Not good lasagna tasted like rago and the pasta I had was hard and didn't taste fresh wasn't a good experience won't go back and omg it's so loud you can't even have a conversation with your dinner guest

If you are up for Italian food and around the Kendall area, this casual cozy Osteria 🇮🇹will surprise you. The spot is not pretentious at all, it is more along the lines of Miami's suburban areas, so you might miss it if you are not careful enough to spot it while driving by. We went to dinner on a weekday and were welcomed by JC, the host and server. He had a table ready for us, as we already had a reservation, and right away sent the other waiters to refresh us with some water, as he presented the wine menu. There were plenty of options, from Chianti to Piedmont, and we opted for a recommendation from JC, a Puglia wine that was one of the best things we tried during 🍷our dinner. As an appetizer, we tried the fried calamari, with zucchini and lemon. An option I wouldn’t order again as it didn't have anything special. Just a simple fried calamari with a regular dipping sauce. Then some of us were encouraged to order the specials, like the Bistecca ai Ferri (Grilled Skirt Steak 🥩), which was tender enough to easily slice through. This would be my favorite dish (something very odd, as being an Italian restaurant you expect the pasta to be superb). The second-best dish could be the ravioli di mare 🐠🐟🍤🦐 topped with pink wine sauce). This type of pasta is not the one I would ever order, but it surprised me how good the consistency was. Then I could state the Ravioli di Zucca Burro e Salvia, Fresh homemade ravioli filled with ricotta, pumpkin, and amoretti cookies 🥠in a 🧈butter sage sauce. The pasta was al dente and the filling was very tasty, but a little bit too sweet. If you are a sweet tooth kind of person, definitely this is your choice. I love sweet stuff, but this was too much, even for me, still, I would give it the third and final place, and this is because I wouldn’t suggest the other two dishes. JC was friendly enough to split my plate so I could try the ravioli ricotta, as well as the Penne Zucca e Pancetta because I was undecided on which to order. The Penne was al dente, but the cheese sauce was too heavy and the Zucca was just sliced and mixed in the sauce, not adding any real value to the dish the worst part is that it was not real pancetta, it supposedly was prosciutto, but to be honest it didn’t taste like it. At least having the options of the two dishes combination balanced out the sweetness of the Ravioli. And the most disappointing dish to me was the Paglia e Fieno ai Funghi 🍄🍄‍🟫 which was supposed to be bathed in Truffle oil, but I never tasted it. The pasta was so dipped in sauce that it wasn’t even al dente and that’s a killer for me. The overall problem with the pasta was that the chef suffocates them in sauce, and if they were genuine, only with a scent of sauce it would be more than enough to excel. I do have to admit that I was obsessed with the garlic 🧄warm 🍞bread served on the table, I couldn’t stop eating it…In the end, the extra sauce from the pasta worked perfectly for dipping the bread with it, and always asked for it to be served warm, it makes all the difference. For Desserts, they brought some classic cannoli, which were too stiff and the cream was glued to it. We also had a white chocolate, lemon 🍋mascarpone with a scoop of ice cream 🍦, that actually was pretty refreshing because it balances the sweet and bitter on a sweet tasty spot. I would actually like to give it 3 stars and a half, ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but there is no option for it, still I would stop by this Italian restaurant if I’m around and hungry for pasta and of course the garlic warm bread 🍞!

From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The menu boasts a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

I'll let you in on a secret....give back the menu. It's amazing. Obviously. You'll love every dish. Duh. That's not the reason to come here. Come here and ask to be fed. Ask for the whole specials menu- they'll split it between two people. You come here to eat, not make decisions. Let them worry about it and you just have a good time. I love this place for that reason. I hope they never get too overcrowded to lose that first date feel with the person you're going to marry. Yo, there's this hidden gem of a restaurant you gotta check out. They serve the best Italian food in town, hands down!

My best friend had her rehearsal dinner here and all I can say is that this is the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. They cook for you like you’re family, they serve you like you’re family and they go out of their way just to make sure your entire experience is a good one. I still dream about the risotto I had.

As a true italian i Can tell This place has overcome my expectation! The Alfredo Pasta was the best! Followed by Pasta Bolognesa and Veal Piccata! The Macchiato coffee was the true representation of the italian coffee! If you are in the area do not hesitate to stop and have your home fresh made food! Way better than eating processed food at any big chain! Very well priced as well specially for the quality of food you get!

We were looking forward to eating at this restaurant, had a 7 PM reservation on a Thursday and arrived at 7:08, they gave away our table. Not very nice, will not be eating at this restaurant for sure.

