Great service, great staff, great food. All around nice little unique hole in the wall. Definitely recommend.

Been going since the 1980s. I spent 4 years in around Central Germany, this authentic stuff. The Fleishsalat is spot on, only thing would make it better would be milch bröchen.

The chef salad and dill dressing are a must try.

Update March 2021. Continue to get great food. We've picked up a gallon of their version of sweet tea. Delicious and a nice change from regular sweet tea. Food continues to be delicious. Simply delicious food. Authentic German sandwiches. You have to try the side of warm potato salad which is simply yummy. It is a small place so go before noon if possible especially on Fridays and Saturdays. My fave is the Morfs Special but everything is delicious! Enjoy!

Love .the German délicatesses and swiss cheese. It seems like the place is More oriented for in-house dining than for grocery items compared to 10 yrs ago.

Amazing food! I live near Charlotte but I have a customer in Greenville and I make it a point to stop at the Deli Korner whenever I can. The food is worth the detour for me. I’m not even a salad guy but the Chef Salad and signature dill dressing was out of bounds good!

I came in ordered a 2 chef salads that I was informed to get and I got home, got comfortable, we sat down to eat and our lettuce had green slime on it!! OMG!! I was sooo dissatisfied and disappointed!!!

This is an Eastside hidden gem. Food and service is always superb! Brats, salad, sandwiches, with awesome sides. Cozy inside dining. One of a kind! Well done.

Bought a Reuben and some German potato salad. The food was great but the staff was not very talkative. Dead silence while I waited for my food. Was charged $51.13 for 15.13 she fixed it. But if I hadn't what an expensive meal that would have been.

Amazing German inspired food, great service, and a welcoming environment

Came in for lunch with my business partner. He had the Rueben and I had the Rachel. We each took half of each other’s sandwich. The taste of both sandwiches was mind blowing! So much flavor and you could taste each individual ingredient. It was toasted to perfection! I finished it off with the delicious green citrus tea. I will be back again soon!

Food was great! Sandra was very personable and made the trip worth going. The little shop had a variety of sweets, savory foods, and beer. This is definitely a lunch spot I will visit again and again.

I would give this place a million stars if I could! The Reuben and chef salad with house-made dill dressing was to DIE for. Their specialty iced tea will have you addicted, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Staff was SO friendly and kind, I even got some German sweets from the isle on my way out. Give this place a try if you haven’t already- you will not be disappointed. I don’t have a photo to post because I inhaled my lunch in 4.2 seconds.

Authentic German deli that had been around since the 70s. Great place to eat when in Spartanburg.

I had a roast beef and cheese sandwich and a water. Paid more for a simple small sandwich than I would for a 12" sub @subway with a large combo. And it wasn't as good as a sub. NEVER again.

This was one of my favorite places a year ago. I couldn't get enough, but things change. Not only is it not as good as I recall but it's hard to justify the $20+ price (incl. grat.) for a lunch that is essentially meat, cheese and mustard. My last visit they wanted to charge me for a togo drink to take the tea I hadn't finished with me.

Been eating here since they opened. Tastefully prepared authentic dishes that will knock your socks off.

You have to try the Chefs Salad. Still my favorite but don't forget about the Ruben 😉... Best Tea in town.

The goulash is worth the visit every time!

The food was good. However, after spending $21.00 to share a sandwich, they were going to charge 50 cents for a to-go cup to take the rest of my tea with me. Not a wise business decision. We put our tea glasses down and left. I won’t go back.

Tea was a surprise. Was expecting traditional iced tea. It still was ok. Quite pricey for the portion of food you get. Defiantly not plates to share or get full if real hungry. My plate was $15.99 and had two brats & one side. Brats were the length of a regular hot dog just a little fatter and the side portion was about a cup worth. To expensive for amount. Not more exceptional than other German deli's but food was good. Nice staff!

First time going and it was awesome!! The Guinness sandwich is delish. Fresh tomatoes and juicy beef. The French roll was very fresh, as well as the pretzel. The sausage trio is an absolute bargain for the price. Can easily get two meals from the plate. Loved the house dill dressing!! I was a little confused when I got my sweet tea, but it was the most refreshing beverage I've had in a while. Will definitely be back!!

