Great food, place is a work in progress but we had a beautiful night to enjoy the outdoor seating. We took a big sample of tapas. My Cuban girlfriend and her son, who are familiar with authentic Cuban food, enjoyed everything and said nothing was missed by going vegan. Food was prepared quickly and brought to our table. Servers and staff were super helpful and kind.

Very delicious!!!! We will definitely return! We tried the chorizo spaghetti, cuban burrito, yuka fries, and garlic cilantro sauce. [Update: we tried the mushroom bowl and pulled pork bowl. Very delicious but we felt ripped off by the portions 😔]

This is the only place in South FL where you can get real vegan Cuban food. Everything on the menu is amazing, but the breakfast empandas and VCC Masitas Shroomwich are my favorite 😍 100% worth the 45 min drive from Fort Lauderdale!!

100% legit vegan Cuban spot, need I say more?

I am a vegan of 5 years and loved this place (I order weekly) until I realized their customer service is trash. I tried to notify by calling that the spaghetti tasted old and smelled foul ( I am aware of vegan meals and dishes having unique flavors) but this was clearly a awful smell that made it impossible to eat this. Their solution was basically “we cannot do anything about it and the dish you’re complaining about has received 0 complaints today” Why are you comparing one customers experience to others and generalizing? I was also told to physically drive there and bring the nasty dish for them to “see what they can do” which is not guaranteeing me anything as a customer. Hence why I asked to have it delivered. 0 IQ. No professionalism

Thank you for being the first in Miami to offer vegan Cuban food! Your food is so tasty and you can tell it’s made with love and care. I always go whenever I’m in the area.

I've eaten here several times and not one item has been disappointed. They serve all the cuban classics and more so everyone has something. I even had my very non-veg hispanic family to try it and they were all surprised and delighted by the food! They loved the croquetas, imperial rice, and the vegan beef. They were in disbelief. Once they open their indoor dining, I will definitely be going more often since the takeout hurts the quality of the food in my opinion.

I ordered food for our vegan film crew and I decided to order the Ropa Vieja. Oh my gosh, I am so impressed by the quality and taste of the food quite frankly it taste better then some of the other ones that I’ve had that actually use meat. it was a very generous portion and what I really love about the packaging is that they use compostable containers. This place knocks it out of the park. Everything that I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious from the guava cheese, Pastelitos to the croquettes. This place is absolutely fantastic and the portions are very generous. so to all the vegans that are in search for tasty food this is your spot.. I’m not even a vegan and I’m coming back here for some more food.. much respect to the chef and the establishment owners for this gem of a place in Kendall.

This place truly deserves a 5 out of 5 stars. I’ve been coming here since 2019’s Vegandale festival! I love their food and love how they serve a vegan twist on so many good Cuban food recipes! As a true Cubano, te amo mucho Vegan Cuban Cuisine! Y’all are amazing at what you do 🫶🏻

Got a Too Good To Go bowl and was super disappointed. It was suppose to have a value of $18, which thru the app I paid 5.99. Had seen the online reviews for this restaurant which got me excited to give them a try when I noticed they were on Too Good To Go. The guy I picked up my bowl from was friendly and kind. The problem was the bowl- it was plain white rice with unseasoned boil yuca, about a tablespoon (really- see picture) of a yellow egg tofu scramble mixture, 2 and a half slices of tomato, and some brown crunchy stuff sprinkled on top. This was not an $18 value or even a $6 value, as described. I had hoped for a tasty vegan experience and was completely disappointed by this meal 😞

This is a go to spot whenever I’m in Miami! The food is SOOOO good. Flavorful and good portions. The prices are kind of high on Uber for some of the items, but the food is good nonetheless! 😋 the burritos, Cuban sandwich and guava&cheese pastelitos are a go to.

