We were well received and seated promptly I was impressed they contacted back me the day before from my voicemail asking about a reservation for our visit. Food was as good as I remember. My friend was impressed, not having had “real good food” in the area as of yet.

A leisurely and delicious brunch at Mansur's this Sunday! From the homemade french bread, seafood gumbo and divine seafood brunch choices...yum! I had seafood crepes with creamed spinach and fresh fruit. My Dad had the awesome Seafood Omelette (shrimp and lump crabmeat) with brabant potatoes. The seafood with mornay sauce was used for both crepes and omelette...very delicate and savory sauce. Our waiter, Zack, was very attentive to the table and the piano music in the background lends an air of refinement. In true Mansur's style, everything was done to perfection!

Nathan was my waiter very good service. I had the visiting fish entree and the Napa salad. Salad was excellent.

We got the Oysters as an appetizer and they were fantastic. Friends of ours ordered the catfish and it was also enjoyable. I was actually excited with getting the entree if the appetizers were this good, however it was far from good. I got the duck and i was told it was so good it represented their name. The duck was cooked really well but no flavor it lacked salt. The sauce added a mild flavor to the duck but was far from fantastic compared to the flavors the oysters had. Then I tasted the risotto and was completely disgusted. The worst risotto I ever tasted!!! My friend ordered a lemon chicken that I tasted and it was fantastic. Needless to say some things are worth coming back for others never again.

Local institution for great food. Ideal for a business lunch or a great plate of roasted oysters. Hidden gem in the menu: shrimp and grits. Highly recommend and a can't miss spot

This is one of the nicest, most clean, relaxing, and calm environments to have a good dinner with family, or with someone else. The piano music was also a nice addition. This is perfect for a nice night out to treat yourself. Bread pudding: sweet, hot, and savory 9/10 Mono Nocho: cold, tart, sweet, and fresh 8/10 Veal: hot, creamy, savory, and delicious 10/10 Overall rating 9.5/10

Mansurs on the Boulevard is my go-to spot for fine dining in Baton Rouge. The food is amazing and the service is always great. They have a pianist that plays often during dinner and it really brings a lovely ambience to the restaurant. I have had many dinners as well as a family event here and I will continue to do so in the future. Thank you for being the best Baton Rouge has to offer!

What a wonderful establishment! Driving cross country and stopped for a wonderful dinner. Waiter Blake was the best ever ! His suggestions for dinner were spot with on. The food was subservient as was service. You won’t be disappointed here!

Best Seafood and experience in Baton Rouge so far! I had the Chargrilled oysters (Amazing), Cedar Plank Redfish with BBQ shrimp(Incredible and apparently their signature dish), and an excellent old fashioned (w/bulleit rye) that the bartender hand delivered to the table. Great service and atmosphere with a wonderful live jazz guitar player. Will be back for more!

We visited for a family dinner. Great service! We shared the Acadiana Eggrolls and Chargrilled Oysters topped with crab. The egg rolls were my favorite. Light and crispy, seasoned and filled with veggies along with duck and shrimp and dipping sauces. Our oysters were too salty. However, our entrées were delicious and I enjoyed the fresh bread and butter. We had the fish special, a Mahi that was absolutely delicious, along with the tasty redfish on a cedar plank and the seafood salad. We were too full for dessert. We were seated next to a busy private party room door that kept opening and closing right beside our table. I will choose a different area next time.

This was our first time eating at Mansurs on the Boulevard ( me and my friends). The atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. The food was very delicious and we didn't have to wait to get anything. We definitely will be going back again.

I love the seafood here. The servers are efficient and friendly. Ambience is excellent.

Unfortunately, with my dairy allergy, there were not a lot of options. Salad is typically safe, but eliminating the dairy components wasn't much of salad. I wouldn't recommend this if you do have this particular dietary restriction as 97% of their dishes are covered or smothered in cheese and butter. Which is disappointing, really, because I'm sure they use quality ingredients which would shine if not drowed. Great ambiance with the live piano!

so I attended mansurs last night for my birthday. The food was amazing. but wat i did not enjoy was the racial profiling from the manager which I sat back and observed with my own eyes. we enter into the restaurant with three kids two toddlers and a new born which both toddlers had there tablets to keep them contained. the table across from us which was two older white couple did not like the fact we had our children even though they where not bothering anyone. as the manager came to their table I listen to the whole exchange between them. He told them our kids should not be allowed in the restaurant and he wish he could put us out be he can not. it's not in there policy for no kids. them he approached our table with and attitude says turn down the tablets and walks away angry . food was great but I will never go back I bring my children into stabs and flemings on da regular I have never had this problem. I see this no other way but as racial profiling. if you are not a kid friendly restaurant u should definitely state that in ur policy.