The food is very good especially the Ruben as well as the German potato salad, it's a warm potato salad so it's a little different, but it's very good. The Apple Strudel is excellent, I will definitely be back.

Everything here is delicious. If you had to make me choose one item to get all the time, it would probably be the Reuben or the Rachel. Also, don’t pass up the Bavarian pretzels.

Went there for the first time and ordered a Reuben with german potato salad. Oh my lord was that the best Reuben i have ever had. And the german potato salad costs a bit more but I PROMISE you its worth every dime.

Having lived (and NOSHED!!) in Deutschland for a little more than a year in my early 20s, I can say their cuisine has a special place in my heart. Every time I find myself in the Deli Korner - yes, this old school building well off the beaten path in Spartanburg - I feel I've traveled back across the Atlantic. For dishes, ALL of the sausages (würst in German!) are perfectly prepared and the side dishes, namely the German potato salad and red cabbage, are as authentic as you will find this side of Nuremberg.

Removed Tables to allow for good separation inside. Sandwiches were good as usual. Love their reubens!

Definitely check these guys out! Everytime I go I always get the Sausage Trio and I ask for the Chefs choice on sausages. Last time I went I really wanted the cucumber salad but they were unfortunately out of it(it's alright though) because the potato salad is fantastic! 10 out of 10.

The type of place you hope stays in business forever. Great people, awesome selection of sandwiches and traditional German fare. Treat yourself to a hot soft pretzel, you'll thank me later.

Wonderful food! I love their salads especially (the chef salad is my favorite), but their other options are wonderful as well! They have a nice variety of European food items available for purchase as well. The staff is always very friendly, and the restaurant is always very clean!

The food is good but for $10 the sandwich should come with at least a choice of chips.

It's our NEW FAVORITE place to eat. We all cleaned our plates and ordered dessert to go.....its to die for....Best actual German food I have ever eaten. It's like being in Germany. LOVE IT

First time in today and it was great. The waitress was nice and very helpful. The German potato salad, excellent! The Bavarian pretzels, delicious! And the Rueben sandwich was tasty. Loved the German light bread. And the tea... Ohhhhh my!! Will be buying that frequently to take home. Very addictive. Will definitely be back.

The waitresses and staff made you feel at home. The food recommendations were spot on and and I will definitely be back. I had the chef salad and a pastrami sandwich. I also sampled the chicken salad and potato salad. All were delicious.

We liked it.. we hade the knackwerst and veal... All of it was excellent 👌👍.. The only thing that seemed kind of average and almost bland was the saurkraut.. But it was okay... Not bad at all... All the food was good quality and the price is good.. We will return to try their very good menu items .. . There are store items on the shelves to buy also... We say yes highly recommend...

Being one of the only German restaurants in Spartanburg, this place is fabulous! I've only had the sandwiches but they are out of this world! I'm sure all of the food is just as great! I absolutely love the Guiness sandwich and crave it often! The only drawback is that they're only open for lunch and I work out of town while they are open. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

A new generation of this family restaurant run the place now. They have kept the menu favorites and added a few new ones. They upgraded the interior and it looks great. Wood paneling & European posters give the restaurant a great feel. Try the chef salad or the Guinness sandwich. The sausages are very good too. Desserts are homemade. I could go on, but you get the idea. Oh yeah- I will mention they have a small grocery section that is interesting. Try it- you will thank me later.

The BEST German potatoe salad anywhere!

What a great place for lunch. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and took the time to explain everything, (Thank you Luba). I had the three sausage lunch special and my wife had the goulash with cucumber salad. Sausage was so good we got three to go (uncooked) to share with family later. Great German beer, which we also purchased Two six packs for sharing later. A little out of the way, but is worth the effort. See you next year when we travel from Wellsville NY to Anna Marie FL.

This is a destination place. The women who make it THE BEST place for the most extraordinary experience south of The Carnegie Deli in Manhattan keep the only man involved out of sight in the back room. Great menu with a balance of the traditional and the creative while allowing for customer interaction to come up with something sinfully wonderful. This is where to cash in your weekly bonus points. I love the classic Pastrami Sandwich with Swiss cheese on Jewish rye with chips and a pickle..Add a side of sauerkraut. It was so good I feel guilty. Just go!
