Do yourself a favor and go eat here!!! Really a hidden gem.

We,used to live in buffalo have eaten at Marcos Italian restaurant on the west side many times this was our first time here at the deli.saw a sign out front said paying $20/hour the food quality was past outstanding portion was ok overpriced 2 grilled chicken panini 2 bottles of water $35?.it was grilled chicken cold cut not chicken breast it didn't say on their menu it would be chicken breast. overall I recommend going here going to be costly

Great place, great owners. Ask for the Tony V steak and cheese. Double Steak and cheese, oil/vinegar. Steak chopped up. I get mine with just tomatoes, but I also like it just the steak and cheese with oil and vinegar.

Everything we had was fantastic, decent size portions. Food was made correctly. We tried the "maria goumade" panini, and the "foot of ferry" gourmet "sandwiches" both were really good. Highly recommend coming. We also got some salads.

Marco's is very clean, and has great service. The sandwiches cannot be beat! They are so good! The salads vary depending on who makes them and what is available. Highly recommend every sandwich on the menu, especially the Barbarino, the Forget About It, and the Al Capone.

The cannoli was the best I’ve had ever! So creamy. The Dino panini was so delicious and tasty i could overlook the fact that it was a bit skimpy! I will be going back to try new things for sure

We ordered here from work because they had rave reviews. I took the advice or the guy that answered phone when I asked about gluten free and he was super helpful. He said many turn a sandwich into a salad and I did. The food wasn't that great. I was sad. I didn't eat much of my salad. I prob won't go back.

I was having an insane day and ordered a couple sandwiches to go for a late lunch early dinner. On picking up my food, there were some surprises on my end as I hadn’t looked at prices and turned out I was supposed to grab my own chips for my combo and I didn’t know that (so I paid for a combo and didn’t get it). I called the restaurant after I left and expressed my frustration on the missing chips. The person I spoke with was very kind and offered several options to resolve my concern. I went with “leave a note for the manager to provide a refund” for the missing chips. I fully expected to not get a refund much less a response. BUT I got a very nice call from Rick the manager within minutes with a resolution. He also apologized for the price shock (pointing out that it was a necessary price, especially if you use quality products) I had expressed. I totally agreed with him both on the fact that his prices are jn line with other sandwich shops (I just keep forgetting how much sandwiches cost now) AND this is the second time we’ve ordered from there in a week’s time as the food is so good. Fresh ingredients, freshly made, and really just delicious. The fact that the service response was also so top notch reinforces my five star review of this establishment.

I had high hopes for this place. Menu items looked interesting. Unfortunately, my sandwich was underwhelming and overly priced. I was hoping for a more robust flavor. I would not return

We thought the food was average as best. Our bill we both question the final amount. On Menu there is no pricing. For a Panini & Sub chips drinks too total $30. Plus dollars. Wow.

The Chairman of the Board with the Chili Mayo is the best sandwich in town. Never a bad meal from Marco's!

This should be a 1 star, but my 20+ years dealing with Marco's wouldn't let me do it. This isnt Laporta's, which deserves to be dragged because of their terrible food and bottom feeding ingredients. This is my goodbye to Marcos and the Maple rd location. 😢 To be blunt, the bread is terrible since the bakery closed down. It tastes like a garbage Costanzo roll. Last sangwich I ordered was the Godfather. I like my face burned off from the cherry peppers. This one was all sweet peppers. Not a single a single cherry pepper. No flavor, just wet peppers. Again, with the run of the mill bread and the ability you have acquired to not give the customers what they ordered, I have had my last sangwich. I'm pretty depressed about this. Good thing a gallon of cherry peppers is $10. That should lessen the burn of having to say goodbye.

Very good food! Subs are huge too. My boyfriend and I always split the forget about it sandwich. More than enough for 2! Super friendly service!

Wow, this place is incredible. I had The Godfather and it was amazing. Very warm and friendly place and service was fast and efficient. Don’t forget to try the cannolis. Highly recommend!

Ok, Italian deli style food, original to Buffalo, so good I really don't have words. I was a secret food taster. Passed 100% thank you guys for the use of the bathroom and the food!

As a native New Yorker, meaning NYC this place took me back home. The authenticity of a NYC deli was a nice refreshing surprise here in western ny. The sangwiches (not a typo, that’s how they spell it) were plentiful and flavorful and the cannoli were also on point!! We will definitely will be returning to this place!!

