Great Southern Slow smoked BBQ!

Best BBQ around. I'm lucky this place is in my hometown. If you haven't had BBQ from here, then you are truly missing out!

The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the food was great.

The facility is clean, the staff are welcoming, the food is delicious, and the restroom is the cleanest I’ve observed.

The food was very good, had onion rings, and had a large BBQ sandwich. Wasn't expecting slaw to be on the sandwich, but it was good as well. Will be back to try other thing's.

Wow.....this place takes the cake, actually it takes the strawberry pie, be sure you get some of that. Every time we eat here I don't think it can get any better. Today I had batter dipped fish plate, the wife had batter dipped Chicken strips, both were amazing. The hush puppies are second to none. I'm already planning what I'm eating the next trip.

Nothing like good old comfort food!

1st time here today went with the ribs slaw hushpuppies and onion rings wow fall off the bone popping with a hint of spice in the beginning and savory on the back end

This was our first visit since moving here from Virginia and I have to say the food was outstanding we loved it. I had the ribs and pulled pork and my wife had the catfish. We shared our meals to get the most of the flavors. We will definitely be going back and I recommend everyone to try it.

Nice little hole in the wall bbq joint. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I had a barbecue pork plate with onion rings and baked beans and hush puppies. The food was good. The baked beans were not very good. There wasn’t really a flavor it just taste like they were emptied from the can and heated. I added their signature barbecue sauce to the baked beans, and it tasted much better. This is the first barbecue restaurant I’ve ever been to that did not have macaroni and cheeses a side.

My family has eaten at this family's restaurant for many, many years. When I was a kid we would go to the old location (no longer there) to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. Now, I get to enjoy the modernized experience with my own family. Counter servers and kitchen staff are very kind and personable. They always have smiles on with that sweet southern charm. The food is still amazing! Try the white sauce, it is the absolute best, and their battered chicken tenders are anything but basic.

Walkers is a regular on our list when we don't want to cook. They are reliable and yummy! Everything is always hot and fresh.

Catfish filet much better than lecroys, baked beans the very best

If you are on Brindley Mountain on the weekend you HAVE to go here to eat. Excellent food, super friendly staff, and if you are lucky, there might be some farm raised eggs for sale! LOVE this place. I had the small catfish fillet cooked perfectly!

Great place to eat, the food is outstanding. The fish is amazing, well the fish and chips, I don't eat catfish, so can't comment on that. It is definitely worth the stop!

The barbeque here is a favorite of Britni... and now myself included. So here we are enjoying it... but she hates me taking her picture. Sorry but love has no boundaries here either. 😄

Walker's is my favorite restaurant their catfish is amazing since they're only open Thursday thru Saturday. I try my best to go all 3 days, lol. I haven't found anything better yet they have great barbecue also.

It's always a good spot to stop and get some good food. Highly recommend the chicken fingers, fish n chips, or the porky fries.

They have the best chicken fingers in the world !! They also have the best tartar,white & ranch sauces in the world,( They make their own !) The other thing they sell is good too.But I prefer their chicken fingers !!

This place have some great food. I have tried fish (battered and cornmeal breaded), chicken fingers, shrimp, ribs, pork and they're all great. Fish and chips are my favorite with lots of white sauce. You can buy a whole bottle of the white sauce. Least favorite is the pork just because I prefer pulled than chopped. Be on the look out. Sometimes they have smoked wings, get them if available.

Love my favorites is the barbeque, boneless chicken and homemade onion rings.

Walkers has been one of our family's top favorite restaurants for many years. I went thru the drive thru this afternoon. My favorite is the large BBQ pork dinner. It's a huge 3/4 smoked chicken with French fries and cold slaw. It's moist and cooked perfectly every time. My wife's favorite is the BBQ pulled pork dinner. My son likes their ribs dinner. My daughter's tastes varies but she has ordered the BBQ Chicken dinner the last few times. This may be a controversial statement.. but Walkers has the best white sauce on the planet. All other restaurants should go ahead and surrender and just copy Walker's white sauce.

They have the best smoked chicken and catfish around! Fast, friendly service was a plus! I also love both their fries and onion rings and their hushpuppies are better than most.

Walker's is the perfect balance of cheap and delicious, and nobody makes better Alabama white sauce, including Gibson's.

Owners and employees are always pleasant, kind, and accommodating.. we love the food and drive from Huntsville at least once a week to get it.

I only went for their delicious hot fudge cake. My son had their ribs which looked so delicious. My granddaughter had their chicken fingers which she said was very delicious. I have eaten here in the past and I have never been disappointed with anything on the menu.

EVERYTHING here is good!! I typically get the breaded fish and shrimp combo. I don't even like chicken fingers but theirs are AMAZING! Wish they had another option for sauces for the chicken fingers though (i.e. something sweet). Their ribs are good but the BBQ sauce is a little spicy for me. I frequent this place every week and often drive 45 minutes just to get it from Blountsville. I recently recommended this place to a coworker and he said it is the best breaded fish he has ever had. The catfish is okay (nothing special) ..but I prefer the breaded fish which is REALLY good. You can't go wrong with this place.

Haven't tried the bar b que. Catfish is really good. But, last two times, it was over cooked.

Decided to try Walker's barbecue. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean but my wife and I found the food to be rather bland.

Great food, great prices! Their food is amazing but their employees are what makes it even better. They are always friendly even when we order our crazy order and when we come in to order (instead of calling it in) they know what we are going to order. Great place and definitely worth the drive from wherever you are.

Have passed this place many times and there is always a parking lot full and a long drive-thru line. (A good thing!) Finally went there today and was so glad we did! We had the fish and chips but substituted the fries for the Onion Rings. Everything was Awesome. Best Fish I’ve had in a long time. Coleslaw (Mayo style) and Onion Rings were also Wonderful. Staff were super sweet. Very Timely service. We will be back For Sure!!!

Always delicious. The beer battered chicken fingers with white sauce are my wife's favorite and I've always liked their smoked chicken. If you see a sign saying they have strawberry pie, buy a slice or a whole pie.

Excellent place to get you some good grub. That Alabama White Sauce is really good. They had piggy fries as a special and it looked amazing. I got a whole chick with the sauce. Thank to Brianna Gibbs for everything.

A-maze-ing! Delicious BBQ, great fish and awesome milkshakes. We've ordered a few times but always take out because we live nearby. Pull up to the speaker, tell them your name or order and your food will be hot and delicious! They only take cash or check. We've ordered fish and shrimp, pork BBQ plates, porky fries, chicken finger plates and its all been really good. It's not on the menu online but they also have ice cream sundaes and shakes as mentioned earlier. Highly recommend but they're only open a few days a week so get it when you can!

"Homade" banana pudding was out of a box. Ribs were ok. Rest of food was just ok. Kinda expensive for the lack of quality and what u get.
