Always consistent with our pressed cuban. And NEVER any issues with our food, NEVER. Definitely recommend.

Came in for crab rolls. Very disappointed! I grew up eating Tampa Crab rolls....so I know a good deviled crab. Taste not bad, although Very limited crab in the roll! Dont get your hopes up.

First, you are greeted by an unfriendly young girl that takes your order. Never smiled once at me or anyone else she waited on while I was there. I got my Cuban and chips to go, had to ask for my chips as she didn’t give them to me. Cuban was literally boiled shaved ham, with a tiny sliver of pork. I asked for extra pickles and there were maybe 3 on the entire sandwich. Not a great experience. Will try Julio’s next time.

The closest thing to going to Tampa to get a Cuban sandwich is this place!!! The customer service is amazing and the food is just like an authentic Cuban from Tampa!

I usually come here twice a month I’m not sure what the blonde girl in the kitchen was going through but when they gave me my order which took 20 mins to make one sandwich with no customers. They forgot my pastry and when I attempted to tell her she just stared at me like I was insane for a bit before silently handing me a rock hard pastry. I open my sandwich in the car and it was both soggy and hard as a rock and I couldn’t get the aluminum all the way off the sandwich to even attempt to eat to the other side when I bit into it I was disgusted with the quality.This was super disappointing as this used to be my favorite Cuban spot in Lakeland.

Went to go get the medium cuban with devil crab or potato roll special that is on their website menu. They would not honor it even though it is clearly on there so every item had to be paid full price. The sandwiches were the only decent thing. Devil crab and potato balls were mushy, flavorless, and cold. Not worth the full price of items. DO NOT GO HERE.

I only came here because a friend told me about the fake reviews. After looking at the review of the alleged “mold bread”- it’s obvious that the foil is old and that was a scam post. Either way, the sandwich was packed and I couldn’t finish it because I was full after half! Swing by Lakeland and they will do you right!

What a disappointment this was. I only gave it 1 star because it would not allow me to write a review. 1st time there and never going back. Order an Authentic Cuban sandwich and when I opened it, it was more like a ham sandwich for $10. The pork was literally 1/2 oz. I said something and all I got from the person that took my order was, I just work here. The other women that made the sandwich walk away upon me pointing out the misrepresentation of their food. Do yourself a favor, Do Not Go! You can’t say I didn’t warned you. Here is a picture to prove my point.

I've been to Ole Tampa Cubans at several locations in the area. The one I most frequent is in Plant City. This place is authentic and made to order Cubans. I especially like their deviled crabs and their black beans and rice. The only downside is the atmosphere. It is kind of bland and most of the music played isn't Latino.

I live on the north side of Lakeland and anytime. I’m on the southside close to dinner time, I always pick up takeout! The staff is always friendly and Inside is always clean, but most importantly, the food is outstanding! I’ve been picking up takeout for years and years and never had an issue! If you haven’t tried it, you need to❤️

So I ordered this and the second I opened it up I was sick. This is mold all over my sandwich. My husband went there a while back and claimed there were roaches everywhere. I had no idea or I would’ve have even considered. This is nasty and I don’t understand how people can operate like this.

This has to be one of the best cuban sandwiches I've ever eaten. It was so good, I got another one to eat later. Fantastic fries also. Will definitely be coming back.

Ordered Traditional Cuban Sandwich. Sandwich tasty but...."Where's The Pork?" And the rest of the other portions. Had much better meatier Cuban Sandwich. Cashier, Server and food prepare 1 person was pleasant. I will not go back. Greatly disappointed.

Sandwich is great when they get your order correct. Tried several times but it's 50/50 if they make it correct. Shouldn't be any pickle and yet.

Used to be the best Cubans ever but don’t know what happened because they’ve gone cheap and downhill. Last two times we’ve gotten them now, they’ve been disappointing. Pressed and should be hot but cheese (what extremely little there was) wasn’t even melted. Ordered extra pickle, only to find exactly one pickle on each sandwich. Barely any condiments and a few stringy pieces of roast beef making this a dry crunchy mess and unenjoyable. These used to be made with such pride and care and were so delicious; now I’d rather go to Subway. Thought the last ones were maybe just a fluke and an off day, but this second time was the exact same. Needless to say we’re done with this place because it is now the McDonald’s of Cuban sandwiches. Quality and taste not worth the money anymore and cheaply and hurriedly thrown together as if the staff no longer care. Such a shame.