Absolutley amazing dinner for my girlfirends birthday, our server was great and the food was amazing. the romantic atmosphere was perfect for me and her. I 100% will be going again.

Amazing Old South Baton Rouge local atmosphere! Golden tile fish was outstanding! The service was exceptional! Recommend this to anyone who wants a true Louisiana fine dining experience!

For a high end dining experience, Mansurs cannot be beat in Baton Rouge. The food is chef great and the prices are less than expected for thus.

Visited for the wife's birthday and she loved it. I also saw that the owners were an intricate part of the business and the workers were pleased to accommodate their values. Wonderful.

Quiet, delicious fish, good service, white tablecloths!

From what we were able to see, this place is a semi-formal place, and the atmosphere was definitely stuck-up. My wife and I have been to formal restaurants overseas, and we never felt uncomfortable.

Booked a reservation for 8 ppl for a 50th wedding anniversary. Sat us immediately next to the piano. Normal hearing ppl could not hear, hard of hearing ppl (the woman celebrating her 50th could not hear anything). This made the dinner uncomfortable. Very disappointing. The table should not be there at all! ( Regardless of hearing ability). It really took away from our celebration . The food was okay. The waitor was busy and was asked to do something by our group. He walked away agitated. I could tell he was and was watching him... Then heard him say"Jesus Christ" called him on it. He apologized. I know this work is hard, I've done it, so I get it. The main point in a nice restaurant no one should sit immediately next to a piano. The dinner cost 900 Dollars after the tip. Very distressing. Will never go there again..

We had a great experience for a Friday lunch at Mansurs. We ordered some cocktails; the Not Your Granny’s Manhattan was very tasty and my husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. We started with two orders of the charbroiled oysters, one regular and one with everything (bacon, crabmeat, jalapeños). We preferred the “plain” charbroiled; the extra toppings on the other dozen drown out the flavor of the oysters. Everything was still really good. I had the Duck Mansur which was just ok. Nothing wrong with it, but I wouldn’t order it again. My husband had the ribeye and it was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked! We were too full for desserts but they sounded good. Our waitress Ashley was phenomenal as well. I will definitely visit again when I’m back in town!

My favorite BR restaurant. Always fantastic drinks, great wine, wonderful food and a lovely experience every time. The chefs specials are always worth a try, but the Duck Mansur cannot be beat.

Incredible place to eat and drink

If you find yourself in Baton Rouge, Mansurs is the place for excellent food and service in a clubby atmosphere, we were able to walk from our hotel, which is an added bonus. Crab cakes are a great appetizer and a sharable portion. Roasted oysters with crispy French bread for dipping into the garlic butter- yum. Professional bar, attentive service. The redfish was white and buttery.

My wife and I were visiting Baton Rouge and luckily happened upon this excellent find. Our waitress Adaire, started by asking if we had any dietary allergies or needs. She was a pleasure, very nice and attentive. We started with two old fashion drinks from their full bar, they were excellent and that is hard to find. We ordered the Creole Chicken Piccata and seafood crepes with shrimp and crab, We shared both and my wife and I can't say enough about the chef's abilities, What a delight. The atmosphere has a classic air dark wood and white table cloths. Very nice but not over the top. This is the place where the locals come for a nice meal and cocktails. I finished with an excellent cappuccino. What a prerfect experience.

It is an upscale restaurant that is accepting of more casual attire. The steak was really good as well as the salmon... both were off menu specials.

Arrived at 530pm, ordered apps and entrees around 610, 40 minute wait before apps and salads arrived. Another 40 minutes before entrees arrived, returned stuffed shrimp overcooked and sides like warm. Steak ordered med rare arrived well done. They seemed overwhelmed. Very disappointed

Food was magnificent. I ordered the Duck Mansur. So good. The sauce on the side is perfect. The duck is so tender and delicious. Definitely recommend that. We also ordered the crab cakes for an app. Spectacular. Friends ordered the catfish app and that was good too. I ordered the Barcelona Sunset cocktail. You cannot go wrong with that. I ordered two of them they were so good. Will definitely come back here. Nice place for lunch or a celebration. I recommend.

