Cold,food nothing is fresh I don't like chicken sitting under a heat lamp I see why they're not busy people want hot food

My wife placed an app order and I ordered at the counter, both took 25+ minutes while we watched others get their food before us.

Food is just fine. The service is fine it's the mildew everywhere inside the building....as soon as you walk inside that is all I smelled....as I was getting my drink from the drink machine I see mildew all over it...so I did not get any drinks.... I got a bad headache sitting inside ..... I never leave reviews but I had to this time.....

After a long time I decided to try Popeyes chicken. I ordered a $6.99 special. Two PCs of chicken, a biscuit and two side dishes. The young man taking my order was very efficient and friendly. Instead of chicken I opted for chicken tenders. Big mistake. They were more of batter than chicken. A very thin piece of chicken tenders. Wanted to wash hands but mans the bathroom faucet was not working. Also the front entrance has a sign to use another entrance. That door was very hard to open or close. More and more, some of the fast food restaurants are cutting their hours or are closing down. Just wondering what is going on?

Really great chicken sandwiches, and strawberry lemonade icee's.

Made a comment to me that was just stupid as hell. As there was no one in the parking lot to "speed around" for lol.

Save your money. I ordered chicken tenders, which were half the size they usually are, more like chicken bites. The prices are already higher than most fast food places, and now you also get less food. Chicken and biscuits were also dry.

Food was amazing but I was a bit frustrated because I ordered an 8 piece mixed, and I asked for all of the white pieces to be wings. When I got to the window, the cashier verified what I wanted (4 wings, and the other 4 pieces of dark to come how they do usually). He verified this multiple times, yet when I got my food, I only had 2 wings for my white meat. I was already home (30 minutes away) and it was late so I didn't want to waste over an hour for 2 chicken wings. I don't eat breasts though so it did suck that even though I verified my order multiple times, it was still wrong.

Devin was so helpful and welcoming to all customers. It was a great experience, and I wish more customer interactions were like that.

You get 1 star. Great workers great food but dear management. This is the third year I've come to pensacola for vacation and ever year the door is locked. Drive threw only ? Why don't you hire more people to make your store run smoother. You workers for dang sure deserve it. Come.on management step up your game

Waited 45 minutes for my food through the drive thru. They kept saying it was coming but it took 45 minutes. What kind of fast food is that?

We went in and explained that we needed to make a special order for a large family, and the crew was excellent fulfilling what we needed. Our food was hot and fresh. They were also helpful with setting up my rewards. The crew was pleasant and professional with us and everyone in the store. Definitely recommend this location.

We always love Popeye's food but we always have terrible service (very unprofessional).

I've been there almost every day since the fish sandwich has been on the menu and this location gets it right every time. It's always hot, always fresh and the crew is extremely nice. I've already had the honey lemon pepper wings twice this week. Straight up its HITTIN 😍🍽

Chicken & biscuits were old, old, old. Got a family of 4 box (12 pcs), even mix of spicy & not.....all of it leftover from lunch at 5:30 evidently. Disgusting. 😕

