The service and the environment are awesome. We enjoyed most everything. Drinks were excellent. The food, though, is ok. The Mexican touch wasn’t there. It was Average.

Came here for a girls night and we didn’t have the greatest time.The food was okay. Our waiter wasn’t confident about any of her answers to our questions. It was always “ I think or let me double check” . The drinks weren’t so great ether. It sucks because I would always walk by this place and fall for the outside. The crowds that come here seem to be a much older crowd. The ambiance is okay. The food here is not authentic Mexican. Please don’t fall for the way it looks outside like we did!

Haven't eaten here, but the guy working the front door helped me in an emergency situation and I wanted to express gratitude! If the people are kind, the food must also be good! I'll come by for lunch someday and return the favor! 🙂 Thank you Matador for kindness!

I had the worst dining experience here. The menu is outdated with items listed on it that are no longer available. I ordered a burger that you can tell was not a fresh patty and it was one of the worst burgers I had in my life. My drink was made by one of the servers not a bartender who upon giving it to me stated to let her know if she needed to make it again???? It was a terrible expresso martini and I didn’t even want to bother with having it made again. All around terrible food and the service didn’t make up for it. My coworkers food was forgotten to be made by the chef and it wasn’t even busy! The chicharrón was all fat and rubbery 🤢 The servers knew we were unsatisfied and did nothing to try to salvage our experience. I’m not going back and wouldn’t recommend dining here.

Calamari and sangria were delicious, the paella was very far away, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't a paella. I think they should just stick with their Mexican option.

Good food. Tostones Locos as apetizers are fantastic. The Shareble option is the way to go if 2 or more (6 pieces).

I have lived in Kissimmee a number of years and just now found this great place called Matador! First brunch experience with Andre was outstanding! The culture and food and Vibes were amazing! This will be our regular spot going forward. Also, breakfast tacos was a recommendation from Andre and it was great!!

Food was not fresh. Re fried bean did not taste like beans. Ships where stale. Meat was salty. I order a dirty martini and no olive or olive juice. I do not recommend this place.

First time eating here. A little pricey for an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich $7.77 🤔 Otherwise the server was friendly and accommodating.

I learned about this place about a year ago and I can’t have enough. We love to go to historic Kissimmee downtown to El Matador Mexican Restaurant whether it is to have a romantic evening with My Husband 💙 over tapas and wine 🍷 or celebrate a birthday 🥳 with family and friends. We always have a great time here.

Food for breakfast was not good, not many options. Kissimmee Diner but same place not a good traditional Breakfast diner

Goid food and waiter was very attentive to us.

The decor is fun and eclectic. There was so much to look at while our order was being prepared that the time flew by. The waiter was very attentive and made suggestions When we asked about the preparation, he was very well-versed. We ordered a seafood paella for two and tostones as our appetizer. Both arrived hot and quickly. Although we would have liked more seafood in it, the paella was delicious. The rice was cooked just right; not over/under-done nor was it too dry/soupy with good flavors, not salty. They sometimes have live entertainment or karaoke. The evening we went they didn't. They had classic soul music softly playing. An overall very enjoyable dinner. Highly recommended.

Fuy con mi esposa a tomar una copa y comer algo , cuando nos paso algo completamente ilógico, a la hora de entrar le dijimos al mesero , queremos sentarnos en la barra a lo que el respondió: la barra es solo para clientes VIP nadie se puede sentar hay , ! . Lo gracioso de todo es que eran las 2pm y el sitio estaba completamente vacío. Nunca recibí un trato tan malo como en ese sitio. Weird place never again, lo bueno es que al cruzar la calla hay un bar/restaurante muy bueno con gente amable. Servere was very rude, we ask to be seat at the bar , but the servere said , The bar is only for VIP costumers no one is allowed , funny parts is the restaurant was totally empty lol , they don't know nothing about costumers service , they shut put a sing out side the door saying: This place is only for VIP clients we don't need more clients and just open the place at nights. Ugly place if you compare it with the agave azul a real Mexican restaurant not a small cantina with actitud. Never again.

