The chicken is ok taste like homemade fried chicken but nothing special about it, taste like ordinary. Chicken is not fresh at all, looks like it came frozen then fried. Don’t know if coming back, to be honest, Publix Chicken is waaaaayy much better and cheaper.

Have had better mfc at other locations. Was ok but not great. You can get 8piece or 12piece but not 10 piece! Odd. Chicken should be crisp outside, juicy in. I found it dry inside. I will go back though to try again.

I stopped by to pick up an order for a disabled neighbor/friend. I ordered 3 chicken wings & a roll. I politely asked if she could make sure the wings were not small. This lady who I've never seen before when I run this errand then proceeded to rant, "our chicken is natural fed ...". I stopped her & simply stated there is no need to sell me on chicken, I'm simply doing a good deed that I enjoy. This lady then stated ... "my family owns this..." with a tone. WHAT DOES "OWNERSHIP" HAVE TO DO WITH KNOWING HOW TO GIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE? Without a doubt EVERYONE that comes in there "owns" something and then some of US who walk in there come from GENERATIONS OF OWNERS, ENTREPRENEURS, LAWYERS, DOCTORS, REAL ESTATE OWNERS and CLERGY to name a few. What a ridiculous, unprofessional & uncouth comment to make. I dropped off the Maryland Chicken 🐔 and I opened the box & we were all flabbergasted that this lady placed 4 scrawny chicken wings with FEATHERS 🪶 ON THEM IN A CONTAINER!!! It's important to know in the 5 years of stopping by Maryland Chicken and running this errand, I have NEVER seen this lady and NEVER left with an order like this topped with her "energy". It is actually shameful that this lady would give me this as a 3 piece chicken order. (SEE PHOTOS). I went to PUBLIX and purchased 3 BEAUTIFUL CHICKEN WINGS for my neighbor/friend! SHAME ON YOU MARYLAND CHICKEN! P.S. The coleslaw is good.

Sat down for food with some friends. Employees were friendly. Food was brought to our table shortly after ordering. The fried chicken was so good that I felt like ordering more.

I didn't buy anything because of the prices. Haven't been there since the pandemic but boy I won't be buying there. Still the best chicken around.

I had dinner here tonight after seeing the sign and remembering the good old days. I was just surprised to see the restaurant. I was greeted by a super nice lady who was very polite and friendly. The food was served hot. I was disappointed by the portion and size of everything. I probably won’t eat here again but they are still worth a try.

Great take out. The nuggets are delicious. The price is great and you must try their white sauce.

This is one of my favorite chicken restaurants! They have fried mushrooms to die for and perfectly seasoned greens. If you are in need of some good comfort food... this is the place! This is the only location that is still family owned and operated, too!!

Ridiculously small pieces…..I thought I was being “punked”. (And I didn’t know it was even possible to make rolls that small.) Dude at the register was kinda rude. Just because I didn’t fully understand one part of your menu doesn’t mean you should make a customer feel stupid. And did I mention the RIDICULOUSLY small pieces? (Bottle cap in photo should give you a frame of reference.) Never again.

There are not many Maryland fried chickens left. Definitely don’t want this one to go. Good food and good people.

They need to start checking their food. I found 3 pieces of hair on my chicken nugget dinner. And it was from there because I pulled the hair out of the chicken. I felt disgusted never again.

Ever since the restaurant in Ocoee closed, we have been going through withdraws until now ☺️, we found the one in Apopka. The crew were soo friendly, the chicken was fantastic, life is good again, I'll be back again and again. Thank you crew.

This use to be my go to chicken place… not any more… very expensive for cold chicken and not the same quality… and did I mention how crazy expensive…

Have not been to this location in a few years, will not return. Ordered 2pc dark w/ 2 sides. ( got double fries) fries were hot and fresh, but chicken was old and dry. : (

Absolutely One of the best fried chicken my husband and I have ever had. Service was great very nice man whose family started the company over 60 years ago. Really enjoyed the food. Sweet tea was just right. Will make sure to come back while we are in the area. Now time to go actually go back to Maryland 🙂

Food portion has went down tremendously. But over all food was good.

Owners here are wonderful and work hard to please customers. Chicken taste is my favorite of all to go places and good menu.

I love their gizzards. They cook them just right. Also love their fried mushrooms and chicken wings. All their food is made to order. It doesn't sit up under a heat lamp like the food does at Kentucky fried chickens and Popeyes this is truly fresh so when you get it, it is very good has a wonderful fresh flavor never dried out and everything. I quit going to Kentucky fried Chicken and Popeyes about 20 years ago because this place is so much better when they closed up the one store in town I cried I'm so glad they opened up this site. I just wish they had the little mini corn on the cobs.

This place has really declined over the years. The food is not the same and the employees don't seem to want to be there.

Staff was so nice. Everyone working hard and getting to job done! They were short a couple employees but didn't cut corners, Food was Perfect!

First time eating here and i just want to say shame on everyone who knew about this God sent food and didn't tell me. That first bite into the fried chicken immediately shut my mind up, the juicy tenderness mixed with the crunchy fried skin put me on another planet. Never in my life did I say I wanna work somewhere to learn how they make they food. God bless the chef and the stores ya deserve ya flowers. God blessed ya hands in that kitchen! Definitely coming back and telling everyone about my experience ya changed my life!

Best chicken ever..I've been eating there since i was a kid

I have been looking for a honey garlic flavor that rivaled my favorite Chinese food restaurants in South Florida, and had continually been disappointed, until trying the flavor here. It was perfect. Exactly what I've been looking for (and I wasn't expecting to find it here)! Great, hometown diner feel. Wings were sold out when I went (late in the day) so I ended up getting chicken nuggets, which were perfect--tasted like actual chicken nuggets made from actual chicken, if that makes sense. Fries and coleslaw were perfect and as I was expecting. The sweet tea wasn't sweet when I got it, but it was still good--it tasted like actual tea, and that was enough for me. This was my first visit and I'll certainly be back.

Chicken nuggets are great lemon pepper wings are better than the place on West Colonial. And the chicken taste like grandma's

Deliver was awesome it's cooked per order good friendly customer service it is very clean and would recommend this Maryland fried Chicken to anybody looking for good chicken, although their liver is the best I've had in a very long time and I will be going back for more.

The chicken is okay. Honestly, it is nothing different than any other fried chicken I've tasted. I'm a little disappointed, because my expectations were high; considering the restaurant is called Maryland fried chicken. I was expecting seasoning, spice, kick or something, and I did not get that. Also, the chicken is very tiny.
