Been going here since 2002. It's a staple. A true Irish pub. Smithwick on tap. Their food is beyond stellar. Thr boxty potato is to die for. Take the time and go enjoy yourself.

It's one of our favorite places. We drive 2 hours to get the no.1 burger in the state. The OKeefes Burger! Best in the State. Start out with the mushrooms, also yummy. The sweet tea is right on point. We love the atmosphere of the place. The staff are very pleasant. We always have the best experience. We highly recommend Okeefes!

Been here many times. Burger was Not good today.

The atmosphere and appetizer we had were great, and our server was a sweetheart. The problem was the wait! Took a while to be seated, and every time our server left, we didn't see her again for 15 minutes. We were were there for over an hour for a bottle of beer, a draft beer, and an appetizer. The place did not seem that busy either. They did let me sample 2 beers which was great, and the shrimp stuffed mushroom caps were delicious. I would definitely try O'Keefe's again. It probably is 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 for the wait.

Food is awful. The only Irish restaurant within 25 miles refuses to operate on St. Patrick’s day because they previously got “too busy”. It’s been years now. No extra staff, no expanding outdoors. Just assume and accept defeat without even trying. Let these clowns go out of business

I had the shepherds pie, which I thought was really good. However, three people at my table had the corn beef and cabbage. And they all thought it was awful. It was thinly sliced lunch meat instead of a roast sliced pieces of meat. Atmosphere was really nice! And the server was excellent! I wish this Irish restaurant would know how to cook corn beef and cabbage especially if they’re gonna charge $19 for it

Comfortable, Clean , Well Kept . I had the Ruben , 3/4 lbs of the Best Cornbeef I've ever tasted. I did pull off more then 1/2 to be able to fit it in my bite. A waitress so quick to please , we asked for sour cream to put on their version of the Potatoe Skins ( a Potatoe cut into chunky slices topped w/t cheddar ch. & bacon 🥓) . I'm picky on a healthy drink . She suggested the club soda that comes out of the soda foutain topped with a lrg. Lime & Lemon Slice , @ no charge .Portions are for larger Appétit. My Partner had the Burger1/2 lb. Topped for a King w/t Cheese fresh sauted mushrooms that over flowed onto the plate , He shared only 1 of the tastiest Onion ring . Too much to type folks ,,But I'm going to try just about everything on there Menu. I found a Diamond in the rough.

We sat outside because we had a dog. Our server immediately brought water for the dog. Nice to see that kind of service in today's world. We had some pub food with our drinks and that also arrived with a smile

A locally owned gem. Plenty of parking if there is no event nearby. I had swordfish in a lemon butter sauce which melted in my mouth. A bit disappointed that I couldn’t get a black and tan due to the lack of Guinness in the states again.

The place is very quaint. It has the Irish atmosphere. The server was very attentive. She served our dishes as they were ready. The food tasted great. Some of our party even ordered a desert.

Absolutely love this place! Went a whim after attending an event nearby. The food was positively great, the Colcannon potatoes are the best mashedbpotatoes I've EVER had!! The server was honest and friendly, and kept our GIANT cups filled Will be coming back!!

My husband and I really like this place. We sat outside it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. I had bangers and mash excellent My husband had Shepard's pie he liked it but said need a little more seasoning. Well be back Oh yes the potato soup was delicious

Was looking for a good Ruben sandwich in put area and read good reviews on O'Keefe's! We were rewarded with a great sandwich, great server named, Jordan, and shepards pie mom had was a hit! Will definitely be back!

Fun atmosphere, excellent food and service. The bonus was that it wasn't crowded so we could have a nice conversation with our friends.

Absolutely loved this place. My dad is hard to please his plate was empty loved it. We sat outside took my fur baby they made a plain chicken plate for her. I’ve to Resturant that have menus for pet with brown rice and certain vegetables they can have just a suggestion. Both of our dishes was awesome. Service Great! We came here because another restaurant music was so loud on Friday we could hear music but enjoy the background music.

I had the Reuben and my husband had the salmon. Both were delicious! Good food! Good atmosphere! Good service!

Everything you can expect from an Irish pub. Our group was from out of town, first ones in the pub on a Sunday. Our server knew the menu front and back, knew all the specials, and made great recommendations! Definitely worth checking out!!!

