Food so good you have to try it

After our first experience we didn't think we'd go back but we decided to give it another try. We were very pleased this time. Our server SUSIE was awesome, funny, friendly and very efficient. There was 5 in our group. We had the margarita Flatbread appetizer and mixed drinks from the bar which were all great. Around the table we had brisket, ribs, salads & various sides. Everything was delicious and plenty enough to bring home leftovers. The key lime pie melted in your mouth. We spoke to Mike the manager to let him know they were over the top this time and definitely made up for the first disappointment. We will definitely go back making sure we will ask for Susie also.

We found this restaurant on yelp and had a wonderful experience! Our food was so good and our waitress, Tayler, was wonderful!

I tried Ovation Bistro because of all the glowing reviews, but unfortunately I didn't have the same positive experience. I picked up a half rack of ribs that tasted good enough, but were pretty rough and dry, so I only ate half. Next, I requested EXTRA crispy fries and literally got the opposite, they were very soft and more like noodles. The macaroni was okay. Not sure if I just got a bad batch of food that day, but I most likely will not be eating here again.

Tayler was amazing! We brought our puppy to have brunch for the first time and she was so sweet and attentive! She made sure she had water and we were taken care of! Highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and our puppy was very content.

My family bought a home in Davenport and we wanted to find the best restaurants nearby and avoid all the chain restaurants. Ovation was a huge hit with the whole family. The menu had great variety, the food was fresh, we loved it. The atmosphere felt great and the service was top notch. Ariana took great care of us and was so excited for us to enjoy our food and have a good evening. Our experience was truly top notch. I highly recommend Ovation.

Served by a female who clearly does not enjoy what she is doing. Cold very blunt and simply made this visit a mistake. I have visited the restaurant before and been given the best service. Nick previosuly served us at the bar and helped us and i am glad we have him as a reference for what is possible. Taylor needs to either up her game or accept this is not the job for her. again rude abrasive and would be nice to be offered refills. maybe in the future we will get better service

Jason was handsome the best services I have had in a long time. He saw I was doing school work on my laptop and told me he will give me space so if I need anything wave him down. He recommended the Jerk sandwich wish was so filling without being heavy. My cup never went dry as he would refill my drink when I had 1/3 left. He would swing by ever once in a while just to see if I need anything. Great guy, amazing food, and I can’t wait to come back!

My family and I stopped in to this place after leaving Disney. 9 of us walk in and within less than 3 minutes they had pulled tables together to accommodate our large group. Jason our waiter was phenomenal with our kids and with us. I was feeling pretty lousy after too many rides previously in the afternoon, and he stepped up and met our needs. Amazing food (burger, fish, alfredo, Mahi Mahi, pretzel bread... it was all so well. Would absolutely stop in again and recommend to everyone!

Stopped by this place while being in Davenport. The place is very chill and the food is really good. Our server was very nice. A good place to try out has very good food options. The only thing that was interesting is that the Caesar salad was a wedge salad instead with Caesar dressing. 😊

We had server Jasan and he was so entertaining yet on top of his game. The food was excellent we had the prime rib special which was very tender. We will visit again when in the area.

Food was delicious and our waiter Adriana attended us very good with an amazing attitude. The manager Mr.Cristian was very nice too. Just saw a waiter that i took my time to also ask her name Ariana seemed VERY rude specifically with the manager Cristian. She thinks she is the owner of the place with an attitude towards him in front of us clients. She is not professional at all. Just because she is family of the owner doesn't mean she need to have that attitude in the restaurant and treat the employees in a bad manner. Besides all food was delicious and i recommended.

Excellent food and service. We come often and never fails to deliver great dining. The prime rib and spareribs melt in your mouth like butter. Our waiter, Jason, super attentive and personable. Looking forward to next time.

