Best food in town great prices everybody can eat

Damn that's some down home cooking. Order hush puppies and you are asked if you like onions in'em. Sweet potato fries are offered with cinnamon and sugar, slaw is fresh and acidic, grilled cheese average but at $1 for a sandwich , I ain't complaining. My dog was allowed in the outside area, got water and I was offered a patty for the dog. There is a lot of down south soul and character in this place and a whole lotta love.

He was closed when we drove up but insisted on feeding us before our road trip back! What a great experience and true Marianna charm. We found this place after a tour of the state caverns We even signed the wall Ordered two bacon cheeseburgers and hush puppies

Best chicken livers and onions I’ve had in ages!

1st visit to Spears and want be my last. Spears bacon cheese burger with sweet potato fries was amazing . The sweet potato fries were awesome best I have had and were NOT soggy like they are at most of places . The lady who runs the front is very nice and attentive. It is just a little small place but great food, super friendly staff and a great place to support small mom and pops business . Prices are very reasonable. I am looking forward to trying out other items .

Small location tucked off in the city of Marianna, but food and dessert are Incredible. Coe sweet potatoe pies and cakes are worth the trip too.

Small cafe, BIG flavors. We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. Both came with grilled onions. My husband loved the sweet tea. Bring a black sharpie!!

We looooved this place! Found it on Google after arriving in town an hour too early for an appointment. Their home fries taste like - gasp!! - potatoes!!! Sooooo yummy! And the bacon cheeseburger all the way with grilled onions was fantastic! Super juicy, tasty, and the tomato slice was amazing!

Hidden gem! We stopped in on our way to Tallahassee. The cheeseburger and fresh potato fries are amazing! The hushpuppies reminded me of family fish fries as a kid! We will be back for sure.

Well I found it and couldn't be happier. Best bacon double cheese burger around. Family owned and operated mom and pop place that takes you back to a simpler home feel. Call ahead or pop a squat and really enjoy the realness of taste. Go get some. Much love!!!!

We were visitors to Marianna. We wanted to eat at a local restaurant. Staff was friendly, and we had cheeseburgers and fries. Delicious!

I googled and this place came up and if you ever needed proof that God is real, this is it! My husband and I ordered burgers the first day and this is the day I landed in heaven on earth. The burgers are homemade and perfectly seasoned. I would only assume that their cows are transported from prestigious animal spas because it tasted real presidential. If there were organic cows, those would be it. Second day, I couldn’t resist to go back. My husband ordered fried wings this time and I had the hamburger again and neither of our food disappointed us. I also ordered a baked potato and my husband had the home fries again and it was God’s work. Must try the lemonade as well! To address recent reviews, if you see any one arguing , mind your business. You won’t find anything better than this in Jackson County and we all know that when the cook has slight high blood pressure, the food is even better. Trust me, my mama is proof. If I didn’t live out of town, I would be a regular.Y’all, this is 5 star, highly recommend and the owners treats everyone with so much love! Just go!

We stopped in after an appointment in town and so glad we did. Hubby had a truly delicious cheeseburger and I had a wonderful baked potato with chili & cheese. The waitress was delightful (sweet, kind, and hustling) and the cook was a joy (great flavors, fast service and a fun guy). It’s a small place making a big impact on the customers. Very laid back and kind space. We loved it. I should have taken a pic before we devoured our food. 🤣

I"m very upset I placed a large order and from the family dollar distribution center i called it in at 11am and they did not get my order together til after 12 noon instead of him fixing my order he chose to do small orders instead of my order BAD BUSINESS will NOT get our BUSINESS NEVA again Well i can say that they is a good company they fixed my issue the same day

What the heck!! YUMMMMM. been living in two egg fla for almost 2 years, found this lil gem today, stopped in. Cool little hole in the wall. Super friendly couple that own and run it. I am unaware of many restaurants where you can get fried chicken livers, fried ribs and fresh home fries. I like the people that run this tight place. Get it to go. Or hang out and make new friends! Love them home fries!

We had gotten off I-10 headed to Birmingham AL and we're looking for something local and southern. This came up on our search. We both had the Fried Ribs. OMG! Deep fried ribs we're to kill for! Understand, you have to want hot and greasy! They were great. May stop on the way back and try their fried chicken. Definitely would recommend if you're in the mood for deep-fried southern cooking. Small place but outside seating if it gets crowded. Most of the customers seemed to be local and getting to-go orders so we sat inside. Everyone was super friendly and attentive.

This is a down home diner that is greasy and good. If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and get a burger or pork chop.

This is the place to be in Marianna for amazing Bacon Cheeseburgers and old fashioned home style fries. The staff were so gracious and excited that our Pastor encouraged us to come from RCC. Laura and I will definitely be back.

Googled places to eat while going through Marianna and found this mom and pop gem. He was there by himself and working as hard as he could go. We got great burgers.. he has his prices set way to low for what you get and while that is great for us, the customer, I think he should go up a little to help him stay open.

The employees was very polite and helpful! The chicken livers was great and the double cheeseburger was the best in Marianna! The tomato on the cheeseburger actually had flavor like the ones that you grow at home! Can't wait til Friday to eat there again!

Great burger! This is a hole in the wall, but has a lot of charm. Owner's wife is friendly. Nephews took our order.. Had us sign the wall. Only open for lunch. Glad we stopped for lunch.

Told my mom I was in mood for burger and my mother told me the best burger joint was Spear Cafe, and I told her I never heard of it, she brought me here and I had a double bacon cheeseburger. Once I bit into it my eye widen how good there burger are!! I really really love there burger!! Now spear cafe is my favorite restraunt and I will be coming back and bring my wife too! I just cant believe I Lived here for 27 years didnt know nothing bout this restraunt. The owner and the cook is very nice!! Thank you for the best food!! First time trying the shrimp here, I wish I had tried it a long time ago because the meal was amazing. My wife and I loved everything, this place really has its own unique flavor. This is soul food at its best, all of the flavor, comforting, and no grease at all. I will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food, I highly recommend this as a top tier southern restaurant. The food was so good that my wife came home and took a nap lol.

Amazing food and friendly service by the sweetest couple...exactly the home cooking you want it to be! Get the fried shrimp meal or the fried pork chop and you won’t be disappointed. They’re not greasy and the fry is light and buttery. Fresh fried okra (not those disgusting frozen ones) and cheese grits with homemade rolls that are deceptively good along with a side of perfectly sweet tea and all the refills you could want round out a delicious and satisfying meal for a darn good price made by really good people. If you’re not used to the look of a small town, neighborhood joint like this, don’t let the outside fool you...this place is perfect!