Hours are incorrect. Stopped here after 7pm on a Thursday night, and they stopped serving food, saying the kitchen closed because it's a slow night. Bad way to run business. Lock doors, turn off lights if you're truly closed.

Came here on a Thursday night and got a queens treatment! We asked for our daughter’s food to be brought out first, so that we can appease the tiny human and they were so prompt with her food! She was munching in minutes. The food came out quickly and in abundance. I also got the Empanadas and they were so yummy! This place is fabulous!

Amazing and delicious! The staff was very courteous. The atmosphere was vibrant, and it seems that they have a night life here. I came for lunch, but will be back for a dinner soon.

Absolute wonderful service ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I have Crohn’s and wasn’t doing good to eat, the waiter saw that and removed the soup from our bill, even though it wasn’t their issue. They were over accommodative on trying to create something I could eat. My boyfriend enjoyed his platter. I cannot say enough good things for this place. Go eat! You won’t regret it!

The place looks awesome, nice place to sit down and eat or drink, draft beer taste real good, the burger i ate was not good at all meat very thin. I will probably try the tacos next time. Prob real good. Server was nice

So my review for this place is mixed. Some items were miss and some were great. I ordered the skirt steak , I think churrasco Al matador on menu ? It was ok , good not great. There wasn’t any seasoning at all , not even salt&pepper , I’d maybe even say a light dusting of Adobo. It seemed like it was cooked on a flattop and not a grill so it was more steamed than grilled. The beans that came with this I was told were charro beans , but had that sweet bbq beans taste you might get from Sonny’s BBQ. , id maybe even say offer chimichurri on the side for flavor ? The flan and fried cheesecakes that we had were excellent. The chicken empeñadas were great The place seemed really dead the day we went in but I’ve heard it’s only really busy on the weekends. I feel like the place has potential but maybe the employees don’t care that much at the product / service that the customer receives.

Omg! My daughter and I discovered this place today and had to try it for lunch! The food came out quick, hot and delicious. Our server Juan was super nice and very attentive! The decor was, of course, Matador theme with a small stage that I'm guessing they use for live entertainment in the evenings. We will definitely be back with the whole family!

In Kissimmee, you need to know instant grits served w/ a spoon is a no-no . With hard bottom briskets and gravy. My daughters omelet was very fluffy. nice dish

Not the best tacos in the world

Went to this location yesterday morning for Breakfast. The server was very attentive and welcoming. The price is what threw me off. So expensive for frozen prepackaged food. The only thing fresh are the eggs. I could have honestly gone to Publix and bought everything from the frozen Aisle and made it myself.

Enjoyed a business lunch with the Women Realtors in Osceola County.

Was super hungry wandered into this great little town saw diner and went in. Blown away how welcomed we were and how good the food was. Def not your average diner! Empanadas amazing! Thank you

Good service and good atmosphere but quantity and quality are not up to the price point. I like supporting local businesses but breakfast plater was not portioned right for the price! That’s why it was empty on a Saturday morning.

I have been to this establishment a number of times. I have eaten here as a regular customer and I have attended events here and I have to say that the food has always tasted good and fresh. The staff is always amazing, they are friendly and courteous every time. The only thing I would complain would be parking but now that the garage is there that is not an issue. The establishment it self is very nice for a dinner date or a business lunch

Definitely a great and delicious location in Kissimmee away from the every day touristic locations. This restaurant was very unique menu with a Puertorican twist and you can get creative as they have a few options you can ask that aren’t in the menu. We had the Salmon with monfongo in a garlic sauce (which was not in the menu) and it had so much flavor. I also ordered the seafood paella and it was packed with seafood and enough for at least 2-3 people. The drinks were also pretty good. I would definitely recommend to give a try.

This is a super cute place with great attentive staff, but the food is not great. It's more a mixed limited menu of Mexican or Spanish dishes, not fusion, I had hopes for better flavors. It is also not priced as tapas as the cheapest thing on the menu was $8. Do go for drinks at happy hour the $6 margarita was great! There is no happy hour food menu.

I went to this restaurant yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and our waiter was really nice (and cute 🤭). Highly recommend.

The server was great, very polite and informative. However, the food was very clearly frozen before cooked, so it was incredibly tough to chew through.
