Good food, good coffee, very nice people! We're not from around here but am looking forward to visiting when we come back around!

A huge ice cream selection. Gifts are a little pricey. If you pay cash for fuel you get it cheaper.

Moose du Nord is exactly what you want in the UP! Fantastic people behind the counter, great coffee and even better pizza! They have a little bit of everything including gas! Highly recommend ordering pizza for an easy night on Manistique Lake!

Expired pop and poor customer service: We stopped by for pizza and began to make our order. Unfortunately we couldn't order tap water so we had to buy a bottled drink to have water with our meal. That goes against standard service for a restaurant but not the end of the world. We decided we would get pop instead since we would have had to buy water anyways. My fiance grabs a Pepsi and finds it's a couple days expired. Ok not great but not the end of the world. But then I grab a 7 up and it's months past the expiration date. But not just the bottle in front. I looked at some of the 7 up bottles behind it and they all had been expired since May. That's off putting especially for a business that serves food. Health and safety should be a top priority and I can imagine that they've probably been selling expired soda for a while now if those are that far past the date. So we let them know that we're finding expired pop as we're looking for something to drink, and in response they completely ignored us. They skipped over us and visibly were helping other customers when we already had our order partially rung up on the register. After several minutes of that we walked out without ever finishing our order. That's unacceptable customer service. Also finding two different expired beverages when we were just looking for something to drink didn't give us much faith in the health and safety of the restaurant.

This place is great, the people who work there are so friendly and helpful. Our first trip to the UP with our SXS and we made this a stop for pizza and gas. The owners were so nice that we made sure to make another stop there that week to buy some souveniers. We will for sure be back when we venture back UP.

This place was a fantastic stop. They have a little bit of everything in the middle of nowhere—it's a gas station, gift shop, ice cream shop, and restaurant all rolled into one. You can find whatever you need, and the owners are very friendly, eager to chat with you about the area. This is a must-stop destination if you're in the vicinity.

Ordered pepperoni/sausage pizza to go, Staff was courteous and friendly, Pizza was fresh and hot out of the oven and cooked to perfection. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend. G

Ice cream flavors up the wazoo! 24? Unreal! Especially for a place in the middle of nowhere! Pizza is good. Have diesel! Usually always friendly. Atmosphere does hit you when you walk in…if it’s stressful, you feel it. If it’s going smooth, you feel it. Staff could be more friendly.

Driving through my kids wanted ice cream so my teenager looked up some shops and this one had 5 stars so we stopped and so glad we did! The I've cream was delicious and so many flavors to choose from! We didn't get the pizza but it smelled amazing (we will be going back for one sometime during our trip tho!) Owners were super nice, the gift shop was cool! They deserve the 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic place to stop when you’re up in the UP. Pizza, ice cream, and coffee all in the same one stop shop. What more could you need? Everything tasted amazing and the owners were extremely friendly and kind. Will 100% go back every time I am in the area.

After an extremely long day exploring the northern UP we were headed home and my relative wanted ice cream. The place was hopping with customers. We decided to order a pizza and take it back to our motel and eat at picnic table in front of our room. They warned us it would be awhile because the kitchen was slammed. We proceeded. It was totally worth the wait because it was so good but was really awesome was watching the owner interact with all the young kids that came in. If you have young kids this place is a must stop. Our pizza was fantastic and this place has some cool funky items.

Awesome little shop. Fantastic ice cream, and I’ve heard they also have awesome pizza. Met and talked to the owner and he was a real nice and welcoming fellow. He gave us all the best things to do in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

As a gluten-free eater I am extremely appreciative of Moose du Nord’s cauliflower crust option! The pizza was delicious and the shop is fun. Really cool spot. Thank you, Moose du Nord!

Such a hidden gem! The best (and maybe only) lattes in the area! And the pizza/breadsticks are to die for! Easily a family favorite. We’ll be back!!!

This is one of my favorite little shops to stop at while in the U.P. Great lattes, clean bathrooms, super nice owner. There’s a little shop inside for souvenirs. They have food inside and according to my daughter, great smoothies too.

The place is beautiful with friendly staff, but lately when I order something they get it wrong. I ordered a cinnamon roll, and it looked like an odd way to make a cinnamon roll so I repeated myself and the cashier said he knew. Then I got an iced coffee, it wasn’t what I wanted but I went with it. Yesterday I gotta decaf coffee, turns out it was not decaf. Lovely store, maybe I’m not speaking loud enough, I’m not sure. They were happy to take my order which i definitely appreciate.

Amazingly great pizza!! Found a menu in our cottage 20 miles away...they deliver!!! While giving our order, we mentioned we were up here for our honeymoon and Curt, Denice and the Moore crew gave us cinnamon rolls for our morning coffee ❤❤❤ it really is appreciated :)

Outstanding. Denise was the absolute best. She was friendly + helpful. She gave my one-year-old son a dollar to play the duck claw machine in the corner- and her husband gave him another. We ordered dinner for the second night (the pizza, cheese sticks, and subs are FANTASTIC) and Denise had the cook make “my son” a special dessert. Which was also FANTASTIC! Next time we go Up North, we will make a point to stop by, even if we’re not in the area. This place was that good. HIGHLY recommend.

