I love this place. The staff is always stellar and super patient with my toddler. I don't let her run around but I keep close and she wanted to look at the mural and I tried my best to make sure she was clear but everyone who interacted with us was sweet and kind. My infant needed a bottle warmed up. They helped us out big time and was super kind about it. The food is just as amazing as the staff. Love this place its a staple of Murray hill.

I'm not much of a pizza guy, but this is definitely the best pizza I've had in the area. I learned about the place after many people recommended it. This was not my first visit. They do offer a gluten-free crust upon request (10" crust like most). Friday night is very busy and may not be the ideal time for your first visit.

YES......its hole in the wall, which is kind of the point of a great Pizza place. Cool vibe, great location (Murray Hill), outstanding customer service, and THE PIZZA IS VERY TASTY with an expansive variety of combinations and options. From single slices to very large whole pizzas. A really great place to go, the staff is super friendly and very attentive throughout. Thank you all, this is our new favorite pizza place

This is the spot for GREAT PIZZA. My granddaughter was celebrating her birthday and she wanted to go to MOON RIVER, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint..Kahlib and his staff were THE BEST, they were truly amazing, they even sang Happy Birthday to the birthday girl. We will definitely be back for the amazing service and friendly faces at MOON RIVER PIZZA.

I was excited to try this place because of the high reviews but I'm not sure what people are raving about. The place has a great atmosphere but the pizza is bad. Dough-heavy, chewy, and bland.

Pizza was not good. It tasted like nothing and they got our order wrong. No green peppers and onions on half the pizza is what we wanted. It had green peppers and onions on the whole pizza 🤦‍♀️. Not going there again!

We were definitely not disappointed. I would love a way to kiosk order so we didn't have to get all bunched up at the front, but the staff are lovely. They are always circling making sure YOUR experience is your best. We will definitely be back.

We got the Large pizza with pepp and meatballs, and wow. Hugeeeee slices and it tasted phenomenal. The dough had a great under carriage, sauce was good, cheese was great, and the toppings were great. The salad here was fresh too, no brown leaves, and the ranch tasted in house made. Was very very busy but plenty of seating for all. Service was pretty good too and the workers were all very friendly. Far and away one of the best pizza spots in the area. You guys have earned my business and I'm VERY picky when it comes to food.

The only thing that sucks about this place is the parking. We've been there multiple times and the service is fantastic. Our food was hot and quick and it was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Moon River Pizza

Well what do you know here it is May 2024, and we just came back from Moon River Pizza again. I just had to say we have had many excellent pizzas from Moon River Pizza however today the pizza was extraordinary! I don't know maybe we were just hungry for pizza. But this pizza was absolutely perfect! The amount of ingredients was perfect, the distribution of ingredients was perfect, the crust was absolutely perfect, it was crisp and flaky not too thick not too thin it was just right, and the cheese was melted perfectly and the crust under the cheese was cooked and not doughy, and it was just an absolute perfect pizza! If there's one thing I can say for this place they are consistent just look at the updates from me over the years! Goodbye and get you some! Just an update here March 24th 2004. Guess what this place is still the bomb! We go there quite often but it's been about 5 years since I updated the review so I figured I'd just confirm that they're still doing everything perfect! The pizza was spot on The service was phenomenal just go have some pizza. You will love it! This place is the bomb. We love it and every time we're on this side of town we stopped in for a slice or two. Pizza is the best anywhere and the service can't be beat everybody's friendly they love their job they're happy to be there and it shows.

This place is everything you want in a neighborhood pizza shop. The staff is incredibly kind and hospitable(and hilarious), music is dope and the pizza is outstanding. White pizza with meatballs is the best pie in the city. We love it here.

Love this place! Always my choice for a quick bite with friends. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well. I suggest the Greek salad and a slice of "the pizza".

Really good pizza restaurant. It has a bit of a hole in the wall vibe, but the food and service are great. I had the Special Pizza without black olives. The flavor of the pepperoni and sliced meatballs was delicious. The Pizza crust never became soggy. The cheese was also very flavorful. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Quirky little spot. You can order by the slice or whole pizza. Nice selection of beers and wine. Great service. I highly recommend them.

Stopped here for a quick lunch before the long, boring drive back to Tallahassee. Cool little area of restaurants and bars. Staff was super-friendly and cool, and the 90's rock was a plus. Pizza was outstanding and made with high quality ingredients. A little higher priced than some pizza places, but I'll pay for higher quality any day of the week. Parking might be a challenge on weekends and nights, but no issues during the late lunch time. Would def eat here again.