Gulf Breeze FL store # 13460 4/20/2024 @2:50PM: order #107: drive thru order 1-shrimp tackle box French fries as a side, and tartar sauce. Easy right? WRONG! Thought I’d stop for a quick a late lunch. I have not been to Popeyes for 5-years and thought I’d give them a chance. It seems there were other customers so I was surprised this got so complicated and wrong so quickly. It’s almost like they worked at trying to get customers (that’s right guy behind that arrived moments later also had problems with service). Q Long story made short; after who appeared to be a manager took my order at the speakers, at the window, and a staff member asking me two more times what ordered; I went inside to get a refund. When I asked for the refund, the supposedly manager said, “There’s your order” pointing at a bag picked up by the staff member and held to me. Being upset at the poorest experience of service “ever” I replied, “You’ll hear about this!” And I left the store with the bag handed to me; as my supposed order. LOL… I should have known better; 2-miles down the road, now still angry I open the bag to find Shrimp, a biscuit and coleslaw… no fries. How seriously bad can a company allow this kind of management and examples to staff members of how to not be organized?! Oh I forgot about the other guy who was behind me in line… his order was screwed up too. After a couple of visits from a staff member he left the place shortly before me. I don’t know if his order was ever corrected or not. And what’s really is sad is that the $6.41 for the incorrect meal; the 20-minutes of my wasted time (including the time to complain on here), and loss of trust in this Popeyes (and most likely the regional team for allowing this type of work ethic) (like I said; not just my order… but I’d bet there are numerous others who get cheated and never reported it). I’ll never YES never visit this Popeyes location again! Believe what you may and I’m sure Popeyes people like this will cry and say it was the customers fault; they were having a bad day and took it out on us trying to please the customer…. Well there is where the truth will be told because I got it on video. Yelp, conversations and the numerous trips to my car and the other customers car with poor service attempts are recorded. From the speaker order, the conversation with me and the other guy (I had my window down) until down the road and finding g out I was ripped off… all recorded. Horrible service and treated with disrespect. My order was simple and it was wrong. I called the restaurant about it and the person I spoke with was disrespectful. Also my order kept getting delayed do to the restaurant not being prepared.

I love the Gulf Breeze Popeyes! The food is delicious... but more importantly the staff is so friendly, and they really show that they care about everything! The staff's good vibes made my experience so much more enjoyable than the typical fast-food experience. I have visited twice in the last three weeks and both times were equally great! Thank you for that positive energy you bring to the job and for making delicious food! My family’s order consisted of the classic chicken sandwich, spicy tenders, and nuggets... all was fresh and yummy!

Wait times are extremely long to get your food even when it is not busy. Customer service is highly lacking with no pride in what they do. Food is never hot. I will not be returning.

I just went through the drive through a coupletimes , they definitely arent stingy with any extra condaments like Wendys is. I mean two packets of ketchup isnt gonna get me through a order of fries then they hand you one at o time when you ask for more. Smh. Popeyes gives you the handful right off the bat . I was very happy wirh both of my experiences there.

I have stopped eating at Popeyes because how poor the quality of service and food has been. But was working in the gulf breeze are and decided to try again and this is the best Popeyes I’ve been to in a long time! Food was fresh and cooked perfectly and staff was wonderful. I was shocked but so happy. I actually ate there again the next day and I will continue to visit this location during lunch!

Soggy chicken tenders, 30 minute wait for a 5 piece tender meal. Didn’t realize they had to go out back to get the chicken for each order! Ridiculous location and worst Popeyes I’ve been to. Won’t be returning.

It seems every time we go on a Saturday morning. We get there a little after 10 and the doors are still locked. They come to the door and tell us it's not gonna be till 10:30 before they open. They need to open when the hours say or change the hours to 10:30.

I’m going to start out by saying I was the jerk that came 7 minutes before closing. Unfortunately I didn’t realize that the staff would vocalize it so much. As we were about to order they guy was actively counting down how long before they closed. I couldn’t even get my order in over him. I finally gave up and apologized for even going through the drive thru. As another fast food work I completely understand not liking the last minute people showing up but I really don’t think it’s appropriate to be so rube and in your face about it. Unfortunately jerks like me coming so close to closing is part of the business as we all know.

My brother and I popped in here for a quick lunch and I have to tell you this is one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I've ever eaten. It was steamy hot fresh crispy delicious. I can't wait to go back.

Service is slow here and the place is often dirty. The food is just normal Popeye’s food but I’ve often gotten cold food after a 20 minute wait.

Delicious food but prices are really high for my taste. I know fast food prices have gone way up but I think $25 for 2 people and that was not even a combo meal price, is a little pricey. Chicken is so good though it was worth it but not on a regular basis. So on occasion I will visit.