The duck and shrimp rolls are to die for. Garlic mash potatoes had a few lumps and bit heavy on the cream and butter for my liking but still good. Lobster tail was decent. My server was excellent as well the ambience. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

This was our first time coming here and we were 100% satisfied. Our server Genny did a great job, she was knowledgeable and very attentive and helped us find what we wanted. The bartender Savannah answered some of our questions and also did a phenomenal job. The crabcakes, redfish, and filet were some of the best we have had in Baton Rouge. Menu has lots of options and the prices are awesome for the quality. This will now be our go-to spot for date night! We will definitely be back to try other options.

The shrimp and duck egg rolls are really great

I’m so in love with this restaurant. Our first time but definitely not the last. Our waiter Lance was exceptional. We had the pan seared triple tail. The martini’s were perfectly made. Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time.

Food was delicious. We will definitely be back. The ultimate pasta alfredeaux was jam packed with seafood. Also the crabmeat and brie soup was delicious. The only negative thing would be the AC seemed to not be working to its fullest and was very hot in the restaurant so I was not able to fully enjoy the experience. We ended up not getting dessert because it was so hot and humid in the restaurant.

I come here often and every time it never fails.

Friends recommended Mansurs as a great place to take clients from Brazil. It was wonderful! Everything you'd expect from classic Louisiana/cajun food with a gourmet twist. Sauces were as good as any I've had in New Orleans. Had Cedar Plank Redfish with an amazing topping I can't pronounce. One guest had the same, another had a gorgeous steak, the other had a chicken dish they said was delicious. Highly recommend.

Mansurs had THE best Caesar salad that I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is very cozy as well. The smell of seafood is throughout the restaurant so you can definitely tell they use fresh ingredients! The oysters were awesome! Also, their drink menu is very well put together as well! There is definitely something for everyone!

We had such a wonderful time last night, my cousin came in from Kalen Texas whom we hadn't seen in years, she wanted oysters and cocktails, so we chose you guys ❤️ everyone was so nice and the food was delicious, our waitress Ms. Savannah was just a sweetheart 💕 and my cousin enjoyed everything you guys had to offer, thank you so much for an awesome evening....

Update from a year ago!!! Just recently took my wife on her birthday here and some friends. I am from Atlanta and we were going to try something new this time on vacation but why? This place is always consistent and amazing food. All 4 meals were amazing. Drinks on point. Steak cooked perfect. The special was amazing. Please don't miss out. Go and be very pleased all the way around. 1 of my favorite restaurants for sure. See pics for proof. You won't regret it. Steak was outstanding as well as perfectly cooked. The lobster was amazing as well. Everyone's dish was delicious. Will definitely go back asap

Food was awesome. A must dine experience. Only reason atmosphere was 4 out of 5 experience was dinner engagement was at LSU graduation and restaurant was busy.

Some of the best and high quality seafood we've ever had. For starters, my wife had the Zydeco mushrooms (packed with a seafood stuffing), and I had the char-grilled oysters with jumbo lump crab. Delicious!!! Our entrées were the Ultimate Alfredo and fried shrimp. Some of the best in town!!!!!

Don’t go there for lunch and order food. Horrible service. The Cuban Sandwich was soggy and greasy and inedible.

Yesterday evening we booked a table in the wine room for Mother’s Day. It was like 14 of us, and we choose the price fixed menu. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this meal and the atmosphere. The menu was outstanding. I went with the house salad, cedar plank red fish and the Louisiana Lust dessert. Everything was delicious and not pretentious but very upscale. The wait staff were all accommodating and quite hilarious. What a genuinely lovely time! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

Over all I was not impressed. It was extremely hot in there and the food wasn't that great. And the bread in the bag really??? Probably won't go back.

OK. Here's the deal: this is not a place for foodies. Crawfish is not shelled in - house and is bland as a result. Same for the crab, which comes from a container, and is not picked in the kitchen. If thats OK for u, this place is fine. If you are looking for world class Louisiana cooking, look elsewhere

Can't speak highly enough about our dinner here. The Oysters were out of this world and the soft shell crab was unbelievable. Will be back! Edit: Came back and still a phenomenal experience. Had the soup sampler (All that jazz), zydeco mushrooms, salad, and the bread pudding. Amazing!