Hands-down not just the best Pizza in Jacksonville, but the best pizza in the south. Similar to Fellini’s in Atlanta, with better service and more consistently outstanding hand tossed crust. Order slices, it’s too hard to choose just one. I much prefer that to the whole pies because variety is the spice of life.😋

The only negative I have to say about this place is the parking is difficult. The pizza is amazing, the prices are more than reasonable, the staff is super friendly. I'm thankful they're near my job, I can pop in for lunch under $10, get two slices and a drink, and be out with time to spare. Fast service, and a great lunch special. Highly recommended.

I will never go here. The management and service were incredibly rude after just walking into an empty restaurant. Did I mention empty... 😳 wanted to get a bite to eat and had our dog with. No dogs allowed. I understand policy, but there are ways to present the policy. The dog is 11 years old and has a very easygoing personality. We decided to go elsewhere.

This is one of my favorite local pizza places! I love that they have vegan options, and the staff is always friendly.

Stopped in for lunch today. I had been here before, my buddy hadn’t. The service here, PERFECTION! Everyone was so friendly, knew everything, but best of all, timing of everything was on par with 5 star restaurants! Drink refills perfectly on time, they appeared at our table not right as we had just placed a slice into our mouth(like most places tend to do these days so you have to thumbs up them and smile awkwardly with food in your mouth). If you want amazing pizza, solid atmosphere, and to just have an experience free of stress or guessing games, please visit, I highly recommend!

We are used to the Fernandina location. This pizza tasted nothing like that location. More like a frozen crunchy oven baked pizza. The sauce didn't even taste the same. Staff and service were great but we will only use the Fernandina location after this just because we don't care for this type or flavor at this location. The Jacks frozen pizzas from Sam's were better than what this was and that's what I made when I got home. Maybe it was an off day but that was our experience.

Came here for lunch after a day of thrifting with a friend. I wanted to know if they had gluten free crust and they did. They also had vegan cheese. I asked about pesto and they had that too. Finally I was able to enjoy a pizza after so long. I thanked the cashier profusely because I love pizza and I missed eating it. I made sure to add pepperoni for old times sake. The place is pretty spacious. Staff is chill and laid back also. There's a massive menu on the wall right before you order. The gluten free crust only comes in the 10" size. It's also thin crust. My friend ordered their lunch special. Two slices of pizza with ham and mushroom as well as a drink. The cashier noticed I was wearing a Beetlejuice shirt, and gave me a Beetlejuice sign for when the person would bring the order out. I thought that was really cute the way they do their signs, and how they just happened to have a Beetlejuice one. I would definitely love to come back here in the future so I can try other variations of the gluten free crust. It's a different flavor obviously, but still good nonetheless. I also asked if they did delivery or third party, and they said no. So I definitely need to come back for more.

I love TREX Pizza it is MEATY!!!

The disco ball is the first thing I loved about this place upon entry. The customer service is amazing. Menu on the wall for everyone to see. Plenty of seating. Great music to enjoy while you wait on your food to arrive. Cheese sticks were good, the pizza slice was delicious, and the eggplant calzone was ok. The regular calzone was really cheesy and the Trex I was told was really good.

Moon River probably has the best pizza in Jacksonville. The restaurant is awesome with the decor, and the service is outstanding. Excellent pizza! Would recommend to anybody looking for a tasty treat.

Bread sticks are delicious. We have ordered the medium with 1/2 pineapple Maui Wowee, 1/2 the Special. The Saturday crowd packed the place. Parking lots too crowded on a Wednesday to stop here for dinner. Went to Carabas instead and don't regret it. 🤷‍♀️

We’ll run business with great spirted employees. I truly appreciate a business that puts in person customers first and not a phone call. Pizza is awesome, service is prompt, vibes are high here !

Blown away by cool this place is, how good this place is and how friendly this place is.

This is truly the best pizza place in town! If you have dietary restrictions they have you covered . If you can't have cheese, their diya cheese is outstanding! Their crust is perfect and there is a meatless meat that they use for people like my daughter who is pescatarian. She loves it!

Always has solid movies playing. This go-round they had Star Wars on the TV. Classic. I ordered a regular cheese pizza with extra cheese, because why not. The food came out quickly, it was pretty good. Decent prices for a single slice. Overall, one of the best New-York-style pizza joints in Jacksonville. My only complaint is that if you try to eat it like they eat New York Style in the movies, it won't work for some reason. I don't know why. Besides that tho, I can't recommend it enough to anyone. It's the best.

A perfect neighborhood pizza place. Big slices, pizza is always good, probably the best balance of quality and price in the city. Funky atmosphere that feels real, not manufactured. It must be a great place to work, too, because the staff is stable over time.

The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant is clean and the food came out quick and was delicious. It is loud in the restaurant, but you can still communicate easily with the people at your table.
