Best home made pasta I've ever had outside of Italy. And their cream sauce dishes are divine. The bruschetta is amazing.

My biggest complaint about this place is they want a tip before they've even started to serve you. I am not going to tip someone 18 or 20%. I don't know how good the service is gonna be.

Wish I had read reviews before going. This is not a real restaurant anymore, it's like a Noodles & Company with less consistency and flavor. They call it "market style" but it's where you order at the counter, tip before you've had any service, and all of your stuff gets brought to your table at once. So if you'd like to eat your appetizer, then soup, then entre and be comfortable, you won't get that here. They'll try to fit all of it on the tiny table you're sitting at. Door is left open so swat the flies away while you eat your meal. My sausage was definitely undercooked but otherwise the food was actually decent. It's a shame that the rest of the experience really brings the food down. Ditch that awful business model and return to full service. There's no justification for this. I should have known something was wrong when I spotted the number flags on the tables outside as we were walking up honestly expecting a traditional dining experience.

6:30 pm ordered spaghetti, meatball and sausage to go. $23!!!! Meatball only 1 1/2 " diameter. Sausage link is dried out. Very very little sauce. I think I was gypped. As a woman, I was given the leftovers. A man would fare better at this place. No one let me know my order was ready--it sat there as I waited outside. Not a good experience at all.

This is a very different style of restaurant. You order at a counter right as you walk in the door. You are expected to tip at that time as well. I personally like to look at a menu and not feel rushed to make a decision, because folks are waiting behind me. I prefer to tip appropriately after receiving service. As it turns out lunch service was non existent. We were seated at a table and received beverages by the man who took our order as we came in. We didn’t see anyone till our food was delivered. Hardly any sauce on the pasta. No service to speak of and we left. It might have been an off day. We will not be back as we prefer to review a menu and not tip for poor service when we go out to eat.

Simply the best Italian restaurant in town!

Place used to taste great and i imagine still does, but you have to know what you want before you sit down. Their new "dining" format is just plain uninviting. Terrible idea for brand new customers. DO NOT EXPECT TO SIT DOWN AT A TABLE AND LOOK OVER THEIR MENU.

Best Italian in Greeley hands down

3rd time we’ve been here and disappointed. First time there were a ton of flies in the restaurant. When I asked if there was anything they could do about the flies the server said no. The 2nd time we did a family dinner and they brought food 1 plate at a time and at least 10 minutes between each persons dishes. Ate here again tonight, the kids spaghetti wasn’t cooked, my lasagne was way over cooked. We won’t be back

Small portions, my husband's pasta was over cooked to the point of it being chewy, my pasta was undercooked and my dish the pollo creama had no flavor with the exception of the chicken. Very disappointing to pay so much for food that was mediocore at best. The best part of our order was the pistachio cheesecake

Being an Italian food lover, when you walk in, it's very welcoming with an upscale feeling. Pellegrini Cucina Italiana offers an array of cuisine to savor. With a variety of wines to go with every plate. I will be quick to the point. Ive tried many Italian restaurants from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins. I have too say hands down this is by far one of the best Italian restaurants around. With pasta being made fresh every plate l've had is full of flavor from appetizers through dessert. If your looking for an authentic flavor and feel of Italy, definitely come here with friends family. Plus the owner is a great person very humble who makes you feel at home..... for me it's a 5+ Aka. We absolutely love the food here. But the service concept is extremely wanting. Completely love the lasagna, parmisan, and ravioli are wonderful. We really dislike that you have to order at the front counter and can't leave a check open so have 4 to 5 charges from appetizers to drinks to dinner and desserts.

This restaurant is basically tied with catiavellis in Denver for my favorite Italian place. Both offer fresh, authentic, and delicious flavors. Though, they have very different menus. I would take the oasta carbonara at pelligrinis over anyone elses. It was perfection on a plate. I did not get pictures, which I regret. But, I plan to go back and update this review with pictures. The service was spectacular, and our waiter was kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. He also helped me buy from their deli counter when I finished eating. This restaurant has a warm atmosphere with a Mediterranean vibe (with the white) and would be a great date night. I honestly can not say enough good things about Pelligrini's.

The food is SO good and the staff members are great. I had the ravioli. Though I think I would order more food if they didn’t have the order before you sit down system. Will be back.