Last time we came to Miami we were vegetarian and we really loved the Cuban food we discovered here. I was looking for a vegan Cuban restaurant and I was really happy to find Vegan Cuban Cuisine. And it probably was the best vegan food we ever had. ❤️

Wow! This place is a must! The food here was amazing! Our server was the highlight of our meal. He was young, VERY energetic, and outgoing. We loved his energy. We each ordered something different so that we could all try each item. Everything was AMAZING and we are definitely fans. Wish we had this place in New Mexico! The only item that we weren't completely sold on was the tiramasu. It was really good, but the extract was a bit too strong. They currently only have outdoor dining, which wasn't too terrible with the fan. Seems like they are remodeling the inside of the restaurant. But something to consider if you're unable to sit outside.

Wow amazing flavorful and not salty at all. What a great option for us who are really trying to do more vegan meals and need options. They provide that without sacrificing the Spanish flavor. We tried the "picadillo" with lentils and salad. Their chickpeas croquet. Wow, better than I expected. Please keep in mind that all vegan substitutes and textures will be different. The outside texture of the chickpea croquet is different than a regular croqueta. But I found it 👍 I loved their coffee bombon. We had it with the housemade oatmilk. So creamy, no extra sugar needed. My only complaint is that the coffee is a bit small for $4. It's like a 2 ounce cup. So we ended ordering another one. I did see that soon they are opening their inside portion to eat, which is great because Miami humidity is no joke 😵‍💫😵‍💫. It's the only reason I put 3 stars for the atmosphere.

Great spot for vegan Cuban grindz & vegan food, period! Entire menu is vegan and you would never even know it! So tasty and not overpriced like lots of other spots that offer "vegan options" just cuz it's trending. Seriously... Stop ready and just order. You won't regret it! If u feel like reading more, here goes: I actually started out ordering from here with Uber eats before I had a vehicle and I would get the popular suggestions from the app. Recently, I was able to go in person and really explore the menu... Let's just say I went back the very next day! I repeat... Stop reading and just do it! Only downside is that it's more of a take out spot than a sit down and eat vibe. There IS outside seating, but the way this Florida heat is set up....... I suggest avoiding the 12 o'clock sun at least! Enjoy! :) PS. Sorry the only Pic in have was the breakfast french toast 🤦🏽‍♀️ I ate the other stuff too quickly, my bad.

Over priced food, didn’t even get a refill on a $7 strawberry drink… never ever are these people taking my money

I love this place. The taste is amazing. I have to drive an hour here but it’s so worth it. My husband and kid love it as well. My husband is a sucker for cheap and quality, my kid likes fruits ( leans on the healthier side) and I appreciate good taste. In this place, you can get all of that! Food comes out fast, the waiter is always very friendly and attentive. I also like to try something different every time I go. The only thing I would chance is the setting. I once sat in the table closest to the parking lot on a sunny day and it was a bit unbearable, specially because the fans did not reach over there. So maybe adding more shade in the back could help with that. Other than that, I will continue to go as much as possible.

Love this place. Their "ham" croquetas has great texture and the flavoring will make you wonder if it really is vegan (it is). The arroz imperial and croqueta preparada are my favorites, along with the vegan Tequeños. Everything is delicious.

My friend showed me this spot, I enjoyed their food so much - 100% recommended for all vegans and or vegetarians.

Vegan cuban cuisine has such a special place in my heart. My mom and I have been ordering ever since it was just the cubano at coconut grove market and um market. Then to getting pickup from aguacate and delivery during covid. Ventanita pickup only, opening outdoor dining and now indoor as well. It has always been incredible. But watching the business grow and adding more and more items is even better. I moved out of miami but now every couple months when I come back to visit this is a must... immediately! It is such a great place to get all the comfort miami staples but also vegan. And a great opportunity to support local business. The absolutely best, will always recommend. Even my meat eating family loves the food here, that's how you know!

what a shame that i have to leave 3 stars. this place used to be sooooo amazing. and it has the potential to be perfect. the food itself is still great, but they skimp out on ingredients like crazy!! every time i order a carne con papa, there’s one papa (potato) if any at all. the spaghetti chorizo used to have chorizo and cheese in every bite, now there’s only a tiny layer of chorizo. for a place that chargers two dollars per SAUCE, you’d think they’d be a little more generous with their servings. although the food is fanstastic, I'm tired of paying their expensive prices just to get bamboozled every time.