I think they're very pricey for what you get, I got the Underboss and the chicken on it was paper thin, I mean really super thin and there was barely any cheese, or lettuce and the tomatoes were cut so thin there was hardly anything to them and only two on the sub, one on each side and now that I think of it there was no bacon on it at all, tiny bit of ranch dressing. Plus it's not a full 12", maybe 8" at the most and the roll was hard with no seeds. I was NOT impressed. I thought it would be much better. Will not be returning and this was my first time there. After reading all these great "reviews" I thought it would be much better.

First time at Marcos deli...we order 4 sandwiches. The homemade rolls were delicious but so was my turkey and Swiss on rye. I will definitely be back!

A guy at work mentioned he was ordering if we wanna jumpin!! I got the "stugots" and was greeted with a taste of heaven! Awsome food!!!

Order took forever and food was average for a non-NYC Deli.

Another Buffalo original, and I must stop destination for sandwich enthusiasts. This is is not the original location. But the tradition of the old Marcos on Hertal ave. has certainly been kept alive. Highly recommend the golf club and the mamma Mia.

Well, it has been 10 years since I've been back to Marcos, as I moved out of Buffalo. Though today I made it back to town and bee-lined it back for the the best sammich on the planet...the "BIG JOHNSON" As I hoped, Marcos knocked it out of the park! Nothing has changed and you can count on this place to be consistent! Even though it has been years! Oh YES, I will be back!!!!!

Had one of the best subs I’ve ever had last week. A toasted turkey sub (with Boars Head turkey!), provolone, lettuce, peppers and an outstanding zesty sauce! I don’t remember its name but ask for it and they’ll know what you’re talking about. Service was fantastic! I’ll be back again and I recommend it my, coworkers and friends and relatives. Enjoy!

Marcos have really good sandwiches. We haven't tried anything else on the menu, so we can only speak about their sandwich. Our favorites are Bugsy Siegel and Big Johnson. Bugsy Siegel is your standard Italian combo; the smoked meats are all very well done. Big Johnson, on the other hand, is a hot sandwich with sausage that has been dressed with Italian toppings. The restaurant itself is quite small, but most people just grab their sandwich and go. Plenty of parking and easy access from Maple.

Great sandwich, but a bit of a wait. Almost 20 minutes on a Saturday mid-afternoon. Maybe there were a bunch of delivery orders but we were the only two customers in the restaurant.

Subs and "sangwiches" are always done to perfection. Wait time depends on how many people are there, but it is never a long wait as the staff is excellent at their job. Would definitely recommend checking out the specials, as they are unique to this location.

I've been getting subs here for over a decade and have not a single time had a bad sub. The owners are amazing too, so friendly and always greet my wife and I warmly. I can't recommend Marcos enough!!!

Marcos is our go-to sub shop in WNY. Not only are their sandwiches piled high with meats, cheeses, and toppings, but their mayo's are simply amazing. The staff and owners are always friendly. Make sure you try the potato salad too!

A clean and friendly experience with excellent food. If you're anywhere near UB North it's worth the trip to Marco's. Unique subs that you and your friends will keep coming back to enjoy. Highest rating is easily achieved!

So we wanted to have a group lunch at work, delivered, and several people recommended Marco's. One co-worker said "Marco's food is so good, he delivers it from vahalla, on the wings of valkyries, in a ray of heavenly light. He's so good, even though he's Italian, the Norse gods have granted him special favor." Did my friend engage in hyperbole, and probably mix a few metaphors? Probably. But the food is really good. He makes a Muffaletto sangwich that easily feeds 2 hungry people and it is delicious. I plan to try many more of the gourmet sangwiches on the menu.

Marco's Deli is the gold standard for subs in the city of Buffalo. They don't get better than this.

There's something about Marco's that hits that sweet spot for a tasty, fresh sandwich. And maybe a cannoli. I know a few people who come here at least once a week--it is a familiar, yet very distinct, take on a sandwich/sub place. Great for dinner, great for lunch. Each location embodies an Italian-esque NYC deli. The Maple Road location literally has black and white portraits from 'The Godfather.' Their menu is full of items named after Italian cliches--Mama-Mia, How-You-Doin?--which can only be viewed as complete adulation at this point. Their Buffalo chicken wing soup is delicious! My favorite sandwiches, which are kind of like full subs, are the Bella Angelina: thick, fried bologna, fried onions, sweet or hot peppers, and garlic mayo, & the Chairman of the Board: fresh turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet & hot peppers, fontinella cheese, mayo, and goomba oil. I have never had a bad experience with this location's staff or quality of the food itself. Try it for yoself!