The food was good but the person working the counter was absolutely clueless. I ordered a spicy two piece dark meat meal, which should be a leg and a thigh. Started to put it together then said sorry they were out of thighs and would it be okay if I got two legs. Um, no. Much smaller piece. Said okay how about a breast then. Okay. Occurred to me they might have a thigh in original, so I asked. Looked and Said yes, so I said okay then give me an original recipe thigh. So gave me an original recipe breast. Oh brother. I just ate it. Not worth the brain damage. Hubby really enjoyed his blackened chicken sandwich. Mac and cheese was pretty greasy.

Ordered online for pickup at 510. Arrived at 506. They had not even started to fry the chicken. I had been waiting for 25 mins when they started to bag my food and I noticed that they had not dropped fries since I arrived and were starting to bag me fries that had been there for at least 25 min. I asked them for hot fries which they graciously fixed. Finally got my food and headed out at 540. The sweet and spicy wings were delicious, but the strawberry biscuits were burnt, dry and the bottom of the container they were in was marked 220 which I assume was the time they were made. There appeared to be 2 managers there and they didn't seem to be worried that customers were waiting for long periods. The young man working the counter was very apologetic for the delay. Will have to think about going back. 🤔

My new favorite fast food!!! Fast, fresh and hot, friendly staff!! The best macaroni and cheese 🧀 I have ever had. Awesome fried chicken and sandwiches. Beans n rice delicious too! Mashed potatoes and gravy yummy as well! Happy we have them here in my neck of the woods!!

Who can resist a spicy blackened chicken sandwich? Not this guy. Sadly the drive thru service was not on par, asked for large size on the combo, ended up with a large drink as an added item. Asked for them to fix the order it was then $3.xx for large fries. Is it that hard to delete and order, Then ring it up correctly? I guess so.. So much for reliable service at this location.

Clean store and best service. Management is on point, workers all friendly and helpful. Great food. Keep up the great work!

Asked for spicy all dark chicken. But got regular one time. Second time got regular again, but asked if I got spicy? They checked then gave me spicy but not all dark meat . The chicken, shrimp and red beans and rice are good. If my order was right would give them 5 stars.

Excuse me if I butcher the spelling, but Lamontah and Elijah truly have the professionalism and hospitality of Walt Disney himself. I’m not joking. My bf and I ordered the classic sandwich combo with cheese. They were out of Mac n cheese for a side, apologizing and asking what other side my bf wanted. My bf decided mashed potatoes and gravy and they threw in an extra mashed potatoes because I ordered fries and I’ve actually never had the mashed potatoes before. What a GAME CHANGER. First of all- you can’t compete with popeyes unless your grandma knows what she’s workin with… this meal with the mashed potatoes was beyond my tastebuds to comprehend because I devoured it faster than a hot dog competition. Furthermore, Lamontah and Elijah made me feel like I was already home in the driveway and I was in the popeyes drivethru. Very polite, asking if had everything, very happy and professional..I could just feel the team’s energy. I’m not doing this post to troll or even gain anything other than the respect and happiness of these men and you will all realize it too if you go thru the gb popeyes drive thru...With Elijah, Lamontah, and possibly me too. Service is not robotic, sorry chic fil a, Elijah and Lamontah are beyond that in hospitality and personality than Webster has words for. Gold standard. Thank you guys. You are awesome and I hope the CEO sees this. If there’s anyone that can send this to higher ups please do or have them respond to this review and I will personally fly up there..I mean it. Please accept this as a formal review. I can be silly, but I truly meant every word. I’ve also never wrote a review on Google before and I’ve been alive for 29 years, nyc, Japan, all of it. Yeah- Meant a lot after completely changing my mood after that 5 min experience on a long day.

We dined inside and had a wonderful experience. The wait time was reasonable, service was exceptional, and the food tasted fresh and delicious!

Well as i been sitting here in drive threw for 5 min waiting after being told their still making my online order i made 15 min ago that was supposed to be ready 10 min ago my stomach is growling so …. Curious what u was doing the 10 between making the order an me showing up since ur parking lot is pretty bare … kind of defeats, the purpose of online ordering Update~no utensils or sauce in my bag guess ill use my nails to eat my red beans an rice 😒