By far one of my favorite vegan spots in Miami! I love Cuban food, so after choosing a vegetarian lifestyle finding this place was heaven sent! Everything is delicious and the costumer service is wonderful!

Affordable and DELICIOUS!!! Not dry but not greasy, everything was well cooked and seasoned! I recommend the French Toast and Breakfast burrito 😋🤤🤤.

The picadillo bowl was really good and a big portion. The strawberry lemonade was also very good. The cuban sandwich was not to my liking. The consistency of the “lechon” was kinda slimy and i didn’t like the seasoning. I also tried the ham and chickpea croquettes. Also good. I will definitely be back to try their other menu items. I believe their interior dining will be open in about 1 to 2 months. They have a few outside dining tables, but if it’s raining, you will get wet. As a picky eater that doesn’t like healthy food lol, the food was overall pretty tasty. I would definitely recommend the picadillo bowl.

Great food full of flavor and delicious. Portion was filling. Super friendly staff. The best meal, freshest fries and coldest beer in Costa Rica the whole week. Even non vegan and vegetarians would enjoy this place. The cookies are yummy.

Ordered a guava pastry and what I received was a guava and cheese pastry. So the following day I went back with receipt explaning to employee and immediately was told NO can’t do anything about it. Foods not all that and after this experience definitely won’t go back for a $4 pastry.

Had to stop here on the way home. They were super quick to make Togo and also an add on colada so we could make it to the airport. THANK YOU!! Wish we could have sat in their cute outdoor patio seating. Looks like indoor seating coming soon. The ham croquettes and Cuban sandwich are a must. The Guava & Cheeze Pastelito was soooo good. You can order on the virtual menu or the QR code at the tables. I wish this business all the success in the world!

Amazing food! Very authentic cuban food. Even my non-vegan family thought everything was amazing. The inside dinning is currently under construction, but there is a very nice area outside to eat. Ordering from the app is very easy. Definite 👍!!! ¡Fantastico! !Delicioso!

I stumbled on this place when visiting my best friend who lives around the corner. I don't live in Miami anymore and I really missed good Cuban food. This place really hit the spot! I wanted to try everything! Definitely get the pastelito de carne! That was my favorite thing there. Everything was good and tasted like the "real" thing. My best friend, who is not vegan, took a bite of the ham croqueta and said, are you sure this is vegan?! It tastes like a real ham croqueta! I will definitely be coming back!

The food was average and the service was terrible. The waiter never brought us what we asked for and didn't even check up on us once, even after we left a decent tip up front. It was very slow, so there's no excuse.

I was so impressed by how authentic and tasty this restaurant was. I tried some of my childhood favorites such as the ham and cheese croquettes and it tasted just like the non-vegan version. The service was friendly and fast. I'd recommend this place to anyone vegan or not that's looking for a taste of true cuban food. In my short time visiting I had to visit twice. They have a cute little outdoor patio and are working on opening up more seating in the neighboring building.

The food is unbelievably good! I decided to try them today after seeing their ig a few weeks ago. I got the beef and ham and cheese empanadas and both were so flavorful and fresh. I also got the carne con papas which was also really good and that Chunk meat alternative is one of the best I’ve tried. 5 stars!!! I know I’ll definitely be back.

Good service, great food, I've never eaten there always to go so I can't comment to much on the dive in experience but seems fine. They also going to be expanding to next door to have a proper indoor seating area. I've eaten most of their menu, haven't had a bad item yet. Highly recommend!

They are expanding and hopefully hiring! I think that may help. The worker was very pleasant, but there is no discernable service...it's help yourself mostly, not a fan.