Small restaurant in our neighborhood. Great food and the owner as well as the staff were the best. And when we said we were celebrating our anniversary the gave us prosecco. Very nice. Will be back soon

This food here is absolutely delicious. I recommend getting the Calamari, Rollatini di Melanzane (eggplant wrapped around mozzarella), Fettuccine del Cuoco (Italian Sausage pasta), & Sogliola ai Profumi (flounder filet).

We decided to celebrate our Valentine’s Day after the mad rush was over. We checked the reviews and they were all amazing. We made our reservations and were so excited. It’s a small place but what they lack in space they more than make up for in spectacular service and such a welcoming attitude. Before we walked in we were immediately greeted and treated like family. The menu has a little bit of everything and the best thing is they will allow you to substitute items. Our server (Uriel) was the best!!!! His passion was so genuine and he was asking us questions on what we liked to ensure our meal was perfect and it was!!!! This place is what all restaurants should strive for. Treat your customers like family and make their experience as wonderful as possible. We loved everything about Osteria. We will definitely come back to try our other amazing dishes. If you’re carving some Italian food and amazing service look no further.

Excellent attentive service by JC and staff, most important our appetizer Pólipo Allá Griglia octapus, dinner Osso Bucco with Rissoto and the recommended limoncello cake dessert was all so delicious! Definitely will be coming back to try other yummy Italian dishes!

I have been driving past this place for years and finally decided to stop by. I was encouraged by the 4.8 stars they had on google. When I first walked in I noticed it didn’t smell like food and that was the first red flag. The first thing we got was bread service and the bread was horrible. It was burnt and lacked salt. We ordered a bottle of Merlot, mushroom risotto and the beef agnolotti. The mushroom risotto was extremely disappointing. The risotto was under cook and under seasoned and for $25? That is a crime. The agnolotti tasted exactly like a can of Chef Boyarde ravioli. The filling was dry and the sauce was lacking body and flavor. It is crazy to me that this place has 4.8 stars. The best thing we had on the table was the bottle of wine and that was because they didn’t make it. We did not finish our plates and left to go find dessert else where after seeing a couple send back an entire tiramisu after having one bite.

Food is absolutely delicious. Menu is a bit pricey, portions are rather small, but the quality makes up for it. Service was very uncoordinated with multiple waiters coming by asking the same thing when we already ordered, almost too casual.

Hace un mes mi esposa y yo estuvimos en este restaurant y decidimos incluirlo entre nuestros favoritos. Ayer mi esposa hizo una reservación días antes para ayer (8/19/23). Le aconsejaron que llegara en punto porque no guardaban la mesa. Invitamos a un matrimonio amigo y al llegar a las 7:50 el dueño nos dijo que no existía la reservación. Después de recordarle los detalles dijo que esas cosas pasaban y que no podía hacer nada. Ni siquiera se disculpó. Que vergüenza. A quién le vuelva a suceder, que no digan que no fueron advertidos. 7:15pm on a Friday. Not full but don’t take the table by the door. The entire night you’ll be hit by the door, every time it opens. The door slammed into me at least four times. Atmosphere. So loud you can’t hear the person across from you. Left with a headache. Seafood pasta tasted like the water it was boiled in. No flavor. Lasagna was ok, but nothing amazing. Strawberry dessert thing was meh. Looks better than it tasted. If you want good Italian food. Try “Crust” downtown. Or even “Two Brothers” in Kendall

Simply the best Amazing staff: Most friendly waiters I have ever THE FOOD: The absolute best Italian food I’ve eaten in a super long. The garlic bread was sensation unlike any other, the best bread EVER. The octopus is a must probably the best in Miami. This is one of the few restaurants in Miami where you can really experience the typical Italian food from the Italian countryside. The service is excellent, the quality and authenticity of the dishes that are prepared here will make you transport yourself to Italy without having to leave Miami.

