It's absolutely the best breakfast place on the planet!!! The food was fresh and delicious. Service was second to none. You will not be disappointed.

Honestly some of the best breakfast in jackson county. We don't come often because the hours are opposite mine but was so glad to come back today! One thing I will say is the prices have gone way up. For 2x pancake, bacon, egg, hashbrown breakfastS Western omlette, extra egg Fancy hashbrown Order of pancakes 2 drinks Was $72. That's breakfast for 4 people. This is life now though lol!

This is not a chain. This is locally owned and it has wonderful food and the lady who owns it actually waits tables. Very good food and Great service.

2 $8 breakfast specials with 2 drinks, with a 25% tip that I always do regardless, turned out to be $32.20. The bill had a $5 marked over with a $7 for drinks for 2. And I was swipping my card, was quickly and quietly told of a card swipe fee. It was our first time there, and even told the waitress, and didn't feel very welcoming to be completely honest. Sat for a good 10 minutes before we were told to check out up front that she didn't take the payment at the table, and there were people that had Been waiting for a table. Also, the building did not look very kept in my opinion. We love supporting local mom and pop business, but very disappointed in our choice to go there.

They were just closing when I pulled up. I told the nice lady I wanted some grilled cheese sandwiches and she said come, I can do that. I was so thankful and happy. Made my day.

The attitude from the staff made us feel unwanted. Unnecessarily rude. Food wasn’t even good.

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere by a Christian business! The ladies restroom has post-its on the walls with positive thoughts and it was so encouraging! All the employees were so nice! Would return if we visit the town again! Especially loved the blueberry pancakes!

A group of four adults stopped in to this restaurant for the first time on a Thursday at about 9:30am. Two adults were visiting family from White Springs, FL and two who just moved to Alford, FL to build a home. The server, I believe is part of the family owners was very efficent to greet each guest when they enter the cooled restaurant. Six guests were waiting for open tables and we were told two groups are ahead of you! We were not in a rush and from the view of traffic, several more guests, (10), came in and 4 turned arround and left. Within 15-20 minutes, we were seated right in view of the kitchen. We were very pleased with the food and value of the meal. If you have not visited this establishment, please do. It will turn into a regular!

I've traveled all over the country and waffle iron is one of the best breakfast dinners I've ever been to. 5 stars every time, would highly recommend! While I stick by my original review it should be noted hours here have become extremely sporadic. I'm not sure they even have set hours or days anymore, it seems like half the time we go or pass by they are just closed.

Nice little hometown place for breakfast little off the beaten path but beyond the effort to find for the traveling folks always try to have breakfast here when I'm in the panhandle

So, this is my first time at this place, and the service and atmosphere is amazing! The food hasn't gotten out yet, so I'll save this, and I'll tell you guys about my opinion on the food! Alright, I have completely demolished my waffle, and bacon. That was delicious! So, for me, it's definitely a 5 star place! Sorry if I used bad grammar, I failed English last year

The best place to get breakfast (mic drop)...and lunch. I have been here a few times and never disappointed. They know how a restaurant is supposed to be run.

I wanted to try this place. I did. I ordered a waffle and 2 eggs. My waffle was tender on the inside and just the right amount of crispy on the outside. The eggs were cooked as ordered. The service was good and the server was friendly.

Grew up eating here every Friday morning. Always had great food and service!

We stopped for breakfast here. Wished we had found this place sooner. The food is amazing and the portions are generous too. The staff were very friendly. We had to wait for a table but it was worth the wait.

We visited the Waffle Iron today from out of town and loved it! I saw another review saying they were "permanently closed" but I was so happy to see they are open. The service and food were great and we loved the home atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My food was so good both times I ate there. It was clean and had a homey , cozy feel to it. Plus the owner and employees were very very nice. I sure couldn't complain about the price. Added bonus was this really cool art on their store front windows. You should stop in and give them a try.

I finally got to eat here after many years of driving by. The restaurant was clean and the staff was lively and welcoming. We ordered and our food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone who will listen.

