Friendly service. Good food, and not overpriced. They're remodeling so a bit of construction going on but good food.

If you love a good dive bar this is for you! It for sure needs a lot of tlc, but the great service and friendly staff make up for its rough around the edges looks. We were appreciative that they were open for lunch during what is now off season, Sierra was a one girl show and she was just great.

This is a great spot in Indian Lake! The food, drinks, and service are excellent. We recommend it to all of our guests at our eco-glamping retreat down the road, and we always look forward to some good laughs with the owners when we visit.

Fantastic local Irish pub in the ADKs! This location just gets better and better every time I visit! Recently added some great additions to the menu. Occasionally has live music in the evenings. Definitely recommend stopping by!

My son and I stopped here for lunch yesterday. It was nice to chat with Amy and our fish sandwiches were delicious. The chef has a new breading for the fish and I can’t stop thinking about it!

Pub fare at its best and the mixed specialty cocktails are the best ever. Amy is an amazing mixologist.

Very friendly atmosphere. We came in late and the kitchen stayed open for us after we did a show. Next time we’re in Indian Lake, we’ll visit again!

Perhaps we visited on an off day? The service was very good. Our waitress was friendly although she did not introduce herself. Almost every table was dirty but it was early and we were the only patrons. The entire establishment was dirty and had a dark, damp feeling. The Ladies room was atrocious!!! I almost left after visiting it but the kids were very hungry and Indian Lake is kinda in the middle of nowhere. Once the food came it was fair and not very hot, we tried the chicken strips and fries. The ranch dressing for dipping had an off taste, almost like mayo,lol. I have no doubt that the fries would have been wonderful if they'd have been hot. If ever in that area again I'll be driving a bit further to find something.

We had so much fun- Susie- waitress was so accommodating- lunch was delicious and we even met owner- chef. Thank you and we will definitely see you again

Everyone was super friendly & welcoming! GIANT burger with a grilled bun ( I absolutely love that) and highly recommend you try the irish eggrolls. We went out back for a game of cornhole and had a ton of laughs. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I discovered this place Tuesday night, been by it many times and never payed attention to it. All I can say is wow, the owner Dave greeted us and made us feel right at home, we ordered the fish and chips, and chicken wings, it was the best fish and chips I have ever had, and the chicken wings, and homemade blue cheese was the best we ever had, all I can say is thanks Dave and your staff for a wonderful experience we will be back.

The best mojitos in the Adirondack's! Also the Irish Fries and Sheppard's Pie slay all day. Any time Amy and Dave are there is a good time :)

This is the best bar in Indian Lake. Dave and Amy are so kind and attentive and make the atmosphere really fun. We went 4 days in a row and they even towed my brothers car when he got it stuck. Ohh also Amy makes super fun cocktails!

Twas' the highlight of the evening! Google says they are open until 8 but we definitely were there until 9:40pm! I think we got special treatment because they thought it was my birthday? But no... 🙈 Big lol. Anywho, food was hot! Hot! HOT! and the desert was delicious! The place was poppin' and it took a hot minute to get our food but it was well deserved. Thank you bestie for a grand ol' time!

Nice small town vibe. They were very busy as we visited for the eclipse and had no problem with us hanging out in their lot to watch it. Food was good and they warned us it would take a while to get our food because they were so busy but the wait wasn't bad at all.

After hiking all day long in the Adirondacks we were hungry and tired. With everything else pretty much closed in town by 9PM except for Stewart's and McSweeney's, we popped in here for dinner. We were greeted by a lovely bartender who had excellent suggestions for food, drinks, and even had us excited for the Irish Road Bowling event in Indian Lake (count us in for 2025!). The owner, Dave, was more than hospitable. He is a storyteller, and a good one! I couldn't have asked for a better St. Pattie's Day - a fresh Guinness pint, yummy potato & bacon soup, and great conversation. This is the place to stop and eat if you are in Indian Lake, hands down.

This place is really the best. The food is great - Shepard's Pie, corned beef & cabbage, fish n chips, irish egg rolls are all great. Also really special drinks- there are always new creative cocktails to try and about a dozen beers on tap. The owners and staff are really special. They make you feel like a regular even if it is your first time stopping in. Can't wait to come back to Indian Lake to stop back in!

It had a classic pub feel, but service was disorganized and slow. Much of the facility feels like it is under construction, and had been for a while. I did not try the food, but people seemed to be enjoying it .

What an incredible authentic Irish experience. I had an amazing hot toddy, Irish fries, and Fish Fry Friday, which will now be a menu regular! But the highlight was the basil mojito with strawberries.🥰 Thank you Amy for fantastic lunch!

