Uber eats order of eggs, salmon, grits and toast. I was expecting better based on reviews, maybe it was just a really busy day for them, but I did not like the salmon cakes at all, the eggs had a strange taste to them and were way overcooked. The grits were really good once I dressed them up. Probably won’t order from here again.

Love love love this place!!! I asked for a ground beef omelet and when I tell you that omelet was sooooo good!!! Lord, I about hurt myself eating it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I haven’t had a ground beef omelet that good in a while and they are always so pleasant when ordering. Great job!!!

Okay.... I just started eating here2 weeks ago. First time was salmon croquettes with cheese grits and side bacon. Honestly it was good but bacon could be more of quality for $2.49 for 2 piecs. Grits cooked perfect and croquettes on point for a gullah geechie gal from South Carolina. Now this morning 11/10 same breakfast but with gravy. The paper placed between eats up the gravy just like it at up my cheese. So putting a spoon full of Grits on top of cheese could eliminate the cheese sticking to paper. Bacon still has no quality but that's minor. The Grits is gritty and needs to cook longer. Grits can't be rush and should never be gritty. It will swell up in your belly later. So remember to start another pot early so the grits can pop and be fully cooked perfect.

The food is always fresh the people worked out very nice helpful and I've been eating there for quite a few years you won't be disappointed try them

Got the steak in a sack for me (based on other reviews on Google) and was delicious !!! Got the fish breakfast for my mother (picky eater) and she devoured the whole thing ! I will try it next time but it’s definitely my new breakfast spot . Love to support small businesses

I have worked right next to Oasis for a couple years but never stopped in for whatever reason. Boy was that a mistake! The Steak In A Sack is one of the best I've ever had!!! The steak is amazingly tender and they dress it with plenty of banana peppers. The gentleman behind the counter is the friendliest and most positive person of almost any restaurant I've been to! I will absolutely be back - in fact, it might be hard for me to limit myself to not going everyday!

It was awesome! I used to live in that area of Jacksonville and occasionally would go to the Oasis and the food and service we're always fantastic! I moved to another part of Jax 11 years ago and haven't been in this area much since but my wonderful daughter wanted to take us to lunch there today and it was just as good as I remember it!!