We are from out of town and was going to go here for breakfast. We drove up and the restaurant is permanently closed. You should probably update your site. First off wow...I see your response and I gotta say how rude. I was not rude in my review. This makes me choose how many stars and since I did not eat there how can I rate you higher? You have to understand why I would feel that way when there appears to be a lot of devastation in your area from the hurricane. Your lot was empty and there were signs on door that were not visible from lot. Second, i am happy that you are not closed and are able to vacation. Good for you. Lastly, because of your response I can promise you we will never eat there when we drive that way again. Your response could have been handled with a little more tact. Very good place to eat. It's a mom and pop type place and the food is good. Cooked exactly like you like it! They get very busy at times and you may have to wait. If you don't want to dine in, order it to go and it will be hot and fresh when you come pick it up!!

Breakfast or lunch anytime. We have been here twice on our visit to Florida Caverns. Service was excellent food was prepared to order.

We were turned away because there were 5 people in our party. We asked if we could pull up a chair to one of the numerous 4-tops and were refused, despite there being a table with 5 people who had already done that.

Gosh. Hate reading some bad reviews. Never ever had we a bad experience. Friendly, food is good. Love the small dinner atmosphere. And for the record, been there tons of times, people of all color are more than welcome, never saw anyone there treat ANY person with disrespect. And if by chance you were treated badly it probably because you deserved it. Just saying. Keep up the awesome job guys!!

I have never been as disgusted as I have today with customer service. I was OK with the wait time it was the disgusting attitude the waitress had extremely rude ,tried to rush my 2year old daughter out the door and then proceeded to follow me out the door to argue and yell again in front of my two year old and then called me stupid will never go back.

They were busy. Waitress was friendly enough, but food was mediocre at best. Would not recommend for visitors. Find a different breakfast place.

Traditional breakfast diner. Hard to hear the bad reviews as I have always had excellent service and food here. There is even some adventurous options like the Trash Plate, the breakfast burger, and my personal favorite the Breakfast Burrito!

I was passing by after going to the Florida Caverns State Park and wanted some southern food. I was a little hesitant to stop by the restaurant because of a couple of the reviews I read since I am a minority (Hispanic). However, I must say, not only did I enjoy the food, but I also felt so welcome by the staff and the patrons.

What a disappointment as a first visit. Visited at 12:30 open the door and a young Female said their close. There was still people eating plenty of staff and they'd be close in 30 minutes. Of course I was the only color Female or person. No hello, welcome, apologies, nothing. More like I was not welcomed. So I left. Sorry would never come back or recommend.

I have never had a problem until today. We asked for a salad with no tomatoes. So we asked the waitress for just lettuce and pickles the owner came back slammed the salad on the table and asked if that was good enough, we asked if we could have some pickles, she rudely stated she is tired of doing all this running around. She came back to the table threw the pickles down and said is this all for you today. I said yes and explained her attitude was not called for. She yelled and said you can leave right now and don't ever come back. This happened on March 9th of 2022. I have spent plenty in there and loved this place but as of today she has forever lost our business.

Today I was sitting and enjoying my breakfast with my friend. And this man in his green and white uniform came in. I'm letting you I'm the only black person in their. He sat down and start looking at me in a funny way. Then he would look away and start talking with his daughter with a mean look. This went on until I left. The waitress their was excellent. I applaud her. And the burrito was good also. But the look I got their was so harsh. It made me feel like I did not belong their.

Coming from Cali, to UT, to here- this place is really tasty! The employees were really friendly, The Country fried steak w/ Gravy and the breakfast food have been the only thing I've been able to try so far but they were amazing! The pancake I had was thick and fluffy, almost immediately soaking up any syrup poured onto it, will definitely be coming here whenever I can <3

I had a chance to eat her for the first time while working in Marianna this past week. It was AWESOME!!!! As soon as I walked in they were eager to serve and food was out within five minutes or so. Everything was cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to return!

Food was very bland and it didn't really fill me up all the way. The lady who served me was nice and it was fast and pretty cheap, but I think I'd rather got to Waffle House next time. Also none of the employees were wearing gloves while handling the food.