McSweeney's is an awesome addition to Indian Lake! Dave (who is from Cork, Ireland!) and Amy are amazing owners who make you feel like family. They will serve you a drink or a burger at any time of day, no questions asked. Drinks: Lots of beer options (on tap and bottled) lots of seltzer options and Amy is a wiz behind the bar (if you go in the summer ask her for a fresh mojito!) Food: The McSweeney burger is my fav but my husband LOVES the Philly Cheesesteak and the Shepard's Pie. Great boneless wings and poppers. They just recently started a menu of weekly specials (The chipotle salmon with avocado on top was great!) Great bar seating but there is a dining room as well. Pool table, dart bar and best of all a Jukebox!

Soup/salad and philly cheesesteak. One of the better tasty phillysteak ive been around in a long time.

Just had the Irish egg rolls, parmesan, garlic mozzarella sticks as an appetizer ummm yummm! For the entrée I had a steak and chicken quesadilla that was phenomenal, Service was Great. Amy is so cheerful and festive it’s a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back! (across the street.)

Great food, great atmosphere. The owner let me borrow a space heater for my unheated cabin, will definitely be back!

Very friendly location. The owner is the bartender and was very attentive. His dog also comes to the bar and all the patrons know her. She was very sweet but is a big dog. If you do not like dogs or are allergic take that into consideration. The owner checked with us to make sure she was not bothering us when she came over to visit our table.

This place has very friendly staff with a laid back atmosphere. They opened early for us to watch the Bills game. Food was also fantastic.

Great Irish Pub with great food and atmosphere

Great staff, friendly laidback atmosphere, and some of the best fish&chips this side of Dublin! The shepherds pie was also fantastic! And they have a really sweet bar dog, Bailey! A new family favorite! Will always be stopping by on my way through town.

Super nice folks… We came in with a group of over 30 people and they served us all in a timely fashion. The drinks are incredible. Who a thunk…. Super great place in small hamlet of Indian Lake!

Not so much Irish as it is just local bar. They do have Smithwicks on tap and a few Irish flags, so I guess they can call it Irish. Pretty decent food.

This was a completely random visit and I’m thrilled I found it. The food was delicious but the atmosphere and service were the true stars of the evening. Sit at the bar and enjoy some great conversation with Amy.

Wasn’t expecting much in the way of vegetarian eats, but they did us right! Grilled cheese with tomato and fantastic salad!

What a gem! Soooo charming, food was absolutely delicious (my husband said it was the best burger he’s ever had. And the fried potato chips! Wow!!!!!) Amy our server was a love !!! Can’t wait to go back !!!

My friend and I found this little gem yesterday on our way through the Adirondacks. We each chose the Philly cheesteak with onion rings and it was absolutely delicious! Great atmosphere, great food, great staff. I'll be back! (Please note this restaurant was cash only)

Love McSweeney's! Atmosphere was amazing and it's right on the trail. Our waiter, Tom, provided excellent service and the food was great.

Great burger. Excellent onion soup! And a Guinness! Please be aware this is a CASH ONLY establishment. We were not aware of that and unfortunately had to use the high fee ATM in the bar. Server was very sweet and helpful as was the owner but we felt the bar needed better communication about the no credit card policy.

Love this hometown spot. Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere for drinks and food year round. Recommend the fries or fish and chips. They have a variety of liquor and beer including cans and whiteclaws. Highly recommend for a town spot if your staying in indian lake, passing through or in town for boating, ice fishing or road bowling.

I took my son 12 and my granddaughter 10 to dinner after the holiday stroll. The bartender waited on us and was so wonderful to us. With a busy bar she made time to answer all our questions and even hunt down choc for milk. The food was outstanding. We took our leftovers home and my husband ate them the next day. He only eats hamburgers and said hands down it was the best one he's ever had. 100% recommend.

2 of us stopped in for the 1st time while hunting in the area. The steak and cheese sandwiches wich we both ordered were fantastic as welll as the fries which are wedges seasoned to perfection. Great beer selection, food and great service. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back. Cheers!!

We were there at the end of the wave of "peepers" who ate the place down to almost nothing. But somehow Tim and the cook (sorry I never got your name, brother) managed to get us their amazing Irish egg rolls, fish and (sweet potato) chips, and an Angus hamburger on a sub roll. And it was all excellent. Get a pint of Guinness, let it settle, and enjoy! The first time here, but definitely not the last. These guys just have a good feel for how to run a pub...

A great atmosphere and great customer service. I sure hope he gets some help soon! Be patient if there is a wait as the owner is completely understaffed. I wish for nothing but a successful future for this establishment. I will make sure I stop in every time I’m in the area. ☘️🇮🇪🍻

Dang this was good!!! Shepherd's Pie, Fish and Chips, as well as Guineas and Tullamore Dew! A genuine gem of a bar in Indian Lake - make sure you visit anytime and every time you can. The staff is awesome and the whole restaurant is clean and inviting! Good cup of coffee too. We SHALL RETURN!!