A local Italian restaurant that will reel you in with amazing service, a quaint interior and an exquisite cuisine. We tried several appetizers, all very good however the main courses are reminiscent of Florence. I had an amazing Branzino with risotto, my wife had the pesto gnocchi while the rest of our party tried the ravioli. They absolutely loved it and my wife's gnocchi is a must try. Honestly. I truly, truly enjoyed the food age the ambiance. There was a large party of older ladies having a whale of a time, singing along to the music and the staff even raised the volume so now they're singing louder and the rest of us joined in. Great experience, can't wait to return

Truly delightful, authentic Italian cuisines. My boyfriend and I love this restaurant, the quality of the food, and the service from the staff. We have been dining here several times. My boyfriend likes to speak to the staff and give them praises from the taste of the food. One night, we received complimentary wine glasses to drink after our meal from who I believe is the owner. Truly amazing. We love recommending this place ❤️

What a disappointment 😞. Spent close to $200 for 3 ppl. Ordered; burrata con prosciutto, vegetable soup, caprese invernale. Burrata was good, not spectacular. Vegetable soup was horrible! Its a broth with an overwhelming powerful taste of cumin. The waiter didnt even acknowledged me when I expressed my dislike of the soup. The Caprese was another disappointment..roasted soggy tomatoes and tasteless bocconeini. My son ordered the special lamb and three cheese risotto. Tasteless. Lacked flavor. I ordered the Lasagna de carne. Same tasteless flavor! The bolognese sauce had no flavor and it was not that hot. I'm pretty sure it was pre made. The 3rd dish was linguine gamberie e zucchine. It contained 1 slice of zucchini cut in 4, 1 cherry tomatoe cut in half and a total of 4 shrimps. This was the best tasting of what we ordered..but it also was bland. The service was ok..at best.

The food is excellent! We had capaletti sucre which is pumpkin, ricotta and amaretto cookies stuffed in ravioli. Also had special if braised lamb with risotto in a strawberry wine sauce. Service is also excellent. Definitely recommend!!

From the moment that you walk in you feel like you are in Italy. I love how the the owner greets you with enthusiasm enthusiasm when you walk through those doors. Their waiters are extremely knowledgeable on their menu or menu and offer the perfect recommendations every time. There is not one plate that I have tried there that I have not liked. Their pasta is fresh and all dishes are decadent. The bread that they give you is homemade and delicious. It's a small mom and pop restaurant so if you are planning to go with a big group I do not recommend it, but it is perfect for a date night.

My friend and I went to Osteria Vecchio Piemonte on Tuesday for lunch. We had the burratta con prosciutto, the l'insalata vecchia Piemonte and the branzino con spaghetti. For dessert, we had the limoncello cake. The dishes were as delicious as they were fresh!!!!! We were able to share everything as the portions were ample. The service was also excellent as the staff interacted with all the customers, making everyone feel welcome!!!!! Wonderful experience!!

It was my first time coming to this restaurant, and I highly recommend coming here to eat dinner. It's small but very cozy and the food is delicious. One thing make sure to come with an appetite the foods awesome 🙂😎. I recommend to come and try it it will be your favorite Italian spot.

Good food but bad customer service. My wife called to place to place an order, they would pick up and hang up on her knowingly and have done so in the past. When I went to pick up our food the staff were rude and though the restaurant wasn’t busy seemed annoyed I was picking up takeout and shood me away. Food was poorly packed as well and opened on its own. I am told it is nice to dine in but don’t order takeout here.

Decent, considering the unassuming location. Food is hit-or-miss. The pastas are okay, but the sauces are too runny. The eggplant rollatini sauce is downright bad - has the texture and taste of a canned tomato sauce preparation. Grilled dishes and sides are good, as are the desserts. The espresso is not. An acceptable wine list with reasonable prices. The owner/manager is a bit of a douche, but the service is otherwise okay.

Osteria is located in an unassuming strip mall that I passed for years without thinking much about it. Little did I realize I was missing possibly the best Italian restaurant in Miami, certainly the best in Kendall. The service was standout, and the food was exquisite. If you ever have a chance to go I would highly recommend it.

PLEASE COME HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT !! Get anything on the menu and you will not regret it ! Phenomenal ! 1000 stars !

This is how dining should be!! We went for lunch and had the Mahi Mahi with lemon caper sauce and a salad. The service was impeccable with the owner constantly checking on us. I loved the intimate/cozy vibe of the spot and everything was freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Definitely an authentic Italian restaurant for those with a discernible palate. Legamos sin reservacion y tuvieron la amabilidad de darnos una mesa de 2'x2' la cual los platos no cabian. Se nos ocurio pedir una lasagña de carne, horrible, no preguntaron que tal, le dijimos la verdad, el mozo nunca mas volvio por la mesa, que pena por que las veces que hemos estado ahi hemos pefido ravioles rellenos Mala experiencia con pera , muy buenos.

This place is amazing! I’ve been to Italy before and when I visited this place reminded me of Italy a lot. It’s the perfect local-private restaurant for pasta and Italian vibes. The staff is great and the food is delicious. The four cheese ravioli is so good! I highly recommend it.