Our server Jason was just as phenomenal as the food! Although the NY Strip was so freaking good you could cry! Jason was knowledgeable, funny and an absolutely charming Gent! The ribeye was perfectly cooked and the scallops I added were out of this world! Also, the mushroom lobster sauce for the steak was rich, succulent and Delicious.Love this place, they never disappoint!

Everything was just amazing . I just celebrated my birthday with my family and the food was excellent service was phenomenal, we had a lot of fun. 10 out of 10 recommend…. This place is definitely very demure :)

First, the place is dark and not very clean. Our server Brenda was fantastic!! We ordered the brisket and pulled pork sandwich, both had little meat considering the price (over $16 and $15 respectively. Not bad but have tasted much better ones, it was better when when we added extra sauce, otherwise is kind of bla ! and little dry. And the price too much for the amount of meat. We spent $40.28 with Tip with for two sandwiches of a size of a small slide bread with fries and two glasses of water. First time visiting and last. I do not recommend.

VERY GOOD MEAL steak was cooked perfectly, baked Potato EXCELLENT if your in the area you have to make it to Ovation... Was waiting to check in my hotel and Shelly at Hampton Inn recommended Ovation, service from Victoria was FANTASTIC. Dessert now ? Of course Pinapple upside-down cake.

Jason, Has been our server in the past & always a pleasure, attentive & provides great service!! He realized I went a bit heavy on the BBQ sauce today and by the end of my meal he confessed he was impressed I managed to keep my shirt clean. The funny part is I was more impressed than him because I’ll dirty my shirt with any meal without the “BBQ Sauce”! 😂 We highly recommend Jason as your server during your visit at Ovation!

Walked in and was seated right away. Cool. Sat for about 15 mins or so, never saw our server. 5 mins later another couple was seated, got their drinks and another server took their order. Someone did stop at our table to tell us who our server was, but she walked by our table 3 times. Never said a word. So, we left.

Foods pretty good, drinks are great but we really come to get take care of by Keily. She’s amazing! Keeps us laughing and drinks filled, never thirsty which is my biggest pet peeve while dining out.

Jason is an absolute delight. Cracks jokes and works hard. Had a small issue with the meal but he was quick to make it right. He has quite the sensor of humor so prepare yourself to laugh if you’re lucky enough to sit in his section. Jason, there’s a love letter in the mail for you.

Worst service I’ve had . I will never go back and will let everyone know not to go . Server kept hiding from us and we had to ask for condiments from our neighbors.

I have lived in Davenport for 5 years. My husband always wanted to try this place but we never managed to go. Went there on a Thursday and as soon as we went inside the place was packed. We were quickly greeted by 3 people, and we sat down quickly. It was just me and my husband. The food came out quick and was hot. I had the burger which was so delicious and flavorful, and my husband had steak and ribs which was also awesome. Let me tell you the place is cozy, the people are nice and the food even better. The new manager Christian made us feel so comfortable. I will for sure go back and enjoy this little Davenport gem. ❤️

Jason was so fantastic I’m considering writing him into my will, I felt like I was eating dinner at a best friends home. Attentive, charming, and so on top of things he practically anticipated my needs before I did. If he’s not the best server in the galaxy, I don’t know who is. Five stars for making me feel like royalty!

Jason, our British server was like a cup of Earl Grey—smooth, classic, and just the right amount of sass. He served our food with the kind of grace you’d expect from someone who’s probably been knighted by the Queen (or at least met her in a pub). His dry wit had us chuckling between bites, and he managed to make refilling drinks feel like a royal decree. If you ever wondered what it’s like to have a meal served with a side of British charm, this is the guy you want. Five stars, and an extra crumpet if I could!

My fiancé , son and I went to this place. My son had the burger, my fiancé had the ribs and chicken and I had the salmon. When I say EVERYTHING was dry I mean exactly that. Bland with no flavor and dry. I’m quite sure it’s because they cooked everything too long but when a kid says a burger is dry then it’s dry because kids eat anything. We let the manager know and were given a slice of pie which actually was the best thing. They definitely need to work on cooking the food better!
