along with some food. I'm never let down shopping at publix.

I have never had any type of bad experience in this store. The employees have always been super helpful and courteous. I buy in bulk from here ALOT. sometimes up to $500. Several buggies loaded to the max. I have never heard anyone of the cashiers ever make a negative comment. There always very positive, a pleasure to speak with while their ringing me up. Often, speaking of the Lord. Telling me as I do them.. to "have a blessed day." This country seems to be loosing this type of positive interaction and moral code. So for me.. shopping at publix "is always a pleasure" Their not the cheapest market but their interaction with me and store cleanliness as well as orderliness keeps me coming back. Their deli section and cooked products, chicken and such are meaty and not some cheap drum or wing you'd get from a bar. For me, Publix is a classy market.

This Publix is large and offers a great selection of products, I always find what I need. The staff is very friendly. However, the men's bathroom could be cleaner. I would recommend more attention to this detail.

What an amazing experience- This store is always fabulous, and the staff is always super friendly and extremely helpful, but Ohhhhhh.... Let me tell you about their Subs!!! I kept hearing how much better a Publix sub was over that yellow and green sandwich shop down the road, but I never really believed it. I was like "Come on ... How much different can a sandwich be...really?!?" 🤨 Well, today I found out!! To be honest, I was a little disappointed at first. I ordered their "Turkey Sub"-see the pic- it's actually Vegan❤️ (yay, and THANK YOU!), but they didn't have all the ingredients they needed, so I decided to go instead with their vegetarian selection, the "Spicy Falafel". O...M...G... There are just no words to say how wonderful everything was! This sweet little lady who was creating my sandwich went so far out of her way to be sure everything was just how I wanted it. I've never seen someone so meticulous, a true sandwich artist, being sure everything was just perfect. From the amazing, fresh baked whole wheat roll to the spicy, delicious Falafel and Tatszuki sauce, the Hummus with Cucumber, Tomato, Spinach, Hot Peppers...just beautiful, super fresh, yummy veggies all over.... everything was sooooh mouthwatering-ly good! This wasn't just a sandwich, it was a delicious, wonderful experience that I hope to be repeating many times. Again- It is such a true joy to have some nice vegan and vegetarian options- I really appreciate your taking the lead on this, here and in your grocery section. Thanks and I will look forward to seeing you soon! 🙋🏼‍♀️

A little expensive but great selection

bakery please quit switching the crust on the key lime pie please switch it back that pie crust so hard feels like a tart instead of pie please put it back to thin crust and easy to cut the one I was looking forward to the soft crust and easy to cut but it rock hard

What a great store to shop for groceries. Went on a Sunday night and yet plenty of help on and shelves were fully stocked. Meat case and deli still offering plenty of choices. Just the right bogos for me tonight and a fresh pumpkin pie for dessert. It’s my store! #stevensleavin

I love this Publix. It doesn't feel like a big corporate grocery store but instead feels like a small town grocery store except it's big and has a lot of things. It has everything you need and more. They have great two for one specials as well because there's a couple bins that have various items that are two for one which I really like. The people who work there are amazing when it comes to customer service and being friendly. I've been there three times now and every single time the people there are so nice and friendly that work there. From the customer service counter to the person at the cashier to the people that bag your groceries You can't find nicer and more friendlier people. I really like this grocery store..