This place was beyond AMAZING:) The owners and staff were so friendly and honestly it felt like we were chatting with old family friends. Our family had the four best pizzas that we have ever experienced. The tri lake pizza, taco pizza and of course cheese and pepperoni pizzas were incredibly tasty. We are all looking forward to going back! You will NOT be disappointed by your experience and the food at Moose du Nord!

I always get a sub when we go there. They have a good variety of subs and pizza, And they are always willing to put on any extra ingredients on your sub and pizza so you can have it just the way you want it! Very friendly staff and owners!

Absolutely, if you are debating coming to this stop I highly recommend it. We came for the Ice cream and left with armfuls of stuff. The attendant we were met with, Denise, pleasant conversation. She told us about the ice cream brand switch that she was very informed on what was going on in the business. Made our food well and quickly. She made us feel like a part of the family. Amazing place! I actually heard about this place on the radio that's in my little office at work, when they mentioned "A moose that's attracting people from all over." The owners are really cool! I think the guys name was Kurt, can't remember what the lady's name was. They were very accommodating and gave us tips on how to find Yooper Lites, and were really funny. The interior of Moose du Nord is really cool, I love the woodwork. And the pizza is really good, like surprisingly good! I joked to Kurt that it's better than Little Caesars. But seriously, the Greek Pizza is awesome! Kurt was so cool that he said we could borrow his UV light if we really wanted to find Yooper Lites!

It took one bite and my husband and I knew this was the best pizza we've ever had. DELICIOUS!!!! Thanks for making such great pizza. We will definitely be back for more and can't wait to try the ice cream, coffee and other goodies. Moose du Nord is a hidden gem in a beautiful area of the U.P. I would add a photo, but there's no more pizza left 😉

Love Moose du Nord! We always get our pizzas and subs from them because they're the best in town. Lots of cool merchandise. And we love their ice cream too (Mississippi Mud is my fav). Staff and owners are friendly and helpful. We miss the pink moose though. When we send people to the Moose, we always say, "look for the pink moose." And now we can't. We're thinking about starting a petition! :)

Great must stop. Very reasonably priced on everything. Clean bathrooms and very polite staff. This is a great stop for anyone in the area. I will return often!

Such an excellent surprise! We had the Greek pizza and a salad with chicken and craisons, both were amazing. I also got some really great ground coffee to go. The owner recommended a sunset spot nearby as well… And made sure we found it alright. Talk about service! Definitely worth the drive.

The best pizza in the United States. Ice cream is good too. Go ahead and pick yourself up a double scoop of ice cream and crush it while you wait for your pizza. After that, slide on over to Taylor's and pick up a 30 brick of peebs and crush that when you get home.

GO HERE!! Very friendly and kind husband and wife own the place. Long story, but my husband and I ended up stopping here after some malfunctioning snowmobiles. It was freezing and I hung out for a bit while my husband went to get our trailer down the road. Not only do they have the cutest shop, but we ended up ordering a pizza to take home and it was amazing. Perfect after a long day being in the cold. I didn't have a chance to try the ice cream but even in the winter, people were coming in to get a couple pints to take home. The next time we're in town, we'll definitely be ordering food from here and I can't wait to try the ice cream....

I absolutely adore this place off the map on the map..it has always been my favorite spot to get a large caramel frappe w no whipped cream.. I live 45 minutes from this delightful little establishment where you will surely find something you didn't even know you couldn't live without until running across it there! From tanning to take out & some of the cutest beach/lake life items.. adorable plush stuffed animals you warm up to ease the aching muscles after a long wilderness walk..or a soy candle that smells so good it'll have you believing your back at the cabin..grandma's kitchen or the little store in the woods way up north..its catchy little name great food.. better ice cream than a 7-11 served by a great staff will be a humongous hit that will send you back over & over again..

The pizza is so good. I come from Chicago but I would say it can beat any most famous Chicago pizza. Highly recommended!

My husband and I visited this shop several times on our week’s vacation for coffee, gasoline, pizza etc., and were very happy with the service we received. Until a few nights ago when we stopped for ice cream. I waited for the young girl behind the counter to finish with the customer in front of me, who paid for his items with cash. She gave him change back, then took my order. She then grabbed a waffle cone and proceeded to fill it with the ice cream WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS FIRST. I asked her to please start over with my order and to please WASH HER HANDS FIRST. Her response was to rudely turn away with a BIG EYE ROLL. She did wash her hands and complete my order, but Moose Du Nord you HAVE TO DO BETTER! It is apparent more training is necessary.

My family and I love coming to the Moose! Great coffee any way you want it, great staff and great food! Highly recommend!

My family and I were visiting our cabin over the weekend just down the road and was pleased to see the ice cream shop open. Hands down the best ice cream I've had. We stumbled on this spot late Saturday night after a full day of driving to our vacation rental and were starving and looking for anything close by to eat. We showed up past 10pm not knowing they close then and the owner, Curt, offered to make us some nachos. He opened the place back up just for us, and that level of kindness and service is so rare these days. Thanks so much to Curt for feeding these hungry Midwesterners! And the nachos were amazing!!