Food was fantastic! The croquettes and empanadas were delicious. The outdoor self service patio was also makes this a great little spot!

They’re under construction now but the outside seating is covered and adorable. The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I had the empanadas and the potato ball (that was my favorite). Also had the coffee with milk, lightly sweetened with cinnamon and OH MY GOODNESS. Some delicious coffee.

Drinks are amazing! Food was really good, but could have come out a little warmer. Felt like everything was reheated and not reheated enough. Outdoor seating area where you can also order from your phone at your table. Complimentary water station.

Enjoyed the plant-based version of some of the Cuban food I grew up with. When we attended they were working in expanding and did not have indoor seating available but it did not take away from our experience. Nice weather outside and the seating area made for a good change of pace.

Some of the most delicious food we've ever had! The sandwiches, croquetas, pastelito, papa relleno, and abuelitas flan were so authentic that it was hard to believe it was vegan. We want to try everything on the menu. We're visiting from Lake Nona in Orlando and hope you expand to our area!

I hadn’t had a croqueta in over 20 years since I had become a vegan and the croqueta is that this place makes taste so close to the real thing it’s shocking. All of their bus still is and empanadas and pretty much everything I had on the menu there was phenomenal. I went back four times in the week that I was in Miami and it’s definitely on my must visit place. Every time I go back to Miami it’s a must stop for vegans. It’s only outdoor seating and it’s in a little strip mall so it’s very easy to parks

I was only in the area for a couple of days, and drove an hr just to try this place! I had heard about it through tik tok. Everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend and 100% would come back.

What an absolute gem! When my flight landed and I was stuck on the tarmac for two hours, I placed an Uber Eats order to have waiting at my hotel. Really great decision! I ordered the Croqueta Bowl. The flavor. Muy rico! The chickpea croquetas and plantains make the dish! The guava and cheeze pastelito was perfectly stuffed! I went to eat brunch this morning at their location. The outdoor seating is so lovely. The egg burrito was flavorful, along with a side of perfectly done plantains! I appreciated the kindness of the staff! They made my Sunday so lovely! Oh-and I ordered delivery again tonight. I just can’t get enough. I hope this place brings you as much joy as it did me! Gracias por todos!!

So this is a restaurant with outdoor seating and vegan dishes that have a Cuban flare. I wish I had come there hungrier because I would have loved to try more dishes. You can order from your table using your phone, which is where you pay before getting food. There is also a kiosk at an empty window which allows patrons to order. I ordered a gluten free vegan picadillo with garlic yuca. It came with brown rice as well. I enjoyed the dish, it was a beautiful day - so the outdoor seating was a nice effect. I can see myself going again, I'd like to try the vegan "ham" croquettes. I'll warn you that 2 of us had lunch (no drinks, no dessert) for $50 though.

This vegan Cuban restaurant is located in the heart of Kendall and it is a gem! I had their vegan burgers, and it was absolutely delicious. Keep in mind it is outside seating, and seating is limited. Also, the rating for service is almost not applicable as you need to order through the machine and the only service received is when they bring out your order. Their tiramisu is great and it is a good portion.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and I usually get the burrito which is good. But the have this new seasonal burger that was sooo good I had to leave a review. If you like veggie burgers, this is the place to go. Its called "the better burger" Even though it's a specialty/seasonal item I hope they make it a regular one. 10/10

I was curious af. And honestly they did not disappoint. I ordered the imperial rice, with the boiled yuca, a garliccilantro sauce, the lentils and a ham croquette. And for being essentially vegan, it was delicious.

Great place with all the traditional Cuban cuisine but veganized. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful. I will definitely go back before flying back to the West Coast.

Can’t really vote on service. The only interaction is when the food comes out. Yes there is a restroom inside. Just ask and the door is open.

