Went to this place for a retirement party. Wasn't impressed really.

The food was excellent, especially the chicken. We had a great time with the meat raffel, too. Service was friendly and quick.

I’ve had a number of pleasant surprises in restaurants over the years, but this one ranks near the top. It doesn’t look like much, but the food and service were exemplary. Even though they were very crowded with a retirement party, the waitress went out of her way to make sure we had a table, and checked on us frequently. The food was outstanding. Don’t waste your time on the Green Lantern down the street. This place puts it to shame.

Had a great time last night closing down the bar. Super friendly bar tender, a little bit bright as far as lighting on the inside but not a bad thing. Will definitely be coming back!

The food was hood, good bBoody Mary. It was very crowded (they had a meat raffle going on) and it was a little noisy for my taste. Made it hard for my friend and I to have a conversation.

Everyone working was so fun and friendly! People at the bar seemed nice too. It can be hard to come from out of town, we felt welcome. Food and drinks were excellent as well!

Everyone raves how good the broasted chicken is, Mark the owner has let their kitchen staff dish out some dried up small portions of food be served to customers, even complained about how they even served our food is unacceptable, did not even apologize. The place has really went downhill, I would recommend Green Lantern or Paradise shores.

I couldn't be happier with this place! Amazing food for surprisingly affordable prices and the staff were super nice and attentive. Would highly recommend this hidden gem of a place. It just needs a bigger sign, it's too easy to drive past!

Best hole in wall north of the cities! Great food, staff and clientele. Convenient snowmobile ride from the cabin. Update after stupid Covid... they redid the whole bar inside!! Like a brand new bar with all the charms of the old one. Menu especially. Great job on remodeling and awesome staff and service as always! We love the chicken gizzards, burger and well priced appetizers!!

Oh my goodness this place is amazing!!!! I am a newcomer to the oak lawn tavern and I must say their food is absolutely delicious!! I tried the rib dinner that came with a mashed potato, vegetable, coleslaw and I also tried the Spaetzle which was beyond delicious. It came topped with bacon and fried onions on top of gooey mac and cheese. Great bartenders and great service with a smile. The wait staff is fantastic! it's a tiny, quaint little bar that is family owned and they also have a meat raffle and a gun raffle 😁 you can also spin the wheel during happy hour for a free drink, half price drink or $. 50 off. I highly recommend this establishment. 🍖🥃🍷🍸🍹

The burgers here are second to none. The atmosphere is bright and the help is ready at the wait. Have a drink or a beer. Watch the game or just stop in for some lunch. Doesn't matter~ The food is good all the time~ every time!

The inside has been remodeled a and is really nice. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Had burgers and the wife had a BLT that actually had plenty of bacon! Definitely recommend.

If you want the BEST burger in the area, (at a GREAT price) and fries that are actually hot and CRISP!!, this is the place. There is no better in the area. ALthough the service is drive through now, when the bldg. is open, the service is quite good and always friendly. On the exceedingly rare occasion something isn't right with your order, some kind of oops, they give you no grief, they just take care of you. I LOVE this place.