Went with my son, based on recommendation from his friends. We ordered mussels, salads, pasta, and dessert. The Italian market model is a bit of an issue for anyone ordering more than a single course as they didn't wait to fire the entrees to coincide with our finishing the earlier courses. The food was good, but not mind-blowing. The complimentary bread, with olive oil, balsamic, and herbs was a nice touch, but the bread was disappointing - too soft to work well for dipping and tearing and not very crusty. As it's a standard offering, I would have preferred olive oil, balsamic, and herbs at the table to mix my own instead of everything in a little to-go container (which makes sense for takeout). The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean, bright and pleasant.

The food was delicious! I had the Pollo in Crema and the Toasted Almond. I wish the restaurant was open a little bit longer. The restaurant was quiet when we came in at 7 pm on a Saturday. I'm surprised that the place wasn't busy as the food and prices are good.

The definition of a 3/5 restaurant - almost a 4. The atmosphere and staff were excellent, I was really impressed by how well-oiled of a machine they were and was very appreciative of that. However, the food was the very definition of average. I've had better, I've had worse, and ultimately I landed somewhere in the middle. It's not worth an extra-special stop, but it might satisfy a craving if you're wanting something other than Olive Garden. Side note - the pistachio cheesecake was easily the best thing we had.

Gluten-free, This is a charming Italian restaurant, a favorite for my family and myself. They offer large portions.Even the children's plates are rather large.

This is by far the best italian food i've ever had and i'm sixty three years old so i've had a few not only that but I am italian. The only thing that I would comment about and it wasn't a huge problem, Is the Wait, staff was standing there.Talking about negative things about their job.And that doesn't make for a very positive atmosphere. Also, the gentleman spent a lot of time talking. Didn't come over once and ask how I was doing. The thing is that, Like I said it wasn't such a big deal and the food is so Good.I would recommend it to every.One.

The best Itialian restaurant within two hours of Denver, Pellegrini somehow makes every meal memorable and comfortable. The owner is a gem, loves his customers, and eating here is an Quality experience. Pricing is good, and ordering as you enter makes for a solid time to make inquiries. Their customer service is impeccable. Plenty of on-site, free parking.

Love the remodel, food is EXCELLENT! Locals if you're not eating here, you're missing out. Everything is delicious from the entrees to the desserts. Their staff is hard working and attentive.

Great food and an amazing atmosphere

We had dinner here for the 1st time, Monday 5/20/24 6:00pm, I make sure I informed the young girl up front this was out 1st time visiting the restaurant, her 1st impression was like ok oh well ! We didn’t feel welcome at all and when we had questions on the menu she seemed annoyed..to the owner, staff like her can make this place not a place to come back. Thank god the food was delicious, the dessert and macchiato to die for. The food definitely made up for the bad attitude and unwelcome by the girl taking out order. We will come back for another delicious meal hopefully the greeting will be better..

If I could give more stars, I would! This was our second time eating here and I have nothing but great things to say. We had a big family dinner as my dad came to town, and he also loved it there. The Italian feel is amazing. The staff is friendly and the owner came and chatted with us and we all had a good laugh. The food is so delicious…wish I could eat there everyday! I truly appreciate your kindness throughout the night. I will definitely be back…places like this are hard to come by! Authentic Italian food is the best! Oh my gosh. I love this place! It has such a fun, unique feel to the restaurant experience. As a market-style restaurant, you order from a counter to go or can be seated and have a restaurant experience. This isn't for every occasion but is perfect for everything other than someone seeking a high-end (boring) experience. THAT said, the atmosphere, food, and service proved to be top notch! I love Italian food. Unfortunately, many "good" Italian restaurants still use mass-produced pasta. Like a good pizza crust, the pasta makes the dish. I was so excited to see that Pellegrini makes their own pasta in-house. We sat down with menus, then went to the counter to order. I planned to grab a few bags of fresh pasta to take home as well. Our food came out and the rest is a blur - everything was incredible. Sauces were flavorful and well-seasoned, the pasta had perfect chew, and the meats were to die for. Don't even get me started about the dark chocolate torte for dessert. We loved the atmosphere (think Italian countryside with exposed wood beams, white stone, and welcoming fireplaces) and the servers were attentive well after our dessert plates were licked clean. I can't wait for an excuse to head back to sample more dishes. I was also told that a seasonal gelato bar is opening soon. Maybe I'll have to schedule a few trips to see if that's in yet...

Excellent experience. The sauce really complimented the pasta in each dish. Everything was delicious. The staff was really attentive to our needs till the end of our meal. We had to ask for the deserts but everything else was on par. Next time I am in the area I will visit again. Party of 4 with a baby. 4-12-24. 6pm.

