Have never had seafood as good as this ! Not even at the coast.

The customer service was great! The food was so fresh and came out hot. I also got the rainbow cake to take home and it was so moist and good. Will be back for sure!!!!!! First time there! Highly recommend it.

The biscuits are big. Tea is on point 👌 but just not my scene/atmosphere

This place is really good. Big portions of great food. The people are great too. The fish was soo good. The Christian vibe was a bit intimidating.

We have eaten here a few times. It is an hour away from home. The staff are super nice. The fish/shrimp is excellent, the portion size is large, and the price is on point. We will definitely be back. It's a good ride to destination for lunch.

Just plain old good food and friendly people. Well worth the ride from Southern Pines. I will definitely be back again and recommend to friends and family.

Place doesn't look like much on the inside or outside but it's food is what speaks loud and clear...delicious seafood combo at a reasonable price. Sufficient portion, appealing and the largest piece of flounder I've had in central North Carolina.

Can't be beat in the area. About 6 miles west of Carthage right on the highway 24-27. A very popular place for breakfast and lunch. Home made biscuits with sausage gravy, biscuit sandwiches or their lunch specials can't be beat. I have been there several times when in the area and have never been disappointed with the portions, price or service. Very friendly folks and worth the stop. In on a Thursday at 5 for their catfish dinner. The place was jammed. Heard it was really good. ORDERED: Large catfish plate with onion rings, hushpuppies & coleslaw. $11.00 Very Good Will go back for sure.

Last place around that you feel like you at home to eat a meal with everyone.

They have a big and good piece of fried flounder and there marinated chicken salad are really good. Pretty much all there food is good!

Finally, a cook who knows what "home fries well done" means. The food is fantastic and priced well. Worth the trip.

Their seafood is the best and the prices are very reasonable. Fried scallops are fabulous.

This is the kind of place you almost want to keep a secret because it's so good! My friend and I both had the seafood platter and it was so fresh,so plentiful, I couldn't believe it. It isn't a chain, it's the real thing, a mom and pop restaurant evident by the homey decor and local clientele. The next table ordered cheeseburger platters and they looked good too. I will also be checking out the home made desserts next time. Service came with a smile and the place wasn't luxurious, but it was clean and cozy, with great prices.

Midway Grill has Seafood that is incredibly good. I no longer eat seafood when I go to the beach because it isn't as good as Midway Grill's.

Our country needs more quality food and service like this and less commercialized slop thrown at you from uncaring corporations.

A great Mom and Pop type of restaurant. I only had the cheeseburger and fries but it was great. Big Hand patted burgers. The hostess I talked to was great. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been eating at Mid Way and I know of no place that cooks and serves better seafood than MidWay.Actually every single thing is delicious, including breakfast ! Great staff, limited seating but if you have to wait a few minutes it is well worth the wait , they also have a drive through, food is always freshly cooked and hot !!! Large portions and great prices !!!

Great food, from Breakfast to dinner!! My go to is the cheeseburger (all the way) and onion rings which are my fav and this is the only restaurant I can find what I call cheeseburgers the old fashioned way with the good cole slaw if u know what I mean. Waitresses and waiters are very well groomed and know their menu and always on time. The menu has a variety of things to choose from. The seafood here is also one of my favorites especially flounder and popcorn shrimp. If you are in the area this is where you need to go for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. I highly recommend Midway Grill!!👍

The best cat head biscuits, I have eaten, since I was a teenager. <yes, biscuits, the size of a cats head>. I had country ham biscuit with homemade potatoes. Yummy. Field me up for breakfast and lunch. Didn't need anything else until supper.

A hole in a wall diner vibe. Seating is very limited making waiting time vary. Overall food is good, menu is small. Very nice and pleasant staff. Each plate is brought out when it’s ready so not everyone at the table gets their food simultaneously. Prices are decent considering the portion sizes are larger.

Oh my god, I swear this place has the best potato wedges I’ve ever eaten. It’s just a 5 minute drive there and I prefer it!

In my opinion, the food here is much better than at Pete's Restaurant in Carthage. Their jumbo shrimp is delicious. The people working there are ALWAYS friendly and attentive.

This is another classic locally owned and operated restaurant whose specialty is good food and service. It can fill up at lunch as locals, trades people and weary travellers like ourselves stop to refresh and regenerate. This is not fast food so be prepared to spend a few extra minutes...relax and enjoy your meal! It is worth your time.

Very good food, wonder people and a little off the beaten path. It's a bit small and limited seating, but a good place when need a nice,quick southern style home cooked meal.

Midway has the best fried catfish IMHO. The BBQ sandwich and the cheeseburgers are really good too! Only problem is the place is small, seating is limited. Better get there early to get a table.
