Ordered online for carry out. Order wasn't ready when I got there so I waited for them to tell me when it was ready. They didn't tell me anything so after waiting 10 minutes at the register someone finally got my order to me. Some dude with long hair and a beard was boxing stuff up and cussing at everyone working there. F bomb after f bomb. Won't be back

Was not happy or pleased there was barely any toppings on the pizza and was 15 minutes late despite all of that called and complained and they had another one sent out to be delivered and it was no better

I'm a middle school teacher ordering for 120 hungry kids, and Silver (Brooke), the manager, answered our call. Despite the order being the day before for 33 pizzas AND during busy hours, Silver was so kind, professional, and communicative. I really appreciate her time and care. She deserves a raise.

I have never had a worse experience at any establishment! My husband ordered 4 pizzas under my name to pick up after I got off of work. I had late clients, so I asked him to call to see if they even still have our food since it's been about an hour. They said they will keep it until the end of the night. When I came in to the store, there was only one kid making pizzas. After a few minutes someone came out of the office and asked if I'm picking up for Annie. I said yes. She handed me 2 boxes. I asked to confirm if it was supposed to be 4 boxes. She went to look, replied yes, made a face, and then informed me it will be a few minutes more because apparently someone ate from them... I wouldn't normally be this upset, but we called ahead and let them know I was going to be late! At that point, if someone already ate from it, that person should've put another one in to replace it instead of making me even more late. They didn't even offer me anything for the mishap. I didn't ask for free food, or a voucher, but that should've been the decent thing to do. Needless to say, I am never ordering from this location again.

Most pathetic excuse for customer service I’ve seen. Walked in for a pickup order, stood at the counter for a few minutes, nobody in the store said a word, even as they walked directly in front of us. After about 5 minutes a gentleman said “we will be right with you.” Had to wait another 5 minutes for the pizza, which wouldn’t have been bad if one of the three employees who looked directly at us would have bothered even a simple “hello”. After reading the other reviews, looks like it’s from the top down. Franchise owner probably wouldn’t be happy with that. Give the whole team a crash course in basic customer service or find a new team.

The worst pizza place I have ever delt with! We waited over an hour for our pizza. $80 and some worth of pizza. We called and they told us we would have to wait another 45 minutes to get our order but that he would give us a discount. RIDICULOUS and very UNPROFESSIONAL! Will never ever order from here again.

I'm a manager for one of the most popular beach restaurants on Pensacola Beach. Once a month we order pizza for our employees. For the last five years, I've ordered pizza from this Papa's with no issue. However, on Monday, Feb 19th, 2024 (at around 7:30 pm) , I ordered 9 pizzas from this store for delivery to my beach restaurant. The gentleman who took my restaurant's order was very polite, and friendly, and said "thank you" when he hung up. However, 3 minutes later, a manager named, "Zilver", called us back on our restaurant's phone number to rudely tell me that, from now on, I can't order 9 pizzas unless I give them 2-to-3 hours advanced notice. She didn't even politely ask me, as a favor; however, she simply TOLD me (demanded), in a passive, yet rude way, that's what I MUST do from now on if I want pizza from them. I've been doing this every month for 5 years and never ONCE had a manager call me back and berate me for not giving them a 2-3 hour notice for a simple order (8 pizzas were just simple large pepperoni and there was just ONE specialty thin-crust pizza- so nothing complicated at all). I can't order 2-3 hours in advance because I don't know how many employees I'll have on at that time, so I don't know how many pizzas I'll need. So Zilver, this Papa's MANAGER, basically told me I'm no longer allowed to order from Papa's again and I must only order from one of the many other pizza companies around our restaurant who gladly take normal orders. I asked the delivery driver if I was allowed to order again, as I typically do, and he thought so, but I'm still not sure If I'm allowed to call in an order to Papa's for 8 or 9 pizzas without 2 to 3 hours notice. According to Zilver, I am NOT allowed. If I were this Papa's franchise owner, or District Manager, I would NOT want a store manager who would potentially cost my franchise money by losing it, by being rude, to a popular spot such as ours. This was absurd and beyond belief- to call another restaurant manager and then berate them for making a simple order. I will, without a doubt, find this franchisee's contact info, and the DM's info, since it seems nobody really reads, nor responds often to, these Papa's negative reviews. Me, as a manager, would NEVER call a guest back and then berate them for not giving us a two-to-three hour notice for a simple $150 To-go Order that they placed with us; I would welcome ANY business from my regular patrons who want to order from us at 7:30 PM (If we closed at 12 AM)!