Love an Irish Pub ... Guiness on tap a must. Atmosphere, drinks, food ... all good. But ... for a place that serves BEER ... the restrooms lacking. One single bathroom for men ... sorry, a bummer.

We frequent O'Keefe's often. The service is always fantastic with personal attention. Our drinks are never left empty. The food is fantastic with so many options to choose from. Anything we order we love from the French dip to fish and chips to bangers and mash. Don't forget to ask about their specials (although the servers will probably be forthcoming with it) as the chef is always cooking something up that is not on the menu.

Being on the water, there were a lot of flying insects

I had a simple Ham and Cheddar sandwich but requested Rye toast in lieu of the bun which was no problem.......the pickle and Cole Slaw were both fresh and delicious. Local Irsih pub with lots of charm. Decent portions, full bar. I got the Ribeye sandwich with fries and my friend the Fish Sandwich sandwich. Both were excellent taste, portion and hot. There is outside and inside seating.

Char-broiled burger was outstanding. Only negative was the side which consisted of only 3 skinny potato skins--very skimpy.

This place has by far the best Fish and Chips in town ! Better than another place in Mt Dora claiming to have the best! Pleasant is a rockin server 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Great place for drinks and food

A favorite of ours! The fish and boxty potatoes with the stuffed mushrooms is our go to meal. The entree is large enough for us to split, which we usually do because we can't possibly eat it all.

Server tried At least 45 mins no tuna melt or Reuben had to leave. Not that busy.2:55. 4pm ... May not return too many other choices. Unhappy guests

The best potato soup on the planet! Our server was top notch as well. Was part of the 3 hour Dora Canal tour thru Rusty Anchor Tours. Watched the seaplanes land at Puddle Jumpers as well! Dynamite trio...great food...great service...great atmosphere. Great day!!!

So we decided to sit down at this establishment because it was close to the band and we happen to find an empty table for four which we happen to be. For 15 minutes we sat there chatting just waiting for a server who came by the table right beside us at least twice we waved we yelled she ignored us. We went in and got our own drinks finally and hoping that she would come by so that we can get some menus to get some food. By our second round and constantly waving the server down who was a table right by us and yelling for her she completely ignored us, so we went in to get our second round of drinks. And then as we were continued to be ignored we went to the food trucks and got our own food and brought it back to the tables where we were sitting. We counted at least four to five times where she had approached that table my daughter and I lately stood up and waved her down and yelled for her politely, and she blatantly ignored us. We will never go back there again! Of course I can comment about none of the following below because obviously we never got to do any of the following below. But the band was really good LOL

Great Irish food the potato soup is worth dying for the French onion soup is out of this world I especially love that corned beef and egg potatoes cook county is unbelievable if you're ever in town I would definitely make sure to make time to visit O'Keefe"s restaurant.

Another GREAT night out and meal at one of our favorite "go to" restaurants in Lake County. We have always had excellent service and some of the best food you can find anywhere here at O'Keefe's. The menu has some excellent options and good variety...But I personally love the blackened steak sandwich...You definitely can't go wrong with that!! Love this place and we will be returning soon for sure.

I would give negative if I could. My daughter accidentally spilled her coke into my salad, the waitress went back and asked for a replacement because I just started it and the owners brother said I would need to pay for the replacement since I ruined the salad. When we asked to speak to him he came out. We told him we are shocked over an accident and $5 side saladand crying daughter he is not replacing the salad and we asked for the owners name he told us we could f@#$ all the way off he isn't at liberty to give out that information and took our drinks and told us to leave. We will never return and will tell EVERYONE we know.

Always a favorite for a late night dinner after work. Update:. Still a great place to eat downtown. Would give 5 stars except we would love to eat outside more but there is always several smokers, especially by the entrance door. I'd like to see that changes a bit to accommodate both smokers and non smokers. Other than that, never a bad dish or server.

Why when I go to order drinks, I am immediately bombarded with “are you gonna eat” and “are you ready to order” every 5 seconds. When I said we need a minute I was replied with a rude “you need to order food not just drinks!” I was there for only 10 minutes and stalked the entire time.

The Burguer is delicious! All foods are good! The beer is cold!!!