The best little slice of Italy right here in Colorado! You order first, sit down, then they bring you your food. We had the burrata to share and then I had the Bodcaiola! All so so delicious!!! Simple ingredients but big flavors. The owner, himself an Italian, was there and it was nice talking to him! They do sell some Italian ingredients, like pastas, sun dried tomatoes. They make all their pastas in house. I actually had a hard time picking what I wanted to eat because everything just sounded so delicious. I cannot wait to go back!

Outstanding! The food was amazing, fresh pasta, perfectly seasoned and portioned. Atmosphere and decor were airy, crisp and clean, a welcome departure from over-stuffed counterparts. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Value is where Pellegrini shines, quality food at reasonable prices (~$16-20 entree) in this atmosphere is an outlier in NOCO. Wine list compliments the menu and the tiramasu put the feather in the cap of an enjoyable evening. New favorite place to eat.

Overall a great experience. Pasta was homemade and delicious. Red sauce was yummy(and I'm picky). Pizza looked amazing. Prices were reasonable, the service was good and the portions were generous. You order at the counter (don't know why) and they deliver to your table. Would definitely come back. Tasted better than some of the food I had in Roma!

Wow. Just wow. We recently celebrated my nephews birthday here and it was my first time. The ordering system was a bit unique and at first I wasn’t sure I liked it and would prefer full service, however the owner and the staff really helped and made it seamless. The restaurant was absolutely stunning and clean. I couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. The wine was delicious and the meal was incredible! We will definitely be back!

My first time being there with two other people. They completely missed the mark on two of the three meals. I ordered Gorgonzola gnocchi and got a salad with Gorgonzola. She offered to get me the pasta at half off but had no intention of NOT charging me full price for the salad. The other person got Alfredo instead of pesto. Not impressed.

This restaurant is such a hidden little gem in Greeley. It's off the beaten path but the quality is unmatched. I haven't eaten this well since I went to Italy! The staff was incredible, the drinks were well priced and delicious. The environment was clean and cozy. I can't wait til we have a chance to go back!

My wife and I had the unique opportunity to attend Pellegrini’s Festa Di San Valentino on Valentine’s Day last week, and the food was amazing! Our family has been regular customers of Carlo’s restaurant for 10+ years, and the food never disappoints. Pellegrini’s is a family owned and operated restaurant with his wife, daughter, and son all taking part in the experience of authentic Italian food in an Italian market-style cozy atmosphere. My wife and I have traveled and eaten through Italy, and we have probably tried just about every Italian restaurant from Denver to Cheyenne, and you will not find a higher quality, more authentic Italian meal than Pellegrini’s. I believe what makes Pellegrini’s so good is Carlo sticks to the basics of Mediterranean cuisine with simple quality ingredients. We are all experiencing the rising cost of groceries, at Pellegrini’s you can still get a quality plate of pasta for under $15. No, you won’t find a 15-layer lasagna like you might at Olive Garden, but you will find a lasagna with fresh pasta and just the right amount of high-quality herbs, spices, bolagnese sauce and fresh ricotta cheese. Carlo makes his own salsiccia (sausage) in-house, and pappardelle pasta. My favorite dish is the Boscaila, and my wife and daughter’s crave his prosciutto e panna, for desert, try their mouth watering homemade tiramisu. You will not be disappointed. And it doesn’t stop after desert - on the way out, you can grab some fresh homemade pasta and sauce to cook at home. We absolutely love this place!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. Our group of six sampled everything from appetizers to dessert and did not have a single complaint. The shrimp and calamari in the Frito Misto were crispy and delicious and we wished we had ordered two. I won't go into detail about the individual dishes but I will note the homemade pasta was excellent, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors delicious. The new interior is light and airy with white walls and light neutral tones accented with blue cushions. It felt welcoming and comfortable. We went out for a special occasion, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I have to admit the "market-style" model (you go up to the counter to order and pay on the spot) was really hard to navigate with six people aged 5 to 72, but despite this unfamiliar setup the evening was very satisfying.

One of the most amazing resteraunt experiences I've ever had. The owner was right at the door to greet and welcome us in. We then ordered our food at the register and the staff there was very accommodating. The atmosphere is very nice. Super clean and very personal. We then got our food and it was AMAZING. Both me and my wife greatly enjoyed our meals. The sausage is particularly scrumptious. All in all, I'd call this experience a 10/10. THANK YOU!

