It's one of our favorite restaurants in Sarasota! I love the food, the atmosphere, and staff!

I just ate at Mi Pueblo on Bee Ridge & McIntosh! $22. for delish enchilada, tamale, guacamole, rice, beans, chips, salsa, marguerita AND NO EXTRA CHARGE TO USE CREDIT CARD! Great service & happy to leave a hefty tip. Try this place instead of El Toro Bravo on Clark Rd. They will hit you with a SURPRISE extra charge for using your credit card. No bueno!

The main course was salty. Waitress acted like she did not want to be there. No Modelo Especial on draft. However, they did have Corona on draft. The chips and salsa were stale big time. I felt like the prices were higher than they should be for what was ordered. Probably would not go back.

Love this restaurant. However the place could use a deep cleaning. Every ledge and surface in the dining area, windows and corners. And for gods sake use Fantastic to clean the bathroom doors or repaint them a darker color other than avocado green...that color shows all the dirty hand contact....actually this issue was brought up to me by my wife while we ate there last night. NOT! trying to drum up business, but she has a residential cleaning service...her eye is much more discriminating. I am a dude, but have very high standards on cleanliness. My wife is right. Please address this issue. Thank you, your customers.

I'm from Pueblo, Colorado and my town is famous for it's authentic Mexican food and green chili sauce. This little cafe has the food and green chili closest to my home town. This is the best Mexican restaurant we've found since our arrival in 2018.

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole entire world! The waiters are super friendly and make you feel welcomed! The desserts (especially the flan) are to DIE for! I could eat a gallon of their amazing salsa! The soda is the perfect mix of syrup and sparkling water! It’s amazing for birthdays because the staff sing and bring a free dessert! I HIGHLY recommend eating here AND coming back for more!

Went with my husband and son and the food was excellent! Authentic Mexican food we had carne asada and it was delicious!! Highly recommend very nice staff/ service. Will be coming back soon next time we come to the beach since we live in Tampa.

El lugar es pequeño y sencillo pero bonito y cómodo. La atención excelente: amable y oportuna. La comida estaba muy buena a excepción de una quesadilla de carne que pedimos y aunque no estaba fea no es “la auténtica quesadilla mexicana” tenía queso amarillo y peppers. Los precios son razonables.

My wife and I have been going to Mi Pueblo for years to get our Tex-Mex fix. Everything on the menu is excellent and the prices are incredibly affordable. The servers have been there forever and I know that they always look forward to seeing me.

Food tasted like it was left out all day The waiter literally brings stuff out that we don’t even ask for in charges for it and when you look on the menu, the prices are not the same as what they charging they need to fix their menu. I really wanted to say something, but The beer was skunked hot sour cream i never Complain but I’m sorry I regret going there. And i wish i would of read about this place before i eat there food was not good at all they should refund money back.Dont recommend this place to no one Well👎👎👎👎

Absolutely LOVE some of the dishes!! Carne Asada is fantastic!!! Shredded chicken is ehhh. But it is what it is. Guacamole and salsa are excellent. I've been several times and will keep going.

I googled best fajitas near me and Mi Pueblo was listed at the top. I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. The wine based margheritas are very good. Chips and salsa were served with warm chips, my preference. Salsa was flavorful and not thin or watered down. I ordered the Pollitos, it's an appetizer but I ordered as my main entree. It is 4 pieces of jalapeno peppers sliced and served open face and topped with shredded chicken and cheese. It was served on a plate of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes which served as my salad. This appetizer was much more than I expected and was very flavorful. I definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant.

Been going here for years and recently food quality has declined. Ordered the queso with beef and they mixed the cheese with flour 🤮, super thick and filler only, no taste. Beef and shrimp fajitas overdone. I used to love coming here, now I question this place. Wicked cantina's queso with beef is much better.

If mexican food was mcdonalds. This is what would come from that. I don't believe they have have a liquor license, so the margaritas taste like buzz bombs made of a wine base. Only 1 margarita type available and limited light beers. Limited menu and little seating. Food is sub par but service is great. Name is deceiving considering there are 2 other locations with full menus and liquor options. I feel as though I was tricked into a Mexican restaurant experience.

This is the best Mexican place in Sarasota! We come here every time we are in this area. The service is always great, the food is 10/10 delicious and everyone is always so nice. We love the hard shell tacos and the table side guac. We will continue to come back every time we are in Sarasota.

The burrito was dry. Lettuce and tomatoes old and Beans and rice too small of portions. A little too prices for what you get.

Decent place to get your Mexican style food. I prefer the university location over this. Food service were overall good. 1st batch of chips had been a little stale & the salsa lacked flavor, but I understand some people can't take the heat. My tequitos however were fantastic and so were the nachos!!!

