Place was amazing. Service was next to none and the food was better. I now live in Mobile Alabama and have thought often about making a day trip to here.

The outside is not inviting! But inside it is a white tablecloth place. Great Mediterranean food. The price is good. When in the Mariana, FL area, we try to go there.

Best restaurant within fifty miles. And if you need a home built talk to the owner. I cannot explain enough how amazing the food is here.

The appetizers were the best part of the meal. Good flavors and well executed. Stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and sambousa. All good. Shawarma lacked any unique flavor. Struck me as boring. I was hoping for something more unique. I thought Mediterranean/greek/turkish might offer bold spice combinations. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Grilled platter fell flat as well. Basically meat, salt, and raw onions. Lamb chops were cooked well. Rice was great. I could have eaten a giant bowl of that with the appetizers and been good to go. Service was fragmented. Good staff working hard, certainly trying. Just disorganized. Hopefully improvements will be made. There is potential here.

Out on a country road, this was an unexpected pleasure. Everything was first rate. Recommend the lamb chops.

Food was marvelous. We know they were short staffed last night, so we understand that service had to take a little hit. The owners were doing it all, and quite well. As for atmosphere, it's a wide open area, with booth scattered around the edges. It was nice but we weren't wowwed. That said, we would go back. We had the dessert... Tea biscuit with sauces. (Nadya) it was so so so worth messing up your diet! The hummus was out of this world.

Food is AMAZING. This is a family owned restaurant. The husband runs front of the house and his wife is the chef. She cooks some great food! Easily the best food in Marianna.

It was ok. Greeted by a kitten outside. It's definitely a one-man show here. The host was our server, cook and waiter. Falafel was burnt. The rice was overcooked. Desserts were decent. Great vegetarian option,just wouldn't choose this as my first option.

I had lentil soup and chicken shawarma and I was not impressed. It wasn't bad but this would not be a place I would frequent often.

What a delightful discovery, who new Marianna had this hidden treasure, nice atmosphere, friendly people, fresh delicious Mediterranean food,I tried the Mazah the falafel Seafood Glabah, Makrons, and Fattoush. Awesome, Mashawy Tea, is to die for. I was in heaven. My family enjoyed their meals as well! This restaurant is a little hard to find but well worth it. I highly recommend it, especially if you want to go. Enjoy a meal in a nice environment

The first time I spent eating Turkish food, it was great.

The food was delicious. The young lady that served us was new, and she got our order wrong. However, the most disappointing thing was that they charge a fee to use your credit/debit card. We will go back, pay cash, and probably not buy as much.

This was a great restaurant with very good Mediterranean food. I'll eat here again.

Located right by the Florida Caverns. We stopped by based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and fresh! Service was prompt and owner spent time with all the customers making sure all was going well. My husband and I got the two person platter (variety of their meats) and our three kids got the gyros, ate off of our platter, and had the baklava/Nadya for dessert. They loved every bite! This place is an absolute gem and even though we live two hours away, we will definitely be back!

Did we eat at the same restaurant as all the people who left all the glowing reviews? The moussaka was different from any other I have had, and not in a good way. It had a base of potatoes with some sauce, very little meat in the sauce, and a couple of pieces of eggplant on top. The main ingredient was the potato. The rest of this "entree" consisted of rice with some potatoes in it, a miniscule portion of salad, two small pieces of pita bread and a small serving of hummus. Maybe this is what people in Marianna, Florida think Turkish food should be, but it does not compare to the Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants we patronize in the greater Philadelphia area.

Amazing food. Was a surprise when we walked in but it was great service and the limeade is so good and the food was delicious. There were nice tables as well.

Amazing experience, this is a must try spot. Friendly service, the owner is great. Food is spectacular, my favorite is the lamb chops. Also recommend Nadya and a cup of milk for desert!

We ate here for lunch and had the falafel wrap and the lamb wrap. Both were very good.

Delicious Mediterranean food. We got the Combo grilled for two, and everything was very good. We both had plenty of food and left very satisfied.

We are on a road trip and we’re tempted to go to a chain but so glad we didn’t. My daughters are very shy and Nadia took the time to make them comfortable and even gave them treats for free! Mashawy also had absolutely delicious gyros! Probably the best gyro I have had and I’ve had many all over. Everyone needs to check this place out. Support local businesses ❤️

As I sat waiting for service with my daughter, I almost decided to leave. There was nothing wrong I just had flashes of some food nightmare show in my mind as I noted all the elderly in the restaurant. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!! This place was wonderful! The food was great! This was one of those local hidden gems.

The food was awesome. So delicious. Very nice server. Some items were not available, and maybe some upkeep is needed on the building.

This is the best place to eat for any occasion! The food is amazing and every time I come here I order a different dish and have never been disappointed. The service is amazing, and the family that operates the business is so friendly and ensures everyone has an amazing experience!

Visiting the area and saw all the good reviews so we decided to stop in. We were not disappointed. Portion sizes were ok. When the food tastes good you can always eat a little more. 😁 Definitely would recommend.

First visit place an order to go, it was great. Food was packaged well, and the flavor was excellent. We will definitely dine in soon. Prices were affordable. Meal for 4 under $80 with dessert as well.

If I didn't live 6 hours away this would be my go to. Hands down the best Greek food I've ever had. 10/10 would drive back just to eat here

Went for lunch after we visited the caverns. Wasn't busy and we were sat immediately. Food was fresh and flavorful. Couldn't ask for better service.

It's truly a gem in Marianna, FL. And all the great reviews about this place do not lie. I drove over an hour just to try some Mediterranean food and I was extremely glad I did. It was raining quite heavily when we got here. The place looks clean and spacious inside. The lights were a little dim. We got the booth by the window with the view of the rain hitting the windows and the cars passing by in the rain on the highway next to the restaurant. We ordered the Mashawy soup, which was house soup with chicken, rice and some herbs in it. It was good for the weather. Next we ordered the signature lamb chops and they were absolutely amazing. The lamb chops were grilled superbly well and had balanced flavors of pepper and aromatic spices. It just tasted juicy and succulent. The basmati rice was filled with flavors of saffron. The pita bread was great, too. And I absolutely loved the hummus. It was fresh and it tasted beautiful with the olive oil. I highly recommend the dish. We ordered Konafa for dessert. It was one of the best desserts I have had in a while. It was served hot. Its rich buttery creamy taste with pistachios was just heavenly. Every bite was filled with greatness. We concluded our meal with hot tea, the Mashawi tea. It was perfect for the weather and tasted great with cinnamon and other spices. Sami and his wife have got a great place here. Highly recommended!!!!

So I was skeptical ordering mediteranin food in a small town but this is sorta an oasis. The meal was 54 buck I ordered alittle bit of the whole menu to get a good feel of the place . It was lovely .even the Turkish coffee . I will be back

Let's start with food: 1. the beef shawarma is not shawarma! (The protein was just a cut meat, with meat that was microwaved) 2. The meat was dry and black 3. Fries were soggy. Prices: So the menu said that the price of shawarma is $8 and combo is extra $3, but we were charged extra $1.98 on a meal. I did asked the personal (he looked like the owner) about the price, he said "let me confirm it for you" he went in and said, yes it's 8.99 and 3.99. but he didn't bring out the menu! I would like to add that he was welcoming, and the atmosphere was nice, he talked to people and everything (that is probably why the reviews are good) If you do decide to go, make sure to not get scammed. Ps. I ended up paying the amount that was on the bill without any arguments.