The food was pretty good. But if I am going to a restaurant, I don't want to have to get up and go order at a counter every time I need something. Ok, for lunch. But I wouldn't recommend a sit-down dinner. It felt very fast food but with the price of a regular restaurant.

Had a wonderful evening. Food was fantastic, scratch made pasta was beautiful. Sauces were delicious. If you are eating Italian food elsewhere within 100 miles rethink your life choices.

Just hired this restaurant for our annual holiday party (25 people) and could not be happier about the service, customer service (incredibly easy to create a menu) and most importantly the quality of food was amazing. Highly recommend!

I was here before the fire when it was a full service restaurant. It is still sort of a restaurant but the front counter is where you border food and drinks and then go sit down. It has a huge menu and it takes some time to read it. It seems a full service restaurant would be best suited here still where you can sit and relax and order. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. There are some beers and drinks but a pretty sparse selection.

Amazing place to eat authentic Italian! The portions are large, food comes out fast and hot, very filling, employees are friendly, manager is tentative.We really loved this place! It is probably not the best place for kids but older family outing, date night, food with friends, grandparents this is the place to go! Very affordable. I wish we had pictures of the food but it looked too good to pause to the picture.

Food was delicious but service wasn’t great the gentleman in front was the only nice person there the waitress staff last night were super rude the owner talked to every table but ours definitely didn’t feel welcomed at all then nobody came to our table to ask if we needed anything but they definitely asked all the tables near us but when it came to us nothing so probably won’t be going back

Great Italian food in a great location.

I've been here a few times and have tried multiple different things and many of the deserts. Everything has been great. Highly recommended! So far I think my favorite entree was the shrimp rosa and my favorite desert is either the canoli or the Lemon cake

First time in and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. Everything was explained beautifully. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Gluten free options also! They are open for lunch now!

I hadn't been here in quite a long time and only just learned that they had a fire in 2019 and only reopened last year. The food was INCREDIBLE, and the only thing keeping me from licking my plate after finishing my gnocchi in a gorgonzola cream sauce was not wanting to cause a scene with the other diners. I think this place is a hidden gem in Greeley, where so many restaurants are mediocre in chain restaurant Hell. I don't live in Greeley, and in all honesty, Google Maps led me to a parking lot dead-end near the place. Google should fix that, but it's a different story. Admittedly, it's difficult-ish to find if you're unfamiliar with the area. With that out of the way, I was shocked by how delicious each dish was. There were 8 in our party, and we all tried each other's meal. It's so much better than Olive Garden's refrigerated, reheated meals. The owner makes everything from scratch. My favorite was the ham appetizer (I forgot the name), but I'd go back just for them. Manicotti was to die for, and I'm not usually a fan. Lasagna was yummy yummy yummy. My son-in-law grumbled the serving sizes were on the small size, but I've eaten at many high-end restaurants in the big cities, and the quality equals expensive restaurants I've been too. The market-style ordering surprised me initially, but the staff walked by frequently asking if we needed anything. To say I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience is an understatement! Lovely experience, and the owner came out and spoke with me. If you haven't gone here, buck up! You're missing out!!

This is Traditional Italian! Apon arrival you will be greeted by amazing and friendly staff that has no problem explaining what a certain dish is or offer their personal suggestions. You order your food at the front counter, just like you would in Italy at a market style restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for the food, service, and atmosphere. The food is so delicious, I have not enjoyed Italian food this good since I was in Italy. Traditional Italian food and desserts, even their gelato is Traditional and you can tell with one look. I am so glad we found this jem of a restaurant. If you are looking for Italian food exactly like what you would find in Italy, this is the place. Thank you for bringing the feeling, smells and tastes of Italy to Greeley, we look forward to our next visit.

The food is AMAZING!!!! I haven't been here since before it was rebuilt; I loved it then and I love it even more now! The inside is nice, bright, and inviting. The staff was great and the owner checked on us and everyone regularly and appropriately... sometimes I hate it when managers/owners come around and ask if everything is okay, but not the owner here, he made a quick check-in, was kind and polite, and didn't linger, it was very warming to the whole experience. The way they do the ordering and seating is a bit odd, but it was fine. When you go in, you order first and pay, then they take you to your seat. If there is something else you want to order, like more wine or a dessert (I recommend the lemon cake), then you have to go back up to the counter and pay again. I really loved this place a lot, as did the friends and family I came with, we all loved what we ordered and want to go back!

The restaurant clearly places an emphasis on detail which elevates the dishes to excellent Italian fare. Slightly unorthodox service as you order at a counter and pre-pay but this is more than made up for by the friendly staff