Outstanding food I’m not even vegan but I tried there food 3 times now and it’s been great all 3 times! Update -been over a month eating this food on a regular and it hasn’t disappointed ever .I feel healthier and Iv even lost some weight . The guy in the front with the Afro is really polite and very nice always happy to answer my questions with a smile .

Food is always delicious, and the service is outstanding

Wow, wow, WOW! Amazing! The Croquetas had me thinking there was meat in there! It's INCREDIBLE how good and close it tastes to the real thing! I haven't eaten meat for a good year now, and i was taken back. It was so good that after my wife and i finished eating, we took 10 croquetas to go! FANTASTIC!!! Highly recommend!

Service is incredibly slow… we’ve been here for 30 minutes and they haven’t even started our order yet. It’s not that busy either. Owners/management need to either hire more staff or train current staff about sense of urgency and speediness. There is one employee that is moving very slow and doesn’t seem to have a sense of urgency. The rest of the people waiting here are also fed up with how long it’s taking. Something has to change or this is going to negatively impact the business and customer satisfaction

I came just to order the croquetas, I end ordering more things to take out. I got home and the croquetas weren't in the package, I called them and they didn't offer to make it better for me. The way is set up is not right, you have to order from a computer and they don't have indoor seating only outdoors. So forget going there during Mia Summer. I was so excited to take my friend the famous croquetas, and it was a real fiasco. So disappointing. The food I ate was greasy and I really didn't like it. I've been vegan for 19 hrs. Maybe it was the whole experience 🤐

Saw a lot of reviews for this restaurant. Decided to give it a shot. We ordered a couple of bowls. The beans tasted delicious. The food was good. Friendly staff. Their sweet plantains were little under cooked. Will definitely return to try different items. As of right now they do not have indoor seating. But they are working on it. I would also say some of it is overhyped.

Update, January 2024. I ate here again and I cannot stress how wonderful it is. The ease of ordering electronically at the front is FANTASTIC (I was hesitant last time I came). Service was amazing. And, the food - soooo delicious. I don't particularly care for Cuban food, but I could eat THIS Cuban food day and night. The little seating area out front is so clean and charming. Get the Imperial Rice. Get it - it is plentiful to share and so delicious! Love this place!! From before: NOTE: This little restaurant is completely VEGAN - there is no meat served - only delicious plant-based meat substitutes. I couldn't believe that this wonderful little Cuban Restaurant was VEGAN and that I just discovered it! I ate here today and everything about it is delightful. Not only is the food delicious, atmosphere charming, and service exceptional - it is also very tech-savvy (which I am NOT) in ordering. This is a strip type little mall with plenty of free parking. The restaurant has about 8 cute little wooden tables outside with plants all around and BIG FANS for the South Florida heat. You go up to the window to order. The menu in front of the place and you order from it without a human. It is a touch screen with several categories (breakfast, entrees, apps, sandwiches, etc.) - and photos of the food you are ordering. You choose what you want, if you want sauces with it, the type of rice, beans, etc. Then you submit your order and pay with a card - all right in front of you. (You can also order on your phone and there is a thing there to tell you how, but I have no idea how to do that.) The restaurant front is an open window and a very nice young man is right inside to answer any questions. The menu ordering is super-simple once you get the hang of it. You submit your name, chose to-go or eat-in and in a few minutes your food is brought out by that young man. I ordered the "chicken" plate that came with black beans (again choice of), rice (white, brown), plantains. I also ordered some "Boniato (Cuban Sweet Potato)" even though I had no idea what it was. The plate was fantastic and plenty of food and the Boniato - SO DELICIOUS (came with a little pink dipping sauce). If you go here, be SURE to order a side of them. The young man who was bringing out the food and answering questions and doing everything was SO NICE. He was pleasant and very helpful with all my questions. The containers that the food comes in is compostable (I love that) and the utensils are lightwood wood - very environmentally friendly! This was such a pleasant dining experience for me and I am so happy to have found this yummy little vegan place.