Waited 2 hours for food, website said it was delivered and it wasn’t. Called the manager and she couldn’t have cared less. food arrived cold and with no apologies.

The pizza is really good. The store itself is more for takeout or delivery. I've never had to wait long for them to make it.

My husband an I are staying at a campground in Gulf breeze and call to order a pizza an everything was PERFECT!!! No one thing to complain about!!!

10/10 experience with the Gulf Breeze Papa Johns location. Currently visiting from out of town for my best friends wedding. We were exhausted from being busy all day with setting up/breaking down & with all the other fun wedding festivities… so we decided to surprise the newlyweds with a pizza party! I placed an order online and unfortunately I was unable to leave a note so I ended up calling the store. After being on a quick hold, Shaun answered the phone and was able to help me. I asked if there was anyway that 1 pizza in my order could somehow, someway be shaped into a heart for the bride & groom. Shaun was up for the challenge & told me he would try his absolute best and I was perfectly okay with it. Fast forward 5 minutes, I got a phone call from the store and it was Shaun. He explained to me that he found a heart shaped pizza cutter & was 100% willing to do this for us! He then proceeded to ask if I wanted the pizza cut or not due to it being in a heart shape & I said whatever works best for him! When I arrived to the store, he was the only one working & he was working so hard!!! Pizzas were made on time & ready to go and let me tell yall… The pizza came out PERFECT! He even made a second heart shaped pizza because of the “shrinkage” that was caused due to the shape. <3 I never really leave reviews like this… but Shaun deserves it! 10/10 worker. $26 for a medium "the meats" including the delivery and tip. By far the worst pizza I have ever tried to eat. Cold, dry, no sauce. Threw 1/2 in the trash!

If mass production means success to you, then this is your place. They have a machine that flattens your pizza dough. Unique has been ripped out of the pizza idea and replaced with this. Meh.

Ordered pizza through on-line system. This location used DoorDash to deliver pizza. Was never notified of over a 30-minute late delivery. Then, pizza was delivered to someone else. Never received. I would never order pizza from this Papa John’s.

Very upset. They closed at midnight. I ordered a pizza for delivery at 10:30. I Paid. Never got my pizza delivered to me. I kept checking the tracking and it would say preparing. I got a text saying it’s taking longer than expected. It’s now 12:10. I order my pizza at 10:30. I just checked the app again and it said they canceled my order. I will not be ordering from here ever again. I will be calling to get my money back.

The pizza arrived super quick and very hot like it just came out the the oven, by far the best location that I’ve ever ordered from, thank you for the excellent service.

Good management here... I come to this papa johns from gulf breeze because our local one is so bad.... on some of these bad reviews I think many people forget that food is an art.... expecting fast food to be perfect everytime is pretentious, to say the least.... ive been nothing but pleased at this location, been gettin grub from them for almost 2 years now.

Not impressed at all. Last time I ordered never received order and basically they were like oh well.. Did get a refund.. But didn't help with feeding hungry employees

Ordering online is not easy for me when requesting half and half pizza; therefore, I did not get the special pricing, as I had to call my order in. The young lady was nice and friendly and I could understand her and received my pizza in the time frame that she stated and the delivery driver was very friendly and polite. Found my home with no problems.

I’ve had papa John’s from all over for years and have never been so disappointed. Had a coupon for buy one get one and simply ordered 2 large cheese pies. Looked like the ran out of cheese! Just to get a normal amount of cheese added would probably have cost me an additional topping! Very disappointing. Probably will stick to other pizza places around here from now on. The driver waited outside my house for 20 minutes in his car, and I specifically asked for no contact delivery because I have Covid. After growing impatient, because my food was getting cold, I went outside and he complained saying he was waiting forever. Food was cold by time I got it. Wasn’t even good. I tipped on the app so idk why he waited. Wish I could take that tip back lol

My boyfriend and I went to pick up food from here and this crazy blonde started being way too flirty. I would not come back...maybe just order over the phone.