Chips were stale, and service was incredibly slow. Very limited menu options. Was very loud inside despite the low number of people in the restaurant.. soundproofing would be nice. We left without ordering anything. Our waiter forgot to bring us a water, but she was nice and polite at least. Stale chips are not indicative of a good dining experience.

Went there for Cinco de mayo. We usually visit the one in venice. We have been going to the venice location for 20 years. The only down fall for this location is no liquor license.

Food was not cooked right I Kindly requested a solution for the incoviniece , their reaction was so rude and unnecessary . Their food is just as bad as there service.

This place is amazing! I don’t live in this area and just happened to come across the location off Bee Ridge Road. I heard there are other locations as well. As far as my experience today, the service was unbeatable! Friendly staff who were constantly refilling chips , salsa, and water. Our order came so fast and the food was delicious!! The atmosphere was unique and authentic. I will definitely go back if I get the chance.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere, with reasonable prices!

Last several times, food isn't quite as good as it has been for more than a decade. Especially concerned about the chemical taste of the corn tortillas! Tamales are tasteless and mainly just a steamed roll of masa with a miniscule amount of pork. Even their signature salsa tastes canned now and again the chips have a peculiar chemical taste. Dissapointed!

I've been looking for a local authentic Mexican restaurant in the area and this is my favorite. They serve the food HOT and are so good about checking in on you and refilling the free salsa and chips. They have lots of options and prices are worth the value. Love the live mariachi band! It screams Mexican Restaurant!! Highly recommend!!

The food was wonderful, prices were higher than the last time I was there, but ... Service was fast. We found the restaurant to be colder than we liked. If you go bring a sweater.

This is the original Mi Pueblo, and it's a lot cozier than the others, yet it has the same wonderful food and service.

I had a 50th birthday party catered by Mi Pueblo today. Everything was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend them and will use them again in the very near future! Absolutely delicious!

This was the worst place I have every ate, we order Chicken Fajitas...the chicken was processed chicken or either can chicken but for sure not fresh chicken, the chicken was very dry and had no taste. the only vegetables that came with the fajitas was fried onions, when I complained to the waitress I was told that was the way they cooked fajitas. The lettuces, sour cream and cheese came in a very small bowl, you could not get to what you wanted. I do not believe the previous reviews this was not my experience. I have always believed that fajitas was something that everyone could cook, not this place! Don't go there you will regret it!!!

I ordered a taco salad online for lunch and picked it up. It was very tasty and inexpensive I will definitely be a returning customer.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. Reasonable prices and a nice variety of menu choices. The food is excellent. I'm told this is the original Mi Pueblo store in Sarasota. It's a smaller restaurant and on Friday or Saturday eve, it can get very busy.

This place has older decor but the service is excellent and the food is always very good. Highly recommend!

Mi Pueblo on Bee Ridge is our favorite Mexican food in Sarasota (and beyond)! Friendliest staff, amazing prices and delicious food. We can always count on them for an A+ meal. The University location is great too but nothing beats the Bee Ridge staff. :)

Excellent tacos! I like that the deep fry them to crisp the shells. Also, tacos were loaded with ground beef, plenty of cheese and toppings. Very good fresh salsa. Attentive and courteous service. My favorite Mexican restaurant in SW Florida area.

Salsa had no flavor, just tasted like tomatoes, no kick at all. The food was mediocre at best. Service was good, but the food was below satisfactory.

All 7 of us enjoyed our meals, it was all very tasty and fresh. Service was attentive and quick.

It was ok. Waitress had an attitude and portions were disappointing especially the kids food for the prices.

Margaritas were good but 5oz for $7 truly sucks. It was like 2 sips and no buzz.

Review this as we eat dinner chips an salsa are stale. Also will charge you for another basket of chips. Tried to order fajitas asked for jalapeños said they can’t put them on there that they had fried jalapeños only lol so I’ve ordered steak tacos, very ok added salt to give it flavor.

No drink menu, and when I asked for a drink menu she Told me the reg menu was all she had. I ordered a margarita and got a small Dixie cup sized margarita.

The service was good but the food didn't impress me. I got a platter with an enchilada, 1 Taco and 1 chimichanga. None really did it for me...especially the chimichanga. I expected it to be at least a lil bit crunchy...nope! I'll still give em 1 more shot, next time I'm in town and will update!

The fastest service I've had in YEARS! Our server was spectacular. Not to mention the food was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend the pollo con mole dish!

This location is beer and wine only. The food and service was stellar. Margaritas are available but they're not the same Margaritas that you'll get at the location off University.