I've never dined in this restaurant but order from Doordash usually once a month. The food is always consistently good. I love the rice and beans. The pork is always tender and juicy. The Cuban sandwiches are all really good!

The food here is absolutely fantastic..the only complaint I have is the bathroom is out of order everytime I go in there...you can't dine in and enjoy if you don't have a restroom to use....

Nope first time trying Devil Crabs didn't enjoy at all . I must have vist too late 5 30 they closed at 6 . Cuban was slimy and too much bread in devil crabs and it lasted like salmon. I'll try other places in lakeland to have something to compare with. Also who is Lama..I spelled my name and this is what he wrote on ticket..maybe that was his name..yes soup good

My wife and I love Cuban sandwiches and this is the number 1 restaurant to get a perfect Cuban without going to Cuba! Just kidding, I've never been to Cuba, so it's actually better because it's a few miles closer. What's incredible is the fact that I scrolled through an entire page of reviews without seeing any mention of the Shipwrecked Fries!!! These alone make it worth the price of admission!!! The only down side to this place is it closes at 6pm and sometimes we don't make it in time to partake.

Went today for lunch at S. Fla Ave location. The guy taking orders was rude and pushy acted like he didn't want to be there. Forgot my side and when I asked about it he got irritated. The Cuban was horrible and they loaded it with so much mustard I couldn't eat it. The rice was not fully cooked. Will not be back to this location.

This place is horrible service. I went and waited 15 minutes still didn’t get my sandwich and had to get back to work. I’ll Never go back. If you’re looking for a work lunch break place …. This isn’t it. Pre paid and lost my money ….just to get out of there and back to work. I mean how long should a small cup of soup and a 6” good no Dave sandwich take

Ordered from DoorDash they forgot the second sandwich, called up to the restaurant & they hooked us up with extra crab & potato balls. Didn’t really like the pork on the Cuban it was a little dry but my partner loved the Cubans. The potato and crab balls were awesome.

The Cuban was delicious! The prices were good as well. My only disappointment was the deviled crab. It was small and not very good.

I've been really missing being able to get an awesome cuban and crab roll since silver ring was forced out of business by the new property owner, but the other day while taking a short cut out to s fl. ave, I saw "Ole Tampa Cubans" on the side of a building in the lil strip mall, so I stopped and went in, and now I'm so glad I did! they have possibly the best cuban I've ever had in my life! It was sooooooo good!!! everything was fresh. they even slice their own fresh meat while making the sandwiches! Also they're really great, friendly people behind the counter too! they get an A+ from me! if you love eating an awesomely good cuban, then you have to check this place out!!!!

My Mom picked up dinner there and left her wallet there. They found it and delivered it to her. That is TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Our cuban today was absolutely amazing. Fries were delicious, soup tasty. My mom said one of the best Cubans in her life, the right amount of everything. And only 22$ yes yes yes.

When they say large, they spell it "H U G E." Not a fancy place, but very clean and casual. The prices are highly acceptable!

WOW! Best place in Lakeland for an authentic tasting Cuban sandwich! The price for a whole sandwich is one of the best values and you will have lunch for the next day too! Everything on the menu is so fresh! I seriously recommend trying the Stuffed Potato Ball and Devil Crab! The service was fast and friendly! I cannot say enough amazing things about this restaurant! They know what they are good at and it shows it their food!

Delicious! My husband and I split a Cuban and rice & beans. The sandwich was fantastic and the rice& beans were the perfect flavor! I also had a cafe con leche that was with coming back for! The customer service was really nice and the place very clean.

I was so surprised at how tasteless the Spanish Bean Soup was. I had ONE piece of sausage in the cup of soup. Not only was it lacking in the sausage department, there was no seasoning or flavor added to the dull and bland garbanzo beans. They definitely need to be refreshed on how to make authentic Spanish Bean Soup.

Nice cuban sandwich shop. Their slow roasted pork adds a nice flavor to their cuban. Also, added into their black beans and rice really added a next level of flavor. Their Devil crab rolls we're a little smaller than what I'm used to getting from other Cuban restaurants, but the flavor was there. Overall, it's a nice place to stop by for am authentic flavor from the Ybor area of Tampa settled down in Lakeland.

I grew up in Tampa and have eaten my fair share of deviled crabs, Cuban sandwiches, and Spanish bean soup from the best known Spanish restaurants in Ybor City . The deviled crabs from Ole Tampa in Lakeland were the best I have ever tasted. Just the right size, not a lot of dough and delicious crab filling that is seasoned perfectly. The Spanish bean soup is chocked full of beans and the broth is delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