This place was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful. The ppl were so nice. My food was great. My boyfriend and I just went for a date night. It was a night I needed. The CUSTOMER SERVICE was A1. It was superb. My waiter name was Michael and he had a lovely mustache. He was awesome. His waiter skills were REMARKABLE. Michael made me want to come back just to be serviced by him. If you want an elegant night with great food this is the place to be. I left a very satisfied customer like I did the FIRST time!!! Please keep it up!!!

I worked there. Their kitchen is unbelievably dirty and management doesn't seem to care. They also have roaches worse than anywhere I've seen. I couldn't be paid to eat there.

38$ premium oysters. If oysters aren’t in season, don’t charge a premium up charge without telling a customer .Tasteless, claimed from grand isle. Not salty. Horrible cocktail sauce. Waste of money. AVOID. The Hamburger Steak was good. Service wasn't that great.spend your money somewhere else. I won't be back. Server was robin b. As I write this review, I’m waiting for her to quit talking to another employee and come and come get my payment. It has been 22 minutes now. I am just updating this as i wait. She doesn't seem to be in a hurry now that she knows I'm not satisfied with the food or the service. All the food was great except the oysters service was awful still won't go back.

Fantastic experience here! The food was wonderful, service was impeccable, nice ambiance, especially with the amazing pianist. And the bourbon selection was good! There’s even a back entrance if you park in the rear so it felt safe and convenient. Can’t wait to come here again next time I’m in town!

I'm not rating atmosphere because we got food to go and maybe that's the problem. It seems that Mansurs just gave me the overcooked, left on the grill by accident, returned by customer ribeye that was so well done that it was stringy, flavorless, and tough like a piece of chuck steak before it goes into gravy for stew - I ordered my ribeye medium rare! This was a really disappointing. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the crab cakes were better than most and the manager at the front desk was professional.

I had a surprise 60th birthday party my wife on June 25th, 2022. The manager was very helpful getting all the arrangements, menu and room setting. She was very surprised on how well everything turned out. Food was great, staff were very pleasant, helpful and made everyone comfortable. It was a great night with family and friends. Thank you!

My spouse and I had reservations on a Tuesday evening at 6:45 PM. The room where we were seated was full. A couple of groups were very loud, making it difficult to hear the piano playing just outside the room. The food however, was delicious. We each ordered a salad- strawberry spinach and house salad. The hubby ordered the steak tornados special cooked as requested, but pricey at $42. I ordered the Redfish on a plank, which was very tender with caper sauce on a bed of Paramesan Risotto.. The risotto was a little toothy. When I mentioned it to the server, she offered to bring me something else. I declined that offer. However, a gentleman, probably from management, came to offer a replacement. This time I accepted the offer. Iit was still a little toothy, must be the way risotto is served in Baton Rouge. The turtle cheesecake was tasty, but the Butterfinger Creme Brule was too sweet for my taste. The coffee was one of the best I've had at a restaurant! All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner. The total was about $200 with 1 cocktail & 2 glasses of wine.

The dining experience is always exceptional. The ambiance is excellent, the wait staff is always friendly, Ms Jo at the piano is flawless, and the chef and his staff are always on point. The food is absolutely fantastic, the best there is. New Orleans has nothing on Mansurs on The Boulevard.

Best Creole in town, great sports bar.

My spouse and I both had the redfish, sensation salad, and mac and cheese. Everything we had exceeded our expectations. The fish with beurre blanc+capers was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the salad had large slivers of parmesan cheese and almonds, the broccoli was cooked to the right consistency and the mac and cheese had a thick cheese sauce with a hint of bacon. It was so good. The restaurant is well managed, it's comfortable...we are hooked on good food. Well priced!

Not sure why we got creamed into the bar area for my reservations to celebrate our 31 years of marriage. Food was very good, but not enjoyable on such a small table with other tables so close. It was disappointing to say the least. I've been many times and truly enjoyed the experience in the main dining room. Many other options in town to spend $300+...

A favorite place for a really special dining experience!

We had an incredible evening celebrating New Year’s with family and friends. We can’t thank Alexis enough for all her hard work and attention. I had the Duck Mansur that absolutely may have been the best dish I have ever had! The Redfish on Cedar Plank was delicious as well. This amazing meal was topped off with a bottle of Billecart-Salmon! Can’t recommended this restaurant enough!

A perfect experience!! My son attended LSU and we made reservations for his graduation dinner. My family and I will return when visiting Baton Rouge.