It took almost THREE hours to get our order. The pizza and breadsticks were not even cut!! When we tried to call the store to ask how much longer, no one answered the phone (and we tried 6 times). I would never order from here!!

We did carry-out & the young man (I believe his name is Sebastian) was excellent in customer service! Very pleasant, smiled, made eye contact, helped us & was just all around nice! All those qualities are few it seems now a days for so many places. Especially in the food industry! He did a great job! Sebastian didn’t make our pizzas BUT they were yummy as well!! Very pleased!

It used to be my favorite pizza in Gulf Breeze but ever since you guys stopped hiring quality employees the pizza is gross no matter what pizza you get it's just not the same and that's because of the people making it not because of the company!

We ate here after our dolphin cruise. Sat outside by the window. Our son forgot his bag which contained medical supplies, snacks, and a JBL speaker. Called this morning 4/29/22 to see if it had been found. Said yes but only medical supplies. The manager went through the bad took out the medical supplies and we assume the JBL speaker and then threw away the drawstring bag. Stating no speaker was in the bad. Thieves!! Hope he enjoys that speaker!

Ordered delivery to the condo where we were staying. Used google for the address because didn’t know the address. It happened to be an address not far from the condo. The driver delivered the drink and pizza. I was cordial and respectful. He handed me the drink and the pizza. In a disgusted tone he said for future reference this is the address. Rude and disrespectful. His name is kris. Hate I pre tipped him online. Totally a jerk.

Update 10/11/2021: The Director of Operations reached out concerning the service provided below and made the situation right with excellent customer service. Review adjusted to 5 stars. 10/09/2021: My order was 1hr late and arrived cold. I’m giving two stars because the order was correct. The estimated time given for the pizza was 60-70mins and once it reached the two hour mark, I tried calling the store only to be holding for 20 mins and was not able to reach the manager. At that point (pizza hasn’t arrived yet) I left my house to see the manager at the store and he thought he put the estimated time at 2-4hrs but, the best he could do was give 30% my next order. I would have called about the cold pizza but I didn’t want to waste another 20 mins trying to get them on the phone or take another trip to the store. 30% off the next order is a small comp for this quality of service that left me disappointed.

Picked up pizza for a customer I guess it's cheaper to have GrubHub deliver it then the pizza place I don't know or maybe it's faster but I took it to him and they were very happy and it smelled real real good

I really do not like pizza however I had never had a papa John's anywhere near me growing up and if I do eat pizza for some reason I guess I like food chains and I just tried them about a year ago and it's been a regular for our family about once a month they have great deals and the pizza is very good much better than Pizza Hut or Domino's

The pizza was piping hot, fresh crust and perfect toppings but a HUGE shout out to the staff, super friendly and helpful, even brought a bowl of water to our little furbaby. Thank you for a job WELL done!

Over the years, I have ordered and liked Papa Johns pizza. Last night I ordered a lg pepperoni, thin crust pizza. I also asked for half with black olives and half with anchovies. I was disappointed with the lack of pepperoni. If there were 10 slices of pepperoni, I would be surprised! Is that the new norm or was there a shortage on pepperoni last night?

Order here regularly, had one pizza issue that was resolved on the spot with 0 issues. Quick to get the pizza delivered, usually around 30-35 minutes.

Have not had Papa Johns in years, ordered 6 pizzas today for my Son's Birthday Party, it was amazing. Everyone was talking about how good it was, and I am pretty sure I ate an entire box. Delicious!

Ordered an extra large with lots of veggies! The pizza was ready for pick up right on time, and was piping hot! My girlfriend and I enjoyed it. Just the right amount of toppings and the crust was crispy! Will go there again!

We've been driving 30 minutes from base every weekend, just to eat the pizza fresh inside in the sit down area. It's that good.
